Just take deep breaths and imagine yourself on the beach at Waikiki.  Wish I were going with you.

I am a CA gal.  The weather is perfect here.  The temp today will be high 84, usually past 100 degrees.  I don't know what's going on with this weather, but it seems like we had winter and fall in June.  Just thought I would chime inCool  Love from CA

Pretty hot  in deep South Texas - reached 100 degrees this afternoon.

Hi Sherry,  I know Tahoka, just a few miles south of here.  Although it is hot here, my mom lives in Iowa (hence sweetcorn) where the heat index is 118 today!  Yuck...

stage 1 - Did not spend alot of time in Northern CA.  Live in Novato and went to 2 years of high school there while dad was in the Air Force.  Loved San Rafael and Sausalito.  Really did not go any farther north than that.

Stage1, Well we haven't had any tornadoes or hail lately, not even any rain.  There are horrible drought conditions currrently along with the heat!

Funny weather all across the nation.  CA had rain into June and so far mild temps.

Doing better with after affects of rads, so I am almost ready to take my first Arimidex pillYellWish me luck.

stage1...glad you're doing better! Good luck with the Arimidex! Honestly, I think the hormonal part of this treatment is the part I'm dreading the most because the side effects have the potential to be so long-term. Ugh.

The weather is crazy this year...

Ladies I finished Rads June 15th and still haven't taken the Femara...........I dread it, and can't bring myself to put that little "bast--d thing in my mouth................I don't need all the SE's from that shit, in addition to fighting this LE.........................what next................

The weather here in my part of Pa. is horrible................I'm going to my shore home this weekend in NJ, but a lot of good that's doing...............plenty of sun that I can't go out in, a gorgeous 20x42 ft. pool that I can't go into, and weather hotter then hell.....................guess I should shut up, and just be glad I can get away from this part of town.

duckyb1...your shore home sounds wonderful! I would love to live near the shore. It's a 10 hour drive for us to the closest beach. I'm looking forward to my husband and I going to Hilton Head in September (it will be our first vacation without kids in 8 years) but then I'm thinking with the way things have been going for me this year, we'll probably get a dern old hurricane or something...hehe...

Barb58......It is wonderful, but can't do all the things I did before....................like my grandaughter is going to be there...........she asked if I would make Spaghetti and Crabs for her for dinner one night.........................Problem.............I cook my own, clean my own, and then make the gravy..........................Problem #2.................With LE, if I cut myself while cleaning the crabs, I'm in deep sh-t..............all I need is an infection in my right hand, can't get any cuts at least not now.....

My daughter says she will do all the cleaning, but I feel so useless watching someone else.......it really stinks

But the house is wonderful...........It is in Cape May Beach, NJ......................just far enought from the noise and nonsense of the main drags, but within 5 miles of going to where the nonsense is, if I want too........................around 5 miles from the ocean too...........but with the pool we have the best of both worlds.....................ocean in the morning, and when all the crazies come to the beach we leave, and go back to the house and the pool, for a nice lunch outside............................I just wish I could do all the things I could do before, but until; I can, I will just have to suck it up.....................

Lots of family this weekend..........also my new twin great-grandaughters 4 months old.............................fun, but "no sleep) this weekend................oh my

stage 1 & barb - I have to tell you both that when my MO gave me my script for Tamoxifen, I decided to just go for it and take the damn pill.  Mind you I had trouble with both Armidex & Femara - stomach problems that were bad.  With that said, I did not hesitate.  Took a split dose to begin with and when that got old, took the whole pill at breakfast with milk.  Been on Tamox for a little over 6 months and no problems.  I look at the hormonal therapies as an added insurance policy against recurrance - that's just my thinking.  Good Luck to both of you in your decision.

Thanks, jo1955, I just took my first Arimidex, I will let you know how I react.  I am mostly worried about the bone SE, as I already have osteopenia...

Ducky, sit back and have a good time watching everyone else, time for someone to wait on us and cook for us, when necessary.  EnjoyWink

    ((vshea))) Yay!! Good for you!!

Well gals, I hate to say this but yesterday and today was actually nice here in FL. The humidity was lower than usual and although the temp hit 92, I could go outside and not immediately break into a sweat. Woo Hoo. Sorry, not trying to gloat, just marvelling.
