Hey ladies long time no chat... I have been sitting with a lady on the weekends (not much money but every little bit helps these days as we are barely getting by), and I have still been sick. Just got over a bout of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Been checking out my symptoms and I'm starting to think it may be my gall bladder. Boo!!! guess I'm going to have to go to the doctor... yuck!
Welcome to all you new ladies this is such a wonderful, supportive group of friends. I miss them all when I don't get to come on here. I have just spent the last 2 days reading and trying to catch up. So much going on in everyone's lives. I really hate to hear about your SIL Sheila. Prayers going up for her.

FYI: I made an appt to see my primary care doc tomorrow at 3:30. Please send up some prayers for our financial situation also, it is getting very dire. We are to the point not sure where money is going to come from to pay bills like the elec and phone. If I didn't have you ladies to talk to I don't know what I'll do. If I lose my phone I lose my internet also. I'm working on the weekends making 200.00 but it just doesn't go far enough. It would really help if my daughter was helping out but that is not happening. We've tried to tell her but no luck making a kid understand the seriousness of the situation. I think stress has also helped to pull my immune system down. I really thought I'd have a job now. Just gonna believe and keep having faith. I'll let you know what the doc says.

Mimi---there is financial help out there...i dont know about where you live but if you put it out there someone will surely have some kinda info for you....I know in NJ one of the sistas was in a bad financial bind....she did get a gas card and also $$$ for electric and im not sure what else.I wish i could be of more help except maybe start a thread.thats what this girl did.it cannot hurt and just maybe someone will know something....

Val what a beautiful village.. how long have you been collecting?
I had my RO app't this morning... he's great, we took a look at the mamo pic's and he thought they all looked good! He did schedule me for an MRI of my head.... since I've had some nagging pain and just can't get rid of a sinus/cold thing.... has anyone had one of those? Go back to see him in June so I'm still on the 6 mo rotation.
Granny did I read somewhere back a few pages that you're going to be GONE again the month of January?

Samsue---you read right.was supposed to go to fla for a month BUT now im havin all kinds of stomach issues...waiting to hear from my nurse who never called today(thats really not like her)
I read a while back that the rads can bring on colitis...well i had colitis way back and it has been in remission but its acting up bad right now and im not so sure ill be able to go anywhere till i get this thing checked out...AND my dr is in India till the end of the month.....Bleeding from the backside is never a good thing altho its not something new.....we will see.At this point i just wanna stay out of the bathroom!!!!!!!!
Its not even Christmas and i got another gift from bc.....this really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Today I decided to celebrate ME DAY.
I loved it. I don't do anything for myself so I went online and bought some stuff from Macy's one day sale. Free shipping and $25.00 off on $100
It made me feel good. I only bought few things i needed...........
And i don't feel guilty... like my DD always says that I have to make myself happy ...

Granny, the bathroom is one of those rooms in the house I'd rather not spend a lot of time in... unless it's for a hot tub soak!
I like the lavender and epson salt/sea salt soak ~ heavenly!Thanks Jo, I go to work every day as usual but sound like I've "got something" that everyone will catch... the PCP I saw last Wed thought it was just allergies but the RO thinks different. We'll see.

I'm new and mostly lurk. I was diagnosed in early Oct., UMx on 11/28. The pathology came back (besides the original tumor and "area of concern" from the MRI guided biopsy) with 8 other tumors/tumorlets I have micromets in 2/3 nodes and am meeting my RO tomorrow. I've already met with my MO. I've given blood for menopause placement and will be getting the Oncotype report. I don't know what I'm doing next and I'm so weary from the waiting and worrying. This place is so wonderful cause I feel I can just be that here.

Oh Jo Spa Day sounds wonderful.
I love massages and that foot thing reflexology (SP) it is so relaxing i almost fell asleep.
Since I dont do ME DAY maybe i would book a massage too. Of course i have to write a letter to Santa...

Corgi, welcome to the family of many sisters.... All I can suggest is take notes and ask a lot of questions. I did have someone go with me to a couple of app'ts and that in itself was helpful. Please come back often and voice any of your concerns. We're great listeners and someone here has probably experienced what you're needing to know about. (((hugs)))

Hello, I'm a fellow stage oner. I've had bmx and reconstruction. Orig. not slated for chemo but oncotype dx score too high so now starting chemo next week.

Kaara ~ Several years ago when I went to the hospital for a surgical procedure I wore my MI (football/hockey) jacket & I worried about it the entire time. DH said the nurse had hung it up & I remember wanting him to get it & put it in the bag with my shoes & clothes. I kept asking him if he could see it from where he sat. I think it was when I'd had my colonoscopy so I was "out of it" but he kept answering me anyway. I never again wore anything good - I wear gruddy clothes & the worst shoes I have. I cannot believe they misplaced/lost your things. Unbelievable! I hope you continue to feel better. ((hugs)) And I hope they find your clothes.

Samsue ~ I think I bought the first houses in the late 80's. I only bought for about 4 years because the prices kept going up & up & I was finding I couldn't display everything at once & that did it for me. My brother sets up a sheet of plywood 4'x6' or so & has the most beautiful village. He has many, many more than I do, even has two lighthouses & boats along a dock. I sit on the floor in front of it & look at all the people & each house. I always tell him I'd like to live there. But, then, I'd be rather small, wouldn't I?!? I'm glad your RO appt went well & hope your MRI shows sinus troubles or nothing at all.

Corgi09 ~ I'm so sorry you have to be here, but I think you will find this to be a soft place to fall. These sistas are the very best for comfort & imformation. As grannyD says, "If one sista hurts, we all hurt."
