This is a post I wrote on the ladies site. So that I didn't have to type it again as I am tired I copied it to put on here.
Well ladies here I go again. That fecken train which just won't stop. Haven't been feeling so well lately and thought I had a chest and throat infection with layngitis. X-ray today shows a 24mm lung mass with hilar and mediastinal lymphadenopathy. My GP was marvellous considering she has just lost her husband to melanoma. I am waiting for appointment from the specialist and then its a CT scan and broncoscopy. To say I am nervous is an understatement. I am terrified. Would have been five years next month and now won't make it. I feel sick with nerves and also worried on how my Alan will cope with this. Please pray for Alan and my girls, I need all the help I can get at the moment. xxxx

A good news from curly and suddenly a bad one from cocker. So sad. But in life, there's always hope. Almost 5 years is already a feat cocker. hang in there. we will all be praying for you. Collective prayers are powerful, you know that. Even a simple one.
Father God, we pray on behalf of our sister Cocker. Let your healing love and mercy be upon her and her loved ones, now more than ever. Please heal them without delay, from all physical, emotional and spiritual infirmities. This we pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Oh no Annie ! This must be why I've been thinking about you lately. Holding you close in my heart while you gear up for what's ahead. Remember you are strong, Alan and your girls are strong and will support you through this. So will we. Jan

Thank you ladies. If I could stop crying I might find a little bit of fight in me but at the moment there is nothing at all.

Cocker, I so hope that the nodule turns out to be b9. What a kick in the pants to be so close to the 5 year mark and have this come up. Hoping for good results for you. I hate this disease.
Cathytoo, I take vitamin d3 too and my MO checks my vitamin d levels. It is possible to get those levels up with supplements.
Sister, I'm so sorry to hear about you going to stage IV. My heart goes out to you.
Meadow, I loved the story about you getting to be the sub for your GD's class. I bet you loved every minute. She's a cutie!
My hip has been hurting for about three months now. I have an appointment with my sports medicine doc on Monday. I'm hoping he will teel me it's bursitis and give me a shot for it. My next checkup with my MO is in three weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for bursitis or arthritis and not bone mets. I'll check back in after Monday and let you know how things stand.

Cocker - I don't post much. You were diagnosed about a year after me, but I found this site about the same time as you did so I remember all of your posts from the beginning. I know you are terrified right now, but I'm praying that it will be a B9 nodule. Have heard many talk about "things" in their lungs in the past that turned out not to be breast cancer reoccurrence. I feel in my heart that will be the case for you too. Having said that, we all know better then anyone, that the waiting is so ridiculously difficult. You have every right to be sad, scared, mad, etc. I'm sure it's hard to think of nothing but this. Just know, we're all here for you. Even those of us that don't post often. Prayers of peace for you while you wait. Will be watching for updates from you.
Hugs,
Kathy

Cocker, I also don't post much but we all feel your pain and fear. Be strong, we can when we have too! This darn disease is a pest. I just had my first pet scan at three years out and all clear. It sounds like your approaching five yrs. That's great for tn people. I wish you well. Simplelife4real I like the way you personalise everyone. My chemo brain is very active. I need to write people's name on a sticky pad to remember what's what. In defence, having this organization, common goals and interests is healing in its self. Well wishes to all

Dear Cocker, I rarely post, but I have to tell you that you are at the top of my very long prayer list for good news. You are a Rock of this thread - offering your love and support to so many. So many, in return, are offering their prayers, love and virtual hugs to you and your family.
Many of us have been there, with scary biopsies, scans, MRIs, I've had all of those in the last 2+ years. Most all of the time, it turns out OK. This is a result of us all having to be so vigilant in getting symptoms checked out whether or not we would have in the past. You are one of the strongest women posting on this entire website. I have appreciated your posts so much. You too, Simple & Meadow.
((((Hugs))))

Cocker
I am believing with you that it's b9. That this is just a nasty virus or something that has attached itself to your lung and giving you grief.
As you have done for hundreds on here, may you feel the strength, prayers and love that we all are sending YOU!!!!! You have talked many of us down from feelings of fear, helplessness & anxiety!! Youhave rallied this thread to help us remain calm in the storm. May the same words that you used to comfort us come back to comfort you!!!!
You are a blessing and I know everyone on here has your back. Rise up again dear sister!!!!! Put on your boxing gloves and fight like hell!!!!
We love you!!!!!

Cocker,
I will be praying often for you, and echo the sentiments of everyone. You have us all on your side. And similar to what KSteve mentioned, I too have heard of others developing something similar after a prolonged bout with coughing, and where it turned out to be scar tissue from the coughing. Praying for excellent news. Sending much love and hugs your way. ((hugs))
NYCGirl and Nrsteph - Prayers too!

Cocker,
Just look at how many well wishers you have here. I am afraid you might be snatched by one of the American presidential candidates for their campaign. You're so popular! Do it girl, Fight!

I don't post much on here, but I always check in. You all are so loving and supportive. Cocker, you in particular, really lifted me up when I was so depressed following my July bike accident and head injury. I am going to think of nothing but strongly positive thoughts for you. This disease never lets us put our guard down. I'm sorry you have to worry about this while imagining the worst. I will be praying for you and your family. Please know there are a lot of us here who are good listeners if you need a place to vent. xoxo

Hello Cathytoo
I am just popping in to say that I have been reading some of your posts about vitamin D. I saw that you had posted to gimmph on the UK thread so I did put a post to you there about vitamin D a day or so ago.
As another person in their 70s like you, but who looks years younger, I just wanted to say hello as well and wish you all the very best.
Fond thoughts.
Sylvia xxxx
