Luv - My  heart is breaking that you have to endure more radiation.  You have been such a helpful person for me while I have come to terms with my own diagnosis and treatment.  It seems you have passed your thoughtful quality on to your daughter who posted here today.  Blessings to you and your family.  Keeping you close in my heart, my sister.  Jan

Luv - so sorry to hear about the brain mets. Hoping with all my heart that the WBR does its job and blasts those suckers to smithereens. We're all here in cyberspace, with best wishes and warm, gentle hugs.

Lovingmymom: Thanks for keeping in touch. Your mom is very special to all of us here.

    Luv,

I just want you to know that I am thinking of you and sending my best energy your way.  I hope the radiation will blast everyone of those mets.  You are such a wonderful, positive person. I was just telling my daughter the other day about your signature line, "Be kind to one another"- how it really jumped out at me and made me think.

Luv...thinking of you....sending you love and strength and LovingMyMom sending you love and strength. We are all here for you and your mom. Please keep us posted. Your mom is  a dear and we all want her to fight this with all she's got........my cousin in Nova Scotia who is married to a doctor had brain mets and actually had them knocked out by rads and surgery. She is over one year out from the diagnosis and she was told some really bad stats about survival by the end of a year. She went into warrior mode and we are thankful everyday that she was blessed with such successful treatment. Praying yours will be the same Luv.

Inmate I dream but my paintings are my daydreams....pick up a brush, even if you have to use your teeth, and be as abstract as you can be....maybe it will help your dreams return....(I know I am weird).

Special prayers and hugs for LuvRVing, NavyMom and TNBCRuth.  While I haven't been on this thread for long, I am overwhelmed by the caring support from all of you ladies.  I am so very thankful for this support group!

Tookybum  - congrats!!  Just starting my chemo journey.  Get port on Wednesday.

Hoping to get some rest tonight.  Lord help the man from the hospital today who preregistered me for my MRI on Friday!  They got my insurance wrong again for the 4th time and I let him have it.  I probably should call and apologize to him.

Thank you all for your support.  PET is tomorrow with f/u appt with Onc on Monday.  She did say if all is clear she will call and give me the news over the phone instead of coming in for the appt.  I am trying my hardest to just keep moving forward and think positive thoughts.

I am 42, new to the forum. Diagnosed 4 months ago. Mastectomy. Will start chemo in 2 days. AC-T-DD with Neupogen. 1.8cm IDC, 14cm DCIS, 0/6 lymph nodes. 3 children between age 7 to 11 are my motivation to survive.

Planning to do tram flap reconstruction (tunnel under skin) after chemo. Afraid of recurrence at incision line. Does anyone know if this type recon gets in the way of recurrence check up?

    Hi everyone!

I know I'm new to this thread and don't post very often but I want you all to know that I am here for all of you with thoughts and prayers!

Luv and Babs37... My arms are around you both and the rest of your family!

    Navy mom....thinking of you tomorrow.

BernieEllen...as always your sense of humor is just what I needed today! Thank you

I just finished AC Thursday and have had no energy. Today is the first time I stayed home from work but I was such a blubbery mess, there was no way I could work. Does this happen to any of you? I slept and cried all day. Have the chills, took my temp and it was 99.1. I know that's not really a fever. Oh, and Inmate, I had some vivid dreams this afternoon. I hope to be better tomorrow.

Anyways, I hope everyone gets a good night sleep!

    Erin

Dear LUV my heart is so heavy at this crap news.  You have been a rock for us all with your strength,  positivity, humour and heaps of information whenever we have needed it.  Now we are here for you every minute of the day throughout your treatment.  I hope it kicks that cancers butt so hard it won't ever think of coming back.  Sending you and your family love and prayers.

Everyone on here seems to be having troubles lately with chemo (again), tests, results,  pain and worries. I think of you all each and every day and send lots of love and warm gentle hugs to you all. Together we will stay strong and beat this sucker.

I had a letter from the hospital today concerning my abdominal and liver scan which is on the 23rd November exactly  a year to the day of my surgery. Oh boy, here we go again.   Plus I have to have a mammo on my right boob but have been dragging my feet on making the appointment. Guess with all you brave ladies on here I am going to have to pluck up the courage and go for it.   Love to all you courageous ladies.  Annie

Luv - well damn it! I too hoped it was a side effect of the clinical trial drug(s). I'm sending strength and courage so you can fight this f^cking disease. Know that we're all here for you and are surrounding you with love.

Lovin - a special hug for you as you support and love your mom through this. We'll be here for you too.

    I HATE CANCER!
