Thanks AL and Eileen! I'm mentally and physically exhausted. It's crazy how it hits afterward! My stomach has been feeling off ever since I got home. I stressed ate all weekend and I think it's aggravating my IBS. My own fault, I know! I'm also sore. I cried more the last few days than I had in months and I've been cleaning house a lot and stuff. Everything has just hit I guess. I'm thankful the doctor wasn't concerned though! Now I'm going to focus on thinking good thoughts and relax after I eat and clean the kitchen. Going to the Doberman rescue tomorrow should relieve a lot of the stress also. The director of the rescue wants to go see the Magic Mike sequel this week with me so I'm sure that will be a nice distraction. Haha!!

    WooHoo Cocker!!!

Just got off the phone with my sister and she met a TN girl today who has been cancer free for seven years, diagnosed at 22! She is the manager at a place we shop at in TX. She told her to tell me to come in and meet her next time I'm back home. So I plan to do that. She had C Diff too, unfortunately. She said that was the worst part of treatment for her too and the fear of it sticks with her to this day. How crazy is that? It doesn't make sense, but C Diff is scary and crappy. Pun intended!

    Hi Shari

July 7 , next tuesday, I will have re-excision of mx on left to "scrape" any remaining tissue, as I had a close anterior margin. Then I will have a silicon implant on the left. On the right I am having a reduction and lift. Getting anxious, can't wait til its over.

    Hope you're feeling good

Arlene, you'll be in my prayers. May I ask what your margin was? My closest margin was chest wall at 3mm which to me sounds close. I'm going to ask my surgeon about it but she was happy with margins. I will also be having a reduction/lift on good side so understand your fears. I'm told it's not as bad as my diep- hope so! We've been through enough but almost there! Positive thoughts hon!

    shari

My anterior margin (10:00, near skin), was <1mm. A 3 mm margin is great. ASCO Accepts clear ink margins, so as far as ASCO, I am fine, but my BS going in to be safe. You shdnt have any worries with 3 mm. I just don't see how that crap was so close to the surface, and no one could feel it??. I also thought with an mx, I wdnt hav to worry about the margins.

Thank you for your thoughts! Hugs!

YEAH COCKER! (Yes, bad pennies do pop up once in awhile)

Hi to all the new ladies I haven't had the pleasure of meeting. Please know you are in a great group of women that won't steer you wrong.

As you can see my feet are still on the right side of the grass. I have a PET coming up, so we'll see what it shows.

Live is still chaotic. I'm almost at the end of getting this (*)(*&^*( house repaired. (Don't ask, don't even ask. Apparently I have developed a magnet for every defective product that has ever been produced. I have one bathroom in my house and had NOTHING IN IT for almost 6 months. I finally got a toilet after 8 months.) Here's a little life advice from me. If a tree ever falls and goes through your house, set the &*^%^ thing on fire!

I am very grateful today. I have lived long enough to receive a little Karma in my life. My ex husband popped up on my doorstep after 10 years, to apologize. (We've spoken twice in that whole time). Apparently Karma is a woman and she is a real BITCH. I actually feel sorry for the poor guy.

Mom is still in the nursing home, but doing well. My only goal is to outlive her (her doctor says she should have been dead 15 years ago, except that I keep taking good care of her), but at this rate "old woman" (my affectionate term for her, long story) may out last me. I watch her like a hawk and ship her off to the hospital every time she takes a decline. I was outside talking to God last time she was admitted and I ended up laughing like a hyena. I pray every day that God takes her before me so she won't be left alone. As I was talking to God, it struck me that he was up there saying, "I'm trying to answer your prayers BUT YOU'RE NOT HELPING!"

Ladies, if you can give me an update on how you're all doing I'd appreciate it.

    *blows kisses*

This group of ladies and a few devoted husbands looks like a fun place to hang out. I have to say when they told me triple negative, I thought great, no chemo. I actually thought it was a good thing. Needless to say, when I found out what it really meant, it scared me a little. This isn't my first time. Had lumpectomy, chemo, (ACT &H) and rads. 10 years ago. Had really bad lasting chemo brain and neuropathy last time, not to mention ptsd. Apparently this is a new case. This go a round had double masectomy with immediate recon on April 30, my first chemo (TC) on June 19th. The surgery recovery went amazingly smooth. So far worst SE from chemo was bone pain and headache but that only lasted a few days. Might try the In the chair again next Tues. For #2 of 4. I love all my doctors, feel I have been blessed with the best. Grateful for this board for support. Seems like a lot of ladies have been on here a while and that is so encouraging to me. I have a great faith in God and know he has it all under control. Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

Sylvia, thank you so much! That's so nice of you to remember. Unfortunately I had chemo yesterday and am utterly exhausted so no celebrating for me other than being in bed with my iPad! I'm finding this chemo very hard on blood levels and it's accumulative effects are leaving me with a tiredness that isn't relieved by sleep but it's worth it and I only have 4 more to go- that's my celebration!! Oh, and a frozen dinner for hubby and me do I don't have yo cook! Lol
