Still losing-- down a total of 6 pounds from my high of 141 (ACKKK!!). Better yet, my body is loving what I am putting into it-- more fruit and less starch.  Now I go for chemo today so expect it to go up for a few days and then, hopefully drop back down....

    Hugs to all -- Q

Down .5 lbs to 167.5 - I hear you about decimals Mary Louise, but as long as it's going down, I'll take it!

Can't remember what it was last week, so not sure if up or down. 140.5 this morning. I think that might be up .5.

Slept in a bit and forgot in my sleepy fog that today was Wednesday - will have to do a Thursday Weigh In.  Frown  Congrats on all the weight loss everyone!  Mary Louise - hooray for a non-decimal point loss!

Doing very well................Lost only 10lbs in 5 months on WW..........been doing Paul McKenna for just a little over a week, and lost 6 lbs..................WW worked for me at one time, but now that I'm older, and on Meds......forget it.

Feeling good too because I am much more aware of what I am doing now, I guess because of the "power of suggestion", and reprogramming my brain to think differently about food......whatever it is, I can't believe its working...............plus, what a good feeling not to eat till I'm bloated............, now I pay attention to when my stomach is full, which is what I'm told to in the book, and on the CD.............Love the CD, each day I listen to it, I get more, and more motivated.

    Time will tell....................

Down 1.6 probably because of not feeling well last few days.

    Good Luck Ducky

I had my chemo yesterday and somehow threw at least 3 sheet to the wind.  Now sure how it happened but I got hungry in the middle of chemo and there was nothing within what I have been eating so I ate ...whatever and that whatever... turned into another ...whatever... and another whatever.... paid for it all night!   RFLMBO

I know now how much better I feel eating correctly. Today will be a challenge not being seduced by all the things my taste buds got to remember yesterday..... help me!!!!  Q

p.s. afraid to get on scale but I will...

Patoo, hope you are feeling better.  I saw something online where the normal flu season hit later than normal this year. Was is just the flu?

    Good luck to the duck.

Quaatsi, you are doing great.  Most people just worry about keeping their food down during chemo or trying to find something that doesn't taste like mud.

Good news Ducky and congrats to Mary Louise on the big loss.  Feel better Patoo... did you do the 5k ?  I can't remember.  I'm still 168.  Got the book ducky b is talking about have read a couple chapters and listened two nights to the tape.  Haven't seen a real change in amounts I eat yet.  But, I am trying to figure out how hungry I am before I decide to eat which is one of the suggestions and I feel that it's a smart thing for me to do since I am a very emotional eater.

I have completed two weeks on Arimidex.  Been feeling some joint pain but don't know if I can really blame it on the pills.  Anyone else on Arimidex ?  If so, how is it going for you ?

JFV - I just got my script for letrozole (switching from tamoxifen).  Onc PA said there isn't much difference between the letrozole and arimidex.  Did you take tamoxifen?

JFV - Arimidex a few months.  Wicked temperature intolerance for first month.  Skin sag and muscle tone loss obvious (and already had TAH-BSO). Wonder about effect on hair growth (top grows much slower than sides or back, proportion 1:3 or 1:4).

Good news Ducky, yes we all need good news.

Growing greens as organic urban gardener and that's my good news, after 20 years, doing it on a dime.

    Congratulations ducky!

I am nearing the end of my 5 years on Arimidex. Give your body a couple months to adjust and keep moving would be my advice.

I've had company this week so don't dare to get on the scales for a few days. I am sure I had eaten 2,000 calories already by the time breakfast was over with this morning! Bad me!!!!
