natsfan, that's been over the last 10 months.  i lost 10 of it pretty quickly because that was water weight. 14 of it was fat.  so maybe it'd be more accurate to say i've lost 6 pounds. :-)  i hear that herceptin can cause folks to gain weight. plus, the chemo put me into menopause.  it's an uphill battle, but i'd rather do this than gain more weight and have more and more trouble moving around. :-)

gritgirl ~ Thanks for posting that despite the sometimes yo-yo feeling, you are actually shedding chemo weight!  Gives me hope.  I am up a pound today (back to my chemo high of 169 lbs, 3 weeks PFC) and I can definitely use some hope.

Stayed the same, although it was a little lower earlier in the week. The lower number did give me hope.

Found a great app that I'm addicted to called 'my fitness pal' it's really easy to use, logs your daily calories and exercise and it's really getting me motivated.

At the top of my yo-yo weight range, 157.5 to 160.5.  Lunch out yesterday and again today.  I do much better eating at home.

Missed Wednesday, again, accidentally on-purpose.  Was way up due to sweet tooth that lasted several days.  Somewhat better and back down now.  Hope to keep the snacking at bay altho the weekend is not my best time to practice self-control.

I finally picked up a new scale today. It was  time to get out of denial LOL!

Down 1.5 to 160.5.  May is my month to finally break through that barrier into the 150's.  I've been hovering around 161 for 2 months now, and I want a new number to hover around. Like 158 - yeah, I like the sound of that.  Now for portion control, less imbibing, and consistent exercise - I can do this!

I'm actually up a pound.  Thinking of talking about inches on waist and hip instead. Watching a documentary called Hungry for Change about the diet industry.  Hoping to learn a new way of looking at this. Denying myself ain't working. Need to get a new view.  I'm just getting resentful about not having anything that I like. Ugh.

I have just finished treatment and would like to join this group if you'll have me.

I was a couch potato during chemo because of a lot of SEs but after my mastectomies I bounced back some and have started to eat right and exercise.

Since then I've lost 5 of the 40 pounds I need to get to my ideal BMI. Only 35 to go!

Still 132.5. Actually rather relieved after the way I ate this weekend. We went to an open house (the house of my dreams) and they served awesome pizza. Added that to a mexican dinner. Really playing with fire here.

I have so many 'eating activities' between now and the end of school year, that I will be happy if I just don't go UP! Yikes, yikes, yikes!

This is week 0 for me so I'll report back in a week.  Hey BTW my foob weighs 1.5 lbs!  Yes I checked LOL!

I'd like a new set of numbers to hover around, too!  Today I was 159.5.  Would love to hover around 155 and break the 157.5 low.  Imbibing is a problem for me, too.

hi ladies and welcome Peggy!  I've lost 30 lbs in 2+ years and goal is 10 more.  Slow and steady wins the race.  Forgot to weigh in this morning, so guessing I maintained from last week.  Innocent

Hi all.  Welcome Peggy.  This is a great group of non-judgmental sisters here for support.

I don't really know where I'm at but scale says 186.4.  I think it's about where I've stayed the last few weeks.  I'll take it and hopefully my allergies are alleviating and I can get back into some movement.

Welcome PeggySull!  So glad you are joining us!

Down 1 pound to 167.5.   I've got a long ways to go to get back to where I started chemo (155) but I am walking more and eating less. Will get there eventually!

I've been skipping this weigh in lately because I'm dealing with a nasty truncal LE flare and my weight is all over the place. From Monday to Wednesday, I gained 3.7 pounds, so my official Wednesday Weigh in is up 3.7 pounds.  But, I had another treatment with my LE therapist yesterday morning who moved out a lot of fluid and now I'm down those 4 pounds (spent a lot of the last 24 hours heading to the bathroom!).  I'll need some follow up treatments with the LE therapist over the next few weeks.  I hope we can get things stabilized as I really have no idea what my actual weight is now.  Frown

Nats, come anyway if only for the emotional support; we don't really worry (too much) about the weight.  Hang in there.

Up 3 to 163.5 - so much for having a new number to hover around.  I can point to the 2 nights I've been gorging on pasta, and the 2 lemon cream pies I made for the derby party and have been having for dessert AND breakfast.  So, that shocker number this morning is a good wake up call for me to scale things back a bit.

Holding steady at 167.5.  This week, I feel peace and continued optimism because I know that I am walking more and eating in a balanced way and I believe this weight will come off....slowly......slowly.

Up 300 grams from my French holiday. Not bad, but now I have no more excuses. Summer is almost here!

My official Wednesday Weigh In is down 3.7 pounds - that's the same 3.7 pounds I gained last week with my horrible truncal LE flare so I feel a bit better.  Still scheduling additional sessions with the LE therapist - maybe there's a few more LE pounds hiding in there (or maybe it's just belly fat!)  Tongue Out

    Stuck, stuck, stuck. :-(

And going to visit mom and sister for a long weekend. Ugh. :-)

I told them not to feed me, please. Lol.

Dulcigirl, I'm right there 'stuck' with you.   Actually scale shows up from last week.  I've been eating better and exercising and still it's not going down.  Well, at least it's more about health than pounds (or, to feel better, that's what I've convinced myself!)

Well, Patoo, it IS about being healthy, but I would feel healthier if my jeans weren't so tight. And I refuse to buy the next size up!

I'm up a bit from last weigh-in but motivated to fit into my fave pair of jeans.  I can get them on but can't zip them up.  Not even laying on the bed and pulling up the zipper with pliers, the way I did in the late 70's with my super-tight Chic jeans when we were going out disco dancing.  Cool
