Hi everyone, I would like to come as well. Late November or early December is fine by me. No birthdays from 22 November to 13 December. So anytime between these dates, I would love to meet up. Chrissy, I will be driving, if you want to catch a lift mainly due to DVT and lymphodema.

I'll have to give it a miss. I have an excellent excuse to go to NZ for 7th December - uncle's 60th wedding anniversary/family reunion. I was quite excited about it when my cousin called the other night.
0 -
Where are you going Suzie?
0 -
Napier, but will land in Auckland I guess - no firm details yet - just the date. I'm hoping my cousin or uncle will take me with them - don't fancy driving that road again, even though I've done it a few times.

Oh shit, shit, shit!!!! Talked to my eldest DD tonight about arranging a wedding shopping day for her sister and she side swipes me with Oh buy the way mum, I had a mammo and Ultrasound today and Ive got an appointment with the same surgeon who takes care of you next Wednesday. I found two pea sized lumps, side by side in my breast.........SHIT!!!!! I really hate this disease and the fact that my daughters are so at risk because of me.
This same DD had a lump removed about six years ago and the other DD had one removed last year.........I can deal with this shit and all the uncertainty when it comes to me but not my kids!!!
Sorry girls......just needed to get that off my chest so to speak, its been bothering me all night.

Shit is the right word Chrissy. Why didn't they do a biopsy on the spot? I hope it doesn't end up bad news.
0 -
Oh Chrissie, that is not what you want to hear or even experience. Cancer sucks. It is bad enough that you have it. I hope everything is OK with your DD. ((((hugs))))

Oh Chrissy this is awful news, certainly not want you want to hear just prior to Easter or anytime. Hope news is benign. Scary scary stuff! My daughter recently went through this and we did not receive any conclusive results, no lump could be seen on scans other than discharge from nipple. Just watching it at the moment as she is pregnant so I know how you feel.
F.....g disease!
Love Lola.

Angela, I am so sorry to hear this news. I do hope the rads do a wonderful job shrinking the tumor and your walking is not compromised. Sending you a big hug, but please drop in on the odd occasion to let us know how you are if you are up to it.
Chrissy I so hope your daughters lumps are benign. Such a worry for you all, this stinking disease just doesn't give us a break, and happens to the most beautiful souls. I am not up to replying to everyone at the moment but am thinking of you. Love Gail0 -
Morning all.
Chrissy big big hugs for you and DD. Will be waiting to hear any news. Extra hugs for you, Angela, Australia and anyone who needs one.
Have a restful weekend, have already started on the Hot Cross buns, yummy, but I haven't gone to church as I am really wheezy.

Hi Girls, some good news for us, the cat i have put up now in profile pic has returned home after been gone for 6 weeks, i had almost given him up for never seeing him again, but he jumped thru the window and straight to the food plate and it was empty and i got that, where is the grub mum look. no hello, nice to see you, he used to lay on the floor and love his tummy rubbed, just typical like kids, grub first, and out he went, am pleased to see him, he is still the same weight and i think that somebody is taking care of him, TWO TIMER, they say we are servants to the feline community and i think we are indeed. But i I love em all.

Hi Angela, I'm really sorry to read about your cancer's progression. I hope there are still treatments that will cause the cancer to shrink and allow you to get mobile and out of hospital.
I hope you don't think this is a naive suggestion but could there be merit in getting other opinions on your options now?
I completely understand you may not feel like posting.
I will be thinking of you and praying for regression and a miracle.0 -
Chrissy that is really crappy. I hope you can relax over Easter. Sending hugs to your family.
Lola, more hugs to your daughter and wishing you good thoughts.
I had a surprise visit from DD and GS for the night. It was lovely, with lots of cuddles. There is a photo on my FB of GS and my DS's matching cast on his broken leg.
Happy Easter to you all. xx

Angela, devastated to hear of your progression and am hoping that radiation reduces the tumour and allows you to get some quality of life back. Ive loved "meeting" you here and my thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the future.
Chrissy so sorry to hear about your daughter, I will be praying for nice benign fibroedenoma's. I do think your daughters are some of the luckiest in the world though. a/ they have you as their mum and b/ because of your dx, any concerns they have are taken seriously by the medical professionals and they and you know to keep pressing till a definative answer is found. Im on tenterhooks till we get the hopefully good news that theres nothing to worry about.
Ladies, I hope your all having a wonderful easter break regardless of religion. I pulled all my family together at the last minute this morning and cooked them all a roast pork, roast beef, roast ham and all the trimmings lunch. I had initially intended it to be a smorgesborg for just my mum and I when I bought everything yesterday, but when I realised that my sisters family are all going away tomorrow, I increased the vegies and organised it. So proud I came up with a wonderful meal for 7 ( I refuse to acknowledge my mother saying that I had rung her in a panic asking how many spuds to roast for 7 lmao) A nice glass of wine and a couple of hours talk and Im feeling refreshed with family love.
Work finally picked up on Wednesday, now I just need it to stay busyish so I can catch up on bills. Feeling more hopefuly now though. Fingers crossed people stay in the spending mode for a while.

Happy easter to you Linda, sounds a wonderful spread you put on, wow, bet it was yummy as well.
Chrissy, i hope your mouth is feeling much better, i have been awake all night, shoving pain killers doen my throat, i am going to dentist, have a bad tooth, they going to whip it out, oh this is murder, and i know how you feel with yr mouth so sore. i think i have an infection there or ulcer or something as the tooth is down the bottom on left side and its veru sore down there, had soft bread and butter for brecky as i have too many pain killers i think and need some food, nurofen not good on empty tummy, i hate going to the dentist, but today i can't wait, it will be a relief, i am a whimp when it comes to the dentist, hopefully this will be a relief. Usually i hold on to the chair, like i am ready to disembark very quickly, but today he can do the job, anything better than suffering with a sore mouth, aye Chrissy/

Thanks for asking about my mouth Annette. It is beginning to heal as the pain is beginning to lesson......thank goodness! Oh yeah girl, I hear you on the not so good side of a sore mouth and the fears of going to the dentist. Hope he can do good things for you and relieve your pain some what.
Linda that impromptu lunch sounds lovely! So glad it went off really well for you. Good to hear that business may be picking up for you.......it's about time as I know it's been a bit rough for you.
Hoping you are all having a lovely relaxing Easter weekend.
Love n hugs. Chrissy0 -
Midnight, how wonderful your Moggie came home , that's wonderful. We would really love another kitten or puppy but lost 3 cats from being hit by cars and I can't deal with losing them anymore, but my son would love one. I knohw how you feel about the dentist . in order to have Zometta all my teeth had to be done which turned out 10 fillings/4 teeth ou and 2 root canals! it nearly sent me mental, i was a wreck! Linda, the sharing of a meal with a loving family is a wonderful occasion. Love Gail

Hi girls, went to Dentist, i have an abcess around the tooth area and he was doing something with it, but can not take it out as i have to have antibiotics, so its coming out wed, he said, by tomorrow morning , the pain should of lessened with the antibiotic, but boy it is very sore, even given me a swollen cheek, man it is tender. i would of hoped for an injection, esp when he was prodding at it, it was very sore, so i am feeling really crap. flaming teeth. will catch you later. going to lay down.

Oh Annette, I'm so sorry to heat that you have an abscess.......they are soooo painfull but the Dentist is right, the pain will subside quickly now you are on the antibiotics.

Oh Chrissy - I hated reading your news, I'm praying with everyone else that it's benign (((((hugs)))) but Linda is right (as always lol) your daughters are so lucky to have you as a mum. You are defenitely not going to go down the blame road! Do you hear me girl??!!!
Linda - lovely to hear from you - your lunch has made me hungry lol. Good to hear business is picking up - I hope it stays that way for you xoxo
Annette - sorry to hear about your tooth - I can sympathise, I get abcessed teeth too often. They are just about the most painful thing there is, but the dentist is right, once the antibiotics kick in the pain will go down. They can't take the tooth out while it's infected, so hopefully by Wednesday it will have settled down and you can have it out. Ask your dentist for gas! I love the gas at the dentist, you just drift away and hardly feel a thing, it's wonderful :-)
Hope everyone else is having a lovely Easter, mine is pretty quiet, my DH is performing at the Canberra Folk Festival, so I'm catching up on processing images lol - that seems to be my life at the moment. I still have this cold, but it's not too bad, just a runny nose and sore chest - I've had lots worse. Mind you I'm not up to starting the packing yet.
Love to you all
Trish

Hello Girls, hope everyone is ok, i am fair to middling, the abcess is getting less painful, but my throat is sore and all the jaw and its been murder, still there tho and i am feeling quite fevourish,, the dentist nurse just rung me and they wanting to know how i am doing today, the said to just keep pushing the ABs, making sure i get three in today again and the pain relief. he gave me panadine and codine, its a combo of both, he said, not to take paracetomol as well, the panandine should hold the pain back and keep off the nurofen, bad for people with digestive issues, i find they work with things, but the panandine is ok and helping alot. Bil wanted me to do his laundry today, as i usually do it sunday, but Ron said, na she not doing that today and then we find its not open anyway, so that took care of that. lol. he knows i got this issue with the abcess, hubby not feeling well either. vommited in the night, something didn't sit right with his tummy and he still feels yuk. so none of us are robust today, so anyone who wants us to do things for them can get stuffed, excuse the term. won't be a happening thing. Also the Dentist said, today. well the nurse that rang as a request from dentist, because my iron is down, my imune system is compromised and therefore making my situation alot worse and about time they got on to it and sorted as i was telling them all about things, well hubby was as i could not talk much with my mouth so sore.
I hope everybody is doing ok and Ang, i am thinkin of you and karen and trish how is your cold? Chrissy and all my friends i have got to know and love, hope you are having a good easter.

Hi girls! Not quite so pissed off today but cant wait till Wednesday to hopefully get some answers. I can imagine how my DD is feeling as the waiting room is no joke. She told me she had a word to the boys to explain to them why she had been yelling at them all week and they both teared up. I feel so bad for them, poor loves.........i'm so hoping that its benign and she can start to relax a little and the boys can get on with their schooling without this sitting in the back of their minds as well.
Was checking FB yesterday and future SIL posted that after his surgery on Thursday, he passed out on Friday in his bathroom and bached his head on the bathtub and ended up having a siezure and then back in hospital. He's okay but so traumatizing for both him and DD.......she can be a bit of a panic merchant but luckily his parentd live five minutes away from them so she rang them and before she was off the phone his dad had was on the doorstep. It just seems that everything is hapening at once........
Feel better girls who are under the weather and hope you are all having a relaxing four day weekend.
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Hi all
Chrissy I hope that everything works out well for your daughter. Midnight I lnow how you feel as I've had lots of tooth trouble over the years, it's horrible and costs a fortune too !!!
Well I've just had a migrane for the last 3 days, got it Thursday night and only about 2 hours ago it went away. So I've done nothing but lay on the lounge for 3 days, didn't even see family for Easter. It seems that lots of us haven't been all that well lately or are having bad luck in our lives, hopefully soon things will get back to normal for us all.

Good morning Girls, hope everybody having a good easter monday so far, yours or ,most of you will be just beginning, we half way thru morning. we were supposed to be shearing the alpaccas today, but it has been raining on and off which is not good if their coat is wet, so has been posponed til next weekend. i can't say i am not glad, they are, as i am not robust yet from my abcess and tooth problems and really was not looking forward to it. Plus i am going to ring up job search and advertise for a student who is used to animals and handling, ie experienced to help us over next weekend, so i dont have to do so much of the heavy stuff. Hubby still not very happy either, has a bad head, but i think he has been worrying about how we were going to handle things and now he has just said, his tummy not good, alot of tummy bugs around too aparently. so our easter has been quiet and painful.
I do hope you other girls are ok, Chrissy, Trish and hope yr Miagrain stays away Gail, not much fun for you either, Painful those things, take it easy.
Have a good day Ladies.
