    Hi girls......

Chrissy....love all the photos, your talents are endless.

Annette....I too have heard of the cold caps but also there was something I heard that was not so good about them....can't remember what....lol. Chemo brain strikes again..

Linda....congrats on your 5 years. That is just fabulous news & I bet you can't wait to celebrate with the other girls in Sydney.

I spoke with Kate a couple of days ago....she is sounding very strong & seems to be coping with the huge adjustment in her life! She is a trooper....

No 1 daughter (no 3 child!!!) moved into her new house today. It's the first house she has bought & she is so happy & excited! It's a joy to see her so happy & the house is lovely. She was up at 4.00 am & went over & started unpacking boxes in the kitchen....lol

Hubby & I are off to Hayman Island tomorrow.....very much looking forward to it. Just the 2 of us & lots of sun, sand & champagne!!

Have a great weekend lovely ladies.

    (((Hugs)))

Karen You are by now enjoying the sunshine and beaches of Hayman Island! Have fun!!!

Wow Kylie! The weather patterns sure are up to putt all over Aus......no storms here but really unusual weather for this time of year. Hope there wasn't too much damage done to your undercover area and back room!

Trish, how did the visit to the new doc go? What did he say regarding your pain?

Kate if you are reading but just staying quiet....understandable but I just want to say don't forget you are not alone.......anything that worries you just let fly we are all big girls here. I so wish you could come to the get together as I know it would be so good for you.

Well time to go make me some tea, DH has gone out and i'm getting hungry.......think I'll have to raid the fridge......lol.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend all!

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

    Hi all

I went to the hospital today and met my new Surgeon, he's very nice. He said that the expander had moved, I had thought just lately that it felt different. He said he'd do something so that the implant didn't move.

I have to be at the hospital at 7am which is good as I'll be first on the list and will get it over with.

I hope the weather improves for all of you going to Sydney.

Yay Aussie! Not long now and you'll be looking good again!.....so excited for you. I'm glad you like your new surgeon and equally glad that you get the early slot in theatre.......as you say, get it over and done with no waiting.

Well, I'm finally home again! What a day!! Talk about busy, I'm so glad I decided to drive home rather than stay overnight as DH rang just as I was leaving the worst of the city traffic behind to tell me he had a dose of food poisoning! The only thing that it could have come from is some smoked salmon.........it was still in the sealed package but obviously it was not good.......poor darling said he was going both ends........he is finally asleep so hopefully he will be a lot better in the morning.

My doc is sending me to an ENT as I'm still deaf and my ears are clear.......not even any wax build up to blame. My appointment is the Friday after I get back from Sydney and the day after my birthday.........it's looking like a full on busy December yet again......sigh......they say there is no rest for the wicked, well all I can say is, I must be very, very wicked.......lol.

Can't wait until next week Friday when we all arrive in Sydney! Woohoo!

I have just realized that I haven't slept for almost thirty six hours so I'd best go take a pill and try to sleep now. Take car all!

Aussie - it's so good to be first on the list :-) Good luck!

Chrissy - your poor DH, food poisoning! That's the pits. Give him a hug from me, and I hope he starts feeling better soon.

So Chrissy - are we all going to have to shout at you all weekend? I hope they end up finding something simple and fixable for you xoxo

lol girls i am getting excited for you too and  i aint even going. i really hope its the best weekend for you all. i am excited also  for other reasons and that is the final weekend for the trucks, all over nov 29th, out comes the champayne.

Hubby and Bil get a letter yesterday  from the company manager saying that they are are going to withhold our final pay of those runs as there is a truck over in New Plymouth that  is in parts that we are selling, he seen it in a mag  called deals on wheels and unless the company logo is taken off that truck, they will hold our  final pay,  well that truck  has been on sale for over a year, its not ours and we think that he is putting two and two together and getting 100, that it  is our one that rolled. that truck  is also back in operation and all the trucks are doing the runs still every day. What an idiot. Ron went to tell him this morning, about it and he completely ignored him, picked up the phone as ron was talking to him and then when he tried to continue, the dick head walked right past him ignoring him completely, so  ron just left depo.he said,  i can't be  bothered with his silly shit and roll on next week and if they withhold the money, he will be hearing from our solictor. that will fix him.  One  of the other owner drivers happen to be talking one day that he has made  two hundred dollars over the minnium and that drip walks past and said,  i guess that may justify the excuse for you being, here, firstly he was butting into a conversation and secondly what a horrible thing to say. nobody is happy  there and  one of our drivers says , he has never worked in a place that is so agro, comes from the top. i will shut up now.

    summer is approaching..
very good for u Ausy, being first in. hope all goes well.

Chrissy, i hope hubby is better today, poor thing.

trish , hope all goes well for you.

Hubby would like to add these two to our pet collection, and put a n otice on the gate, never mind about the dogs, BEWARE OF THE CATS. lol  i do worry about him at times. he loves tigers.  i said they grow up you know, don't stay cute like this. and they dangerous and you would not be allowed them here, so dream on.

Annette,I'm with you hubby on the tiger thing, and I laughed my head of at the sign he would put on the gate........love it!!!

Sounds like you are going to be so much better of without that dickhead..........and don't worry over anything, as what goes round sure does come round and the comes round is usually ten times worse.......he is in line for that come round.

DH must be feeling okay this morning, or at least better as he was gone when I finally woke up. I've got to get my clothes on and go pick up my pics from the framer and then drop them off at the gallery so Ill be back later.

lol, when we do the job interviews. and i talk  to them on phone and then get to meet them, i am sometimes quite surprised at how they look, not because i  think they look hidious, but inmagined them to be something different. mind you i  used to have this major crush on this Radio annoucer, his voice was so smooth and yummy, when i got to meet him, um yuk, but he was a really lovely man, very people oreintated and charming and we were good freinds till he left and went to Hong Kong and lost touch. John Cameron his name was, mad on Rugby. his voice was a turn on. those were the days. so people are quite different to what you can imagine them to be.  i am now a fifty two year old, who was lucky to reach one  year old. I would love to meet you  all, probably be abit self consious right now as i am not  a small person. i am loosing it now though. any way catch you later.

Annette I don't think any of us are as we would like to be and all carrying a few too many pounds but we are who we are no matter what the outside looks like. My weight fluctuates even though I don't change anything in the way of food intake etc but I do know the worst thing that makes me put on weight is gluten but eating totally gluten free all the time is just a real pain in the proverbial. Hence the fluctuations......lol. I try to keep it within a kilo up or down but now the warmer weather is here I will get stuck into eating a little cleaner and hopefully, though not probably, loose a little more over the summer months.......we'll see.

    Yeah Trish, any news?

well this new dr is a sweetie, and I love her. She's given me so many pieces of paper, I'll have to sit down and work them all out again. She says that to have pain for this long, there's something wrong, and I have to do a lot of tests unfortunately. Firstly another blood test, her reaction to the low iron was - well it looks like it's been low for a while, if it's a mistake, then do it again!!!

So, a full blood test, another u/s, a ct scan. Urine and poo test, then if ct scan doesn't pick anything up another colonoscopy. Hen back to see her and decide what's next. She certainly doesn't think we just sit back and see.

So an expensive time coming up :-( but at least something's now being done.

Wow! She sure is being thorough! and that, by the way, is a very good thing. Yes pain for that long is an indicator that something is definitely wrong and needs to be dealt with.......that other doc needs to retire me thinks as he is no longer doing his job and caring for his patients!

I'm just glad, even though it will be hard on the purse, that you will finally get to the bottom of it all.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Trish, glad things are getting under way for you and that the new Doc can get the ball rolling and find the cause and the solution to getting rid of it, you can live more comfortably.

chrissy, weight has always been  an issue with image with my family, now its changed to been a health issue and alot more understanding and less critisising( excuse the spelling} but i still get self consious when around them. can't seem to help myself. I have started using coconut oil. i use it ro cook with, use it as butter, it is colestreol and gluten free and apparently good for diabetes.  no sugar in it and alzimers. it is nice on vogel toast or brown bread toast and i have vegemite. it is white and as i said, i use to cook, like fry or as a spread.

Yes, coconut oil is very good for you as are coconut milk and coconut cream........they are good fats that benefit our bodies just as olive oil and avocado are. I like to get some crusty bread rolls.....home made and gluten free......and use the olive oil mixed with a little balsamic vinegar as a dipping sauce....yummm!
