Tammy - when Kate pulled out I thought Kylie would be able to take a spare bed with us and you'd be able to have your "privacy" lol - problem was, I forgot to tell you ... I forget a lot of things these days lol.

lol  Delvsy, you  two look  gorgeous, Happy Birthday for last week and don't mind us but that desert looks very inviting. and our tummys on here are always on alert, speaking for myself of cause lol , when good looking dishes stare at us. when chrissy tells what she cooks sometimes, i get like a dog and start to drool lol. she makes me hungry and we  seem to get around  the food subject alot. so please forgive us for coveting over your deserts. they look YUMMY. Great Photo, you did real good, we will trrn this site into a photo gallery, everyone is learning  to put photos up and its cool..

You never guess what girls, i was doing my laundry yesterday and  my phone rang and i saw Tony was ringing(Driver) OMG, this is bad news, he only rings me when he is sick. Oh please don;t tell us you are sick on the last week,   yep, he in the Hospital with suspected apendicts or kidney stones and would be  NOT be working monday.  so after delivering the bad news to hubby, i finished my laundry  and shot home and rang  an agency for  truck drivers and lucky they got somebody and Hubby is training a women for the week today and the agency temp is doing  the other run.  so i do not know how long he will be off this week, with kidney stones, and i feel bad for him as its painful, i know that, but his timing is shit. this lady seems to be  ok, i told  him to let  her  drive the truck and he will see how confident she is  driving it as she may be by herself tomorrow. Oh  dear, i  have a head ache. i did not go to gym today, headache and i will have to go by taxi and its too expensive,30 bucks, there and back. so i staying home today. never mind, sorry to be always moaning about  it to you.  well i better  go and have a drink, not so hot today, thanks goodness.  cheers.

What is  High Tea please -i was reading bout the high tea.

Got a text from our normal driver and he will be back tomorow, the kidney stones have passed thru, they gave him a heap of medication to help disolve them. but keeping the agency on hand incase of more problems this week and we have to rely on their service again.

Karen I'm sorry you aren't well, I hope you start feeling better soon and our onc has some answers for you. Never mind that you can't join us, we know you'll be with us in spirit and we'll post pics. Get better soon girl ((((hugs))))

Tammy you won't need to share, Kylie has had to pull out too, we'll miss her too.

Have been for my u/s and ct scan, but don't see the dr till Tuesday next week, so no answers yet. U/s was very uncomfortable again though, and I had a learner try to put a cannula in for the ct, and she went straight through the vein. Poor girl, she had blood everywhere - the experienced lady then took over and got another vein ok.

    So now wait again ...

Oh dang Karen! We'll miss you but being sick again is not good. Hope the anti B's do their work quickly and you get some answers from your onc when you see him. You will be with us in spirit.

Good heavens Trish! A learner and straight through the vein?! OMG!! It's bad enough that you need to have the CT but then to have a learner mess it up is not a good thing. Hopefully you will get some answers when you see your doc next week........and it's about time too!

Can't wait till Friday!!!! Miranda and I will wait for Aly and then head into the unit. Not sure yet if we'll do cab or train so will decide on the day and Trish, I'll ring you and let you know. Are we planning to go anywhere where there is a dress code? If not I'll just be bringing jeans and tops for comfort.......lol........can't tell I'm a country hick can you?!.......lol.

    Love n hugs all! Chrissy

    Hi all

I've had my implant surgery, it nearly got cancelled again 5 minutes before going in as the Doctor didn't have some extra stuff he was going to put in, I told him just do it !!!

I was very sick again last night but this morning actually had some breakfast and lunch and tea tonight.

My heart rate has been up and they did a heart test, this happened last time, it's not as bad now.

I have gone for a few walks but the drain is pulling so quite uncomfortable.

I should be out tomorrow which will be good. I will let you all know.

    Best wishes

Yay Aussie!!! So good to hear from you and hear that all is done and now it's more a matter of healing. Good to hear that you are eating all be it small.......nutrition is important for healing well so hope the appetite returns with gusto soon.

Wow, what was that doc wanting that he would have put off your surgery again! I'm so happy for you that you insisted in going ahead with it all.

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Yay Mel - keeping everything crossed for you.

Aussie great to hear from you, I know what you mean about the drains, for me they were the worst part of the whole mx. Sending you healing wishes SillyHeart

Chrissy - jeans and tops will be just fine. Phillip's Foote is casual and we are on holidays! I'm not taking anything dressy. It looks like the weather in Sydney will be cooler, which is great, sometimes it can be almost like Brissy at this time of year, hot and humid.

    Getting closer lol.

Midnight, we are actually going for elevens so not sure why they are calling it high tea probably because it is going to be fancy. You have savouries, sandwiches and yummy little cakes. High tea is something you have late afternoon about four or five and it was with the children who would then be sent off up to the Nursery. You would have supper or dinner later and it is the reason we in this part of the world often call our evening meal tea. The term High Tea has come to mean a very elaborate morning or afternoon tea in Aus and here.

    Hi all

Guess what?? It's Saturday night and I'm still in hospital!!!

It's the same as before, the Doctors won't let me out until my drain is 25ml, it's been 40ml for a few days then today 32ml but they still won't let me out.

Not many patients here tonight as it's a surgical ward and no surgery over weekend as this hospital has no emergency department. Although I'm sure down in the Maternity ward things are a bit different.

Hope all you girls in Sydney are having a great time, glad I didn't book to go as this is where I've ended up!!!
