    We are in Pigeon Forge, TN.  Going to Dollywood today.  How fun is that??!!  Having a great time on our camping trip.

    Linda, thinking of you this morning and hope you had a restful night. I want you to know how much your posts mean to me. You really do have a wonderful way with words, and it's always been such a gift to read your perspective on this whole process. I know many woman are able to go into hospice for a period of time and come back out. For my own selfish reasons, I'm hoping that is the case for you. I  miss seeing you here and I hope you know how much you are loved by all of us. Every night before I go to bed I belt down an imaginary drink with you by the fire. It would be so nice if we could all do that together someday.

    i am thinking of all of you, and hoping the day was good. i just made up my mind that i was going to go swimming, and so i did! it was sooo refreshing! it was a public pool and the water was sparkling! been meaning to go there for 15 years! lovely!

    Kath,,,,swimming is the best exercise....and so refreshing...I used to love to swim now I don't even own a swimsuit....I may look good in clothes but beyond that NO

    Good Morning Goddesses,  We are in Pigeon Forge, TN.  Went to Dollywood yesterday and had a great time.  Today is different though.  It has decided to rain.  We were going to play golf but that is not going to happen.  We are basically stuck inside.  Rain and pop up campers sometimes do not get along well.  We are heading out tomorrow or maybe later today depending on the rain forecast.  Up until now, we have had good weather and it looks like we are in the rain for a few days.  Heading to the panhandle of FL next for a few days and then home.

    Good Morning Goddesses!

    I finally got my new laptop up and
    running!! I used to love doing stuff like that....not so much anymore.
    You don't realize how much stuff you have on your laptop until you have
    to reload it all. What a headache!!

    Badger, It was so wonderful
    meeting Kathe. She is one of the kindest souls....with a great sense of
    humor. I was honored I got to spend that time with her! I've got
    pictures on my phone I will post. I just have to get them on to my
    computer. That smart phone doesn't make me feel so SMART, and I don't
    like using it. I have a regular OLD phone for texting. lol

    Many of
    the women that visited from BCO this summer are coming back next year. I
    will be hosting a big Italian feast at my house. It would be so GREAT
    if you could all come!!! Alyson, I hope you have plans to come to the
    States again!! If so, maybe next June???? Ducky and Kracker - because
    Kracker doesn't fly, maybe a train ride????? Jo, you can just drive on
    over in that fancy camper of yours!! LOL - See, I've got it ALL figured out. Kathe is close enough that
    she can just drive. GG - not sure if you travel to CA???? Linda, take a rest in hospice for awhile, and then break out next year for a trip to CA!! Everyone's
    welcome!! It would be so much fun!!!!.............A girl can dream, can't she????? Instead of talking about a trip, we should make it a  REALITY!!!!

    I've got a birthday party to go to today....so, I've got to go shopping. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!! I'll be planning my menu.... :)

    beppy is the one who is spectaculishious!  if she wasn't there with me that day, i am afraid i really might've knocked heads together. she saw me cry, simply out of frustration, and did not point and laugh! i could tell by the look on her face that she could have fixed it all up, if she could have, but her mere presence was enough to keep me from becoming a murderer. i really didn't need to be told the same answer i got last time, and the time before that. i guess i wish there was a place i could go, where i could spend more time, really just asking questions. But it was funny. i don't know how many of us gals here have gotten together with one another, but there is a strange chemistry, where you feel as if you are meeting up with a friend again, that you haven't seen for a long time, amazing. And i directly attribute that to the quality of Miss B's apparent caring. Hey, i was gonna say, i just don't take my shirt off for just any one, but uh oh, i guess i really do!! I think we shall have to research the geographical center, or something, i want to see ducky and jo and 'krackers' and alysons' face too. hugs all 'round...

    LOL Kathe.....I've got a secret for you......I DIDN'T LOOK!!! So, you don't have to feel so EXPOSED!!

    Also, can you believe that my ultra sound results were negative???? I'm happy for the results of course, but I'm still baffled about the pain, lumps, and loss of range of motion under my arm. I promised myself not to go to "Crazy Town" with this one though. I'm done checking for lumps!!!

    me too.. i just wonder how many women this actually happens to? is there anything we can do ourselves, to unknot them, or getting them to calm down? i have tried rest, and i have tried activity. i guess it just is what it is! What! you didn't look?!? oh, man! you missed my fabulous display of musculature?! heh heh

    We arrived in FL just before noon and before the damn rain.  Haven't seen sunshine since Thurs.  Got the camper set up and cleaned before the rain came so that is a good thing.  We should be here until around Thurs and then we will be heading home!!!

    We are going to meet in California????  When?  Where?  I have missed so much since being on the road.  Unfortunately, we can't make any more trips this year.  August is full of dr appts and Sept we go on our cruise.  I have to go back to work in Nov.  Have lots to do at home.

    My name is Virginia and I am a lurker! I stumbled across this feed after I found The Way We Were. I've been following your antics for a week or so. You clearly know each other well and care about each other very much. Your support and love of each other is really beautiful. I was content just to lurk but then you started talking about food, Italian food at that, and I couldn't stand it. I wondered if you welcomed new sisters? If so, what is the Initiation like?? I have something of a weak stomach!
