Hi Lucy.....thanks for asking...........they picked her up yesterday.............she did good last ngiht......spoke to my daughter this morning............they have to get her Meds right......into a level that will stop the seizures.....maybe not forever........that could possibly never happen, but at least to make them less frequent..........Nikki spoke to the Neurologist this morning, and he gve her new instructions and dose levels...........its a try, then wait and see..........her longest without a seizure is 1 months......she did 23 days this time....but then had 5 in a row.........not good..

I knew you were the Pacific ocean......so its colder then the Atlantic......I didn't know that..........and I too love the beach.......I could sit all day and just watch the waves rolling in........it is so peaceful.......nothing like watching water ebb and flow.....

With teenagers in the house, I want a new dog so someone will be happy to see me when I come home. My hubby says NO! He doesn't want anyone else, human or animal, to take care of. My boys pointed out that if I brought a dog home from the shelter, my DH wouldn't make me get rid of it. Hummmmm

Got my ultrasound results, which state the anomaly found on the mammo is a cyst and nothing to be concerned about. Happy for some good news!

High school graduation is on June 8rh, and I'm still waiting to see if my son will graduate. That kid!

Poppy I would love to have a dog, but my kids tell me "Mom the damn dog might out live you,".............LOL...........said they will take me in when I can't take care of myself...........but the dog will have to go.............

Now you know that's a lie cause most of them have dogs..............

Get the dog....only thing that loves you uncoditionally.............and asks for nothing in return........lo

    Poppy,

My son's hs graduation was two weeks ago and I am still waiting to see if he is gong to graduate!  he has an online class he is dragging his feet on.  Everything else is more important and her name is................fill in the blank.

I say get a dog.....................My dog of 12 years, a loyal cow dog (queensland heeler) died right in the middle of chemo last fall.  He picked up his Frisbee, I threw it a couple of times, he retrieved it with his same fanatical enthusiasim and about 5 minutes later stumbled, layed down and died.  it was so sad, but so him  - he played until the very last second, never complained, he would of gone into a fire with me if need be.

Get a dog........no one, no thing will every love you, not judge you, give you a reason to live more than a dog.  Maybe get a dog a few years old.  visit a few times at the shelter to make sure your a love match.  It is a lot like dating.

Animals are the best, they don't care if you live in a dump or a mansion.  They don't care if they have a diamond collar or a piece of twince.  they just live without abandon, and hold no bad feelings ever.  They are God's ultimate animal.

I think my hubby wants to wait until our old lady dog passes away. She has less than a year according to the vet.

Someone said Firekracker was sticking to facebook lately. I do miss her.

Thanks Lucy...........thee 3D does take longer......probably worth the extra squish if it picks up problems better then the "digital" which is what the had..........

My hospital is a reginal cancer center for Fox Chase Cancer Center in Phila. so they get all the newest stuff.

The newer machine takes a picture of your breast first, and then the girl comes back and puts you in the same spot again, but then there is another gadget she pulls into position, and it actually gradually moved in sequence from the top of the breast to the bottom....so all I kept saying was .....ow, ow, ow, ow,.....but all in all not bad........LOL

Thanks for info on how the 3D mammo happens.

Found out today that my son will not be graduating high school. He failed one semester of economics, which is a required course. He is upset, which I hope doesn't make his depression worse. He isn't ready to talk about his options, but summer school is available to catch him up so he can attend community college in fall.

Thanks, Blondie. He had opportunities but ultimately he had to do the work.... which he didn't. Today my DH took him to sign up for summer school. Our son seems to be less upset today, so that's a good thing.
