Tossing in some anxiety today. Went to check out a lump yesterday, thought all I was going for was to have the NP check me, but got squished, re-squished, and then had ultrasound, and 4 hours later the radiologist finally said "nothing new compared to previous" so I don't have to do anything that involves a procedure this week! Yippee, and good-bye to the stress! I guess this is the "new normal" that I will need to recognize, which is just fine by me.

Linda - Congrats on B9 results.  Yes, our "new normal" can be riddled with anxiety every once in a while and we will always get through it somehow.

Throwing in this weird feeling I have had the past two days....heart related? fatigue? no idea.....but weepy as all hell (shades of my PMS day) and just feeling 'off' and super tired...not sure if I am over doing it or if these are symptoms of medication or further problems....I am SOOOOO TIRED OF THIS SH*T!!! Just needed to say that to someone. BURN burn burn!!!

I saw something on my way home that I have just GOT to toss into the bonfire! I could hardly believe my eyes!

On the lawn in front of a local Italian restaurant was a huge... and I mean HUGE, this thing must be at least 10 ft tall!!! ... pink BC ribbon. I nearly had a car accident when I saw it. It was right next to another sign advertising some kind of dinner special but to be honest that huge ribbon (must be some kind of wood) utterly blew my mind and all I could notice was that. I have NEVER in my life seen a BC ribbon object that big.

I do have a cameraphone but have no clue how to get any images from the phone to anywhere else (it's not a "smart phone", just an old plain vanilla type dinosaur that just does the only thing I want it to do: get and receive calls, LOL), otherwise I would take a picture. But then again I have no idea how I'd post it, so a moot point. I don't do Facebook or any other social media sites.

Btw, this restaurant is the kind that often has dinner shows etc... so I shudder to think what "attraction" the big 10ft tall BC ribbon is supposed to be advertising. If I can bring myself to look at the place more closely later this week without grabbing the nearest paintball gun and blasting the mega-ribbon to smithereens, there might be a clue.

OMG are they going to leave that monstrosity up until the end of October??? Terrifying thought.

    Burn baby burn!!!

firebird - OMG - just the thought of something that big will give me nightmares.  Yup!  Into the fire it goes and it should burn for a long time.

You all remember how much I complained until I had my shoulder surgery... Well, I am truly feeling so much better. But if I don't do my PT EVERY.SINGLE.DAY... I get so stiff and it interrupts my sleep. I know I have to strengthen my shoulder muscles, but I am just sick and tired of all this PT, exercises...to keep my sciatica and cancer at bay.... And you know what else... I can't stand all of these doctor visits. If I walk into one more office and some one asks me how I feel, I am walking out of there. Can't they just say,"Hello?" when the doctor comes in, I will tell him how I feel. Oh. The heat is getting to me. Throwing the stiffness and all the other stuff into the fire..... From, far, far away!!! Time for lemonade! Now I feel better. Thanks Jo!

voraciousreader - I know the feeling of one doctor visit after another and having to repeatedly asked the question "How are you feeling?"  I agree - Hello would do much better.

    Sending big hugs my friend.

Driving home from work last week, I passed a girl who was texting and smoking a cig while allegedly driving.  She was not minding the road.  I don't think she even noticed me passing her (on the right... she was in the left hand lane), so I know she totally missed the dirty look I gave her.  What a waste of a withering glance.

I wish I had a gizmo that would jam people's cell phones, that would wake 'em the hell up.

Into the fire with people who endanger themselves and others when they drive! Yell

badger - AMEN to that sister.  Where I live you take your life in your hands by getting behind the wheel and driving - seems everyone drives and talks on the cell or is texting.

Ducky.... You just beat me to post on this thread about a nuisance neighbor's dog! I will take the dog! The dog doesn't know better because it wasn't trained properly by it's owner. Shame on the owner!!! Guess where I was yesterday??? In district court with one of my neighbors because of their dog! If you sisters want me to elaborate further.... I have all night!!!! All I can say to start is I have terrific, supportive neighbors who accompanied me to court.. This problem is going on for ten years!!!

hadley, your coworker is a b*#(@. throw her in...here, i'll give you a hand.

i'd like to throw in the Komen Race for the Cure: allthose damned pink ribbons, the cheery fake @ss, chirpy (corporate) attitudes, celebrity emcees, decorating t-shirt contests! cancer is so much fun!

and the stupid "I heart boobies" bracelets. because it isn't about my f*#(#ing boobs, folks..it's about my life. you can replace boobs. a mother/sister/daughter/wife/partner? not so much.
