I just got back from the doctor and my glands on the left side are still swollen. They want me to take another round of antibiotics, and if it doesn't go down they will probably biopsy it. I guess they are gonna want to biopsy every little thing now? Oh well, it is what it is.
My daughter is coming home for the weekend and I'm very excited to see her. She leaves for England and France on Sunday. I'm glad she didn't inherit my fear of flying.

Ducky, Stella is so "cute"! LOL, she is darling.
OK, this conversation actually happened last night on the phone. Caller ID said something cancer center so I picked up just in case it was a doctor. I get a very lively and animated voice saying:
Her: Oh my, you're harder to get hold of than a duck on ice!
Me: Excuse me?
Her: I'm collecting for yadda yadda breast cancer something or other. Can you donate?
Me: Well, maybe a little. . .
Her: Oh thank you--you're sweeter than a kitten with mittens! Can I put you down for 50?
Me: Well maybe less. . .
Her: 45 maybe?
Me: (getting severely irritated) How about you just take my tumor!
Her: (dead silence)
Me: (feeling bad about the rough way I spoke) Look I know that was sick but I have BC now and I'm not amused!
What I want to know is why I'm suddenly getting hit up for breast cancer donations? Did the mammogram pick it up on a database or something? It was my first mammo. That's the meanest I've been with anyone in awhile, but man, that kittens with mittens thing just really bit my butt. . .
