Yep. Sign got replaced last night by a good friend. My friend added not one but two signs and a third sign for another person on my lawn. Let the mutants who took the last two try it again!

Mitzy did not react when she saw DD which is very unusual as DD is her favorite person. Completely ignored her and was distracted by other noises. Mitzy was so confused when we got to the hotel. Possiby a combo of sensesoverwhelmed and PTSD. Poor thing.
She is more relaxed here after 10 minutes.

M0mmy ~ Geez, this election has really brought out the worst in people. (sigh) Here's some ideas to keep your signs safe. I blocked out the candidate names to avoid political fussing....

Loverly ~ Awwwww...... Mitzy has her bed with her. Always easier for the doggies when they have something from home. She looks confident and at ease in the 2nd photo. Pretty girl! I'm sure she will be her usual lovie self with DD1 now that she has settled in. It's so confusing when your people aren't where they normally are supposed to be!
Marti is useless as a guard dog too - unless she is protecting the kitty. The bad guys are scared of the size and the breed........ just stand straight and "pretend" Mitzy is a trained attack dog! I use a very subtle hand command for Marti to "speak". One fella liked to pee himself as he tripped over his feet, scrambling to back away as fast as he could. "Missus, don't put that dawg on me! Please, please, I'm movin' on!" Very effective, even with my goof happily wagging her tail 😂
Enjoy your time together and stay safe!

Susan, where is your smile?
Yes ShepK, elections do bring the worst in people. We only put up a sign once. We were the only one on our street with a different view which was ok. It was DH's idea. I would rather have a pink flamingo on my lawn. You silly girl. You blocked the signs, but forgot the colors. Haha
We are still in Oakland waiting for the relay. Here is a pic of DD.

Susan, great pic of you both. You're not looking old. Maybe tired, but definitely not old. Don't remember if you have said your age but I think you look great.
I just mailed cards to Wench and Hin1. Hopefully I'll hear back. So I'll let you know if I can give out their address or not.
Jean, Sensi and Lover. Lunch still on for Friday? Jean, you get to decide and let me know if you need a ride. I'm closer to you then Lover.

Susan - great picture. You look lovely.
Shep love the ideas for keeping yard signs safe! We do not do this whole Yard sign thing in this part of the world. (Only have dustbin thieves instead).

Evie last month. Found this at my dd yesterday. Large canvas pic. They will be back in 2 weeks. And she started crawling.
We also had a new baby last week from my nephew. He's a very young grandpa now! That's three girls in 9 mos for fifth generation for my mom. I doubt if I'll ever she her, they live in Tahoe and don't do much with the family. We didn't even know she was pregnant.

Another beautiful picture!

Love all the baby photos, grandmother photos, stories of more babies that have arrived! Susan, nice smile in that last one!
Shep- thanks for the compliments. I have a few more to put on the drinking thread before I am done. Finished uploading the rest to FB and busy getting caught up at home. I need to shift gears and go exercise next!
Loverly thinks I was scouting for a hot man in the city! They are all fabulous and young and not interested in this old stuff!

Shep- the sign ideas made me smile and laugh! I needed that!

Evie is precious. Elena didn't have enough hair for bows. Here is a pic of first food...sweet potatoes.

thanks guys....5 years of chemo has taken its toll. I look like my mom, and she is in her 80s. Yeah, I am always tired...but keep on pushing through. Got a lot of doc appts coming up. Fingers and toes crossed.
Have a great Sunday all
Go Cubs!!!!!
Saw 21 games one year with my friend. That's when it was affordable:)
Fun for the city

Susan- Elena not so sure about those sweet potatoes?
These drugs we take for cancer do age us. The AIs are taking their toll this way.

Happy Sunday all.

Susan3 - Yes go Cubs! Both of my diagnosis have come at this time of year and the playoffs are a great distraction. Of course being a Giants fan 2012 was a much better time than 2016 but we are loving rooting for the Cubs this year. And loving your baby pictures!
Sensy, smarty, loverly - I think I'll be ok for lunch friday ... had hoped to feel a bit better but see the doctor tomorrow and will hopefully be encouraged that all is progressing. Can feel some fluid building up now that the drains are out, worried how much is too much. I guess they just stick a needle in and drain it? Oh for the days of no more poking! Restaurant choices - can i pick next time when I know who I'm dealing with here?? Or maybe choose from a few of your favorites in Elk Grove?

Susan3: another "Elena not entirely sure about sweet potatoes?" over here.
Sensi: (mesmerized, drooling) Coffee maker. Right. What?
0 -
Ooooh.....I used to have a coffee maker just like that many years ago ....`cept mine was the blonde version. It got a little wonky after a while and I had to scrap it

Jean, if your doc has to remove fluid it shouldn't hurt. That area is now numb. I had to do both sides once a week for one month. Are you driving now?
I LOVE the coffee pot!

I always did want a tea cozy...........

Has anyone heard from Holeinone....she used to be a regular here. She hasn't logged on in over a month and I'm worried about her. Anyone?

Loverly, I hope you all made it home safe and had a good time. That's a really cool pic of DD!!
Jazzy, How did your AI feet hold up in NYC? Does the AI cause pain elsewhere, or other SE's for you? I didn't realize how fatigued my meds were making me until I got off them and came out of the fog.
Loving the pics, Susan, Smaarty, Sensi and Shep. I have to say, Sensi's is my favorite. That man can bring me coffee in bed ANY day!
Jean, I 2nd what Smaarty said, taking fluid out should not hurt. When I was Dx and then had my BMX, I had a vacation planned. My tubes were in a long time (7 weeks, I think) and they were finally pulled the day before my vacation. The Dr said that I would likely collect fluid and would have to come back after vacation and have it removed (which I did). He said it would feel like a waterbed when I pushed on the area. I ended up going in a couple of times to have fluid removed. It's not ideal, but simple.

oh good! I was hoping I wouldn't offend anyone with the pic 😉. Now I'm enjoying my first fire of the season.
