Yikes.. I was teasing you! Most folks are quiet after anesthesia... you were jazzed and zippy! Sorry if I offended you, didn't mean too. It takes a good 24 hours to get all that chit out of your system. I never laugh at pain.. serious business, been there and it is never funny.

Hello all! Newbie BC Night Owl checking in. I'm a police dispatcher that's worked graveyard or swing shift for 19 of my 21 years....I wouldn't know what to do in early morning sunlight unless I've stayed up all night and in that case, it would be to go to bed before it got too bright outside!

Okay you two! Yes Rosie and Loverly, and talking about something like anesthesia and it's affects on some of us..........
I was sooooooo happy when I woke up! Talking to that intern, and then getting up to go tinkle, and it came out blue, and I thought I was surely DREAMING!
I DID question that little feat... and was assured it was only from the whatever they did prior to surgery....
I was just plain happy and relieved that it was O-V-E-R...! Hah!
Spookers, I would have been at a loss for words, also... All what you guys said, makes sense... I know my Mom wore one, and at that time, they were really heavy, I thought... Aren't the bra's made for that? Or can you just put them in your own bra? I think her's had a pocket for the foob, and were quite expensive, also.
Oh Marla!!!!!!! You are NEW!!!!! Yay, someone else we can tease! I'm not serious..... Oh wait.... maybe I am...
So does this mean that since you work with law-enforcement that we have to BEHAVE? Or you will call out the authorities? Do WE have to review your past history?

There's lots of those type here.... also Florida women... you can always TELL a Florida woman... they wear nothing but flip-flops, and walk around with a thermometer and camera in their hand to take PICTURES of the temperature at any given moment, and POST THE TEMPERATURE while the rest of us are either freezing or drowning!
I could tell you about the REST of us, but hope you stick around, and see for yourself.... I am mostly known for being the shy, quiet one...........

Welcome Marlana!
I went to see a great little musical at a local theater last night that was just SO FUN! It was called "Curtains" and is a murder mystery set within the context of a theater show in Boston. I love musicials and a friend invited me spontaneously last minute and glad I went. After I was watching the show for awhile, I realized I also saw it on Broadway in 2007 (I forgot the name of it, but remembered it once I heard the music!)
Waking up to mostly sunny skies today. Going to the farmers market this morning for some fresh veggies!

I am headed to the "big city" in a few hours. I have my Dr. appt. Tomorrow with the shoulder surgeon. I am not real confident that I have stretched it enough. I certainly have used it. Painting, cleaning & moving. Oy.....

Hi Owlette's been off mostly with computer problems. Mistakenly signed up for a google account. It's created access problems. Lot's of swearing gong on. There's no way to delete or uninstall. Google is taking over the world!
HI1, I'm with you. I still miss my old house and it's been since 1992. This house is fine, but will never replace that old treasure. One thing is I didn't do what you are doing. Taking pictures. I only had two specifically of the house. Take lots.

Jazzy, oh how I wish I can go to the farmer's market. I have been a hermit since surgery. Hoping to have the two drains removed in a few days.
Ms. Chevy, I can't sleep because of the drains ( can't shower with them either). Being OCD, that affects me at different levels. I can't function when I am not clean. I am starting to stink. Feel sorry for my PS when he has to see me next week. Well, not really because he told me NO shower until drains are removed. If I have to put up with no shower, he hasto put up with me stinky self.
Ms. Sass, you are still having computer problem? Perhaps you should consider getting one like this..

Nice Dutchy, I noticed your tools when you showed the pics of the other frame. All the right stuff. I figured you must be seriously into it. Back in the 80's I used to frame. There was a shop in Fairlawn (Akron), Ohio. The shop had about 4-6 tables divided into four. Each corner had a miter vise. The table tops were covered in felt(?). Customers would pick their frame, glass and mats. The owners would cut the materials. Customers would then do the assembling. The first time there, they would teach how to do the joining of the frame, placement of mat to picture, glass cleaning, then finally assembly. Final step, we'd get to sign a little sticker that said "custom framed by_____". Fun and it saved oodles of money. It was a very busy place. Always thought it would become a big thing b/c of the cost of framing. Disappointed that I couldn't find a shop here.

Loverly, That is so true. What this frustrating time has taught me though is I spend way too much time on the computer reading and writing. It's hard though to do other things. Reading and more directly learning, has been my lifelong major love over everything else. With all the negative chemicals affecting my brain between 2009 until end of 2014 where the thyroid meds were starting to come to a decent level, reading was very frustrating. In 2009, I could not maintain comprehension of a single paragraph. It(brain) steadily improved over time. But not like it used to be though. Used to be if I read something that was in my ADD area of focus, it was mine for life. Not now. Good for a short time only. But I will certainly take what my memories doing now versus what it was doing from 2009--2014.

Nice sunny day today and quick trip to the farmers market. Usually May markets only feature greens and a few root vegetables, so not as much there as there will be going forward, but came away with some kale, argula, swiss chard, bok choy (LUV), and 2 kinds of radishes. Then I stopped at the health food store on the way back and finished the rest of my grocery shopping. I am in a cooking mood and today will bake some marinated pork chops with portobello mushrooms and serve it on some lightly sauteed boy choy.
There is a Nigerian fellow at this farmers market I call my "kale guy" and actually was able to visit with him today and learn his name (Andy). I always buy my greens from him, except for the bok choy. Never even seen the bok choy there before! Andy said in a few more weeks, he will have some cherries, they are ripening now. All this rain we have had is good for the farms here.
Lover- maybe when you get those ports out, you can go with a family friend and get some things at your local growers market. Bring a big bag and let them carry it for you. I love growers markets and want to support the local farms here.
Time to get into the kitchen and start making my Sunday meal!

I did not feel like cooking for years. So I understand eating easy stuff, I did so for a long time too. So start from where ever you are. Even a piece of grilled fish on a pre-made salad is a good way to being.

omd---I just spent time reviewing my credit information on credit karma, Equifax, Experian and Transunion. Credit Karma said someone tried to take a mortgage out in my name in 2014 and TransUnion had an unknown address in my bio info. The only way to determine what was up was to file a dispute through TransUnion. What a computer PITA.
creditkarma.com is a free secure site that you can get a look at your credit score and all the info kept by the other three. I never knew that I could check all the info b/c I never clicked on all the tabs. Basically, I was interested in credit score.
