I don't understand why "fillers' make such a difference in SEs. Doesn't seem to make sense. Can anyone explain?.

Not sure, but maybe some have allergic reactions to them?

I think Yorkie is right, there are some filler tho tiny obviously that are open for the FDA to approve for that med, but with bodies being so so so different, some might affect more than others and the studies they do they use the fillers that have the least effect on about 100 people so that makes sense. So even tho a million people are taking it ??????

It's a few days early but I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!  Stay warm and dry and enjoy your family and friends.  I still have wrapping and cleaning to do but I can do it at my own pace.  Love to all.

    Merry Christmas sweet ladies!

Just finished hosting what was supposed to be a relatively easy Christmas Eve family gathering. OMG, I do not think I will be up to this anymore! Singing

Yorkiemom, next year it can be at one of their houses.  As much fun as they can be, you don't need the stress.  Add a little "something" to your eggnog tonight.  Winking

Corky, adding that "little something" to the eggnog was the first everybody, except the kids, did! I'm feeling rested up today. DH and I will celebrate Christmas by ourselves at the movies. Going to a theater with a restaurant. And you're right, next year needs to be a little easier on these old bones.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to All! Smile

Oh for heaven's sake, this horrid little pill is attacking me.  My PCP suspects that I have carpal tunnel so I am wearing wrist braces at night.  She said that 2%-3% of women on exemestane develop carpal tunnel but she also ordered some blood tests.  But to top it all off my feet and toes have "tunnel" symptoms too.  I've only been on this med for four months.  I see my MO in a few days and have stopped taking this med for now.  Carpal tunnel might be mangeable but "tunnel" symptoms in the feet?  I have to be able to walk.  I am so frustrated.  I might start another thread on this topic after I see my MO.

    Sigh.

Corky change to another one---I've stupidly stayed on it thinking I'll just do it and I'm so sorry now--maybe if I had another I'd have some bones left and feel better, if this is already starting try another.

Thanks Cami and Lily.  I know I was prescribed this one because it is supposed to be easier on the joints.  Seems to me that they can all cause carpal tunnel be it doesn't mean they will.  I saw my podiatrist today for something that started during rads and she mentioned tarsal tunnel for the feet.

I had the same thing; left toes only, but really interfered with my dog walks --

My onc said Aromasin causes the least bone loss of the hormonals. However, considering how much bone pain I had I can't believe the others could possibly be worse. But that's just me!

Willysuz, prayers and HUGZ coming your way!

Corky, I've got carpal tunnel in my hands, but not feet. That sort of sounds like neuropathy. Hope you find relief soon!

So Dogs are you still taking Aromasin or did you stop or switch to another AI?

Yorkie I suppose neuropathy could spontaneously start.  No chemo, no diabetes.  Podiatrist did say that fat or varicose vein could press on the nerve.

Willysuz, saying a prayer for you.

Corky, if you didn't have chemo then it is probably a SE of Aromasin. Or something else! Only way to know is if, when you go off the drug, it goes away.
