And here are my two. This is Tribble. Cute, quirky, dumb as a post but very sweet.image

A more recent shot of her sleeping on meimage

And this is Teddy, aka Lord Theodore Scabbyheid. If he were a human, he'd be a basketball star. But he's also a sucky momma's cat. (Although he's sleeping on Daddy here...)

Terre for you and all of our cat lovers. Here's Chloe begging me for water from the bathroom sink, her favorite spot! I just took this picture a few minutes ago.

Milaandra, love the cat in the crockpot!

Love the photos of all the cats, it really put a smile on my face!

The chocolate night is at a local chocolate shop with wine. My neighbor invited me.

I heard back from my usual onc's nurse about MRI, she left a message last night that it was good news. So of course now I'm confused if I want to switch since I heard from my onc first.

Hi ladies, my onc's nurse called last night and left a message which said she had good news regarding my brain MRI so I'm sure it's clear. I think my headaches are due to chronic consitpation from the pain meds to be honest.

Did someone post about Hope? (Romansma?) I didn't see any updates on her since December. I think she's more on Facebook than here possibly.

Loving all the cat pictures ladies....made my day.

Terre, Such good news. No Progression!! Happy for you. I have some screws in my spine that my neurologist and dh like to say I have a couple of screws loose too. Aren't they the comedians?

Lynne, Some encouraging news for you and your dh to hang onto! Hopefully his stay is short and he can come back home quickly.

Cristina, MRI looks ok? Glad to hear it.

Bosco I hear the news with such a heavy heart...It's so disappointing, trying to do everything right and then THIS bomb!! Please feel the big HUGS and Kisses from all of us. It's great that they set u up already with the new tx. Eribulin Dani was on, it was not a difficult one for her. the other one DepoCyt - I never heard of, Could I ask why this one? Did they explain? How is that given? ALso for Rads to the brain area, Dani had Gammaknife, is that the one you will be having? Best of luck on your new tx!!!

Lynne what can I say to you, but to offer you our support. It's so draining having to go in and out of Hospital, and dealing with all the personnel. DH must be so frustrated. Hope B&H will be able to see him soon. I know my auntie had that tube in, she could not stand it. Agh...wish you the best

Dee 8 days...that is a long time, what's his excuse for delaying the phone call??Weird

Cristina wow, that is great news about the MRI, nice that they called back so soon. Hope u get the pain managmt of board soon.

    PattyP hiya!!

    Annie what's with your scans?

Mary yeeeeeeh! stable it is!!! Your son would prob be embarrassed to see how you wrote about him, good for you!1

LindaE yep the link did not work, what's up w Romansma? And did anyone get any radar signs on Kendra?

AWWW all the nice fluffy pictures, it's such a good feel moment! Thank you!

Terre screws in place! So happy for you! You made me laugh!! I am still looking for mine, trust me.

Chelle how scrumptious! Sent it to may daughter, she will do it for the weekend!!

Deanna - what do you know about the Caris biopsy? Do you know when and to whom it's advised to do it? I'll see Monday with the new TM's but if it's not better, Dani feels she is a sitting duck. Maybe not, she says oh yes, i forgot you are always hoping. Now when she had to put a brake on the dosage of Ibr, let's just say she gets a bit discourages, she wants to hit the "thing" with a punch.

Momallthetime,  I do not have results as of yet. Was hoping I'd get a call saying all looked great. But I do still have to have my bone scan on the 10th so maybe they're just going to wait til I have all my scans done. Thanks for asking. I feel very anxious having to wait so long.

Cristina, that's great news, I'm so happy for you!

Bosco and Lynne - sending you gentle hugs of support. Please stay positive as that helps the battle. Christina - glad you have good results! Some rough news at Onc today, my RBC crashed and must get transfusion tomorrow. Any of you ladies have this? Also adding Xgeva with my Fas shots in 4 weeks. My left lung had 350cc of fluid at today's thoracentesis, so a little better than 2 weeks ago. Love the cat pics!

    Hi All!

Love the pics of everybody's fuzzy buddies, especially Wendy's 2! LOL! They are look so lovely, miss our dear old cat.

Lynne, sorry to hear that hubby's gone back into hospital, hope they get everything straightened out, quickly. You don't need to spend another 3 weeks there!

3-16, congratulations on stable! I'm especially happy to hear this on the A/A combo which would be my next treatment once anastrozole fails me.

Mom, still no call from the MO. I called her ass't today, apparently she is away for a few days but it is on her desk for her to look at on Tuesday when she gets in. But there was at least a bit of conversation about the MO's bedside manner. Her ass't said that the MO would be horrified if she realized that I wasn't able to get my questions answered, so I have to think that she is just too busy & in her head. So the ass't & I are going to come up with a strategy.

My CT is on Tuesday with the results coming on Wednesday to know if I get more "spot welding" (radiation). I have company this weekend, so I'll be in & out.

I hope everyone has a good weekend with their family & friends, stay painfree my friends. Cheers, Dee

Thanks all. Just an update. Treatment delayed as platelets only 8 this morning and need to be 80. So now in hospital for a weekend of platelets infusions and immunoglobulin and hopefully intrathecal treatment Monday, Eribulin Tuesday and RT middle of week. Have finally taken a month's leave of absence from work. ConGratulations to those with good news and commiserations to those with bad. I'm sorry I can't do by name. Head not in the right place at the moment although getting better. And my son came home unexpectedly mid week which was a boost

bosvo. Onh no. Not the hospital. Oh so sorry. Def no sleep in hospital. Well at least they are being proasctive. Might as well lay back and relax.

I sure have spent way too much time in the hospital and I have to say if I stayed in too long I would get fat ! Seems like you are eating every couple hours and no zero exercise so the food just sits in tunmy. Yucvk. Luckily. Our hospital only has private rooms that are very spacious, clean and comfy for patient and guests. A friend in CA dh is in hospital with a shared room. Yuck. No privacy at all. No where for the guest to lay down. Nope just a chair. Not even a recliner. Wow. What are hospital rooms private or shared rooms in your area, anyone ? Esp bosco in England.

Dee. Hugs. Gl on scan results. Praying stable courts you enjoy your company this weekend. Make memories. Make pictures, make laughs that hurt , be pain free

    Hugs to all.

MomATT, I came across this today and thought of Dani. Maybe something her onc could look into. http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2015-05/uoc...

Lynne, hoping for a good update on your hubby. Did he get moved? Thank goodness you were there to immediately put the kidney function stuff in context.

Bosco, so sorry you're in the hospital, but glad you're getting the care you need and hope you will feel much better soon. And wonderful that your son came home for a visit! Is he still there?

Cristina, glad you got good news from your onc's office. As far as switching, maybe try not to rush that decision, but set with it for awhile and see how you feel in a few days. Maybe make a list of pros/cons for each. If tx recommendations and response times are similar, maybe it comes down to which personality you feel most strong when you're around? Which one lifts you up more?

Dee, sorry it sounds like you'll have to wait some more on scan results. So nerve-wracking. IMO, oncs should have a plan in place to get us those results STAT. Surely they know how difficult it is to wait.

lalady, good luck with the transfusion(s). I needed two after my hip and femur surgery, and I honestly felt like a new woman the next day! Hope that happens to you, too!

Enjoying all the cat (and hubby) photos!

Hope everyone's weekend has bright spots, even from hospital rooms, if that's the situation. Deanna

Hi all, just an update on my brother after his appointment yesterday. His tumor markers increased in the past month (68 to 92). So combined with the PET scan he had in January, he's going to start Doxil on the 16th. She wants him to try at least one or two rounds to see how he tolerates it and how the next scan looks. I've heard it's "tolerable" but that it can cause nausea, hand/foot syndrome, and of course hair loss. We asked about adding carboplatin to gemzar, but she said for Stage IV they don't like to use dual-agent therapy because it would just increase side effects without having more effect. And carboplatin would cause him even more neuropathy long-term, so it's not recommended just yet. I also asked about Ibrance+hormonal therapy, and she said it was on the table but it's something we would try as a sort of last option because we don't know how well it's going to work in men. Plus he didn't have a response to Tamoxifen when he tried it alone. The good thing from that appointment is that the onc finally explained all his options in depth, mostly because I was asking the technical questions!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

    Good morning to all,

Mary, so happy to hear you're onc is in agreement and that you're stable. Prayers for you to stay that way, forever and ever!

Dee, I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday. I have my bone scan on Wednesday and infusion on Friday. Still no CT results for me.

Lynne, thinking of you and dh, how are you both? Is he still in hospital?

Loving, thank you for the update on your brother. Prayers that Doxil will be the treatment that is effective for him. I guess I can say I didn't really have a response to Tamoxifen either, as I recurred while on it. I'm glad you were there to ask his onc about treatment options. Wishing him the very best.

    Hugs to all, Annie

patty - rooms are ok. All single in private hospital. Mine is en suite with two visitors chairs. Apart from husband and one friend I do t want visitors. Son finds it too upsetting ( my brother was just the same when my mum died of cancer almost 50 years ago)

Deanna - son now home until he goes to college in August. Will probably go on a few more trips but we want to spend time together.

    Hello to everyone else
