Love the pet photos! Can't imagine life without their love and silliness. This is Teek, our little rescue guy, named by DH after a StarWars ewok. He thinks he's a tough watchdog and is not fond of being photographed.

Teek has the same expression as I get when I am photographed... really not happy. But he does look tough, even in front of a lovely flowering landscape.

This is Biggie, he's a French/English bulldog mix (from an accidental breeding) but he's the last surviving member of the litter and will be 13 yrs next month.

This is how he sleeps sometimes (I couldn't resist posting this one!)

Waiting for my chemo but I'll be stepping it up the rest of this week.
Everyone has beautiful babies (pets), by the way

Z your cat is beautiful love those eyes. He talks without saying a word I bet with those eyes. I love cats but discovered after my teens I was very allergic. Which made me mad, I grew up with three of them. He's a beauty!
Mae~. He looks like he is in charge! Lol so loveable, they are like best friends, unconditional love! Loving all the pets. They make me smile! He looks so huggable.
Have a pain free day! Hugs to all. ~M~

Well done Wendy, Micmel and good luck to everyone awaiting scans or indeed results. Missing my Wolfdog Bandit whilst I am in Miami & he is home in the UK so as we are having a pet moment I have added a pic.

Micmei wow that's just wonderful news!! so happy for you.
Babs how are you doing today?
Zar boy that cat is showing who is the boss.
Everyone, love the dog pictures. It brings so much warmth. Thank you for sharing.
Jenmadd glad mom is feeling better. They need to figure out where the pain is coming from.
I was kinda of taking aback today when I saw D's blood test results from last week, CEA going up up, Alkaline phosphate went up a lot, (none of the numbers are ridiculous because she never had them astronomically high), but for her it's gone up a lot. ANC is low but that's been the norm. Lactate dehydrogenase is on the high side again, so unless it's all baloney, I am quite anxious about the scans coming this week. Pet/CT thursday, after last dosage for this cycle of the IMMU134, and sunday MRI of the brain, and lower lumbar due to much pain. What is it gonna show?? Just trying to live the next few days busily, this is insane!

Z, your cat has such gorgeous markings.
Mae, Biggie is so cute. Being a mixed breed, I bet he's pretty healthy. Isn't it great that Bulldogs are living longer?
Love all the pet photos 😀.
MOMATT, keeping Dani in prayer.

A bit concerned. I am feeling better but a little queasy. Today when I called my MO to find out the results of Friday AMs scans the nurse said that my liver mets have increased in size and that my MO wants me to do another round of the Gemzar before she makes any changes. I surely hope gemzar isn't failing me so quickly!!!! Plus I need to see the scan results to see what increases there were. I requested them later today. I still don't know what caused my severe pain Thursday night and I really want to know what it could be from. Too many unanswered questions.

Lita thank you sweetie, how is the pain, any better? Does it make sense that the Rads are taking so long to work? Or they just didn't hit everywhere. I am quite unhappy with the pain that D is feeling, she had rads to the sacral area already, so what would they do? i am thinking is the liver pressing?
Babs, so sorry. These people, why would they not tell you asap that something is awry. They pretty much know it in hours. I think from what I understand it's very hard to get the results directly from Sloan right? They only wanna send it to doctor? So you have to wait for that? What's another round of Gemzar? How long? Could it possibly be that the liver is enlarged and that pressure was causing the pain (the UTI just a coincidence??), just in light of what you are saying....Such anxiety. Well, if doc is banking on it, then...Is hubby back?

Aww! Those two!
Do you know, I can't pray for myself anymore? I now have to pay for all of us or it doesn't seem right.
So prayers everyone!
I hope everyone has a better Tuesday

Mom, I will be sending prayers for your scan and will be keeping you in thought and pray that you will also get good news. I just want it to stay in my bone, no soft tissue please. But I was told even soft tissue can remain quite stable, I am sending out good vibes. To all that scan this month or any month for that matter.
Babs~ I hope you get good results and some major answers for your pain issues. I also hope the medicine that they are giving you just needs a little more time to kick some butt.
MCK~ I love the little pals. They are adorable together. Life long friends. I love the way they sleep together, it's amazing how the dogs are able to bond with one another. Made me smile all day with all the pics of the furry friends. Somedays they make me laugh so hard. I don't know what i would do without the companionship!
Prayers for everyone! Gentle hugs~ M~

Michel thank you...they re adorable I admit. Every morning I find these two in one crazy way or another. They make me smile. So many bc sisters getting scans and feeling such anxiety, my heart goes out to everyone. Wishing everyone a restful peaceful sleep tonight with only happy dreams.
My grandmother always used to say " God doesn't t give anyone anything they can t handle". But this phrase must have been coined before bc came to be.

Momall, Dani is always in my prayers. I am praying for her to feel better and those spots to decrease exponentially!
Babs, am going to go spend some time in prayer right now. Will be praying that you get answers directly and that they are better than what you were thinking. Praying also that your nausea gets better.
Micmel, yes, he is an all black Shepherd. He's been a royal pain to this point, but I've grown fond of him anyway I'm like you on the soft tissue. I had one spot under my right pectoral muscle on the side of my mastectomy. I have wondered why they won't remove that...it would be very easy to get to.
0 -
Gracie~ I had one small spot removed from my liver at the same time as my breast mastectomy, I was lucky, which was why I was so worried because I still get goofy pains from the liver resection. And i worried it would come back to my liver. That resection was a hard surgery. I still have a numb belly, near the awful road map scar, but was informerd that, most likely that pain was coming from my met in my back. Nearest to my spine! Luckily since I've been on ibrance I don't feel nearly as much numbness so I am wondering if since it has shrunk maybe they were right. But I noticed all my scars still feel funny, so who the heck knows as long as I don't hear progression. I'll be kept out of my worm hole. I'll be putting some prayer time in as well for us all. Hugs to all and thanks for sharing all the lovely pics of the puppies and kitties. I enjoy looking at them. I love animals and they are part of my happy zone! So unconditional, no judgement since I only have one boob and break out in self combustion hourly. They don't seem to mind me this way. So I adore them, this is my other little guy Tag. He's a rescue he's also a loveable buddy. ~M~
