new and future flat sister, with questions

OMD thankfully, it's over! I feel like a stuffed turkey. Yesterday, I made a chocolate cheesecake for today. Spookie woke me up at the crack of dark today. Brat! So I did the punkin pie, stuffing, creamed corn, then went back to bed. DD fried a turkey, all the other sides and desserts were wonderful
Gobble gobble!0 -
Oh dear Ariom, I just can't Marika any more..... I have lots on the way from both zulily and the Marika site already. Must behave! But it is so tempting!!
Had a great evening with my friends. One is a high school Phys Ed teacher that also teaches health education, she was really interested to see my scars. What the heck, it is kind of like being pregnant and giving birth with all sorts of people coming in to look at your lady parts. But this woman is really, really dedicated to her students, she runs a really good lecture program that has done things like bring in forensic rape techs to talk to the kids etc. The result of that lecture was one girl came to her for help after being abused for years. I gladly showed her my scars. Her sister is my pcp's nurse so we just kept it in the family!0 -
No problem gB! I said I'd let the thread know when there was another good discount. I got some more of the bras that I love, and capris. I will be living in these when the really hot weather hits.
So glad to hear you had such a good time with your friends! What great work that woman is doing!
I had to laugh at you showing your scars, I have shown my new flat side to many people, who have asked! Not one negative reaction yet!
Spookiesmom, all that food sounds delish!
We just had spaghetti bolognaise, and I told Colin about what all of you have been eating. Colin has an uncle who lives in Atlanta, he's my favorite relative of Colin! I must ask him if they eat all this great stuff at Thanksgiving.
Take care M x0 -
We had the traditional turkey dinner. The boys, 1st and 4th grades, had to try a bit of everything. The younger one LOVED mashed potatoes. His mother is half Japanese and I think she mostly serves rice. We're just getting out of the hot tub. It's 37F here, up from 28F when we woke up. We're driving home tomorrow. Sunday is supposed to be rainy and snowy and we'd rather not drive in that. DIL would love for us to stay until Monday. I'm afraid the roads might really be bad then. It's not supposed to be bad enough to close the freeway, but you never know.
We're going to come back down for DC's birthday in January. When DIL was pregnant, her birth coach had everyone say what their worst fear was about birth. She said she was afraid there would be a snowstorm and she would need a C section. Both came true. They took a photo on the way into Portland. The 4 lane interstate was 1 lane each way and looked like someone's back country road.0 -
Good middle of the night.
Bobo. I'll trade your shaving cream for Miss Poopy Pants stripping off her pjs and her diaper. I found her asleep with her bare bottom. At least it was contained to her crib.
The pie wars never materialized. All that pre drama. Neither one made the pie! I was glad since it was a pecan pie and I was afraid of cross contamination. I would hate to have to use the epi pen.
I laid around most of Thursday. Kids were spoiled. Boy even got to spend the night with his cousins.
Felt good this morning (Friday). One of my friends picked up a few things at the Black Friday sales. I met her for breakfast after rads. I made two stops and got the teacher gifts and finished up my nieces and nephews so the boxes can go out this week. Yes!
The boy wanted to know about putting up the tree. I told him all the toys in the living room had to go to his room. That didn't happen quietly so daddy got out the trash bag.
I believe we should present a united front but it's killing me. I'm still stewing over it. He really took them to the trash and not just the garage. Some were the baby's, some were junk, some could be donated. I'm seriously contemplating dumpster diving!
So the boy and I spent the evening looking at the tree with just lights and candy canes so far. I was doing my JS and he wasn't going to drag out anything! Next thing I hear "mommy how do babies come out of your belly?"
I'm not ready for this! DH comes down just in time. "Babies come out of vaginas." Mr Know It All refuses to believe. "You unzip your belly and they kinda roll out." Both are close to the truth. I know the baby was a c section but don't know about the boy.
Two more stay home days!0 -
Oh Zills, I am so sorry that the toys got really dumped! I am willing to bet you've been dumpster diving!
You sound like you are keeping lots of balls in the air right now. I get tired just reading about it. Did you get back to bed?
I love kids interpretations, "just unzip your belly and let them roll out" if it were just that easy! LOL
I am ready for bed. I had another go at grooming Dex today. I have decided that his medication must be the cause of his fine wispy hair. I am having trouble getting it even, so much for saving the 60 bucks to have him done professionally. It isn't a good look!
Bec is home in bed with a virus, wish I could just call in. She says she is fine, just wants to sleep.
Catch you all later M x0 -
Just has to share this .................. Warning ADULT content ...................
Ok so yesterday I was stupid and decided to try the Black Friday thing. I needed some cheap soft cami's (I still can't take anything tight) so I went to Kohls (a lower end department store for those of you outside the US). I gather up 8 different types of camis and head to the dressing room. I am in there a bit as I am still slow dressing. The door just flies open (no locks and no knock) and I hear "I see you are trying on cami's . We have some really lacy sexy ones here if you are interested. I am pissed.......... I turn around with my 4 week old scarred bare chest and say "Do you have anything sexy for this..........what about something in F**ck**g Cancer Pink !!! . She gasps and runs away. A few minutes later a knock on the door. "Hi I am the manager, my associate says you may need some help. I say lady if you know what's good for you, you wont open the Fing door. She says well I would like to offer you $50.00 in free Kohl's cash just for coming in today. I said you can take your Kohls cash and shove it up your A** as I won't ever be coming back to this store !!
At least I got 4 cami's cheap. For now I think I will stick to on line shopping ......................... LOL0 -
You should have taken the $50!!!! omg you have me laughing my @ss off!!! Serves them right.. how rude to just open the damn door.. wtf is up with that??
Just popping my head in to say hello.. cooking a small turkey dinner today and decorating.. over did that a bit. We got our tree yesterday, was planning on decorating it tonight, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. F the limited energy.. it's really getting on my nerves!
XO0 -
Morning all!
Loving that fierce story Fiaranch! I would have taken the money too! I bet that young lady won't be barging in again, any time soon!
And you swear just like the rest of us here! WooHoo!
I love Kohls! they have Vera Wang T shirts, but they are one of the few who won't let me order direct with Aussie credit card. I hate that! I have to use the personal concierge at MyUS to buy for me.
Hey ldesim, still overdoing it? I am sorry, I hope you can have a rest before you get back into work again!
It is pretty quiet here, I bet everyone has overdone it with Thanksgiving. This is the first time I have actually known what goes into the Holiday for you. It is such a lot right before Christmas.
Gorgeous day here, sunshine and light winds. There are a few yachts on the water this morning. Dex and I will be going on the "big" walk this morning, as we've missed a few because of rain this week.
Off to do the Rites, and a shower....chat later! M x0 -
OMG fiaranch!! How utterly rude of that saleswoman to barge in like that!! Good that you gave her a tongue lashing. Personally, I'd have taken the card too and used it to pay for the camis!!
Zills, sorry about the toys, did the boy even notice they were really gone? psst did you retrieve them?
ldesim, sorry your feeling tired. Try to rest as much as you can, I know it is practically impossible this time of year!!
Just got a box from zulily. No Marika in this one. The shirred/smocked long gray dress is going to be perfect for summer!! The stretchy smocking is snug and doesn't flop open when I bend over. I'll have to look out for tops in that shirred style for summer.
Got the purple wellies too and they fit great!0 -
This is my mood today ................................ Maybe when my Marika arrives it will be better....... LOL0 -
Fiaranch1. I'm in a foul mood too but I didn't have any stranger barging in on me. I'm so sorry. Glad you expressed yourself.
Yes I retrieved some of them. It was empty so took some doing to reach the bag. Mostly pieces to baby's stuff and two that were the boy's when he was a baby and some junk.
Baby gets the stool to reach the candy canes off the tree. She breaks them and brings them to you saying more. I finally threw them all away. There are broken bits everywhere. I don't know how many times we've swept today. They love the new stick vacuum and it's so light weight.
I took a good nap today. It was beautiful outside so I walked by myself and then took the kids. Crabbed at them the whole time. Even ate a chocolate truffle but I'm still out of sorts.
Tomorrow we are cooking our turkey. Sides won't take more than 10 minutes. Don't know if I'll unearth the kids ornaments. Need to get ready for Monday.
Going to be a long week. Three appts plus rads. Big one on Thursday with MO. Will find out next steps. Assume I'll be on the watch and wait list with everyone else.0 -
Love that Fieranch! Fingers crossed you get your Marika soon!
Zills, I am in the bag for Thursday and the others! Sorry you're in a foul mood today.
What sort of stick vacuum do you have? One of my girlfriends bought one and just raves about it.
I am just back from a big walk. Poor Dex just doesn't love it as he used to. The cortisone is probably the cause. I am going to take him back to the Vet to see if there is any way we can get him off it. I know how it knocks me around, and his dose is massive.
It is just beautiful out there, I stopped to talk to a couple who were going out in their Hobie Kayaks. Looks like great exercise because they have these paddles you work with your feet, I think you'd get "buns" of steel!
We went the long way around and up the "Ramps of Death" back down to town and to the yacht club to check out Mystique, she's got a little bit of damage to be fixed, one of the Mast Stays needs replacing. Then we came back along the beach, in the sand, and up the hill to home. We were both panting when we got here!
Dex did the usual..... big drink of water, then throws up!0 -
It's a dirt devil. Basically a dust buster with a handle. It was $20 on amazon and the kids fight over who's going to use it. Plus it doesn't weigh anything.
I think my rug is shedding. I know they need to be steamed but I'll have to bribe my sister. I only have two area rugs and the rest is pergo or linoleum. The rug just needs to hold up until she's potty trained.
I'm expecting progress on that front next year. After I'm rested from rads and she's closer to 2. They don't potty train until the two year old room. She will tell me right afterwards and will sit on the potty.0 -
Zills, does it do a half way decent job if sweeping up stuff? Does it have a cord? How does it hold the crud dies for dumping? Bags?
I need to get something soon, have seen them but was $40 at Walmart and just wasn't sure how good they are.0 -
I'm pretty impressed with its job. Got the big stuff and then the carpet fibers that look like cat hair that I didn't know was there.
Has a cord, no bags but a filter. Got lots of reviews. There are two tips. One for crevices and one flat like a vacuum. No rollers or beater bar.
I think if you use it daily and empty it daily it would be good. I think it's worth the $20 just for the kid factor. Even my husband wants to use it!
The cord is long enough to do one room. I was spoiled by my longer cord. So far that's the only drawback for me.0 -
Z, I feel you! I am in the bag for Thursday for sure, and for rads days. What are the other appts? Can't believe you had Black Friday rads! It's good -- one more out of the way.
I have so been there with the babies conversation and the candy canes. I don't put candy canes on the tree anymore. Also the toys in the garbage! That happens so regularly. And I agree about the donating too. I'm in the middle of doing that right now. Miss Poopy! What are you doing!?
Spookie is on the 'naughty' list! She should get a kissing punishment. When one of the kitties annoy me about something, I declare a kissing punishment, then sweep up the offending kitty and kiss her a lot all over the face. Everybody wins. Kitties hate that. Well, I have one kitty who likes it. Wren, Boris went to his forever home? What happened?
Fiaranch, peeing my pants at your story and your sign. You are one of us! F0cking sales associate. She deserves to sleep in one of those itchy lace camis for a month. The funniest part is that you told them to shove their coupon, then bought four camis anyway! I so understand -- you did not want to have to go back to another store! So hard to shop online for camis. Fiaranch, I could not be more pleased with your behavior. Have you been influenced by our bad-girl thread or were you born this way?
M, so sorry Bec has a virus. I know how she feels. I definitely want a picture of Dex with his new and evolving haircut! I love that you told Colin what we ate. Has he been a good boy this year? Is he on Santa's 'naughty' list? I have been frantically preparing for 'not being able to lift a mug' but I'm not doing a very good job of it. I have this feeling that I'm running out of time. Dreading work tomorrow, that's for sure. These three days are going to fly by.
Okay. Our little thread has got a lot to do this week! I need a schedule of appts. Z had rads every morning, plus MO on Thurs. Anyone else have appts?
Hi granwe! Can't wait to hear about your Thanksgiving. I can only imagine!0 -
bobogirl ,
My personality is such that I have always "colored outside the lines" . However I retired early from corporate America last year as I could no longer tolerate the stress and hours, plus in corporate America you have to keep your mouth shut. So now I am attempting to simplify my life , de hoarding my house on Ebay, saying and doing whatever I want (most days anyway), and not putting up with people that are plastic.
This year I told the DH we could not have Turkey for Thanksgiving . He says why it should not have much estrogen (another challenge for many of us with BC). I said we cant have it because right now my chest looks like a plucked turkey breast so we are having pasta. He says ok pasta it is, but do any of your body parts remind you of beef tenderloin because I wanted to have that for Christmas. I said no none of my body parts or your body parts remind me of beef tenderloin , so beef tenderloin it is !!!
Regarding the vacuum discussion. I am by no means a Domestic Goddess but I got one of those Dyson stick vacuums . They are pricey (I got mine with American Express points on Amazon) but great . Be careful though they attract cat tails :-(. Neither of my cats were harmed in the process but they run and hide now on cleaning days !!
You all have been great on this thread, Nice to find a few others the "color outside the lines" !!0 -
Bobo, Boris went back to his other foster mother. She owns a pricey store in a pricey neighborhood and has found adopters for lots of foster cats in her store. I sent his 'lovey' with him. That's the fleece he would suck and pad while purring loudly.
I worked at a travel agency with a woman who said her entire life changed when she decided to stop lying. We had a client call to complain about his trip. She stopped him in his tracks by saying "We really did screw up your trip, didn't we?"0 -
Fiaranch, you fit in here perfectly haha.... I'm loving the beef tenderloin discussion... DH sounds like a great guy ! I wish I was in a position to leave my stressful job.. Joe keeps saying lets think of a business we can do, but too set in my ways.. scared of not having the safety net of a regular paycheck and too young for retirement. I have however stopped being a doormat to family members and even some "friends", in some ways I have become a little bit on the selfish side.. but F em if they don't like it... I could give a sh!t anymore.
Wren, I'm sure the customer was taken aback.. it's not often companies will admit to mistakes.. it could very well be that this will now be a customer for life.. who knows. I'm glad Boris has his 'lovey' and I hope a good family snatches him up. When can we expect the next one?
Hmm.. I keep getting distracted I'll have to finish this later... got as far as lights on the tree and have a turkey soup in the making... I'm just too damn tired.. what I could normally accomplish in a day is taking me 3.. it's ridiculous and now its back to work tomorrow.. and I already know a sh!tstorm is waiting for me. Off to do ironing and I have trash duty today.. Joe threw out his back so he is resting and watching football....I'll have to do it somewhat quietly so he doesn't come out to attempt to assist. Unfortunately I have additional bags from all the yard work from last week... sigh.0 -
I found a great cami on Amazon. (Hollywood Star Fashion - Regular Length Spaghetti Strap Tank Top Camis Basic Camisole Cotton Plain Solid Color) Plug that into Amazon search. I ordered a couple different styles and this one was so soft and comfy I got 5 more in a variety of colors. I normally wear a med but ordered large as comments said they ran a little snug. The lg is perfect! It is a little snug, but I like that as it doesn't gape open when I bend over. I also like that the adjustment on the straps is in the front so no twisting it around to adjust. I will definitely be going back for even more of these.
ldesim, I'll be joining you in trash duty today. It is pouring down rain here, I'm trying to find a small break to get the trash up to the street. I will get to try out my new rain boots though!! I got them just in time!
ETA re the camis, another thing I really like is they aren't overly long, hit just below waist. So many are hip length and I hate tucking them in!0 -
How is Joe's back? I worry that you will overdo, Idesim. I love to hear when you are ironing. I think to myself, I should also be ironing.
In fact, I have not finished my own laundry for the week. Scared to get the week started. The week is going to run away from me. At least the tree is up and decorated.
I will miss my Boris updates! But I will wait for an update from the next new kitty. Fiaranch, it is as if you have always been here. Love that story about the turkey breast and the beef tenderloin. Vegetarian, but my surgeries really cemented it in a way it never had before. After the first one (partial MX) I couldn't stop thinking about myself as 'meat.' Maybe you understand in some way.
Who's in the bag for Z's rads tomorrow? Let's make her super-embarrassed. XXX0 -
I finally remembered to look these up. Self help videos from my Jin Shin lady.0 -
Wow! I have been in Bairnsdale all morning, just got in and thought I'd check to see if anyone has been posting. Realized that the post I did this morning, in answer to all the action when I was sleeping, has disappeared, or never arrived!
Can't remember everything I wrote.
I am in the bag for any appointments! Don't worry Zills, I'll try to keep Bobo nice!
Fieranch, I so understand everything you're saying. Colin and I not only retired early, but we sold up and moved to paradise, for many of the same reasons you're citing. Imagine the shock we got, just as the renovations were finishing, when I went for a routine mammo and then ended up having a Mx. In saying that, I am convinced it was the lifestyle here and the clean salty air that made my recovery so swift and stress free.
Bobo is right, it seems like you've always been here! I find it extraordinary that we have managed to find this little group of like minded people who like to catch up every day.
Gramwe, I'd love to hear how your Thanksgiving went!
gB, I don't "get" the sizing. I am wearing L and XL in all my camis and active wear. I can't understand how Marika says that their size XL is for US 18-20, that's 20-22 in Aus sizing, and I am NOT that size, or even close to it here. I find the Capri or Short leggings in Marika have to be XL, but the long yoga pants L, and all the tops are XL. I still wear a 38 c/d in a bra. So go figure?
ldesim, I am sorry that Joe's hurt his back. I hope he's getting better! You take it easy with the trash, you don't need the two of you laid up!
There's nothing selfish about looking after you!
I had to learn to say "NO" more often, and once I got the hang of it, I felt much better. I say F 'em all too. There's only so much you can do.
Wrenn, I really love the story about the woman whose life changed when she gave up lying!LOL
Being honest will do that for you! What an epiphany that must have been for her!
Bobo, has the countdown started yet? Gosh, I wish I could help you out. You have organized "some" help, haven't you??? Please tell me you have! Just for a little while.
I am going to take some time and really watch the Jin Shin videos. I think it could be good for my Rheumatoid. I have dropped 5mg of cortisone a week and I am really feeling it, but I am determined to reduce it. I have even reduced little Dex's dosage too. I think that is the cause of his fine wispy coat.
It is so hot here today, about 34c, I have the overhead fans going, but I am trying to resist turning on the air-con. We have a cooling wind called the 5 o'clock Doctor, it comes in from the ocean at, well, 5 o'clock. I throw open all the doors across the front of the house and the lovely fresh wind blows right through the house.
Off to get some work done...chat later...M x0 -
We came back from DS & family on Sat because they were predicting floods and snow. Tonight DS sent me a snarky text asking how the floods were (hasn't even rained a drop). So I sent him a text saying we were at Urgent Care getting DH sewn up and included a photo of him with blood and gauze all over. Managed to startle DS who prides himself on being cool. DH fell in the yard and hit his forehead on 2 chimney liners we use as planters. He ended up with 12 stitches, but no concussion.
Did I tell you we went to a rocket shoot on Thanksgiving morning? DS owns a hobby store and taught a class on building rockets. So everyone went to this big open parking lot to shoot them. It was a lot of fun. Just when DS was ready to launch another rocket, a bird flew over and the whole crowd shouted "Don't hurt the bird!" Good thing we didn't. It was an immature bald eagle.0 -
Good on you, DS of Wren! Oooh. Hope your DH is okay. Please give report!
In the bag for our Z this morning!0 -
Hi everyone, I am back from a week's get-away/ Thanksgiving. Wishing everyone a belated Thanksgiving, you women and these boards are on top of my "thankful wishes" this year. Had a good time at son #1 in Wisconsin, dil had a lovely meal and used her antique depression glass dishes that set a beautiful table, wonderful food... I think the roasted brussel sprouts were the best, a little olive oil, garlic and sea salt.. yum.. but the kids didnt really think so!! Went to a Christmas tree farm with them to pick out their tree, played many games of cards, even worked in a nap one day! We also spent a night with son #2, and enjoyed 3 little girls decorating their tree, so basically I am pooped and glad to be home! I know why kids are given to young people!! But love them all.
Welcome Fiaranch1.. yep you fit right in! Wow how i laughed and also felt sad about your story! How can they just burst in a dressing room.. how rude! Glad you gave them Hell! still wondering if I would have taken the 50 dollars?? Bet they dont barge in again!
Idesim.. ouch, hope you dh's back is getting relief, I am suffering with a sore back too, went in son's hot tub and that helped a bit. Hope you dont overdue either.
Wren, OMG, sorry to hear about dh, glad no concussion tho. Rockets, oh sounds like so fun.. or should I say "a blast"? so glad the bald eagle was spared, we see them around here occasionally such a beautiful bird, and speaking of birds, I need to get outside and feed them! Blue Jays are squawking already.
Bobo, you are on my mind daily, thinking about the upcoming surgery, how are you handling everything? how about little pricess and boy? my niece is having surgery on her leg the same day, the muscle has pulled away from bone and she has alot of pain. hope it helps, so I will have positive thought going both ways that day.
Ariom, sorry to hear about Bec, hope she is better now, i am so far behind in reading everything. I did see you say you dont wear contact foob much.. me either, but like you couldnt wait to get it! wondering what will be my next foob... after first of year for insurance purpose.
Zills, thinking of you all week with rads and appts, with you of course.. goes without saying., hope kids stay well too. our 2 year old gd was sick the night before we got there, threw up for 5 hours...but was just fine next morning, hope I didnt find any flu bugs around there, but they werent sure if it was flu, maybe something she ate? who knows, but she is ok.
GrammB.. well winter is here! we are under a storm watch.. predicting anywhere from 5-12 inches of snow and the end of the week we will be in the deep freeze.. -20! Hubby will love it cause he likes to ice fish.. he has been out once and caught the best tasting perch.. we froze them and took them to son's and we all enjoyed a fish fry, nothing as good as fresh fish from cold water!
waiting for gramwe update too.
Spookiesmom.. I know how you felt after eating tg dinner, felt the same way.. maybe that was why I had a nap!
Hope I didnt miss anyone.. dont mean to, better get busy,, alot to catch up on before heading to office. Have a great day all!0 -
An excellent update by our ND! It is going to be seventy here today.
ND, I'm doing okay. Trying to catch pleasant moments as I can, enjoy sleeping on my side, etc. Did a lot of frantic work this weekend. I feel like I'm not going to get it all done -- that's the worst feeling. M, I have cleaning help coming once a week for four weeks, which is an expense, but I don't want to sit there and look at things that are dirty. This is not my hungriest week -- no surprise -- but I'm doing what I can about it.
Just starting my work day. Thinking about Z -- she has big appts this week. I hear her Secret Santa sent her several packages!!0 -
Ariom,
I am convinced I would not be alive had I not retired early . Way too much stress. So yes like you 9 months after retiring and I got cancer again. I see this time as my "2nd chance" I did not learn to take it easy and focus on what was important the first time. All the money in the world is not worth constant stress, I am also convinced that stress played a huge role in both of my BC diagnosis. Each time I got it I was under significant stress.
So now I only stress about how to sell enough on EBAY to afford my new Marika addiction lol. I hear you about the sizes they are crazy . I bought my first few pieces in the stores here locally before I order on line. All I can assume is the sizes they state must be ok for women that like their clothes so tight they cannot breathe (I am way too old for that look ) .
I am now deciding if I am even going to go get professionally fitted for mastectomy bras and prosthesis. All I read says that they are heavy and uncomfortable. I bought a set of Foobs from Mary but have not worn them yet. As I no longer have to get dressed up for work I feel fine just running around flat. I told my son I would get a set just so I would have them in case he EVER got married . He said well don't do it for that reason as they may be old and rotten by the time I ever get married . Also dying to see photos of your Foobmoire (spelling ?) . That post cracked me up !!
Ladies between the Marika site and the zulily site..................... I may never have to visit a dressing room again . Last night a Kohls commercial came on the TV and I had a flashback of the cami experience all over again !!!
Have a great day all !!!0 -
Good afternoon everyone!
Granwe. Did you cook? Any appts coming up for you or OG? Any advice for smoking? DH got a smoker and tells me not to cook this or that because he's going to smoke it. Hasn't done anything yet!
However he did cook the entire turkey dinner last night, loaded the dishwasher and gave the kids a bath. I stirred the gravy, put the rolls and pie in the oven and swept the floor.
Idesim What's in turkey soup? DH would love it. Hope Joe is better and those leaves didn't get you again!
NDgirl. Hope you didn't bring any germs home. Hope you get a nap today. Fresh fish sounds wonderful.
GrammaB and Fiaranch1. Are you two twins separated at birth with your eBay store and marika addiction?
Wren. If you lived closer I could set you up with some very affectionate felines. Firebob (boy named him) is black with a little white on his chest. He lets the baby pull his fur and lay on him. He sleeps in her stroller in the garage and will get in the car.
M. Is there not any hydration stations along the ramps? Poor Dex. Poor you too. I would be very thirsty. Will you be able to walk all summer or does it get too hot and muggy early?
Bobo. Are you feeling better? Spinach and beets are supposed to boost your blood before surgery. We all know the madness, the need to get everything just right but try to do one or two good things for you this week. I know the holidays and end of term are adding more to your list.
Time to nap. Ran errands this morning and have two more stops this afternoon before I get the kids. Maybe squeeze in a couple more online purchases. Good news is leftovers for dinner:)0
