Sorry you girls are having problems with the Se's. I am so grateful not to be taking any of this,'cause I am the poster girl for drug se's, if it has one I will get it. I've had every side effect for every RA drug. Good thing sometimes, I was on Vioox years ago and had this weird stiff neck, sure enough it was one of the rare se's so I stopped taking it, soon after, people started dropping with heart attacks from that very drug.

I can't wait to hear from Bobo either, we're bad. very bad, but isn't it fun! M x

Can't wait until we hear about how the goodies were received!  I hope my goodies get there by the weekend.  Probably won't until Monday.

Glennie-I think my MO wrote that the Fermara had to be non generic which is why my insurance refused it without paper work.

Helenna, if you have been on Arimidex for 6 weeks and haven't had any SE's, you are doing wonderfully.  I couldn't get past 15 days!  I am sure it is working.

Hi Sgc! 1pm here, just getting lunch. Beautiful day, I have been out and there is a band and Rock&Roll dancing demonstrations down on the foreshore. We have a big bike race that begins here today, so there is a carnival atmosphere and the streets are blocked off.  M x

Thanks Glennie, now you've got me humming that tune again ! I got rid of it yesterday. LOL

My goodies won't be there. I tried to buy from local sweet shop to Bobo's Dad and have delivered so it wouldn't take forever from here, but they wouldn't accept my payment on the internet. I sent an email but they haven't answered me yet. I'll enjoy hearing about all of yours though! Then mine can arrive a little later, when least expected, that might just twist the knife a little..baaaaaahahahah

I am allergic to many medications also... that's why I have been so hesitant to take the Arimidex.   I know I should at least try it....but it will only decrease my recurrence rate by 6%.   It's easy for me to say it's not worth it..but if a recurrence does appear, I suppose I will always wonder 'what if'.   I get to a point where I can't think about this stuff anymore.  I want to just live my life, because the constant worry makes life not very enjoyable.

You guys and your evil cookie ways!   You're all going straight to h-e- double toothpick!

    Morning all! Beautiful day here!

Getting ready to take Dex for a walk, will check back later. Hoping for some news from Bobo about how the invalid is...no not her Father, but the weight loss queen! Not being allowed any real sustenance, must have hit home by now and I would expect the whining to have begun in earnest! I  know we are evil, but I need to know!!! Time to check in Bobo, we are hanging out to hear!

Checking to see if any update from Bobo, not yet.

To anyone to is on arimidex that is expensive there is a site called rxbate.com and you can get a coupon for a year and usually all you have to pay is $5.oo per month's supply. We do this for dh's expensive diabetes meds, but when he goes on Medicare they wont accept coupons.

Went to Canada today with a friend to The Honey and Garlic Festival! good food and good music too. Lots of vendors selling things plus Farmers Market and of course they sell honey and garlic.. how original! had fun tho.

I love to hear that "I went to Canada today!" it gets me every time! lol

Honey and garlic festival, I love them both. I want to try to grow my own garlic, does anyone have any tips? I am scared of the massive Bee Hive in the wall of the shed next door! I shouldn't complain I guess, they are all over our fruit trees when they blossom, that's a good thing. We can hear the hum of the bees coming from the trees right up at the front door. It is so loud and the tree is just alive with bees.

Colin is stitching my photos from my walk together, for me to post. I want to show you the beginning of Spring! Be back soon!

Thanks Zills, I am disappointed that I didn't get a reply from the shop I wanted to buy from. It wouldn't accept my payment from Aus and I hoped they would answer my query. I will try again on Monday. M x

Yes, eagerly awaiting news of the cookie bomb.

We've decided to go pick up Squeakers tomorrow. He's our former foster who was adopted and returned. He's now at the shelter and down with the shelter cold. He looks absolutely miserable. We're going to keep him in the spare room until he's well and then see if we can integrate him into the household. Maybe I'll get 2 Feliway collars and see if that keeps things mellow. They're supposed to give off pheromones that make them feel comfortable. It would be awesome if they just played with each other and liked each other. In the past we've had cats that got along just fine and two that divided the house and stayed in their half.
