Bitch GYN!!  They give you GOOD drugs when you have a baby.  IV DRUGS!!  Don't BS me, doctor. I know these things. And epidurals,, let's not forget those.  So I don't want any crap that pushing a baby out of your vagina is worse than a biopsy.  Give my friend the good drugs.

I'm thinking cheesecake bomb when it gets cooler??  Towards Thanksgiving or Christmas?  Junior's is most awesome cheesecake.  My friend is going to NYC next month with her sister (not me,, WTF??) and asked for places to go and eat. So my mind gravitated towards Junior's in Grand Central. So I had to look up the website and was reminded that they mail!  All kinds of flavors, Bobo.  Maybe there is apple or pumpkin flavor for Thanksgiving? Chocolate for Christmas? Let us know what Dad would like.    Then I think a total candy bomb for Halloween. More licorice,,and anything else you would suggest. This is da bomb, baby!!

I miss NY food too. *jealous my friend is going w/o it*  Wants to know where to eat in Little Italy. A neighborhood I rarely ventured in cuz there is SO MUCH other good food.

S:  what's up with friend going thru rough patch?  Sorry to hear. Junior's is awesome present.

I'm just rambling now,, oh, I think I missed some posts again.

Hey Glennie, you go girl! We'll teach that bitch assed Gyn! Probably did the same as me and the dear Joan Rivers, when she gave birth, holding arm out for the drugs and saying "Wake me up when the hairdresser shows!"

I have been known to do a Shirley MacLaine for Bobo when she was in Hospital.shreiking at the Nurses station....Give her the drugs...nooooooooow!!!!!!

Go, M,, do the Shirley MacLaine!    With all the drugs out there, there is NO reason why anyone has to be in pain for such a procedure. Especially when you have been thru it once already, and knows how painful it is.  That's uber stressful and a patient should be relaxed, not stressed for procedures.

Off to shop for gingers,, the candy,, not the redheaded men,, although if I find one of those,, I'll bring him home.  SillyHeart

    Oh Sgc, are you ok?

Love it Aroim, give them your Shirley M. Cannot beleive there is not a drug for Bobo, not believing that. Glennie, give them hell from a knowing nurse!!

All the talk about NY food is making me hungry, only been there once but with someone that knew the city and we ate good. I am not a big cheesecake fan, like a little tho, but would love to try Juniors. There is the best bakery in the little town in Canada ( I know.. I popped up to Canada again) and I would have loved to send him some butter pecan tarts.. they just melt in your mouth but new owners took over and not as good anymore, hopefully the end of month another new owner takes over. They have lost all the business because they dont in house bake, just bring it in from somewhere else.. and Canadians dont stand for that. Most little towns up there have their own little bakeries, which I love!!!

    Take care all.

I'm a pharmacist, ND,, I know my drugs!  And I say,, give Bobo drugs!  Don't make me get all crazy ass bitch on you, you damn dicktor. I'll wear white coat and M will wear her YSL power suit. **IV drugs**

Junior's cheesecake is magically rich!!  Raspberry swirl was a fave of mine, but they seem to have a lot of new flavors. I liked the place in Grand Central, cuz you could just go there and buy a slice.

Too bad about the bakery,, hope the new owners improve it.  Damn, I love it when you pop up to Canada. It's snowing up there!  My friend's hubby is going to MN later in the month to see his family and sometimes he flies into Rapid City depending on plane fares. I called him yesterday to report SNOW in Rapid City. WTF??? it's still 90+ down here!!

Sorry you lost the veg to frost. Sucks.

The Princess did not want to walk this AM. Don't know why. Wasn't raining or wet ground. Going to try again now.

Oh, and I just wanted to mention, from the other thread, that on top of everything our ND (sneaky one that she is) was talking about FROZEN CUCUMBERS.  It has turned into an outrageous Weimar sex porn thread over there.  **refreshing**

So grateful for all this Shirley M planning.  No IV allowed.  Getting through by thinking that Glennie and I are going to determine a plan to overmedicate me (but safely within the realm of overdose).  I am so sick of being lowballed by these shitful dicktors.  And, you know, I am a lightweight.  I am drunk on like one beer.  So if they are lowballing me they are super-lowballing.  Went to last biopsy stone-cold sober.  **post-traumatic stress disorder**

Susan, are you okay?  And your friends?  XXX  Z, no housework for you?  Just got home.  I bought a lot of cleaning products.  That is almost like cleaning, right?

    Morning all!

    What's going on over here?

That's a plan, Bobo, Glennie can give you an idea of what to take to the biopsy, stick it to the Dicktor and self medicate!

Buying cleaning products and hoping they may do it themselves, that's novel!

Glennie, you're on a mission to get that Ginger!

Ndgirl, popping over to Canada, I will never tire of that, so exotic and snow????

All this talk about New York, I kick myself for never going, when I had so many chances! I know I would love it.

    Sgc, you Ok?

Last night was fun with everyone on at the same time!

Beautiful day here, going to try to finish the veggie patch today. M x

No we have no snow, but got frost last night, Rapid City is in SD, not ND but saw where Deadwood SD and Rapid City got snow but it wont last long, probably gone now.

Glennie, sorry for some reason I thought you were nurse, but hey pharmacist is great! now we have an expert here to ask ?? about our drugs, my ds college roomate is one also and we are always asking him ??

Has anyone ever had an experience with bio-feedback? a friend went to one in a close by larger town. Not sure If I think there is any merit to it or not... please answers if you have any?? sounded very interesting.

Bobo, frozen cukes... you are so BAD!! but I love it.

I'm just always amused when there is snow somewhere,, and I'm in the 90's down here.

M:  you would love NY. All the shopping!!  You should plan a trip in early Dec.. when the stores have the Christmas displays in the windows and the tree is up in Rockefeller Center. It's so lovely.  One day we should plan a convention for us up there!  Happy

ND, whatever do you mean by frozen cukes being bad?  **blinks innocently**

On the subject of biofeedback, which I have never done, but I would totally do, the holistic spa near my second job has a 'bed' called a... well, I don't know what it's called, but it's supposed to clear toxins and provide you with positive ions, or something like that.  They put you on it when you have any service (like a facial).  I think, budget allowing, I will have a (first ever) facial before my next sx.  And then it will be on this magic detoxifying bed.

Would love NY convention.  Need to go to Eileen Fisher in person.  We could go to Green Eileen!

    I love that place.

I want to go to Souen.  The one near NYU, not the one near 6th Avenue.  I want to get brunch box B.  And I want to go to Rice on the Lower East Side.  It's a whole restaurant of rice.

Let me look up this magic bed...

Can you have this?  Would it be good for LE?

    Contouring Body Wrap

Formulated to encourage circulatory and lymphatic flow. Promotes healthy inch loss and cellulite reduction through internal cleansing with an all natural wrapping process

OMG, I am totally going to have this:

Bio Cleanse Ionic Detox Foot Bath

Enhance your energy and health with this warm foot bath that results in the purging of toxins and nucleic waste generated in the cells. The ions absorb into the body through the 4000 pores on the bottom of the feet, attach to toxins and then are released into the water.

What about this?  Good for lymph system?

Bio Cleanse Detox Treatment with Cupping

Rubber cupping encourages lymphatic detoxification and has proven to quickly alleviate muscle tension, cellulite and pain while reducing inflammation and water retention. Combine cupping with the Bio Cleanse Ionic Detox Foot Bath.

    The magic bed:

The BioMat is a "pad" which lies on top of a massage table or your home mattress. It converts electricity through a computerized control panel, into Far Infrared Rays (FIR), natures invisible light. FIR was discovered by NASA to be the safest, most beneficial light wave for the body; it helps reduce swelling, increase blood flow, has been shown to destroy cancer and viral cells without harming surrounding healthy cells. It penetrates 6-8 inches into the innermost recesses of the body, stimulating the healing and regeneration of nerves and muscle tissue layers. The negative ions emitted by the BioMat are considered the "Master Power Switch" which activate the body's entire cellular communication system and make every body function work better. The amethyst crystals in the upper layer of the mat are found to offer the steadiest and most powerful delivery of healthy far infrared light waves.

seems like foot bath would be ok. Getting rid of toxins,,,, yeah,,,,,,Not sure about them wrapping my whole body.

used to be a great Vietnamese place I liked too,, one on Upper West side, small and cramped but for some reason, better than the bigger place on the Upper East side. Go figure. Saigon Grill?  Think that was the name.  And there was this Argentina steak place,, that made the BEST avocado salad and flan and caramel sauce,, home made,, simply awesome. And had great steak too. Amsterdam and 101,, something like that??  Been gone too long,, memory is shot.

Tried most of those, not to enamored with full body wrap, but have done the detox thing with all kinds of mud, been scrubbed hard with Himalayan sea salt, foot spas and electrical light therapy. Had lots of magnetic therapy too. I run a negative Ion machine at home, for clean air, always had one for Bec's asthma, it takes the dust right out of the air and makes the room feel like just before a storm.

I want to do New York, so bad! Spa and food and shopping, these are a few, of my favorite things, humming that tune!

You and Glennie should so, do that and then report back about how good it was. M x

If it's so wonderful, why isn't mainstream Western medicine offering it? Why doesn't insurance cover it?

Convince me it's not a scam.

Spookie, I think it's a scam too. They claim too many things for it. It might be a pleasant experience, but I doubt all the other benefits. Facials are wonderful. I've had a couple and loved them. Not really in my budget tho.

Bobo, They have a green Eileen here in Seattle somewhere. I plan to hit it one day. In the meantime I found a pair of EF pants that need new elastic in the waist. Not hard to replace at all. Oh, and they need hemming, of course. I have to hem petites. I scored a really nice fleece jacket last year and need to get the sleeves done on it.
