Bobo, an Autumn theme sounds magnificent. I just love the sound of that dress, and the sepia color is one of my favourites too. I am hoping I may find a paper tafetta, or silk dress in a similar paler, cream or tea stain tone. Our baby could have a coronet of Autumn leaves with flowers in her hair......too much? Just stop me if you're not going with this, I can easily be diverted if necessary. Keeping in mind I am taking pot luck here at the opp shops! Ahh..... now for the boy, a dapper outfit...this is a first for me. I have never sourced an outfit for a small boy. I'll be onto it as soon as I get measurements.

Bring on next Sunday! M x

Zills, Have a great day at the the park. I love to barbque, sorry Bobo! I am not a great red meat eater, but as I said before we love kangaroo, and seafood.

I hope the weather stays a little cooler for you, and that you can get a good rest.

I have never heard of banana bread with choc chips, but I love chocolate. One of Colin's atttendants has started bringing home made stuff when she comes. I gave her a big bag of clothing from my clear out, so she is making cookies and rocky road every week. I can't help myself. If it is there I will eat it. Colin has far more willpower than I do.

I am going to drive into town later. Our next big town is about 12 minutes away along a beautiful scenic road. It is gorgeous right now at the start of Winter, with all the English trees bare, and the native Aussie ones with great color. There are farms, with cattle, and Lake King, along the road, plus a section of river with homes that have a steep garden going right down to their own jetty. We live on Lake Victoria, another big lake, and there is another one that makes up this big lake district. We are only divided from the ocean by dunes that we can see in the distance. We are about 3 1/2 hours from Melbourne, where Bec lives. I can't wait to see her, she'll be here on the 15th till the 21st....yay!

The rest of my day, after geting Colin up, and a quick trip into town, if I can be bothered, will be finishing the clear out I started yesterday. I have been dreading it, but I just turned up the music and got into it. I'll do the same today.

We have started the ball rolling on the rest of the renovations that stopped when I had my surgery. Monday morning, more tiling, and tile sealing in the bathrooms. Then the painters, and the renderer. It shouldn't take too long, I hope, and hopefully not much mess. When this is all out of the way, I want to do up the little boat shed. That will be the final project on the house.

I hope you have a lovely weekend Zills, I'll be thinking of you! M x

Had a lovely dinner with workmates and friends who took me out in celebration.  I wish they had waited a couple of weeks, because I am still fatigued and sore at the "area".  I have a lot of discomfort from the skin tightening up, I swear I have less range of motion now, than I did after surgery.  I didn't order any drinks, but I did sip here and there from drinks around me lol... I am not really a drinker and since I have no idea if it is safe for me to drink I didn't chance it.  Another quiet weekend planned close to home.

I'll catch up with you gals tomorrow :) xo

Bobo.. I wish you much happiness! and the dress sounds wonderful, love those colors any time of year.

Gramwe.. dont like the weasel moving in either, hope your daughter keeps her senses alert for his behavior.

Zills: have fun camping and doing something normal! enjoy and just kick back for awhile if you can.

Ariom: well I finally got my contact amoena foob yesterday,, just in time for my husbands birthday party last nite, we met his siblings at a restuarant in the country called " Grandpa's Cabin" very rustic, logs, etc. and great food for a decent price. Of course i cant wear it against my chest yet but I put the soft backing on and I liked it! Altho i think the bra the ditzy gal sold me at the fitting may be a little small as it seems tight if I wear it too long, but maybe just because i havent worn one for so long could be the issue too. Do you ever wear yours and not contacted to you? It doesnt seem too heavy anyway. but time will tell how all this plays out.

News flash// I have been sleeping a LITTLE better lately.. not great but better, guess baby steps is a good start. maybe it is all the positive energy that I feel I receive from these boards.. I am addicted!

ldesim, I wish they had waited a little longer for you to feel a bit more recovered, but I love the sentiment. They were just so happy for you, they couldn't wait!

I am so sorry that you are having the discomfort in that "area" too. I am sure it will improve with time. Don't you just hate that, but it is true, everything gets better with time.

Speaking of time, it is almost 1pm, and Colin is still fast asleep. No breakfast in bed this day. I got up, did the Rites and had my usual smoothie. I have been messing about all morning. It will be dinner in bed for Colin at this rate, but he must have been tired to sleep this long. I didn't even make it to town, not to worry, as I said there is time to do that tomorrow.

Have a lovely relaxing weekend at home, take care of you!  M x

ndgirl! You got your Contact! I am so pleased for you.

I still haven't worn mine contacted to me. I decided that I wouldn't do that, even though I am past the 6 month mark, till I saw my surgeon for the check up. I am sure all is well, but I don't want to risk it till he gives me the go ahead.

I have also bought a truckload of bras. Some just seem to hit the sensitive spots, and I agree, some feel tight. I bought a bra extender, just to give a little more length to the ones that are a bit firm. I have found that I am getting feeling back to a lot of areas that I thought were lost forever, and the "Claw" is getting less and less. I think it may be the Rites that are helping all this along too, not sure, but grateful for whatever it is. As I said before, it may just be time!

I have collected such an array of Foobs. I have bought some on Ebay, all new, and some from stores in the USA. You get them much cheaper than we do.

I have been wearing a microbead one called "Jillianna", designed by a breast nurse. I have been wearing a Bamboo Fiber Ahh Bra style, with it, and have found it so comfortable. I still wear a normal silicone if I am a bit more dressed up, or if I have a fine sweater or T Shirt on. I have decided that there is no absolutely "Perfect" foob for all situations, although the "Contact" is still my favourite. I now have my "Foobmoire" with the collection in it. I have to work out how to put a picture up on this site for you all, I think you'd get a good laugh out of my arrangement.

Damn it, someone just came to the door, selling something dumb, and Dex woke Colin up. I'll get him some brunch, and be back soon.....M x

So what exactly is a microbead boob? is it heavy? but the bamboo bra sounds good. also thanks for the tip about bra extender. I have been using the Genie bras because they are soft and I am not that far out yet. They dont have much support but comfy otherwise. I saw someone mentioned that they got breast forms at Walmart.. guess i have never looked but may have to. Just for kicking around the house in winter something like that might be a choice. I am afraid I might have a collection of foobs too.. but not as many as you!! Darn, not that I wouldnt like to. Our house is not all that large and I need more closet space now!! well I will find a place for the boxes of boobs! oh my, never thought I would have to worry about such a thing! well life is never fair to anyone.

Thanks for the response. I better close and try for some more sleep!

Hi ndgirl! I am sure you'll be sleeping now. Colin is still in bed watching the SciFi station eating lots of snacks. I doubt I will be getting him up at all today! I think we may have dinner in bed on a big tray, and watch a movie. At least I can decide what time I want to go to bed. It is one of the few things I miss, going to bed when I feel like it!

I have almost finished the clear out. I can see the end in sight. I will have another big load for the opp shops, and a lot for Ebay too, but where to store it all till i can get motivated to do the work involved to list. I can't believe how much stuff I brought here, and paid to freight it, only to clear it all out now. I just didn't have the time to go through everything while co-ordinating work on the old house and a 4 week selling campaign before the Auction. We were also driving here every two weeks to see how the renovations were going.

Anyway, I digress. The microbead Foobs are a lightweight alternative to the silicone  ones, and work well in the Genie type bras. They can be weighted if you want. Mary on Mastectomy Solutions has the pattern and the directions to make your own. I also have a Jillianna which I bought from Ebay. I bought it from a guy who must have bought a job lot of these "Foobs" he usually sells tools and engineering type stuff, but he was very helpful when I contacted him about buying one. I really needed to get a size larger, but he only has smaller ones now. They are a very good buy at I think $25.00 or thereabouts. Normal price is about $90+ I believe.

I still can't wait to wear my Contact, I will let you know how it goes. I think I will just aim for an hour or so each day to get used to it. I have bought a bandeau bra, with a removable halter strap that I hope will work with it. If not, I have a couple of my old bras that I just couldn't part with, yet. I'llsee how they go.

I don't really have the room for all this stuff either! Poor Colin has a small section of our walk in robe, I have the rest, and I scored what had been built as a sewing room, for the original owner's wife. I use it as a dressing room. It has a pull out couch so it can be a spare room too. Once I get all the cupboards organised it will be much easier. Hopefully, if I don't finish tonight, I'll be done tomorrow.

I have wasted a lot of time sitting on the flooor going through photos as I come across them. Lots of reminiscing, and a few tears......it's a good thing!

I'll be back later...I usually catch Zills at  about 10pm our time when she is getting up. Take care now...M x

Good morning Ariom. Yes the baby and I are up. I took her on my walk and exercises this morning. Glad Colin had a lie in. Was Dex enjoying it too? What's rocky road?

The boys are sleeping in. The boy shouldn't be hungry as he ate a lot last night. Must be growing. Will be interesting to see if he outgrows his new shoes this summer.

The baby has a snotty nose. Hope it's just allergies. She's busy pushing around his booster seat and making it tip over.

We're not camping. My friend has a big RV and we're invited over. I did alot of tent camping in college. My husband went once. It rained and the site was rocky. He said never again. The boy would love to sleep in a tent. Maybe this fall in the backyard. Depends on my treatments.

I can't imagine wearing a bra now but I had both taken and was very small to begin with. I don't like the feel of any of the tight fitting tanks that are popular right now and they aggravate the port. I've been looking for a white shirt but no luck. I have too many requirements.

However I haven't checked alot of stores. I'm just now getting out and I want to go everywhere but I have to pace myself. I'm also distracted by kids stuff.

Nd glad you're sleeping a little better.

Bobo hope you can keep your secret a little longer.

Idesim. Hope you're not too tired after your celebration last night. Maybe you can have a pj day today.

Granwe. Good luck cooking. Bet you're up early so the house doesn't get hot. Hope your secret weapon is a crock pot. It seems you can make everything in it.

Hello Zills, I was just about to go to bed, but decided to check if you 'd been here!

Dex has divided his time today between Colin and me. He snoozes and plays with Colin and then comes in to me and flops down for a snooze beside me. He didn't get out today, so I'll need to do a big walk tomorrow.

I have dragged this clearout long enough. I kept finding things to look at and read. Speaking of childrens shoes,  I found Rebeccas first walking shoes, so funny, the soles are perfect but the toes are rubbed where we would hold her hands and swing her.

I love the sound of the big RV, I am with your husband, camping is not my thing either. I went once, too. My ex husband still tells people that my idea of roughing it, is staying in a Hotel "without" a shopping mall attached. He's not far wrong:)

Rocky Road is a slice made with chocolate, marshmallows, sutanas, and glace cherries. One of Colin's attendant carers has been bringing it. I can't stop eating it.

I bought two shirts when I was about to have surgery. So many people told me I wouldn't be able to lift my arm, or put anything over my head, so I was prepared. As it turned out, I had no trouble with my range of motion at all, but I got a lot of wear out of the shirts all the same. I bought the man style, with some stretch elastane in the cotton, one black and one white. I just rolled the sleeves to the elbow, and wore them with jeans or capris. I wore a tank under them because of the other boob, but if I were flat, I wouldn't bother with the tank. I also had a fine linen scarf that I would drape over the front if I went out.

I hope you can have a relaxing time with your friends, and the children are well. I hope the little one isn't coming down with anything. It would be allergy weather though. Fingers crossed!

Take care..I'll be back in the morning..stay cool and have a lovely weekend....M x

Lost my post. I was checking bra prices for my sister at Kohls. They have a section called bra accessories. Who knew? Fancy straps, bands to wick away moisture, extenders, even add-a-cup inserts. Mini foobs? I think most had to be ordered online but they have a great return policy.

Good day. Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful day/night. Listen, can you hear the silence? OG has been dropped off for a play date with his friends, hes only allowed to watch the others play, it gave him the chance to be out of the house and me silence. The lawn was conquered yesterday, by ME, in about 3 hours. The whole lawn! Something my son nor the OG has been able to do all spring/summer. They would either cut the back or the side yard and front promising to finish the next day. Drove me insane. I do feel a bit guilty, after my neighbors husband passed away, I would do hers too but I didn't want to overdo yesterday. She does have grown children that could do it for her if they would get off their lazy behinds.

Enough ranting, lets talk engagement/wedding. Bobo fall flowers for the hair would be so beautiful. Can't wait to hear the details of the proposal. Romance just makes my old heart flutter.

Zills and Moira, I'm with you, camping should be done in a nice large RV with running water, soft beds, and heat or air conditioning. They idea of something slithering into bed is not appealing at all.

Out to pull some weeds, cut some poison ivy, and slay any dragons that might cross my way. Hugs

I'm in the other camping group. When I was younger, I loved to backpack. I like the silence and views. We had a lab/shepherd mix that would carry her dog food, our sneakers, and an extra liter of water in her pack. The extra water gave us a wider range of choices. Our only scary experience was when the dog, who was sleeping next to me in the tent, woke me up with her teeth chattering in fear. We started making noise and whatever it was went away. DH went outside the tent and said he could smell something wild. Our best guess was cougar. I think a bear would have made more noise.

ND girl, I would start with foam or fiberfill foobs. The microbead ones are very light, but hard. They're fine once you're healed. I just went to my mastectomy store and they let me trade in my size 7 foob for a size 6. The size 6 was previously owned, but looks brand new. Now both sides match. So I have one silicone, one microbead which I made myself, and one nylon net foob for my swim suits. Just put the pocket in my new one yesterday. I made the nylon net swim foob out of a bath poof. Couldn't follow the instructions I found, but coiled it into a snail and sewed it by hand to stay in that shape. Only the silicone foob needs it's own box. The others can be thrown into a drawer.

Wren and Ariom, thanks for the advice.. Wren I like the nylon net foob idea for swimming but do they have to have some weight to them?, we do have a pool in town and it is open but the water isnt heated so I dont like cold water! maybe wait til August to hit it. Will have to look into the micrbead. I have been wearing the softees for the first 2 months but have a problem with weight, my other boob is 38 D so not small! Sometimes I think I should have removed both but most of the time I dont feel like that.. anyone else do the flip flop like me? Zills, bet you dont think about a bra, take your time.Busy morning, cleaned out 3 flowers beds of grass and weeds, think I will put off mowing until Monday. Beautiful day here in ND so we are off to golf in Canada! They have a great golf course about 20 minutes away. This is the first time I have attempted to swing a club.. see how it goes.. I generally have good range with my surgery side.

Gramwe.. if I was closer I would love to help you mow, we have a huge amount to do, have a rider and push, lots of work but I like to be outside.

Ariom, I like the idea of a day sleeping in, watching movies, I think Collin and I would get along, I love Alfred Hitchcock, on encore mystery channel he is on for an hour every nite, love how the end twist happens in every show. Like his movies too..

Moira, you must be getting excited, your friends will be here soon.  I forget is Bec coming at the same time or a bit after?    I am laughing because I did very much the same thing, my old apartment, we lived in for 21 years and we just had so much crap accumulated.  Paid movers to haul it all over to the new house (around the block btw) and most of it is sitting in the basement.  Maybe now that I have more free time without all the Dr. appts. I can either do a yardsale or sell it on Craiglist or Ebay.

I wouldn't enjoy somebody in the house either.. how long are they there each day and do you have one girl or a couple of girls?

Uh oh, Dex is banned from the bed.. where does darling Dex sleep at night?

I too love to BBQ... everything tastes so good BBQ'd.  I like good old fashioned charcoal.. Joe prefers the gas grill. One of the many things we are total opposites over :)

Ndgirl, I hate cold water as well... I can't even imagine myself going swimming anymore, but I am sure like all things, in tIme I will feel comfortable. And for the record, I do nothing but flip flop.. should I have the other removed.. should I get reconstruction.. I try not to drive myself crazy with it.  I too know that I will end up with a boob box collection and I'm in the same situation, my house is so small any kind of collection is cluttered.

SOOOO Happy to hear you are sleepng better!!!  I hope it continues for you.

Ariom, I love all you said for the baby!  Definite 'yes' to the coronet of flowers and leaves.  She is going to be perfect in that.  I am having fun 'taking my chances' at the opp shop.  It's not that big of a thing.. DS just needs shirt and pants!  Hoping you think it is fun -- don't be scared!  It's exciting.

Granwe, I am excited too!  I am 'busting' waiting for Sunday.  Just went to the department store today for underthings, they are having a big sale.  I am going to surprise everyone with new underthings for the trip!  And I was getting odds and ends -- wrapping paper -- for other parts of the birthday celebration.

Granwe, I am worried about all of this lawnmowing!  But happy about the OG playdate.  Tell us the 'claw didn't show up!  Like to think of you having a big beverage, in the quiet, maybe eating some contraband chocolate... I will tell you details of the 'proposal' when it happens.  What is this, our... I don't even know.  We did NYC city hall domestic partnership -- back on the subway right after to our little jobs!  Our 'real' NYC wedding was after that in Central Park, in a rowboat, just the two of us.  No minister, nothing.  Then we did Seattle domestic partnership to share health benefits -- but that was just signing a paper.  Then I had another lump in... Ariom, it wasn't 2008, that was my first surgery, it was 2010, so we had a wedding at a rescue pig farm in NJ -- they have civil unions.  We did it in case DLLP needed official visitation rights.  So... none of this was 'gay marriage.'  This will be the first one!  Federal rights.

Love thinking about nd and Colin watching Hitchcock movies!  Nd, keep Colin in a good mood, will you?  I don't want him to be mad about all of the bracelets I bought.  :)

Ariom, is the rocky road 'slice' a slice of cake?  Or a slice of fudge?  Mouth is watering.

Zils, you are you feeling?  Get all the rest your body asks for.  I love banana bread.. and I hate nuts... choco chips sounds divine.. raisins would be good too.. especially golden ones.  Now I have a craving for banana bread lol.

The campground sounds like fun.. hope you have a good time. I've never really been camping.. the whole tent thing is a turn off.. but an RV I could do.  Joe would love to buy one, I suppose it would be a great way to travel..... Joe would  love to buy a lot of things and they all have motors and wheels.

Wren, omg.. for the dog to have been shaking it must have been something awful, you say cougar and bear so calmly.. I would have been freaking out!

I'm glad you were able to trade in your foob and now have a matching set haha.. what a great idea with the pouf!  That's the perfect solution for swimming.. I am totally stealing that idea ;)

Had a polish change on my pedicure.  It is a new natural English kind called Butter.  It's a good punk blue.   It's called Artful Dodger.

Ooh!  And had my bad-ass tattoo consult today.  Forty minutes!!  What's on the coffee table?  DLLP wants take-out.  XXX

Gosh, you girls have been so busy!

I have woken to a gorgeous still sunny day, but don't be fooled, it is freezing.

Zills, I love checking out Kohls online, but they won't let me buy with my Oz creditcard. To buy from them I need to use MyUS personal shopper. I like some of the Vera Wang Tshirts and Tops. I spent a few hours shopping Kohls when I was in Chicago for work, years ago.

How is the baby doing? Sniffles gone? Did you sleep well? M x

    Gramwe, remember when I said you're a dynamo? Well, you're a dynamo!

I am so impressed with your tenacity, and your energy! 3 hours of mowing, that's something.

I know what you mean about doing the neighbours mowing. I am sure she'll understand why you're not doing it, let the kids do it!

A play date for the OG, I love that. I am the same, when Colin goes out model boat racing, or to our boat for the day while the boys work on her, I relish the quiet. Not that Colin is noisy, it is just nice to have the place to oneself.

I hope you've finished the hard, yard work now, and managed to get in a nice rest in before the play date ended. Is there any improvement in the hand now?

    Take care now...M x

Wren, I love that, a dog that carries it's own things, as well as some of mine!

That story of the "Something Wild" gives me, the shivers. We don't have anything really big here, other than wild pigs that would strike fear into me. We do have a few scary snakes and spiders. The thought of coming face to face with a bear would preclude me from any real outdoorsy pursuits. At least our "excuse" for a bear, the Koala, they aren't actually bears, only pee on you from a height, and only really get aggressive if you corner them. Not something to fear.

You're getting  a bit of a "Foob" collection happening there too, wren. I am going to have a go at the shower poof thing too, even though I have a pair of Amoena swim forms. I bought from ebay, they were selling in pairs. I got the two for less than half the price of one, in the US stores, and I hate to think how much they are here.

    Have a great weekend1  M x

Ndgirl, you're out working in the garden too. I am still just raking the leaves her. Everything is dormant for the Winter, so not even a lot of weeds here.

I am with you, I hate cold water swimming, but I love water aerobics. There was a pool just down the road from here that was an indoor heated pool, and gym, but it closed. I drive past it every day and wonder what happened. I would have definitely joined and used it.

I just love the sound of that, "I am going golfing in Canada!" I have never made it to Canada, how special is that! You can just drive there whenever you want. I am so envious, I'd love to do that.

Oh, I love Hitchcock too! I also love the idea of a slob day in bed. I was too busy yesterday, and will be the same today, to finish this clear out. At least it will all be done.

Tomorrow, the tiler is coming, so I need a good clear space for him in the laundry.

    Take care...chat soon......M x

Ariom: just back from golfing.. did ok as far as swinging arm and didnt pull chest at all, gues my excercises paid off. Yes, we go to Canada very often, in fact our oldest son was born in Canada, that was when our insurance would pay up there and I grew up in this area and we always did our doctoring up there. Everyone says how horrible their medical system is but ya know what?? dont see them dieing in the streets! of course it is far from perfect and I am so thankful that I am able to access Mayo Clinic /Hospital but Canadians dont lose their homes, savings, land, etc when a catastrophe in the health dept. hits them. Also they dont lose everything if they have to go into nursing home like we do unless you carry nursing home insurance and who will insure a gal with breast cancer. Canada is very much like us but with an English flare, lots of little tea shops, good bake shops but I think their food is more like us, I was not impressed with food while we were in England except for pastries and bread and of course tea.. we drink alot of tea at our house. Well hubby is starting a bon-fire in our backyard and it is a beautiful night here.. Happy times to all my new bc friends, isnt it just amazing how we are scattered all over this world and still have this common thread that holds us together to suppport each other.

ldesim, you're right, I am getting excited about the girls coming. It's on the 8th that they come. One of them is a friend from my late teens, when we both worked in a band booking agency, and then later, I worked with her husband who is an Australian Icon Radio Announcer and  TV presenter. The other is a girlfriend from when I worked in TV, with the other girlfriend's husband. We worked together on lots of projects, and in daily TV production. Her husband was a News Cameraman who has recently gone out on his own doing freelance work. They are both younger than me, and had their children much later, but they have both been wonderful friends for nearly 40 years.

Bec is coming on the 15th for 6 days. I truly can't wait to see her!

We have three different girls who have a roster to come for an hour to get Colin up in the morning. I put him to bed at night, and there are two nights a week where he has what I call medical night. His system doesn't work as normal,  so he has two clearing nights that girl is here for 2.5 hours. The girls are great, but it is still an imposition at times.

I was grateful for them right after my surgery because they did my nights for a while, so I could heal without any chance of a pulled muscle or a problem with skin attachment.

Although I am used to all the aspects of Colin's care, and do it all alone if we are traveling or the girls are sick, it was a bit too much in the first month or so. Colin is very aware too, and didn't want me to have any setbacks.

We are fortunate to have some funding to help with his care. We also have some help with the garden, and housework for a few hours a month. He also needs stretching and physio. It all works out, Colin is so easy going, the girls love him, and he makes them all feel like family. He just had his 36th year in a wheelchair anniversary a few weeks ago.

Dex sleeps in our room in a curved closed in basket with a sheepskin that he loves. He is allowed on the bed when it is daylight and usually curls up behind Colin. He never wakes us, but as soon a s he knows I am awake he loves to lie across my chest with his head under my chin. He is what I call an OCD Dog. He has so many rituals that have to be performed. He cracks me up.

I haven't flip flopped at all. I really don't have any problem being a Uni! I think I have my Mother to thank for that. She had a radical Mx in '94 just after my Dad died. I was so used to seeing her scar, I looked after her when she was Dx with Dementia years after the Mx. Mum also had a brillliant sense of humour about being a "Uni". She was a beautiful very sophisticated well dressed woman, but she never let it affect her.

She never had a recurrence that we knew of. We never put her through the testing after getting the Dementia.

    You take care now....M x

Ok. I'm taking a poll. I'm 8 weeks out from a BMX. I can't imagine push mowing unless it was flat. Wouldn't be pulling weeds or swinging a club unless I wanted the claw. Am I a wimp? Do I need to exercise more? I try not to pick up the baby or change her diaper. And I won't give her a bath. Should I just suck it up? Be honest.

My husband thinks I should be able to watch her during the day. I know everyone is different but I don't feel I'm that far out surgery wise from some of you. It's definitely gotten better but I don't want to overdo it. I've only be able to sleep on my side for a nap. Otherwise I'm propped up at night.

Bobo, I feel like I have been writing all morning. It's another novel! As I say, that's what you get when you aske me questions!

You are a sweetie, I am so glad you are happy with my thoughts. I just have to manifest them now!

It is fun! I am excited.

Rocky road is all the marshmallow and fruit held together with chocolate, not a fudge,or a cake really.

I use Butter, polish these days too! I was always an OPI girl, and then I got into Leighton Denny from London, and now I am using some Butter! I have a whole section of shelves in the dressing room dedicated to polishes. I know...a "Polishmoire!"

Need more info on the Tattoo meeting...what's happening with that?

    Take care....M x

Zills, NO you are no way a whimp! you had both breast removed right? that is much longer recovery. Also I did not have any thing taken out under my arm, just 2 sn checked with mx. i think that must have made a big difference. I still can notice it if I dont do stretching excercises every day.. last week missed 2 days and ouch! I noticed it when I did them on day 3,.. not sure but think I will always have to do these. I go back for my checkup Aug. 21.. am starting a list of ?? already! (now if I dont forget to take them along)Smile I have been known to do that from time to time.

Dont despair that others can do more or sooner, each will heal at their own speed. you have so much on your plate with small children! just remember to take care of yourself cause they sure need their mama!!

Zills, don't you dare feel you should be doing more! Eight weeks is nothing after a double, and the other crap chemo etc.

I had a lousy single, and I couldn't have push mowed anything after 8 weeks. The Claw is a real and formidable thing, don't push it.

Everyone is different, you do things as you feel you're ready for them. There is nothing "Wimpy" about this. Take your time and don't be pushed by anything other than your own desire to try things. Don't compare what you do, with anyone else.

You seem to exercise a lot, I usually catch you about to exercise and walk just as I am going to bed. As you say, it has gotten better, and it will continue to do so. Take your time, and do things as you feel comfortable doing them. You're still having treatment that knocks the stuffing out of you too. I think you've done amazingly well.

Just know it will get better, and you'll get stronger, cut yourself some slack, and don't listen to anyone who tells you what you "should" be doing. You're a great Mother who has been through a hell of a lot, be kind to you!

    Big gentle hugs.........M x
