Zillsnot4me - everyone recovers at a different rate. How active were you before surgery? How active are you now? How is chemo treating you? There are so many variables to consider.

I took things really slow. However, I also have a plate and screws in my neck, which really complicated things for me personally after surgery. I am still in PT. Just recently I started doing dishes and laundry on a daily basis - before this I really felt the strain on my shoulders. I still do not take in the grocery bags after shopping - weight can still set me back pain wise for days. You know your body best, don't over do it, but don't let your muscles turn to mush. Do you have exercises to do? I received a folder of exercises to do after surgery to get range of motion back. Check with your doctor first though - you want approval before starting these. Hugs! It's hard being a mom and going through this all at the same time!

Granwe, good to see you!  I so hope you enjoyed your OG freedom.. how is he doing?  Three hours of mowing sounds to me like you overdid it already. Your neighbor has grown kids that don't mow her lawn after losing their father?? That's terrible.. lazy bums.

You know bananas straight out of freezer are delicious they are like ice cream without the calories!

Don't even talk to me about the weather... we have had rain, rain and more rain and once in awhile we get relief from the rain with thunderstorms.  Had a little bit of sun this afternoon, but we have non stop humidity.  Right now is not bad, it's humid, but there is a breeze so it doesn't feel all that bad.

I felt the same way the other night, had a stressful long day and came home to a squishy package, and a card as well.  Both of these put such a smile on my face.  I put my beautiful picture on the fridge and I've smiled at it dozens of times by now.  It's the little things in life.

Granwe, don't you have a Dr's appt coming up?

I think we need to pay a visit to this weasel.. I am glad your DD has come to the conclusion she doesn't need a man.. and I'm SO glad he got caught.  I just hope she can get rid of him easy enough.

{{{{Bobogirl}}}}  lol.. I can do that.. I can F this and F that all day long, it's not a problem at all.  Tell us a bit about the rings.. how on earth are you going to keep all this secret?  I lOVE LOVE LOVE the card idea!!! That is so good!!!!!  Opens the first one, all Happy Birthday's.. oh how sweet... oh.. here is another card.... awwwwww! LOVE IT!!

Nice job throwing her off the trail.. she is probably like... F her.

Oooo yes, lets hear about the presents.  You've probably already talked about this, but I haven't caught up because you all talk so damn much!! I love it though.

I love the sound of your dress.. love the sound of the color... you will for sure need something over it as its strapless... I think the tiny cashmere sweater sounds nice.

You know Moira is going to have that little man looking beyond dapper and the little princess will be just that.  You could not have chosen a better person to do the shopping!  Truly a stroke of genius!  DS needs a nice little vest, you won't make him wear a tie or anything will you?

So this is like the 5th time you are getting married? I love the rowboat one!! That to me is the perfect wedding..  Pig Farm. sheesh.. that one doesn't count.. pig farm??!!  It took long enough to get a Federal ruling, way overdue.  But I am so happy that it happened.

We had leftover chinese and finished up all the ice cream... did you end up getting take out?

You are going to have so much going on... maybe too much???? Wedding plans, kids back to school.. aren't you moving??? You need to slow down some, we can't have you wearing yourself out.  You are eating solid food now right?

    xxxx

Moira, it will be nippy here come November.. as in possible snow nippy, so they will need warm clothes, should probably get some warm tights for the princess.

Bobo, just caught up on the row boat wedding! our former neighbors did that, but they had the minister, bestman and matron of honor on board! I had never heard of it before but sounded so romantic to me. just hope for good weather here in nd, but of course our state will not allow this marriage.. we are so far behind the eight ball, this is a very conservative state. because of our oil lands our state coffers are overflowing, but we cant seem to get our terrible roads fixed, our schools need dollars, and affordable housing in the western part of the state where the oil is, but this legislature is too busy getting their noses into a woman's business and bedrooms... makes me boil! I dont agree or like abortion either but we have a law now and of course it is unconstitutional and now we will spend millions of our $$ on law suits.. dont get it! well enough politics!

Zills.. I dont push mower, I ride! Dont worry before you know it you will doing it too, living in our cold climate i love to mow and garden because our winters are so darn long and cold.

Thanks you all. I know chemo makes me tired but my right arm is what keeps me from doing the most. I start feeling better and want to do more and then it's back to the drawing board with nausea. Whatever it takes to make me have a long time with my family.

Zills! NO way that you are a wimp! You listen to your body and do what you feel comfortable doing. A BMX is a big deal, give yourself time to heal, plus chemo, and small children to care for on top it all, I think you are Wonder woman. Mowing, and yard work is something I've always done, its my form of mental therapy. Yesterday I bent over to pick up my grandson out of his little Pack & Play, something in the center of my spine caught, like a horrid muscle spasm, now I feel as if I have a giant claw all the way around my body. The BMX scars are so tight it hurts to breath, or move. May have to schedule another doctors appointment for tomorrow, if this doesn't resolve itself today.

Am I the only one that whenever something new happens to the body, immediately thinks, its cancer? When I voiced my feelings to OG last night he looked at me as if I had just sprouted an extra head, and told me I was crazy. No I didn't slap him with an iron frying pan, that doesn't mean I didn't think about it.

Idesim, I'm with you that Pig farm wedding didn't count! Rowboat, yes, park, yes, but not the pig farm! What was she thinking? : )

Ahh weather, on this date last year we hit 103, today only 88, but so F-ing humid you could cut it with a knife. Clouds and/or rain for the next 7 days. Damn mosquitoes are eating us alive, it sounds like little helicopters buzzing by your ears outside. "Someone" left his ice cream bowl on the kitchen counter last night, this morning I was greeted by tiny, little ants, I detest tiny little ants, whenever we have this much rain they are horrible too.

Nd, your state sounds like this one, so far behind the rest of the country in thinking. Sometimes its like living in the Twilight Zone!

How cool to be able to pop over to Canada. How was golf?

Going back I see that you already answered my golf question Nd. : )

Welcome BayouBabe! So glad you joined in, we love new voices.

Moira, I just know you are going to have such fun with your girlfriends. I'm excited for you. Then the fun with your daughter too. When our daughter move 5 hours away from home I missed her so badly. We talked or emailed everyday but it just wasn't the same as seeing her. I visited her often because I missed her, and because she was living at the beach, it was like having a beach house. Unfortunately her room mates parents felt the same way so we had to make reservations to visit.

Going to wake the OG to inflict pain upon his hand. I think I heard rumblings of a boat trip with our son for today. They haven't taken the boat out all summer so I hope they can get in at least a short fishing trip before this afternoons rain.

Bobo, waiting to hear details of your day!

    Hugs everyone

Granwe, keep that fry pan at the ready!  We should all listen to our bodies.  And F any dr who tries to downplay any concerns we may have!  So much to catch up on.  Hmmm.  I'll have time for a longer post later, but I'll try to do some now too.  Brother coming for dinner with his two boys.

ndgirl: right on!  Plus, don't they know it will be completely economically advantageous for states if they allow marriage?  There is a 'boom' in the states with marriage now.  F those idiots -- we are going to sue the pants off them.  How are you sleeping?

Granwe -- what are you cooking?  Let those worrisome symptoms fly here.  That's what we are for.

Idesim -- how's the 'area?'  Worried that you may be doing too much.  But not too much drinking!  You're not doing too much of that!  Finished off the ice cream myself last night.  You are right -- not eating too much solids.  But doing pretty well.  Beer is a solid, right?  Smoothies, soups in Vitamix -- last night I had plain rice noodles -- avocado, etc.  But still, dropping some weight.  Flashbacks.  However, obviously, this whole wedding and DLLP's birthday has cheered me no end.  I am even happy picking out wrapping paper for her prezzies.

Ariom -- measurements coming!  I hope I will do it right.  I will try to get hold of WB (my DS) right after this.  So excited about your company!  I will wait to hear all about it.  And the dessert!

You guys are all making me laugh about the foobmoires.  Oh -- and Ariom, of course I should have known you already knew about 'Butter!'  You have a 'Buttermoire!'  Next up to order for me: Yummy Mummy.

Idesim, there is a new punk-ish model on the EF website!  Love her!  EF, reading my mind, has come up with some new punk options for fall! I used to never buy clothes.  I mean, never.  I have shirts -- I wear them regularly -- that I had when I was bottle feeding our baby.  And she's seven.  But now, all bets are off.  Have new fancy-ish job (but not very high paying, but fancy-ish)  -- this justifies my recent purchase of an EF capsule wardrobe which I ordered the day of that biopsy.  It stopped my crying.  Everything was on a super-sale.

These days,  I am getting myself more 'treats,' and I'm trying not to feel badly about it.  I have three jobs.  Ariom, in past I would never even have afforded myself a new nail polish!  But now, truly, F that.

Wren, you are so clever inventing your own magic foob!  Am gobsmacked.  It won't be long before you have your own foobmoire, stocked with your own magical creations!  Am totally impressed.

Now, you guys!  You are totally wrong about the rescue pig farm wedding!  It was absolutely beautiful!  Ariom, tell them.  I just sent her a picture of it.  pm me your email addresses -- I will send you one too!  A beautiful tiny wedding, with just our best friends -- I think there were eight of us total, not counting the kids -- and plus, one goat!  And one of the pigs was a surly snapping pig!  I don't want to lose this post.

I reply to myself.  Prezzies!  Well, DLLP wanted a flute for her bday.  She had a flute once, for years, and lost it on the crosstown bus in NYC.  Not that she really knows how to play.  She just tooted on it.  Much of this was before we met.

So out-of-the-blue, she asked for another flute.  I told her that was not in my budget, then promptly ordered one up from amazon.  It comes with a music stand, and a case, and a little book!  And this is even better... our baby has a homemade lute from Waldorf -- they have lessons -- -and it is hand-carved from a tree.  It was pretty expensive.  Anyway, she plays little tunes on it.  And so I got another little (plastic) recorder, and then another little lute, and a book on how to play the recorder and the lute, and they are all coming!  One for each of us!  We are going to have a crazy toot party!  Also, I got her hilarious new summer pjs.  Moisture wicking old lady hot flash summer pjs.  I got her a pair for 'Am day' (that's our Father's day) and I laughed and laughed!   Partly because I am the one who actually owns those hot flash pjs -- Ariom, they are from Soma -- and she doesn't need them yet -- but they are jolly, and stripey, and matchey, and really we are more like the -- I play basketball with my punky friends on the lower east side and wear my old ripped pixies t-shirt to bed kind of people -- so these jolly pjs make me laugh on her.  So I got her another pair of those.

And.. idesim.. I am making a pudding pie for the bday dessert!!

Now.  Zills.  You must follow all of Ariom's great advice.  You must not feel as if you are not doing enough.  I see you working so hard on your exercise, and scrubbing the floor with your feet and a dishtowel.  You need a break from your darlings in the day.  PLEASE do not think otherwise!  In fact, do you not think we should organize a special cleaning service for our Zills?  I know they have that.  Say the word and I will launch into action.

So now, remind me to catch up for later:  the rings!  Measurements for Ariom!  My tattoo consultation appointment!  Making huge vegetarian dinner, my brother will not be too pleased.  But.. F that!  He'll eat what is in front of him.  Making lemon cupcakes with choccy creme filling and choccy ganache.  XXX

A lot of states are behind the times... what is it now, only 13 states that allow it? And that Maine is included seems strange.. maybe they confused same sex with same family? j/k!

Zills don't make me slap you silly.  As others have said, you can't compare yourself, you and you alone know the limitations of your body.  I am 3 weeks ahead of you and I still struggle doing certain things with my right side, like vacuuming.  Not only did you have both sides done, but you are in the middle of chemo which will take quite a toll on the body.  You also need to be careful of lympedemia.  From the sounds of it and what is on your plate, you are doing fantastic.

Moira, I too would feel intruded upon at times... we all have the need for absolute privacy at times.  I am amazed that you only had help getting Colin in bed for a month after surgery, especially with you having RA in top of it.  Does he have daily stretching?  I'm still amazed by how self sufficient he is.

I do still flip flop, but I don't dwell on it too much either.. I'm pretty sure I will opt out of not getting recon, but at the same time I leave the option open for consideration.  I need to experience the prosthesis and for the most part I am not bothered by being uni now.. it's only when I think of how young I am or see certain clothes that I start to question it.

Dex's bed sounds fit for the king that he is... and yes he does sound like he is OCD, but that makes him all that more endearing.

And now we find out you have a polish collection too!! LOL!!

Bobogirl, my SIL has "tramp stamp" butter polish, it's like a dark brown.  I don't like the color, but love the name.  The artful dodger sounds pretty.. I have been into blues lately.. did a navy for a bit and then a royal blue.. and for surgery did a pretty teal was my fav so far. I so need to go for a pedi, but waiting for chemo nails to finish growing out.  My fingernails are fine, but a couple of the toe nails are blackish (YUK!).  The gift that keeps on giving!

Welcome Bayoubabe.. I love the nick!  From your profile, I see you had reconstrution well after your initial surgery.. how did you find the experience?  As you may have read from previous posts, I am flip flopping on the recon issue. If you don't mind sharing that is;)

Ndgirl, you're so right!! Stay out of people's bedrooms and their personal lives there are so many more important things to worry about, so many more areas that need more attention.. the hungry, the homeless, the abused, the elderly. Considering what half these politicians get up to behind closed doors...

Aww Gramwe, I was worried you had overdone it, I hope this is only a minor setback.. give yourself plenty of rest today.

Oh hell no... every godamn twitch or sligtest pain now makes me wonder if its cancer... I hope in time these feelings will get less and less. I was never like this before, but I suppose its to be expected.. I better get the hell over it though.  F that.

When Joe and I had discussed moving out of Mass.. SC was one of the states we had considered, but since meeting you Granwe... I think we can cross that one off the list lol :)  F humidity, I never used to mind it, but as I get older I just can't tolerate it as well.

OG deserves a slap for leaving his bowl on the counter.. that's a pet peeve with me.. I don't ask you to wash the damn thing, but at least put it in the sink and rinse it. It take 2 second.. seriously.

A boat trip sounds like so much fun! I love the water.  We're going to do some yard work today... it's humid, but there is a nice breeze so hopefully its not intolerable.

I have one of my candles burning, lemon zest.  I don't usually go for fruit scents, but this one is making me want a slice of moist lemon cake with a glaze on top.  I can smell it through the entire house (all 1100 square feet lol)

Great there goes my job prospect on the SC tourism board. Actually my part of the state is nice most of the year. We experience all 4 seasons, summer does get a bit sticky and uncomfortable. We can see the mountains in about an hour we can get to places where its much cooler, and the beach in about 4 hours. Come visit us, you might like it here.

Whew hope that keeps me from being exiled to Georgia.

Granwe, You have to watch out for those play n pack. I babysat for a kid for a year and it was so hard to get him out of it. PT told me the worst thing for your back is to lean over and have something heavy in your hand(s). That was after I threw out my back ironing on the bed.

I never liked to iron, except when sewing, but I love to weed. There's something about the nice and tidy bed that makes me feel good inside. When I iron, all I can think of is how soon it will be back in the ironing. My friend keeps telling me, "Oh you don't need to iron these shirts." So far I have restrained myself from telling her that all her shirts look like they need ironing to me.

Bed linens? That's an issue Granwe. What do you do after they've been slept in? Bed linens???  Many people find ironing relaxing, my mother and grandmother always loved ironing and when my father passed away, my mother actually started ironing for people.. I think she gets paid like $25.00 an hour.. but then again she lives in a wealthy town.  This one woman she does 4 hours either weekly or bi-weekly, I can't remember which, but she has her sheets ironed as well as underwear, just about everything in that household is ironed.. which is pretty good for my mother :)

LMAO.. nothing like a crisp pair of jockeys and even more of a reason to scratch themselves!

I dunno you've been bitchin bout the weather for like 2 months now and all the sudden you're backpedalling!  When we were thinking of SC, we were thinking of near the ocean.. I have to be near the ocean I think I would miss it way too much.  I both live and work within blocks of the ocean,  love me some salty air!

Oh Zills, don't give me any ideas.. that would be so entertaining to watch somebody trying to put sewed up shorts on.

Wren, I am with you.. I love to weed as well, that's what I just came in from doing.  Good restraint, I would so tell my friend who would tell me to go to hell anyways.

I will do the ironing!  I love to iron, too.  I would love to put on my favorite show, Isaac Mizrahi Live, on qvc (I never buy, but that show is ridonculously hilarious to me) and then iron the heck out of everything.  Have never done sheets or underwear.

Ariom!  I can't really find much to measure as far as children's clothing is concerned -- it's boiling hot, and they are in little shorts and tie-died t-shirts  and the baby is in little romper dresses -- let me know if you'd like me to get some winterish clothes out and measure them.  Meantime... here are some body measurements.  Let me know if you need more:

    our baby:

shoulder to shoulder: 14.5 (all in inches)

    hips: 12

    torso (clavicle to waist) 17

waist to ankle: 27.5 (she's very tall!)

    waist circumference:  25.75

    DS:

    shoulders: 13

    hips: 12.5

    torso: 14.5

    waist to ankle: 26.25

    waist circumference: 27

Lemon cake with choc ganache turned out GREAT.  The cake was a soft sponge, very delicate, and not too lemon.  The ganache was VERY dark, and there was a choc mousse filling.  I just baked a round, sawed it in half, and then filled it like a sandwich.  Idesim, I bet it was as good as your candle!

So glad everyone is gone!  I am not kidding.

Idesim, I like the title too, but would not love brown.  My surgery pedicure polish was a 'go f*ck yourself' industrial gray with a little blue in it.  I think it was actually called 'I don't give a d*mn'  DLLP did not like it -- she said I looked like a corpse.  I said, btw.  Do you know what the name of this polish is?

In cooler weather, I like black.  If I did the toxic polish, I would do Chanel's Vamp.  Trying for the non-toxic.  Hey!  Did you know my tattoo ink is going to be organic?

Oh my gosh, you girls are great, first thing in the morning!

No matter how hard I try, I can't make it past the computer without reading your posts. Even today when we had the tilers coming early.

I managed to read, get to the bathroom and shower, no Rites, yet, and the guys arrived. I got dressed quickly and went to talk to them. I looked down and realised I was "Right Boobless", gosh I am doing that a bit lately. I don't think it's a bad thing, just that I am not obsessed, right? LOL

Bobo, I have Yummy Mummy! it is seriously the only one on my shelf, I gave a couple of others I had to Bec last time she was here. How amazing is that? I am embarrassed to say I have almost 100 bottles on my shelf, and that is AFTER the clear out:) I know "My name is Moira & I am a consumer!"

I used to enjoy ironing. I bought a "hooly dooly" German steam station that I saw on the Home Shopping channel. I ironed everything within "Cooee" Oz term! and promptly got tired of it. Now I try to buy non iron stuff, or fold it as soon as it is dry. One of Colin's girls asks to iron for me as payment for the stuff she gets from the clear out. I "let" her do it now and again:)

Zills, I got the feeling that when you said your friend sewed up the underwear, it wasn't the legs, or was it? I know your men wear shorts, our men wear mainly jocks, with another exit!

Gramwe, I know just what you men about missing my Bec. She lives at the beach in a lovely old 70's apartment. It was the next suburb from where we lived, so a 10 minute drive around the beach road and I was there. She walks along the beach to the station every day to go to work. She calls me when she gets home at night, just to let me know she's ok.

I hope you haven't overdone it, well I know you've overdone it

You made me laugh, starched, ironed underwear...ouch!

I love the sound of South Carolina, the History, and the accent, but I also loved the time we spent in Georgia. Am I missing something?

Colin has an Uncle there, and he took me all around and showed me the Antebellum architecture. Some of those towns were like a postcard.

I too am hearing rumblings of a visit to the boat today. Did I tell you our Mystique was damaged iin the storms? She was tied up a bit too close to the floating pontoon, and as the water rose she got her back end caught under the pontoon, so she has some chunks taken out. This is after a new paint job! Colin wants to go an supervise the work today.

I think it would be safe to say we are all super, uber, sensitive about any little pain or perseived difference in anything. I had myself convinced that a pain in my side was going to be ovarian c, but Mary my massage therapist found it was the big strapping muscle that attaches your pelvis to everything else. I imagine this will continue to be  fear though!

Going to post this before I lose it!

Wren what were you doing, ironing on the bed? I think it's hysterical that your friend is looking dishevelled, and telling you not to iron your shirts! How do you hold your tongue? I love that.

I am not sure if I welcomed BayouBabe, I just love that word, Bayou. It reminds me of the movies I watched as a kid, and fell in love with all things American. How those kids always kicked around in overalls or pretty print dresses, and the life was slow and easy. I was always in an inner city suburb so had no concept of this kind of life.

I know she sewed the legs shut. Not sure about the other "exit". She's having a girls night tomorrow. If I remember I'll ask.

Had the laundry caught up if there is such a thing. However the kids went swimming both days so have more to do tomorrow.

The baby had a Janet Jackson moment. I didn't know it when I snapped the pix. And it's the only one where both are looking at the camera. At least she's a baby.

Back again, ldesim, yardwork for you today. Take it easy, and don't let the bugs bite!

You hit the nail on the head. You do need to have your privacy, sometimes I just want to hang around in my pj's and not shower till later, but I have to stick to the routine, and I never want  to get caught out doing the Rites. I get self concious about having my US fanny in the air, well actually, the Oz one too! Although, I love him to death, I do miss my own time for getting up and going to bed.

Speaking of men scratching themselves. As they do:) I am being driven a little mad by a phantom itch. Anyone else getting this? It feels like it would be around the side of the nipple, but when I go to scratch, of course there is nothing there, and the "area" is still mostly numb.

I have sweet orange essential oil burning right now. I love that fragrance in the house. At night I do Sandalwood and Pachouli with a dash of Rose, or Frankinscence. I love aromatherapy. That's another collection girls, I have two wooden segmented boxes filled with the most divine aromatherapy oils. I never go a day without the oils burning in the house. My girlfriends love them. They used to say "Who needs drugs, we can go to Moira's place and zone out on the fragrance"

Is this one of the Yankee candles you ordered?

I am sorry you are flip flopping over recon. I totally understand your age would make it much more of an issue than for an old girl like moi:) You know we will all be right there with you if you ever decide you want to go that road.

I agree, you need to experience the prosthesis, first! Shame you don't live closer, you could borrow some of mine! LOL We could all share, like teenagers with clothes. LOL

Bobo, thanks for the measurements. I am going to write them down and carry them with me. Who knows when the  right opp shop will present itself. I am on the quest now, but with cold weather in mind. If you could give me the chest waist and hip measurements of clothing that fits them it may help me whn I am in the opp shop with a tape measure.

I love the names for nail polish. I entered a competion to name a RED OPI polish. I called it "I'm a Rockstar's Girlfriend!" but it didn't win. I love the name of the OPI iconic red "I'm not really a waitress!"

I am known for my pewter or silver coloured toes. I have worn it for years, but I usually go for the neutrals on my fingers. Before I got the Rheumatoid, I wore my nails long and deep coloured, but the disease ruined that look.

I have decided that you are a serial bride, Bobo. I must say I wondered about the pig farm too, but the photo is gorgeous, so I will take your word for it. Tell me now, will I be on a constant hunt for wedding clothes for future weddings, or will this be the final one? Just wondering:)

I love the sound of the pj's fo DLLP. I know the brand I have scoped them online.

I am off for now to make something for the boys to eat for morning tea...chat later...M x

I have to ask. What does kangaroo taste like? Please don't say chicken. Is it white or dark or both? Do you put sauce on it? Deer is very popular here but it depends on how it's processed. Most either grind it for burgers and jerky. And eat the steak or roast. Do they make kangaroo jerky?

I think the best fuel for BBQ is wood. Our friends prefer apple or cherry. Love the smell and taste. Reminds me of camping and s'mores.

How can you put chocolate on lemon?

What are you making them for tea?  I am in bed.  I want morning tea!

I am a serial bride!  I did not know that!  Well, I am hoping this will be the last one.  Obama says he sees no reason why someone who marries in one state -- but moves to another state -- cannot still be married.  They say this is the 'tipping point.'  So, hopefully, we won't have to get married in a different city every time I may have to go to the hospital..  you are right, though, I do try to turn it into something fun.  And I think this may be one of the more fun weddings I've had... :)

Zills, good girl getting that laundry done!  We have a kitty, her name is Jane Golden, and whenever she does anything nice we have a particular way of saying 'Good girl!'  It's a funny loud slurring way. GOOGIRRRL!   And now we say it to each other, as a joke.  If I had just bragged about finishing the laundry, DLLP may well have said to me, 'GOOGIRRL!'

Yummy Mummy!  Am psychic.   Will get on those other measurements.  Right now I also feel I need to get onto some aromatherapy.  A, you make me feel as if I am behind!  BTW, I am going to try the Rites tomorrow with our princess.  How many shall I do?  My resolutions this week:  a) Rites, b) Green Vibrance.  Have been off my feed and have not wanted to make things worse with the Green Vibrance.

70's apt of Bec's sounds so wonderful!  I feel I can picture it.  So sorry you have lost your choice of mornings and nights for when you go to bed.  I think you are just excellent in your attitude.  You are probably so cheerful to all those people.  And as far as going foobless is concerned... perhaps you are just getting in touch with your punk side!

Poor Mystique!  Colin must be beside himself.  You know, it is hard to believe, A, that you're only about six months out from Sx.  And idesim and Zills, it's even harder to believe you are eleven and eight weeks out.  You are all doing so phenomenally well.  Idesim, how is the Tamox?  Cool as a cucumber, you have started the Tamox in May, same time as rads.  You are simply a real-ass bee-atch.

M, I am going to watch the dr oz video for the rites.  Although that is not how I prefer to exercise.  I wonder how many rounds I should start with.  I have got to get my upper arms in better shape for my dress, because I am a serial bride!  Oh, and my GFs tell me I have got to get started on my 'ripped abs...'  I don't have another breast biopsy left, they've had the last one.  So I had better start doing some sit-ups!

Dear ones, we've got to organize for Tuesday.  Z has her appointment, I think.  What time, Z?  We are going to get into your pocket for the entire appointment.  XXX

Z!  It was just a very light and fluffy vanilla cake, with just a HINT of lemon zest!  Have you not heard of chocolate and orange?!  I just thought I would try it!!

You are giving me SUCH a hard time!!! :)

My husband loves chocolate and orange. Especially pims (cookies or biscuits) and those whack an orange they sell at Christmas. I like mine plain and dark. Just the way you sent it. No fruit! It used to be pecans but the boy is allergic so no nuts in the house. Safer that way.

Right now the dairy is labeled in the fridge so the baby doesn't get the wrong stuff. She's lactose. Never know who will be pouring milk at my house!

Yesterday I was in such a hurry to get to the post office before it closed that I forgot to wear a hat or scarf. I find scarves too hot now. I didn't even notice until I got back in the car. I don't think I got any funny looks either but I had both kids with me.

Yes I too would like toned arms and ripped abs but that was 20 yesrs ago. Let us know about the Rites. I don't think it's for me yet. I've thought about doing Body Electric on public tv. Zumba is fun and a great workout. So is water aerobics but don't know when you'll find the time. Good luck with the green stuff.

Appt with onc at 1:40 on Tuesday. Then chemo. Trying to fit everyone in early before the 4th.

Zills, trying to explain the taste of 'roo. It is a dark red meat, oh, Bobo, turn our head, you won't like this! I only eat the filet, or tender meat, and it is BarBQue'd on a gas barbie. It has to be quite rare as it gets tough if overcooked. Not like chicken, not really like beef, quite "gamey". It is also really nice done in the wok as strips with garlic and ginger and eaten as a warm 'roo salad! I have seen it made into jerky, but we don't eat jerky much in Oz. I remember seeing it when I worked at the Airport, along with Emu products. It's mainly sold to tourists.

I have seen 'roo burgers in up market cafe's and all the best Restaraunts have 'roo steaks.

There are many Australians who wouldn't eat it if you paid them! They see 'roos as vermin.

Bobo - start with 3 of each rite. Do not increase more than per week. Take it slow and easy. You don't want to trigger anything before your wedding.
