spookie. Happy belated. So sorry about your arm. How's the swelling? Georgia is playing Ky on Sat. Want a small wager? Bobo and I bet lipgloss last time. Don't have a tv either.
M. You do get airlifted here for dire situations or if it's a long way. My belly dancing teacher was a RN on those flights. Hope it goes quickly. How long is recovery?
Saw RO. Nodules are the two spots that haven't changed. 1 in 3 in ky has histoplasmosis. Nothing's grown in a yr. He says that's good news. Yes. Will order a brain scan for peace of mind and go to cognitive therapy since my memory is going. Probably just chemo, tamox and stress.

I saw the schedule! What kind of team does UK have? I know they are dynamite in basketball!
0 -
Don't think they're doing well this yr. Still trying to get qualified for a bowl game. Understand both teams need to win on Sat for it to happen.

Zils, that sounds like fantastic news to me! Hey.. I've had the memory issues as well... I partly think it's just my general disinterest in things since all this bs started. Isn't histoplasmosis a fungal thing?
Lemme see if I can catch up in other thread.

Z: no change??? That's great news!

Hi ladies, just posted on the other thread. Zills, I don't know too much about the recovery for this procedure yet, just that the stent goes in and they use a endoscope which has some sonic blaster thingy that can reduce some stones to powder and it has a grasping thing that can remove this big 9mm one that is causing the trouble. They leave the stent in, bring him home and then he goes into Hospital again too have the stent removed. It doesn't sound like a really fast turnaround, but I really don't know and won't know till the surgery is over. I just hope it isn't done too late in the day for him. It isn't too unusual to be flown to major Hospitals, Colin's quad status would have been the main reason I think and they wouldn't want those stones moving around during a 4 hour Ambulance ride. Those aren't built for comfort!
Gosh, Zills, I am so glad you are being looked after properly! M x

DLLP and I are celebrating Z's news here at the house. G, glad you and Ava are feeling better. I am not feeling that well today either. I don't know. I am just tired leftover, or I am having a cold? I'm not sure. I don't stop long enough to find out. I am going to see if DLLP will let me put myself to bed.
Idesim -- yes, I went out with my yoga pants with holes in them, including on the butt! And yes, DLLP threatens to throw them out! Had massive compression garment underneath because of surgeries -- good news -- but garment was flesh-colored, which DLLP said would cause people to think they were seeing nudity through the holes -- bad news. Fuck it.
I really think DLLP is giving me a tiny pass on the yoga pants because of my year I am having. Also she let me take her favorite pillow, and it's her favorite, she doesn't sleep well without it. But I have taken it because I don't have breasts! And that's another tiny pass. Otherwise I am expected to perform at normal levels. Cleaning service is quite a stretch financially, but so is everything else.
Idesim, what's on the coffee table? I made a cream of tomato soup and a baked rice pudding. M, I am so sorry about your Colins, sorry your Colin is still in the hospital and hungry and about to have sx. Let's hope this procedure brings him instant relief! I hope he will be back irritating you in no time. How will you get him home from Melbourne?
I hope you are not overdoing it. You sound so busy. But, when you have time, I hope we will get a full Beauty Day report. I am so excited to hear about all the products and how they are received. It will almost be like watching a beauty show on QVC!

Hahaha Bobo, I can just see you in your holey pants with the beige shape wear compression underneath, mmm, very attractive! LOL
I am a tad concerned about Beauty Day, I am a little concerned it may fall on the day he gets back, or at least once Colin is home again and I won't be able to go. They will probably fly Colin back, because he will have this stent, which has to be removed at a later date. I am thinking I will drop off all the goodie bags, which the girls don't know are coming, just so they have those if I can't make it at the last minute. This is being organized by the Breast Nurse in our region, so she can give out the bags and explain. Let's just hope all works out.
Yes, I am missing Colin so I let him irritate me by phone, a few times a day!! LOL Seriously, it is weird without him. M x

Bobo: Holey yoga pants and buff colored compression?? And DLLP gave you pass? and her pillow? She LOVES you. Hard to say if leftover tired or cold? Are you sneezing? I could not stop yesterday. Better today. Are you yellow and green now? Bruises almost gone?
M: keep us posted on the Colins. Don't wear yourself out now. You are working hard.

All's well, Colin No1 is out of recovery and asking for food. Colin No2 not well at all, had an xray today, may need more surgery.
I am making Sun Catchers and Dex is shouting at people who dare to walk past our fence. I ate too much fudge and now I feel a bit yucky! Be back later after I tidy up this mess. M x

GLENNIE BOBO!!!!!!!!
King Ricky won. I wanna throw up on him.he bought another one.
Let's move to Canada
0 -
Canada has always sounded good! Poor other Colin. Hi DP! **waving**
Those yoga pants have A LOT of holes. And I forgot to tell you. Guess who made most of the holes? The puppy Bobo! He was nipping at my pants and making tiny holes when he was a puppy!
Bruises better. I go to PT massage once a week and it really helped. Sometimes a large bruise would go away overnight after therapy. I can't complain, given other things in the world. But, should I complain, I would like to say my whole body aches. Surgery again in five weeks. I cannot believe it.

M: glad Colin 1 is doing well. Asking for food is very good sign. Sorry about Colin 2, I hope he does not need more surgery.
Spooks: Yes, I had thought that Canada looked good for years now. Can we adjust to the cold? King Ricky and no medical marijuana. I am sad. John Morgan says he is not giving up the fight. **he emails me**
Bobo: glad bruises are better! And now you can't get rid of the yoga pants cuz Bobo puppy made the holes! Awwww!! I can only imagine how achey you are and facing the thought of doing it again in 5 weeks. ((gentle hug))

it's not real cold in Brittish Columbia!
DD wonders how soon he will start attacking teachers and education. John said he wouldn't let the MJ go. He's got the $ and influence
0 -
I have a friend in British Columbia. Still a lot colder than here. JM won't let go, for sure. He wants it for his brother. Personal reasons are a powerful thing.

ok, so let me fill you in on life in Canada....most of the politicians are idiots, don't get me started on the Prime Minister.... It is cold in most parts of Canada in the Winter...not year round. Where I lived last, i(in Alberta) we had some winters without snow. Eskimos live in igloos....up near the article circle, not the whole rest of the country. Canadians live in normal houses just like you. It is only warmer in winter along the coast in British Columbia, much of the rest if the province is mountainous and very snowy in winter.
Everything costs way more in Canada than in USA (milk is $5-$6 gallon, gas is $4-$5 a gallon). Income tax is much more than in USA...however it pays for health care. There are no copays. If you have surgery (or hospital stays )you are not out of pocket...but you will have to wait a long time to have it done.
There are provincial taxes and then federal taxes in most of the provinces, sometimes totaling 13% on purchases.
On the plus side the crime rates are somewhat lower than here...oh, and we can still fly from Canada to Cuba.

I would be willing to pay more taxes if everyone in the US had a universal health plan. Yes, you have some waiting time, but for everyone to have insurance that is paid for by taxes to me is a very sensible solution. That MOST ALL other countries have. And in many places around the world, tis better to be a Canadian than an American! Some countries don't like us very much. **wonder why**
No country is perfect. Are your politicians just as corrupt as ours?
0 -
I do t know if they are corrupt, just stupid.
I miss living in Canada. Mostly I miss all my family. It is a nice place to live and raise a family, but I like it here too.
If I won the lottery I would move back...or maybe to Australia and join Ariom and Dawny!! Lol

If I won the lottery, I would definitely travel to see you all. And then BUY me a few politicians! LOL!!!0 -
ITS HERE!!!!!!
So pretty😍 I love it!!!!! Will look wonderful in my car!!!!!
Thank you M!!!!!!

It's a pleasure, Spookiesmom, I am delighted that you like it!
Just posted on the other thread, Colin is home. I am still busy, but slowing down somewhat, now!
If I won the lottery, I'd bring you all over here, for an Aussie holiday!

My sisters are so silly. I don't have the plague. In the spring, sister2 had a lump, wouldn't tell me. Now sister1 has a lump and won't talk to me. Sister3 has never had a mammo and probably doesn't check. My mom can't keep a secret.
Spring lump was a cyst. This lump is probably just swollen lymph nodes as she's been sick for a couple of weeks. Why can't I be the poster child for life after bc not the walking dead?
I look healthy. I take care of my kids. House a wreck but that's fairly normal. Hate housework. No help at night this week as DH out of town.
I didn't get tested. I adopted BG. No family history. I was just the "lucky" one? We've all heard and it's a thread. I have cancer because .... Stress, no biological children, dental work, drive silver cars.
Rant over. Want a cup of tea but have three sleeping beauties I don't want to disturb.
Have a Good Friday! It's a whopping 36 degrees. Dug out the duvet we bought in Ireland. Very toasty. Wish the house cleaning fairy would bring the bill paying fairy over while I'm out.
Thanks for the card glennie! It was right on time. I'm just behind as usual.

hi Zills. If those fairies show up ask them why they have been avoiding my place!!!
0 -
yeah, especially that cleaning fairy!!! Wouldn't she like some time on the beach too?
0 -
Zills, it is 40 degrees here and will soon be much much colder, so I decided to buy an electric fireplace to help keep us warm. Liked reading your post.. Couldn't we have just won the lottery instead of the luck of the draw with bc?
Welcome home Colin number 1! Take good care of him and also yourself, often times the caregivers are over looked. How is Colin 2 doing?
Big hello to everyone, lots to do yet, leaving next Tuesday with friend to Mayo, she is so relieved to be going where she will get answers quickly and accurately ! She said she is actually eating and sleeping better since she decided to go.
0 -
ooo, ND,, nice fireplace!! Glad that your friend is feeling more relaxed about everything. Hope things at Mayo go well.I am putting in a request for the cleaning fairy too. I hate cleaning. There are so many other things that I'd rather be doing than cleaning.
Z: you are not the walking dead. I don't know what is the issue with your sisters. They need to get over themselves. It's not contagious. I have cancer because I have no children and a silver car. Should have got a red car. My BFF has no children and a red car and no cancer. **is it that simple?** (laughing hysterically)
10 days to diagnostic mammogram with the "best" radiologist in town. More excitement. I can hardly stand it.
I want some time on the beach,,, hmmm,,,, when can I pull that off? And can I find a place that will accept a 75 lb dog?
M: update on both Colins please!

um , sorry. Had red cars from 92 to 14. Didn't help,
