Checking in for word about Colin.  O2, last time I had break from MD -- for four years -- she worked it so I had no contact with any family.  Wow, she was in her glory during that time.  To this day I have no idea what she told everyone.  Many relationships were ruined over it, others have never been the same (but still have relationship).  So if I break it off that will happen again, except that we actually live so close to all the relatives -- it will be a mess.  And yes, we do have kids (8 and 9, Andrea), and it would be a shame for that to happen, esp for our princess.  She really loves to be among family.

We just have to watch the situation, though, since MD cannot be trusted with what she will say to the kids, obviously.  It could be anything at this point.  I will have to handle the thousand cuts for a while. Soon the kids will be old enough that she will not be interested in them anymore -- she already isn't very interested -- and then maybe things can change.

yea bobo I was cut off from my family too.  Haven't seen them for 16 years either.....not fair.  I cannot even guess the lies MD has told........ Funny they act all the same..   So sorry for me and you.  I would have loved to have had a daughter just like me.  There was not a daughter born on this earth that loved her. Mother more than me.  The pain of it all is excruciating at times.  One will never understand unless you have been a victim of a vicious narricists.  The more people learn about this the better off we are bobo.   Believe me when I tell you I know your pain well.  Glad you are my sister...

    Take care

Just got home from doing the doggie daycare drop off, car drop off Hospital visit and got a lift home. Would you believe we forgot 1 pill of Colin's that he needs for tomorrow, so I have to drive all the way back in just for that. Not suree when my car will be ready, but not sure how I will get back in to pick it up if it is ready at 3pm, mmm, the bus! Would you believe the bus that runs between here and the next big town can be called and the driver will pick you up outside your house. I have never done it, so today might be the day. M x

OMG, M, your day sounds insane.  How is Colin?

O2, you are just the sweetest.  There is nothing we can do about malignant borderline personality narcissists.  We cannot beat MDs at their own games.  They think about it more than we do.

We can focus on the families we make!  M, looking forward to bus adventure story..

sounds like an adventure M. Boy would love it. I'm still in the doghouse for not getting them a ride on a double decker.

Take advantage of it and catch up with yourself. Take a nice beverage and an outrageous mag.

Take care of yourself. Tell Colin we said hello!

Oh, M,, you are having a crazy day!! That is awesome about the bus picking you up. Sounds like a plan. Keep us posted on Colin.

Yes, Bobo and O2, we have to focus on the families we make cuz some of our bio families are not worth keeping. I got one brother divorced from the family. He is married to the world's biggest b*itch which is the main reason he is gone from us. Mom tried for years to mend this fracture including a surprise intervention!! Which did not work!!  She has head in sand like ostrich. Only sees what she wants to see. A person can only handle so much abuse before cracking up or walking away from it all.  **these boots were made for walking**

Z: we must find double decker bus for Boy. NYC has double decker sight-seeing buses. Would that do?  **road trip** How is the dog???  Hope she is fitting in nicely. Does BG love her? Is she still fascinated with poop?

Okay, I am back for a minute, I have been in and out of town 3 times today. Colin has Kidney stones, one is blocking a tube, but we don't know how they plan to rectify it yet. He started to shake and sweat while I was in there the last time and fortunately the Doctor had just got the CT scan results. More news tomorrow. I still don't have my car. Picked up the little man from Doggie Day Care, he smells like a dog...yuck! He's fine though must have just played all day and is fast asleep now on top of the couch. I am starving, no lunch, so I will be back later...M x

ouch M. Kidney stones are painful.  Hugs to Colin.   Z. New pup fascinated with poop?  My little Georgiegirl is too!  Me and Taterbug nicknamed her "boo boo whisper" cuz she eats it if I let her get to it. My other dog thinks that is really disgusting...... Well so do I.  Tater won't play with her because she does that.  Yuck

O2. The children are fascinated with the dogs bathroom habits. I'm hoping it will spur the baby into pooping on the potty.

Thought we had a breakthrough yesterday. In the store and she says she's got to go. Take her. She says she has to poop. I said you'll get ice cream if you do. Waited and waited. Nothing. As soon as we get home, she disappears and poops. Baby steps.

UGH!  Kidney stones are painful. I hope by now they have come up with a resolution for this.

I have GYN app today. Hoping for some sleeping help.  Doubt I'll get any hormones. Then I have PT for shoulder afterwards.  Will check back before I leave, see if any updates.

Z:  baby steps is right. BG is getting there.

Poor poor Colin!  I hope he is feeling better every minute.  I loved the story about Dex smelling like a dog!

    Z.  Nothing's better than disappearing and pooping by yourself in your pants, then having someone else clean it up!  That is obviously the best.  It took me over two years to potty train W boy, as I have said.

I know it is too cold there to have her go without pants on the bottom.  Sometimes that works.  They have nothing to poop into.  Even squatting and pooping on the floor is something of an improvement.  Oh.  It seems like a minute ago I was potty training the kids.  Our princess still wets her bed almost every night.  This payday we are going to spring for giant night diapers.  I think we will have to do full-size Depends!  I am sure they will be totally expensive.

Idesim!  No coffee table!  Made Indian food again last night.  I am on a roll.  Tonight DLLP will make pizza night for kids.

GS#1 was a PITA to potty train, so they let him run around with no diaper.  But when he saw one of the male dogs lift his leg to pee, he let it rip too! I thought I'd bust my gut laughing.

Hmm.. wrote a post and I think I closed the TAB.  Ok.. condensed version....

Poor Colin, that is supposed to be painful.. I hope he doesn't have to wait for them to pass naturally.

Z, I love that she's more concerned in the dog's bathroom habits than her own haha.  It would be nice if you could be able to do away with the diapers once and for all.

Bobogirl, the bedwetting is a problem... I wonder why she's doing it.... past trauma? My brother wet the bed until he was maybe 10/11.  I recall my mother put a trash bag down to protect the mattress.. but still she must have had to wash sheets and pjs almost daily.

Spookie, I am laughing because my girlfriend had that exact problem with her son... it was rather funny at the time.

I have never had Indian food so no opinion on it but to say, I dislike spicy food and would imagine it is spicy.

M, I hope Dex gets back to smelling like popcorn soon.

Hi all, just posted on the other thread so won't post it all again. My Mother was the most amazing potty trainer, I didn't have a clue about it, but she decided that on Bec's first birthday she was going to be potty trained. I don't know how she managed it, or else Bec was just ready for it, but within a week Bec was pretty well, done and dusted. We had a couple of accidents in the new panties, but that was it, no turning back.

I am not a big Indian food fan, mainly because they use Ghee in everything and I don't eat dairy, but I do love a good Samosa!

I am hoping there is going to be news of the treatment for Colin today. I don't think he can pass this stone because it is stuck between the bladder and the kidney, but since the test said there were stones in both kidneys I don't know what they do for those.

Well ladies, I am off and running again...catch you all later...M x

Poor M. Poor Colin and Colin. Poor Dex. I have no experience with kidney stones. I hear it's miserable. Hopefully he'll get zapped and all will be well soon.

Getting ready for trip to see cousins for Halloween. Have a long to do list for am. Taking dog. Wish me luck.

Hi girls, just did a big post on the other thread.

Zills, I didn't know much about kidney stones, either, only about how painful they are. Apparently they don't blast any more, don't know why. They either let them pass naturally or if stuck like this one is for Colin they pit in a stent and remove the stone, made my eyes water when I found out how they do it, so can we all say together...."Poor Colin".....ouch!!!! I told him that trumped even the squishiest of mammos! lol

Have fun at the Halloween party...please can I see pictures? Have fun!

    Poor, poor Colin.

Tonic water is foul. Any other suggestions?

My kids don't think it's too cold. She's usually stripped off some or all most afternoons. Does say it's cold in the am. Has a little robe with pockets! To wear.

Not sure how dog would react to BG toileting on the floor. Don't want her to start. She is fascinated when I change the diaper.

I HATE pull-ups but required at daycare. Why?  They are expensive. The ones with reclosable sides don't hold much. The others hold more and fit better (no plumbers crack) but require clothes to be taken on/off. And shoes!

Bobo. Are you a member of SAMs or Costco? My granny only liked the pink depends. Have you tried chucks? Waterproof pads (2x3?) that you sleep on? Would protect sheets but still have to wash pjs. No magic wand answers:(

    Good Morining Ladies,

Been a while since I posted  as I finally saw the rheumatologist and was given some meds. Oh what a relief it is!  So much going on around here, but I have been trying to keep up. Saw the genetics counselor and she tested for BRCA 1 and 2 because my great grandmother was Ashkenazi. Only checked for that mutation and thankfully I don't have it! I could have bitch slapped my DD's as they wanted boob jobs. Seriously?  I don't think they were thinking it through. Lord knows if I had the mutation they would have been pissed off about it!  I am just glad that all they have to do is start mammos around age 40 and keep a check on their lady parts!

Oh M I am so sorry to hear about your Colin being ill!  What a nightmare! I know he is a quad, but does he have the pain associated with the stones? My DD2 is dating a para and, how do I delicately put this, he has feeling in his man parts but that is all from the waist down. I really don't understand how it all works. I do hope he isn't suffering! Glad to hear your friend Colin is doing well after surgery. I hope he will continue to do well. F*ing cancer!

Zills I loved the photo of you, the kids and sassafras! I had a black lab/Newfie who was the best dog! So loyal and such a good boy!  He would lay in the front yard and watch the kids play in the court. The neighbors called him my yard ornament until two Rotties came after us. He ran them off and earned the respect of the neighborhood!  He lived to be a very old man. Weirdly, he died of cancer 6 months after my parents. I hope the kids have fun tonight! Your stories about them make me smile!

How are you feeling Bobo? You are the warrior ninja! We're you able to get the princess some pull-ups? My younger DD wet the bed until she was around 8. She was a "big" girl and they made ones big enough to fit her. I don't know how or why she stopped, but the pediatrician said she was either sleeping lighter or out grew it. I think it had to do with cheerleading. She didn't want the other kids to know when we had overnight away competitions. As for MD....just give me five minutes alone with her and she will be singing a new tune! She is just too toxic for you and your family!

Belated Happy Birthday Wren! How is Squeekers doing? Will you be wearing the new tee shirt tomorrow? Have you dried out from all the rain?

How are you feeling Stacy? I can't believe you are working! I haven't worked in over a year and can't imagine trying to.  I hope you get to finish by Christmas! At least the end of chemo is in sight! I too sent Santa a letter for you!

Hey Idesim! Has it turned cold up there? I have a dear, dear friend in Leominister and she gives me wonderful weather descriptions! I miss the northeast so much! We don't have the lovely fall foliage here. The leaves just fall off the trees and have to be raked.

Glennie I don't know how you do it! I know you work from home, however the hot flashes interrupting sleep along with pause brain would render me incapable of concentrating! How is Ava doing? She is such a love bug. I hope Halloween doesn't make her too upset.

Are the Gators playing this weekend Spookie? I loved Spookie's outfit!  She is adorable! Loved the GS1 potty training story! LMAO!!!

O2 I am so sorry that you have a toxic mother too! Mine was no bargin either and yet I miss her. Relationships between mother's and daughters are so complex aren't they? I wish things were different for you.

Hi Andrea!  How are things in MD?

Waving Betty arms and legs to anyone I have missed!

Well DH finally woke up. He is still an AH and isn't getting any work done on the beach house. I am still living upstairs and he still hasn't cooked a meal, but thinks he deserves a gold star for grabbing fast food! I am managing to eat a little bit better by just making meals for myself! I have to get this weight off! He still hasn't done a damn thing around this house either. Praying SSDI comes through so I can hire a cleaning crew before the holidays! Okay enough of my whining for today! He is stealing my concentration so I will close. I hope everyone has a great day! S

Hi Sgc!!  Great to see you!! Glad to hear that you are BRAC neg and that you got some help from the rheum.!!

Ava doesn't mind Halloween; she likes answering the door. She wants to greet everyone and get petted. We don't generally get many kids anymore,,, now I'll say that and tonight I will! But I'll be working, of course, so it will be interesting to see what happens.   Ava has one more dose of prednisone tomorrow and then Monday I can put her back on her Cushing's med. Which is really good, cuz Cushings makes her drink and pee A LOT.  Well, I found she had NOT used the doggie door and peed on the rug in the office. They are just scrap rugs, and don't care about that,, it's that she did NOT use the doggie door, which is IN THE OFFICE.  WTF, AVA???  Geeeeeeez. Anyway, this problem should be cleared up Monday when she gets back on that med. The office has wood floors too, so I will throw down some more scrap rugs for her to pee on if necessary so that it doesn't get on the wood.

The Gators are playing Georgia.  The Bulldogs is Spookie's team, while the Gators belong to Bobo and me.  I have a feeling that Spookie will be happy this weekend,, and not so much Bobo and myself.  But the weather is lovely, hate to stay inside and work with this kind of weather.

Hope to get updates from everyone later on!!

Poor Spookie!  How do you feel?  And poor Colins!  And poor Dex!  Poor M, as a matter of fact.  You must be exhausted.  That was a nice long post from SGC.  SGC, does AH stand for 'asshole'?

Idesim, our princess wets the bed, I believe, because of epilepsy.  Her epileptic activity comes at night.  The doctors did a five-day study of her in the ICU, wired up for the whole five days and nights.  Good times.  I don' tknow how i lived through that.  She has no past trauma as we picked her up from the hospital when she was born and immediately began treating her like the pasha she now is!  DLLP continues to spoil her pretty badly.  I am trying to reign DLLP in.  Today she is Maleficient -- she'd rather that than Frozen because she can be imperious and boss people around.  Worried about Z on the roads with snow coming.

Will now go to DP's thread.  Is she okay?

yes, Bobo AH does stand for asshole.  Trying to keep the mods at bay here!  Sorry the princess has the epilepsy at night. Must be so frustrating for you both!  DLLP needs to watch out! A princess at 8 is a lot easier to control than one at 14! I should know.  DD2 was hell from 12-16!  She is still a princess, which can drive me nuts, however, at 21 she's an adult and I'm no longer responsible! Lol

GS#1 is a brat. He does have some issues, but for the most part a brat. He Could have walked around his bro, but that would mean being nice.kicking him was easier.

And today is Spookies birthday. She is 5, I can't get her special birthday shirt on her with this stupid cast. Don't know how I'll comb her hair! She and Kris will have a special cookie later
