    WooHoo! Good Morning everyone!

Aldi is great, you all must go. It is a mid week sport here in the country! Wednesday and Saturday they have their special stuff, and people line up early in the morning. I am not that keen, and usually get the stuff I want by going in later. It really is an unusual concept for a store with their staff sitting down at the checkout, and only a certain number of items ordered for each store. First come first served. I especially hate their checkout system which seems to take too long, but then I am just impatient with standing in any line.

They do have a good organic section. Zills, the chocolate is divine, isn't it! Colin loves the Chilli Dark Chocolate, but it is very hard to come by. Every Aldi store must just get a small amount delivered because it is usually the first flavour to sell out. I have to be really strong, because I could eat that chocolate all day long.

I don't remeber anything about Turtles either, do you have Turtles in the pond?

I have to admit to having a McDonalds aberration yesterday. I rarely do it, but fancied it for a change. Paid for it last night, along with the Hummus...yuck!

Bobo, the garden shouldn't be a chore, just tomatoes, and herbs to start. Let the kids look after it, and then you can move on to other stuff like the lettuce which is so great to have on hand. It can all go into pots, you don't need to put them in the ground. Just get some potting mix, a few punnets of herbs, and a tomato plant. You may even find a saucer pot that already has a few lettuce types in it that you just take the leaves when you need them. It can sit on the patio and look pretty too! Easy peasy!

Bobo, the Tagine spice, can be any blend you fancy, but I love Moroccan, which is Nutmeg, Cumin, Coriander, Ginger Tumeric, Cardamom, Paprika and Pepper. You can buy them already mixed at ethnic grocery shops, another fave shopping experience of mine. I love the Indian shops we have here, and could spend days in the Vietnamese grocery stores. I love the desserts made with coconut milk and red beans, and the gelatinous sweets....heaven!

Oh gosh, ldesim, I have no clue what "Rapid Submission" is either, but I know it isn't the "Rapid Submission" Dex does sometimes when Barry the delivery man comes. He gets so excited, Dex, not Barry, that he just rolls on his back and pees on himself.

Wren, I think scarves are a bit of an aquired taste. I used to always feel like I was over done with extra fabric, and it usually ended up dragging in my food. I wear them all the time now, and don't have any problems.

ldesim, thank you for that link, I hadn't heard that. You know me so well, clapping with glee! I do so hope for a spinoff, I just love that show, and don't want it to end.

It is the same Aldi, do try it!

I must fly now... Rites and shower.......will return later for "Rapid Submission" explanation! M x

If you post and then submit another post too quickly, the board won't post it and it gives you a message in red saying you can't post in rapid succession or something like that... it yells at you!

McDonald's fries.. no fries on earth compare. McDonald's and garlic hummus, that would turn anybodys stomach lol.

GrammaB, that's great that you got a nice comfy sleep in the recliner. Good idea on tidying the view up a bit and the exercise will do you good as well.  I'm sure somebody mentioned it, but do some abs and arm toning, it should help you get around better.  At the rate you are going, you will run out of things to do!!!

What exactly are "french looking clothes" I don't think I would know a french frock if it was staring me in the face.

Wren, I could watch a million videos and still never get the hang of it.. the infinity scarves are the way to go for me.

Joe just had a run in with a skunk.. he didn't get sprayed or anything, but has been running around the house to avoid it.  I am laughing myself silly.

Wow, so many posts to catch up on.. Bobo, glad you are moved in and getting settled, just take it easy. No it wasnt me that asked to see a picture of the knitted knockers, I know they will be fabulous! your kids camps sounds amazing, how fun. Tomatoes would work in a container for a garden, not sure how lettuce would do if it is very hot where you are, also green beans grow quickly and easily, kids love to grow them. But you have so much on your plate now, not sure if you need more. Glad the kiddos like their new home!

GrammaB.. your view sounds lovely, I like to see mountains from a distance but I have a terrible fear of heights, I have to do a real mind thing when I fly! pretend the planes are just a room and the clouds are snow on the ground. Guess too many years of living on the flat prairie where the old saying here is "you can see the dog running away for 3 days"Laughing!

Idesim.. I am with you.. not sure what french looking clothes are either, maybe flowing skirts etc. sure Bobo will enlighten us soon. Funny story of skunk and dog!

Zills.. hope you feel better and so glad that your sister can lend a helping hand.

I over did things again... Will I Ever learn..canned peaches and made raspberry jam today, went to Canada to a friends to pick raspberries and of course brought home way more than I should have, but we love them so much, I freeze some for smoothies and of course every now and then on ice cream.. I know I should stay away from sugar but I love and Oreo cookie with milk before bed and sometimes ice cream.. I try to eat healthy too but sometimes I just say to Hell with it, I want some comfort food.

Will catch up with everyone later.. my bracelets should be here soon.. btw.. I did order too, I liked the Lotus one too. and I searched and saw there is a store where my son lives (or very close) in WI, we will be there within the month.. lookout checkbook!

Good night all, sweet dreams and sleep! and good morn Ariom!!

Bobo, When I went to France, I was amazed at French children's clothes - beginning with birth. I can't imagine who hand washes all the little wool sweaters and lacy dresses.  No wonder French women are fashionable; it starts at birth. I know what you mean about trying to dress Princess for her age. I looked at the ads for back to school clothes and then at the uniforms for back to school and decided it might be worth the tuition to have children decently dressed. There's something wrong when night gowns are more covered than day dresses. I'm glad my kids are grown and have sons. Dressing a daughter would just be too hard.

Ack!! I just lost a long post I was working on!! Su©ks!!!  Trying to remember it all....

bobo, one of my favorite places to shop online is  Penzeys Spices.  Lots and lots of choices and lots of ideas on how to use them.  They have retail stores too, but none near me.

Wren, I'm with you on the clothes that are out there for young girls these days. Fortunately my DIL is very strict with the clothes her 3 are allowed.

Another place to learn about tying scarves is Land's End.  Go to just about any scarf they sell and there is a link to tying them different ways.  It isn't a video, it is step by step photos.

That's about all my brain can remember right now. I'll try to recapture more tomorrow.

    Night all and g'morning Moira

That's so funny ldesim, I was imagining the board, being your board of Directors, at work. I thought you had submitted something ahead of time and was getting scolded by them. I was thinking, that's so not fair!

My tummy is still a bit weird today, so I have been eating "Naked Ginger", meaning uncrystallised. I  love it, and it always settles my stomach.

It is hard to describe the French designs, they are not ever fussy, and are always beautiful fabrics. Usually some Pure Silk in their range, and fine linen, I always buy their fine linen or silk knits, and at least one pair of white, or taupe linen pants every summer. Last year I bought soft powder blue linen pants with a white boxy, unstructured sweater and some of their neutral flat sandals. I love that outfit.  They also do a super-fine jersey, long tank to go over 7/8th pants, which I wear a lot of, or jeans. I also love, love, love pure cotton knits, apart from the yoga stuff, I usually go for natural fabrics. Still loving my Bamboo fabric tanks and camis. I noticed that Target has a Bamboo range of underwear!

I have never seen  a "Fair Dinkum" Skunk, well maybe at the zoo. I hear the spray is almost impossible to get off. What kind of smell is it? Can you describe it?

ndgirl, I am sorry you are afraid of heights, but I love your description of flying. I had  a few passengers back out of traveling at the last minute, when I worked with United because of that kind of fear.

I had to tell Colin about "Seeing the dog running away for three days!" he loved that!

I also love how you casually say that you went to Canada to pick berries! That's so great!

I agree about the "to hell with it, I want comfort food" but who knew I'd need comfort so often? LOL Another bracelet devotee!

Zills, I am hoping you have had some improvement in the tummy. Has the baby taken off, or still running in place?

I get what you are saying about the childrens clothes. I think that is what is stopping me from finding anything nice and classy for the wedding. I am still going, but may need a weather update when the final date is set.

I didn't have that problem with Bec, she was always a bit of a tomboy, but whenever she did wear a dress, I'd turn around and it would be up over her head because if there was a bar fence anywhere, she'd be hanging upside down from it. That kid had calloused hands like a hardworking man!

grammaB, sorry you lost your post, I hate that so much, I can never remember everything I have written.

ldesim is right, you are going to run out of stuff to do. Have you lifted things that you use a lot, down from high cupboards? It is so much easier, not to have to reach up for things. In fact they tell you not to lift your arms for several weeks. Correct me here, I think it is possibly ok on the non node side? Just to be sure, don't stretch up. Try to get used to bending forward to wash your hair etc. so it isn't too different when you come home.

Colin had a meeting this afternoon with a man who is very interested in changing his boat over to an electric motor, like ours, so Colin is going over the whole process with him. Oh gosh, I can see another arm to the business starting:) The last one was wind generators, for boats. I had to eat crow, because he sold them all. I nearly died when they were delivered, each in their own wooden crate. We had to rent space to house them all. LOL

Meant to say I discovered, what I'm told is an American thing, Cinnamon Almonds! That may have been another contributor yesterday, gosh I keep remembering stuff I ate without thinking yesterday. How good are they? and moreish...I can't stay away from the jar. Cinnamon is good for you, yeah, and Almonds  are really good for you! that's two out of three:)

OK my lovelies, I am off to remake the guest room bed...chat later...M x

Getting worried about Granwe. That hamster wheel of appts has got to slow down sometime.

Ariom. Who is coming to visit? Cin almonds are good. They sell them at the state fair and conventions. They offer free samples and smell heavenly. Unfortunately I tried some plain during chemo and it will probably be a long time before I try them again.

I agree with Ndgirl that it would be too hot for lettuce. Herbs and maybe a patio tomato if you can find it would be a good start. If you do green beans, pay attention to weather its pole (needs to be staked) or bush. They come in packets and you sow seeds directly into ground. My dogs used to like to eat them when we were picking! I did see a recipe for green bean sandwich in southern living plus blackberry limeade bars. Yum!

Unfortunately I'm my sickest at dinner time. May try to make those corn dogs this morning. We are so spoiled. No meals this week so just eating odds and ends. Last night was beans on toast and corn on cob. Baby had cheese and applesauce. Refused cereal. Not hungry.

I'm going to venture out today for some fresh ginger. Hope the local store has it. Saw a recipe for it with green tea. I don't know what else to do. Fresh ginger in produce section? Where is crystallized ginger? Wish me luck.

Yes there are turtles in the pond. Haven't seen the heron in awhile. Maybe he's figured out my schedule. The kittens in the barn are fascinated with my green toe nail polish. They want to lick or bite it. Strange.

Good luck Idesim describing the skunk smell. Pungent. Lingering. It's oily and hangs in the air. We had one that sprayed at night when the windows were open. You could taste it the next morning. It's very hard to get rid of. It even smells again on dogs when it rains even weeks later.

Yes Ndgirl. It sounds like you did alot but raspberries are only available to a short time. Try to take it easy today. Do you just have red ones or do you have the clear or golden ones? I'm a blackberry girl.

Wren. Where else have you been besides France and Australia? Was it at the same time?

GrammaB. Hope youre feeling fine after your thunk on the head. Made lemon bars yet?

I hear the baby. Bet she's hungry as she didn't eat much last night. I actually picked her up at daycare after my JS appt. She was so proud to walk down the hall. Daddy carries her.

Have a good day everyone. Sleep tight M. Hope the tummy is better. I think there is nothing worse !

    Hi Zills!

I am concerned about Gramwe too. She had so much going on, I hope she's just been busy.

I haven't got anyone coming, right now, I just wanted to air out everything in the sunshine. I decided to change the linen in the room to all white with black and white ticking cushions, and lots of pillows. One of my girlfriends from Melbourne wants to come for a visit soon, and she loves all that white linen. She hasn't been well and needs to get away for a rest.

Ginger root is in the same place as garlic and onions in our supermarkets. Crystallized is very sweet, and is with dried fruit and nuts, the "Naked" one I eat, is not so sweet, but is in the same place. We eat a lot of ginger products, it's grown in Queensland so there is great ginger cordial that we mix with soda water. I have ginger candy that I love, and I use the natural organic ginger in my juices, and I grate it into a stir fry.

I would love to see turtles! We have Herons, there is one that sometimes comes and knocks on our window, I think the last owners used to feed all the birds so they are still coming around to check out if we are going to do the same.

I have to remember to take the camera on my walk with Dex to get pics for ldesim of the Swans. Tomorrow, I have my Pink Ladies meeting again, I can't believe it has been a month since the last one. No speaker tomorrow, so it will just be coffee and chatting.

I gues that Skunk smell just doesn't translate into words!

Tummy is fine tonight. I made a fritatta for me, and a green curry for Colin. I think my ginger today made a difference.

I'm off to bed now, long day tomorrow, meeting and then Podiatrist again.

Oh, for got to mention I ran into "Sweet Pea" yesterday, it was hysterical, she just couldn't place me. She was dressed in exactly the same get up and the same knitted beanie. She almost said hello, and then I think it came to her, just who I was. I just kept going! LOL

Awww Zills, I loved hearing about the baby walking down the hall with you! I hope your tummy settles down for you, and that you enjoy your green tea and ginger..Take care M x

GrammaB. I remember dust bothered me after surgery. I could see that it needed to be done. When I feel fine I don't notice!

Also you may want to consider paper products for a little while so you don't have to worry about washing up if you don't feel like it. They have pretty patterns and colors. Treat yourself!

Painted horses were a fundraiser for Lexington, horse capital of the world. Life size horses were painted however and auctioned off. There were 82 of them and some are still around local businesses and horse farms. Most were located downtown prior to the auction and we would take the kids on walks to see. Paris does whiskey barrels. I think Lex also did foals one year and Cincinnati did pigs.

Good grief. It's been forever since I've been here. Moira has added on a new room for her shopping addiction, Colin has joined in the addiction, so expanding the pantry will be next. Hummm wonder if waist lines will be expanding too? I see Dex next with his own little computer and credit card to clean out the shelves of Pet Smart. Speaking of Dex maybe he should be shown pictures of "Sweet Pea" in case you run into her again on a walk he could nip at her ankles or tinkle on her shoe.

Zills has taken up gourmet cooking. Corn dogs in muffin tins genius! Plus getting in some dance moves trying to protect her toes from the kittens. Better the kittens than the turtles! Those bad guys could amputate a toe. Hope the green tea and ginger helps with the tummy issues. Watching little people learn to use their new found legs is so adorable. They have such a look of pride on their tiny faces.

Bobo is still wearing her punk style wonder woman ensemble. Moving at the speed of light, teaching the masses, whipping up knitted knockers, child rearing, more balls in the air than a circus juggler. It's already been determined that she doesn't eat, now I'm thinking she doesn't sleep either, there can't be enough hours in a day for even a nap to be penciled into that break neck schedule. Forget gardening you don't need another thing on your plate. Buzz by the farmers market, someone else does the work, you enjoy the flavors.

GrammaB, is curled up on her new recliner, nursing sore muscles from lobbing off limbs and moving furniture. At least she can enjoy the view of her paradise while she nurses her pain. Now you can relax. All your chores are done, meals prepared, supplies are bought, you deserve a rest.

Idesim, like me, gets a chuckle out of her DHs misfortunes, even if she does have to endure the smells. Plus shes still stealing Bobos thunder while getting called down for rapid posting, something I can never be accused of doing. Enjoying McDonalds fries, sounds a lot better than humus. Not as healthy but a lot more tasty.

Wren is a world traveler, too! A French frock? Wouldn't know one if I saw one. Hand washed anything should be against the law, then again so should a lot of the back to school fashions today.

Nd has been slipping across the border and canning up a storm. Maybe a trip to her house about mid-December to enjoy a nice dinner is in order.

Now if I missed anyone, please forgive me, it is hard to read while running on a hamster wheel. I WAS excited to flip the calendar to August today, until I saw 13 therapy, 3 doctor, and 2 lab appointments had already beat me there. The great foob war continues to rage, he stills says he can't tell I'm wearing them, so I'm on a misson to rid myself of my Buddah belly so the OG can distinguish between the 2. I have named them "The Mrs Doubtfires" every time I put them on visions of Robin Williams in that movie flashes through my head. I refuse to cook on the grill while wearing them for fear of setting them on fire! The nuclear stress test was yesterday, I didn't die. No results yet, but the PA tended to agree that F femara may be the problem. Until the next MO appointment I've decided to take them every other day to see if there is any difference. Today is our 1 day without any appointments so there's dogs and cats to be bathed, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, lawn mowing, weed eating, etc. etc. etc. to be accomplished. Hugs. Be back when I can. Even when I'm not here you are each still in my heart and thoughts.

Zills, I haven't been to Australia. It's next on my list, but the size is intimidating. Where do I start? What do I leave out? It's like having 2 weeks to see the USA. I've mostly been to Europe, Greece, Lebanon and Russia. And of course Hawaii. I don't want to live there, but Jan-Feb is miserable here and I long for the sun. I worked for an airline, then as a travel agent.

Bobo, I concur that you don't need a garden on top of everything else. Just go to the farmer's market. If you decide to have one next year, see if someone has written a book for your area. Or ask a local plant nursery what they recommend. It varies so much by location. Next summer get poles and put them in a teepee shape. Grow scarlet runner beans. They'll make a tent the kids can play under, have pretty red blossoms, and the beans are edible.

So who has been to Australia? Wasn't there a discussion about koalas? I'm so easily confused.

But cool you've been to all those places. Lebanon was family? Not usually on the top list of places to visit or is it near Greece? I'm going to have to get a map and calendar to keep up.

My favorite series of books was about Mrs. Emily Polifax, who became a spy. She traveled all over the world. It's been a long time since I read those. Your trips reminded me of it. Sorry Wren. Are you a secret spy? Not that you would ever tell.

Do scarlet runner beans have another name? We have something similar here. That would be cool for my kids. Probably not too late now. I bet they grow fast.

I think you are a few hours north of me? I'm west of Tampa. Not much garden stuff will grow now, too hot. Wait till end of Oct, then start lettuce, peas, etc. then in Feb start tomatoes, summer things.

    Zills

As a former cincinnatian, yes, pigs fly there. There are even statues along a riverfront park with flying pigs. Do you know where Lawrenceburg is? My dad was from there.

    Morning all!

Gramwe, so wonderful to see you this morning! I was starting to wonder if you'd been arrested in a F Femara outburst, and we hadn't been notified as kin!

So many appointments again this month. I hope the every other day Femara works out for you.

I "get" the Budha Belly thing, it's weird isn't it? but I am so sorry you're having issues with the new foobs. Are they smaller than your knitted knockers, and real ones?

You make me laugh with your fear of the stove, and I love Zills idea of cooking topless, just don't cook bacon, the sizzle will be painful.

So glad today is a day off...... NOT! Please try to take it easy, we've missed you!

Hi Wren, It as ldesim who has been to Australia, and has kept up her TV viewing habits from being here!

I know Australia is a huge place, but everyone lives around the edges! LOL If you ever make it to here, a side trip to Gippsland would be great. I'd gladly show you around. Just remember that Jan-Feb is our HOTTEST time!

Working for an airline sure spoils us doesn't it? I just about sob every time I have to fly economy, in fact, I try not to fly at all these days. I know, I am like a spoiled child, Colin tells me this, every time I start whinging about it.

I really wasn't suggesting Bobo start a full blown garden, just a few pots that the children could look after, nothing more than water and picking a few pieces for dinner. I hadn't figured how hot it was there. I am just about to re do all my pots, and raised bed for the season.

Zills, it was ldesim and me talking about koalas.

Hi Spookiesmom, haven't seen you in ages, how are you!

I am off to get ready for the "Pink Ladies" meeting this morning, have I mentioned how I hate that name? LOL I have the Tim Tams ldesim! Just need to get milk on the way. My friend Val is making Jam Drops, no speaker today, so I wonder what we will talk about. It is rarely cancer, I must say.

I won't be back till ate this afternoon, have to go into town to Podiatrist, and then some shopping for large plastic tubs to store some of the Marika stuff. I doubled and trebled up on some items that were so drastically reduced, so I can store some and replace as needed. I know, I know, I over did it. LOL

    Take care everyone.....M x

Hey spookiesmom. Lawrenceburg is about 45 min away if Keeneland isn't on. We've built barns there and my team teacher lives there. They also have hare scrambles. That means you ride a dirt bike thru the woods and its timed with trophies.

Did you have problems with nausea on chemo? Or acid? Any tips? I'm having sorta a rough time and didn't get my good week before round 4 and its not looking like I'll have one for round 5. How many rounds did you do?

I didn't mean a big garden for bobo either but she's probably looking for some activities for the next month. I know its hot, hot there. My child loves to dig. A trick to keep them interested is to "plant" lollipops in the dirt after they planted seeds. They will be so excited to find them.

    Hi Zills

Heard that about Keenland, my cuz loved to play the ponies.

Gramps pulled a fast one on the kids. He got a branch, then he and the kids planted Cherrios. He said they were donut seeds, and the next time they came over there would be donuts on it. Sure enough.............chocolate ones no less!!!!

I did 4 cycles A/C. Was supposed to do 4 Taxotere, but had a Severe allergic reaction. I had mild nausea, really bad diarrhea lost taste, couldn't eat. Have lost 37# so far.

After it was too late I read on BCO not to eat your favorite things while in treatment. I did like a dummy, now I can't even look at that.

I'm doing Arimidex now for the next 10 years. Hot flashes are awful.

This time I am going for a smaller post and continue on another.  Don't want a repeat of last night!

Ariom sorry you have tummy issues too.  I love ginger to fix it when I get an upset tummy.  I have tea that is just ginger, some preserved ginger and I always have fresh ginger in the refridgerator.  It does the trick every time!

I've got to check out Target for the bamboo underwear!

I still have to reorganize the kitchen so I can reach things and the bathroom too. But you are right I've got 12 days to go and I will run out of busy work soon.  No more retail therapy, I just got the bill for the stereotatic biospy today and my share is still a heafty chunk of change!!

Cinnamon almonds are one of my guilty pleasures.  I make them myself with Ideal Brown Sugar substitute.  They really satisfy a sweet tooth and are good nutrition too!

Zills, sorry you are still having tummy problems.  Maybe the ginger will help you too!

I'm fine after the whack to the head from the tree pruner.  That was my clue to put it up and quit for the day!

Thanks for the tip about the dust. Living on a dirt road tends to make that a full time occupation!!  I did pick up some paper plates and bowls today.  Thanks for that idea!

gramwe, good to hear from you!  I still have a few more chores to get done but I am going to end up with time on my hands pretty soon!  Sorry your schedule is still so crowded.  Your "Mrs. Doubfires" really cracked me up!!

Wren, I'm with you, I would love to go to Australia!!  I've been all over Europe and lots of places in Canada w/DH. A couple of years after he passed I went to the Philippines on a Habitat for Humanity build and from there visited Singapore, Taiwan, & Bangkok. The following year I spent a month in India with a group, travelling all over the country visiting spiritual sites.  My late DH was quite the globe trotter and he really got me hooked too!

The tent idea with the beans sounds really cool. I'm with you Wren, bobo, let the garden idea go until next year.

Hi spookiesmom!  Nice to see you here too! (Note to others: We originally met on a diabetes board, that neither of us frequent any more!)

Sorry you had such a tough time. I'll be interested in se you get from the Arimidex.  I won't have any chemo and hopefully no rads, but my MO wants to put me on Arimidex and I am not so sure I want to do that.  A lot depends on the path after my surgery.

I love the donut tree idea!!  How cute is that??

OK, I think I am all caught up!

    Have a good evening all!

When I started the Arimidex food was just yucky. Tasted ok, just didn't want it. Lost 7# in 6 weeks. Se's for me are hot flashes, insomnia. The put me on low amt Effexor sleeping better, hot flashes not as bad. Did get trigger thumb, PCP did injection and it's gone now.

Made corn dog muffins last night. Yuck. We like our cornbread sweet. Baby wouldn't eat them. Boy did. Orange cupcakes were the bribe. He just ate the icing. Trying to make ginger tea this morning.

She has been off her feed for a couple of days. Daycare said she wasn't right at school but played fine with her brother last night. Both have gotten up too early the past two days. However there is a stomach virus in her room. Please don't bring it home!

Nurse hasn't called back about my reflux. Arghh! Believe the meds wear off after 12 hours. See conflicting advice about what to eat/drink to be alkaline.

Zills, sorry you are still not feeling better.  Oh boy, those were the days when the kids would bring home all the kid crud from school!! I sure hope you can dodge that bullet!!

Spookiesmom, so the Arimidex took away your appetite?  Like the way metformin does?  I'm adding this to my list of things not to like about it.

Another cool cloudy with a bit of rain day.  I like it!!  The opressive heat was getting me down.  I sleep so much better when it is cooler.

Working on organizing my freezer better.  I have too much stuff that has been there too long.....need to get some stuff eaten up soon.  Will be doing some creative cooking for the next few days. :)

Sort of like met, but without the gastro issues. Didn't last long, week or two. I'd sit to eat, have a few bites, and ugh. I was done. Didn't seem to matter what it was.
