    Good Morning all!

Beautiful calm sunny day here, not a breath of wind.

How funnny Wren, that you speak of that type of hat. I just bought the Aussie version that has a net all over to keep the mozzies off! Yours could be incorporated into the mix to repel the Maggies, and the mozzies at the same time. Between all this, next door has a big bee population living in the walls of their outbuilding. So we have many bees around too. It is all a bit too "country" for this City girl.

Thank you gB, the garden is doing great things. I am surprised how well after such a short time. It was bulldozed and completely replanted less than a year ago. It will fill out, but not grow any higher because this is the front garden that has the lake view. The other street side garden is way bigger, and a completely different style. It has some of the original trees, but everything else is different from when we bought the house. Lots more garden beds and the little veggie patch.

Isn't it funny how we have different instructions on how to manage ourselves after surgery. The push for the exercises is extreme here. When my Mother had her UMX in '94, it was just the same. I would often walk in on her doing the same set of exercises I was given and told to do 4x a day. I remember it was my Mother who did them under the warm water of the shower, first thing in the morning. I did the same and have passed that on to everyone too. It was a great way to get the process started every day.

You have the books on the Rites gB.If you have the slightest doubt about any of the positions, don't do it, move to the alternative position described in the book. I don't do no 4, "The Table" because my arthritic shoulders just can't take that position, but the alternative is no strain at all. It all must be undertaken very slowly, so take as long as you need to. Don't push it at all. I am trying to do another set of 9 during the day, but always forget to do them before I eat. I'll have to make it a set time. I do try to get in the spinning at another time through the day. It is said that this is the most important of the Rites. It has done wonders for my postural vertigo. I don't "dizzy out" at all now. So if nothing else finding this has been worth it for this alone.

I hadn't driven to town on my own till well after my surgery. Colin took me in whenever I wanted to go shopping. I had an "irrational" fear of hitting a kangaroo on the road. Every time I was about to attempt it, I would either hear that someone we knew had hit a 'roo, or I would see one on the side of the road when Colin had driven me in. I am over that fear now, even though it is a real possibility at dawn or dusk, so I avoid coming home late in the day, just in case. The trip for me is about 12 minutes each way because it is mainly a 100km speed limit, so a 35km round trip.

Take care gB, stay out of the rain! M x

OMG! Ariom, your place looks like a little piece of Heaven to me! how beautiful! and so nice things dont freeze in the winter. we did have a frost but not a killing one, my squash and cucumber vines are still fine, and they are the first to get hit when it comes! Thanks so much for the picture.

Gramwe, glad you found some meds in your pharmacy.. I do the same, my brother and wife go to Texas for the winter and usually go into Mexico, they bring back antibiotics that are so cheap, I have some on hand, I try to never take any unless really needed tho, but yes they work. I picked up some in Mexico when we were on a vacation to Cancun and they worked just fine. Hope you continue to feel better.

I can hardly wait to hear Bobo's story! hope the little princess is ok. Busy day again, got the lawn mowed before the next rain will come, cleaned up some garden produce, made a little pumpkin, ghourd, scarecrow decorations for the yard, love to decorate for fall too. We went to Canada for a quick breakfast outing and then dh had to go combining.. harvesting, alot of crop out yet! Take care everyone.

Zills, glad you got out, it does just help to see some other sites I know, and agree hubbies need to realize just what goes on with these little ones.. much as we love them, they can be a real challenge at times, and for you going thru what you are is just a big HEAP!

Oh, the dog with lyme disease is doing just fine, but had to take 3 pills a day for 21 days! so glad he is ok.

Thanks ndgirl, I have never loved a place like I love this one!

It is possible, but I rarely lose any plants in the frost here. We are close to the snowfields, but don't get snow, thank goodness. I hate snow.

We don't have any way to buy medication other than with a prescription here. I always stock up on cortisone creams and antibiotic ointment when I am in the US, we need a script for those too. It is a real racket over here. The cost of medications, unless you have a pension card, that makes most things $6.00, you are paying upwards of $25.00 each for everything. It is rediculous. I make a habit of stockpiling antibiotics if I get a prescription with a repeat I don't use.

I am really getting concerned about our Bobo. It has been a while since she posted. I am hoping she is just too busy having a great weekend and Anniversary.

Take care everyone.... checking back later..M x

Can't believe it, just looked out the window to see a Kangaroo bounding past my fence! First time I have seen one up here. We get a visiting Echidna (ant eater thing) many lizards, and the occasional fox, but never a 'roo before.....M

Oh my a roo by the fence she says nonchalantly. I'd be peeing my pants if I saw a roo. I get to see the crazy woman on the left, hoisting her fat a$$ out the window so she can have a secret meeting with her man without her mum knowing, shes 60....Or the crazy one on the right pops over, removes her dentures and places them unceremoniously on my kitchen counter. Then there's he-woman across the street ...hummmm if a roo hopped by she'd disembowl it in one swoop..after she hopped off her Harley, and bit the heads off small children..I was going to complain about lack of wild life, until I reread...we've got some wild lives going on, unfortunately they are also neighbors ....Lol..

Bobo where are you? We miss you.

I received NO instruction post BMX. No exercises to do, No instruction on messages, nothing. They just tossed me out of the hospitals revolving door and that was that.

Nd I normally don't stock piles meds, but after my 3rd bout of pneumonia winter before last, the doctor gave me 7 days of antibiotic samples, she told me to hold on to them in case I started to feel like I was coming down with pneumonia again. Luckily it didn't happen then so I still had them, just wish I had remembered before I went to the doctor last week. Now I do have pain meds running out my ears! Between me and the OGs sicknesses, and injuries we have a big assortment in a variety of strengths neither of us enjoy taking them. There's also enough bandages in there to patch up an army.

4:30 comes early so I'm turning in, see y'all tomorrow. Hugs

He He! Gramwe made me laugh out loud again! she is a hoot! I wish I was your neighbor, oh but wait.. I would be way too boring!! But I love Ariom's statement that a roo just jumped by!! I would love to see that! Ariom, glad you dont get snow if you hate it, I actually love it to a degree, but we get way too much for too long! but at first I welcome it, a time to slow down, the earth and fields are resting, after busy harvest times and fall preparations for winter we all feel we need a little down time, and time for reflection too. But boy spring is slow coming at times, this spring was terrible, I had surgery in southern MN in April and I think the week we were there 3 storms!! that is a little unusual tho. We always hope for a late and slow winter but we take what we get and of course bitch about it!!

Bobo.. thinking about you. hope all is well.

Girls, there was no one , more surprised than me. The people around here tell me I remind them of Petticoat Junction, in a nice way! You would never find anyone less country than me. I have never lived further than 7kms from the Central Business District. So a Roo hopping past is a WOW for me too!

I just got back from town. I went in to buy my salad and herbs for the garden. Except for a couple off sorry looking punnets, there was nothing, nada, sold out! I couldn't believe it.

When I got home Colin couldn't wait to tell me that he and Dex had been corralled in to the living area because they were visited by a huge old Bluetongue Lizard. It decided to have a snooze at our front door, so Colin couldn't let Dex out in case he may get brave and have a go at it. I know who'd come off second best. Lizards have a really dirty bite. I am sure that is universal. So it has been a real Nature Day. If you add the Kookaburra laughing right now outside, it's been very interesting!

Gramew, cracks us up again. I think you missed your calling. You'd make a great Comedienne, especially with the F Femara for added juice!

Your neighbors sound...mmmm interesting! I bet ther's never a dull moment with that lot.

Now I am wondering, would I have turned out the same if I had just not bothered with all that massage and exercise? You have done well Gramwe, without it. While I did all the required poses and contorted myself into different shapes because I had the fear of God put into me if I didn't do them Religiously, I would never get my ROM back.

ndgirl, I love the picture postcard look of the snow, but it is walking in it that I cannot tolerate. I have told the story here before about how my Father was in an accident in Scotland when a mine lift plummetted to the bottom, shattering his ankle. He was in Hospital for 13 months. My Mother would take me to visit him every day. We had to walk quite a distance to the bus. That crunching/ squeaking sound of walking in snow in rubber galloshes  is like nails on a blackboard for me. I have never gotten over that! I have been to the snow, but after getting into the accomodation, that's where I stay. No running about in the snow for me! I do, however, enjoy the roaring fire, the view and the food!LOL

Still no word from our girl. Could the internet be down again? I hope that's all it is. M x

Here I am!  I have so much to say after reading all these posts!

First off, I love the 'Where is everyone's pillow?' update.  gB, I made care packages with a little pillow in them.  I was just getting my sewing projects organized for Christmas this weekend (!), so I started one for you!  You have to PM me with your address.

So glad the doggie is better, but... is it really that fast for dogs?  I would be circumspect; I thought Lyme required a lot of healing and testing.  And... seven days of antibiotics, granwe?  I thought it was supposed to be ten.  Will you check with your PCP?  I don't want that 'boomerang effect' to happen to you -- you know, when you stop antibiotics too soon.  I am so glad you are feeling a little better -- you have had so much to deal with.

Sorry I didn't post this weekend, but everyone has been what I call 'up my a$$ players' all weekend long, following me every single second, even into the bathroom.  (That saying is kind of a theatre saying -- it's kind of like the title of a repertory theatre troupe... like: Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting the Up My A$$ Players...).  Hmm.  The anniversary.  I staggered home Friday, exhausted, and DLLP had ordered takeout.  I had stopped at the beer store (where I had said to the man, Give me the fanciest and most delicious beer you have!  Which I had never heard of).  I also brought her a cream cheese brownie.  And I made her a card 'on the hoof' (I am full of jargon today), while I was teaching, which enumerated ten things I love about her.  And then we ate AT THE TABLE after the kids went to bed ( Idesim, can you believe it?), and then we watched a movie and drank some of that beer.  We both tried to stay up a little later.  I might mention now that my mother is coming again this weekend.  As I have said, she is married to my brother now, so whenever she comes to help him with the kids, she's going to stay with us too.  This time it's overnight Friday, leave Saturday 'After you finish the grocery shopping.'  Did you know my mother thinks I am not a good mother?  Every sidelong word, and silence, and glance, and backhanded question, telegraphs this information.  So it is a little confusing to hear all of your kind and sweet words regarding my mothering.  I am certainly trying my best.

Granwe, you are so sweet to move here!  Please do so immediately.  And bring OG and DD with you, and the grapefruit, but not the Weasel.  I can't believe you handed him the whisk!  When you get here the tables will turn -- I'm going to take care of you!  And our princess is going to brush your hair.  Incidentally, her doctors don't really say anything about activity -- they are blase -- and they are grateful she does not have, say, full blown seizures ten times a day.  As am I.  But they are also inveterate dissemblers, those doctors.  I really have no idea what's going on, and honestly, neither do they.  I don't know why they get paid.  I do know that she won't grow out of it.

    Posting.

I reply to myself.  Yesterday was completely taken up with the story of our Princess' haircut!  Oh, the drama!  Off we went to the mall (just us two), and as you know, I had a plan.  Haircut place in the mall.  We turned the chair away.  Unfortunately there was a little girl in the seat next to her -- the hairdresser was blowing out her long flaxen hair before trimming the bottom of it -- and it was long and beautiful like the tail of a horse.  Our princess was just staring, miserable, while our hairdresser got out what looked like a sheep trimmer and began whacking away at her enormous bush of hair.  I know you are going to say, Why didn't you go to a better place that would do African American hair?  Well, verily I say unto you that the A-A hair community would never have assented to cutting her hair.  They would radiate disapproval.  They would want me to be doing different things to her hair than I do, because I believe some of those things cause headaches, and the little braids in the eyes make it hard to read.  They want me to put product in that she's allergic to.  They like straightening hair with chemicals, even for little girls!  This I have learned from years of experience.

So, the sheep.  Well, she was trying to sneak little peeks, and she was getting increasingly miserable.  And silent.  My little chattering and singing magpie was totally silent.  One tear threatened to slide down.  I was opposite her, my best smile, talking away.  And then I was on one knee in front of her, like a Prince Charming, kissing her hand.  I was telling her how beautiful she looked.  But she was the picture of misery.  She is so seldom like that, it shook me badly.

Off to the ear piercing place.  I was radiating false cheer.  She was a zombie.  She picked out her pink diamonds, didn't flinch when they went in.  As they were prepping, putting marks on her ears, and as I was checking to see if they were even, I had a terrible long moment of Oh no.  I am putting holes in the baby.  I am... desecrating the baby.  I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.  I was a little lightheaded.  Hooray!  I shouted, clapping my hands.  Pink diamonds!  This is so much fun!  She was completely without expression.

Should we go to Starbucks?  I asked.  She shrugged.  Then I spied the A and A store.   Should we go to the bracelet store?  I asked.  A nod.  Fifty-eight dollars later, she was in possession of a pink beaded wrap bracelet and some excellent pink diamond encrusted bobby pins.  May I mention here that the university messed up my pay this period and I have only been paid for one of my three jobs.

She's a little better at this point.  Off to the ice cream sundae store.  There is a special one -- karma cream -- with vegan nut free ice cream.  But when we got there, the manager informed us that they have replaced the vegan ice cream with COCONUT ice creams!  Now, I love that myself, but there was NOTHING FOR OUR PRINCESS?!  Hot flash.  Luckily there were some giant homemade vegan cupcakes with a brownie sticking out.  After grilling the manager until he was in tears regarding whether or not the cupcakes had nut products in them, we ordered one for her, one for W boy.  Once she got some cupcake in her, she was very nearly her old self!  Thank you cupcake!

She remains worried this morning regarding whether or not her friends will laugh at her.  I sent a message to her teacher about it, and copied many of the parents.  So stand by.  Many thanks for your sweet words this weekend, you guys!  I could not live without you, I think.  Wait -- what's the appt schedule this week?  I'm Wednesday 8:20 and Thursday 9:20.  But I know I am not the only one.  XOXO

I don't have any suggestions for her haircut. It's not summer time, need a cute, short do. Not trying to match Mommy's chemo cut. That's what worked on my boy. I know it always took a few days for a hairstyle to "grow" on me. Hopefully she'll get some compliments at school and will come home happy.

Sounds like we need to come up with some mother jobs for her to do since it seems she might be visiting more often than wanted. Or maybe you can get three! tickets to something and get the kids excited about going before she arrives so she won't back out.

ND. What's DH combining? The boy would love it.

Going to do a workout on tv.

Thanks Bobo for the report, oh I feel so bad for little Princess! But kids do rebound quickly and you sure did the right thing in notifying the teachers and some parents as well. I would think you mom should realize what you are dealing with and would be willing to help you instead of looking down her nose!! It would be such a plus if she would come and help and be supportive of you and family. Well, maybe in time huh? or have you given up on that prospect?

Happy dance Ariom, lets hope we all get that when the time comes... no cancer! mine wont be until spring or later, but I can already imagine how nervous I will be..

Zills, they finished the barley and still have wheat and canola left. no corn or sunflowers this year. Yes your boy would love it. kids just love to ride in those huge machines and now they are so tech savy it is unbelievable! with GPS and auto steer, gauges to tell them when the hopper is full and almost full! we got another half inch of rain today so nothing today.

Wow.  ND, are your grandsons harvesting grains?  I am so into that.  I love all grains.  I can't believe you just have, like, grains everywhere.  And your garden.  It is gobsmacking. No, no, ND, things will probably not change, it has always been thus.

Granwe, excellent suggestion!  I should just tell my mother to Stick it.  Stick it, I will tell her.  It's true that I have become increasingly more distant, even hostile, as she does things like... sit on her fat A$$ at my brother's house, here in town, whilst the princess performs in her play, here in town.

Z, I think I will give my mother the job of arranging the children's books.  We are still unpacking.  There are children's books everywhere.  As I type this our Princess is reading and finishing her dinner.  I allow it because she needs to unwind after a long day.  She feels the stress of being social, of keeping everybody happy, and then sometimes she gets right in the car and picks up a book.  I used to do the same thing, but my own mother would force me to attend to her, make dinner, etc.  I was Cinderella for Halloween more than once.  But I digress. I am 40, after all.  Who cares what she does?  Anyway, I allow it.  She's reading a book, and she's got a little stack next to her.  She likes to have a little stack next to her.  That slays me.

WB update?  Well, he's not in the mood to chew.  It's too much work!  So he'll ask for more of the soft foods, and bolt them down without chewing.  We have to remind him to chew.  No, no dental problems.  Just in case you were wondering what he is up to... out of sorts today because all eyes were on our Princess and her haircut.  She says all went well.

Ariom -- a kangaroo?!  I am gobsmacked.  I would have been running around, smacking myself, screaming with glee, scaring the kangaroo.  I go crazy, for example, when I see a goat.  I have always wanted a goat.  A giant aggressive lizard?!  I have just got to visit.

M, nobody has any real experience with epilepsy, I think.  It is so individualized.  And it can change at any time.  And you don't get any real answers.  You have to be ready for anything.  That's why we didn't sleep for the first three or four months or so.  You just don't know how bad it's going to be.  Hard to believe it was only a year ago.

So,  what's on the coffee table?  And who else has appts this week?

Good morning all, beautiful day here again.

Oh goodness, here I am, as usual, sitting in my dressing gown posting to you girls and a car pulls up outside my front fence. An unusual occurrence because there is no road there just a grassy walking track. Low and behold, it is one of the men who wrestled the big pots into position for me. He had asked if I wanted any more of the "Elephant Ears" plants he had seen in my street side garden. I said I'd love some if he had them. Well, he's been gone for weeks on a job as operations manager for a big mining company, and just remembered to drop me off a huge load of the plants he had removed from his new house to replace with a cottage garden.

I hate being caught in my dressing gown and no makeup, not to mention sans foob! I really must try to bypass the computer in the morning to get civilised first, and then read and answer!

I am going to take my own advice and go get ready now...chat later....M x

Yeehaw Ariom!!!! I know you are so relieved.

Yes our Aldi doesn't have any bagging space either but we never have a que or much of one. It's Octoberfest here with all the German mustards and stuff. Should be time for the pumpkin spice latte.

Bobo. My nephew doesn't like chewing real meat as opposed to processed meat. Maybe it's a boy thing.

My appt is next week. I'll be so disappointed if I have to have more chemo. I'm enjoying feeling good. Tomorrow I should have the house all to myself. Watch out clutter! Going to drag out Halloween stuff. Must do paperwork. Yuck!

Took boy to dentist today then met DH for lunch. All the boy worried about was his sister. She's napping. You have us all to yourself!

Stopped off at Walmart on the way home. Looked at the costumes. Guess he's serious about being a 4 wheeler since he didn't pick one out. He has it all planned. He's a 4 wheeler, the baby is a knight (Jane from Jane and the Dragon), I'm Sally and DH is Frank from Cars. Sally is a Porsche and Frank is a combine. Guess I need to get some headlights!

Came home and he threw up. Hoping it's just from the floride and nothing contagious. He ate 2 hotdogs for dinner and a bunch of beans.

We operate on the principle if it sounds good, it must be ok. I had training tonight so wanted something quick and easy.

Bobo, no grandson are not harvesting, but when they lived here they would ride with grandpa in the combine. Yes we have grain everywhere, I wish you could see the fields in the summer when the canola is blooming, it is bright yellow and when flax is in bloom it is a lovely blue, looks like a beautiful blue lake, and all other grains at that time are green, but as it ripens (wheat and barley) it turns golden, and sunflowers make a beautiful statement  turning their heads to the sun, I miss seeing them this year, altho there is a few fields a some miles down the road. Corn is beginning to be grown more up north here now too. We dont activally farm, we own farmland and my nephew does the farming but my dh helps with harvest only. The farms have become so large in the last decade it is crazy! but that is the way it is now. It is beautiful here now but not so much for the long cold winter, all places have their good and bad! oh about the goats.. a family just out of our town used to raise little pygmy goats and all the kids would love them! they would invite the kindergarten children out to their barn and of course anyone else that wanted to go, children could pick them up and carry them around, i have many pictures of our grandson carrying goats! Maybe you need to come for a visit to the country life!! I bet your kids would love the space and freedom to play around here too~ wish I could scoop you all up for a visit!! I like the idea of princess loving and reading books, I always did that and still do, love to get lost in a book.

Ariom, I would love to see the roo, but the lizard.. not so much, not big on reptiles. that would frighten me to have big ones around. Elephant ears must do great in Austrailia, we dont have a long enough growing season for them, altho I have had them do pretty well one summer.

Zills, hoping the best for your appt. and no more chemo. love the halloween prep! that is so fun for kids isnt it? a day we can be something or someone else.. pretending is good fun.

Still waiting to hear what Gramwe choses to decorate or tattoo her foobs with!!

    Good night all.

Ariom, Your elephant ears brought back memories of Houston. They grow well there as do caladiums. Seattle is on the same line (can't remember if it's latitude or longitude) as Paris. Things that grow in England and France do very well here. Things that require warm weather sometimes do well if we have a good summer.

NDgirl, I lived in Kansas for a while when I was a child. I loved the fields turning golden with sunflowers along the fence line and in the corners. One of my great uncles was a wheat farmer and I think he outlived all his siblings. I credit lots of exercise, being outdoors and eating from his own garden.

Bobo, I'm glad you let the princess read. I used to read constantly. Mom would have to let me borrow books on her card too so I wouldn't run out in 2 weeks.

I have been flat out today getting the place ready for Colin's sister and her son, Colin's nephew coming tomorrow. They haven't seen Joan in a long time, so they will be shocked at the difference in her.

Yeah, M. So glad you finally got the results and that they were fantastic. I can't imagine you as a reluctant hostess. No matter the guest I'm sure you will be gracious and make them feel welcome.

Zills we may need to get in your bag a little early for your appointment to give you extra positive energy. We will all wear our No Mo Chemo shirts. I'm excited that you are feeling well too. Love the Halloween costume ideas.

Nd you describe the fields of grain beautifully. I admire farmers, they have to work hard and their livelihood depends on the whims of nature. It isn't an easy life. I'd love to drive a combine just once.

Bobo having a child that loves to read is great, books have taken me to places I will never see in real life. Our DGS1 loves books, he always has one in his hand, right now it's the Harry Potter ones. I was afraid he wasn't really ready for that series since he's only 7, but as usual he showed me differently.

Wren you taught me something again! Never considered that other places along the same line grew the same things. Now I'll have to do some investigating.

I spent yesterday in the wonderful outdoors! The little veggie garden is gone, the pet cemetery has been freed of weeds, all the hanging pots were emptied of summer flowers and are awaiting pansies, the pompous grass that I detest had a haircut, and part of the ivy was tamed. Today its more ivy taming, if I can get the ladder to that side of the fence, and maybe some window washing. Tomorrow is the day that we hopefully find out the sex of the new Grandbaby. I'm so excited!

    Hugs to everyone!

Ooh!  Our baby!  I am trying not to hope one way or another.

M, I posted your 'all-clear' letter on our refrigerator, metaphorically. I  felt proud!  One down, as you said, but still, it deserves a celebration!  Will you eat an entire pack of tim-tams?

Being a reluctant hostess sucks.  I am one this weekend for my mother.  Did I say that?  I hope the weekend passes quickly for you.

Agree, granwe -- let's get in the bag early for Z.  I would love a NO MO! shirt.  I will spill beer on it in the bag.  I feel it's my number one mission to irritate Idesim in the bag.  I don't know how that evolved. My number two mission is to get into fights with doctors and nurses if necessary.  Number three is to raise my fist in the air and shout 'Tip your waitress!' if we get tossed out.

nd, you live in a curious wonderland that seems as beautiful and exotic to me as the Wizard of Oz (the color part).  I loved your story.  I am mad about goats.  I would do anything to pick up a baby goat.  How can I make that happen?

Hmm.  Nothing interesting for me today.  America's Favorite BS tomorrow. I  have promised myself free access to the Ativan today, should I need it.  I am terribly stingy with myself regarding Ativan.  I still have 38 from the 40 I was given in preparation for the last surgery!

Best advice regarding how to persuade America's Favorite to pull the trigger on the mx?  She's always like, Hey!  Everything's great!  BC is curable!  We'll catch it early!  There's no need for MX!  Let's just take out another gouge!

Bobo, you give her M's pointy eyes, and say, I've had enough gouges, you work for ME, and I want a MX. Now when can you get it scheduled? " No further discussion! Want me to hop out of the bag?

    Hugs.

Kitchens mopped, laundry is done, bed is changed, fridge is clean, garbage is on the street, bathrooms are cleaned, now as soon as the floor is dry I'm outside to play. : )

Bobo, well last I heard.. there is no CURE for cancer, yes it can be treatable and controlled but to use the word cure is just not proper, or at least in my world! I cannot believe you can't have what you desire to get rid of the cancer in the way you see fit for your body.. I am in the bag with you all the way.. oh wait that sounds like we are both drunk! well what ever it takes!! Stick to your guns.. as we say up north! probably is politically correct in this world anymore is it? but you know what I mean, it is stictly your decision damn it! your body, your life!

back to the goats.. they are cute and funny but can also be a big pain in the butt. those little twerps will walk all over your car, eat anything in site so you have to be careful too! but they are fun. hope things go well with mom.. or at least tolerable.

Ariom, being a reluctant hostess.. hmmm been there, done that, glad when it is done.

Ok Bobo. Here's my solicited advice. Start practicing NOT saying anything. Maybe you can already do this.

Go in there calm and collected. Do not get undressed. Do not sit on the table. Sit in a chair. Drag one in if you have to. You want a face to face conversation. Sorry we don't have any Tim Tams to offer her.

Tell her you've had 4 biopsies slash lumpectomies in the past 2 years (whatever the exact numbers are). You may not realize it but I have two young children at home. I want to be around for a long time. I do not want to worry about my future in regards to breast cancer. I want to be proactive. I think a BMX is best given my history. Can you help me? Then wait.

Want to take bets on how long she takes to respond?

You may have to reiterate you want a BMX. And then wait.

Hopefully you won't have to do this more than twice for her to get the picture. You can choose to unleash Granwe and Ariom.

Once you get outside you can let us out of the bag to do the Happy dance or pat your back while you scream and yell and rant. Then go to the nearest store for either ice cream or chocolate.

We will be with you no matter what. Just don't hit her over the head with your purse. Some of us may not stay in the bag and you'd have to come up with bail money for drunk and disorderly conduct.

Wow.  That is great advice.  I am going to try to do every single thing Z says. I have a tendency, when I feel I am not being heard, to overexplain.

Oh man.  I am just trying to memorize my Z script!  Hugs to everyone. XXXX
