We went to dinner with GS2 for his 21st birthday, which was yesterday. They had stumbled on a Chinese restaurant that had really good homemade style food. DD and I each ordered an eggplant dish. She gave us the leftovers because her DH doesn't like eggplant. GS2 just joined a fraternity and works in the kitchen for part of his board. On the weekends he works in a sorority kitchen so they'll feed him. Really fun to see how cost conscious he is suddenly.

Our rain continues and we have a high wind warning as well (that's above 58mph). They say there's a high chance of trees causing outages since they still have their leaves and the ground is soaked.  It all seems a bit strange to me. I grew up in Oklahoma where the wind blows all the time and trees rarely blow over. I think they have long roots there because the the water is so far down.

Hi gB, I am so glad it wasn't just me that thought the MRI was this week.

That dinner sounds sensational! Colin loves his food super hot and spicey. That's usually what he gets for Christmas and Birthdays, lots of imported chilli products. Everyone tries to "Out Burn" each other. I have only seen him really sweat once!

I like a bit of heat in my food but not to the extent he will eat it.

Could you explain the Miracle Rice ingredient, I don't know it.

Are you still taking it easy? I didn't realise you were doing all those stretches every day. You'll find it will ease up soon, and you'll feel much better.

I was so motivated today, thank you Wren! I went to town and bought my lettuce and herbs, tomatoes, some strawberries, and some punnets of lobelia to put around the edges of some pots. I will probably plant tomorrow. I came home and I was wheezing again. Don't feel bad, just a bit tight in the chest.

    Take care everyone M x

I knew Bobos appointment was next Sun. for once I'm on track. Gives me a whole week to stock up on beer and snacks for the trip. I'll rev up the bad attitude in case its needed. I have a story, excuse me while I get off track. Our DGS1 is named Atticus, we call him Atta, or as his mom spells it Adda for short, he has a cousin about 9 months younger than him named Elye. When Atticus was about 4 I was keeping him one afternoon and he was being a toot, back talking, being a little terror, so unlike him. Anyway, I looked at him and said, "Son I don't like your attitude." Quick as a wink he replied, "my attitude is a lot better than an Elye-tude." Since that day whenever we encounter someone with a poor attitude they are crowned with an Elye-tude, so that's what I'll take to Bobos appointment, just on case it's needed.

Oh Nd, I'm excited you are bring my favorite food to the appointment. Tomatoes, fresh off the vine in my opinion is one of the greatest foods on earth. I have at least one everyday, thinking of them coming to an end makes me sad. No freeze here for awhile I hope. We've been feeding my chickens over ripe tomatoes, every couple of days I move their coop, in one of their former locations in the yard I found 4 new tomato plants yesterday, I'm going to leave them in hopes they grow and bloom quickly.

Shoot I got off track and now I'm out of time. Time to "run" to the park to meet my DIL for our walk. Be back when time allows. Hugs

Oh no!  Poor baby!  Will you keep us posted on her?  Hopefully it's just a passing bug?

Z, we are all in the bag for your scan, and as you can see, for various reasons some of us have an Elye-tude.  I know you've had a rough nice.  Suffice it to say you will have smooth sailing from here on out.  We are hyper-vigilant for any perceived slight or discourtesy.  Our Ariom worked in VIP relations, and she knows what proper comportment should look like.

GB, your dinner sounds yummy -- birdie, yours does too.  I love really down-home Chinese food.  It doesn't look very much like the common Chinese food you find.  And I love eggplant with garlic sauce.

Granwe, I was beginning to think I had written it wrong, but no!  You are the only one who read it correctly!  You get an 'A' this week for Reading Comprehension.

    Z, standing by.

Zills, sad the baby is sick with fever.. hope that is cleared soon. Thinking of you all day.. keep us posted. Poor baby! could it be teeth coming in?

Wren, heard on the news about your weather predictions and immediatly thought of you, wind blows all the time in nd too, guess that must be why we have all the wind towers around here, good wind power! I think you must be right and soil is so saturated that weakens the roots that arent that deep. hope you will be safe.

Gramwe love the fact you have chickens, our friends used to have bantys on their farm, but the weasals and coyotes got so plentiful that they couldnt do it anymore! used to love going out to see them.. when I was a kid on our farm we always raised chickens and turkeys! Good for you. Maybe you should get a goat just for Bobo!! or maybe not?? love the "attitude" tale! kids are the best.

Gotta run, a beautiful day here and lots to do outside, later everyone.

DIL kidnapped me and now I'm way behind for the day...The day that's almost over. Time for 1 more coat of paint before I have to mow the yard. HUGS

Today I'm hoping DH gets the new shower curtain rod up in the bathroom. Kneeling in the tub with a hand-held shower is not my favorite way of getting clean. The painting is done and looks great.

No wind damage here. My part of Seattle was settled by Norwegians and Swedes who looked at fir trees, thought 'board feet', and proceeded to build houses out of them. We probably have the biggest trees in the neighborhood. They're lombardy poplars planted in 1946. I know they have roots an inch around up by the house, so I don't think they're shallow rooted.

Zills, hoping the baby gets well quickly. With mine, that fever would have meant ear infection.

Just wanted to clarify to our Ariom and our GB:  1.  We will not have a quiet dinner after the MRI; my brother is watching the children for the procedure only, which is 11 a.m.  I just hope we can pick up take-out I can eat in bed, and

    2.  I don't think my brother necessarily leaked to my mother -- I just think perhaps it is possible.  And if so, I think it's totally f'ed up that she would know something of what's going on and not talk about it -- It's very 'Long Day's Journey Into Night' (O'Neill play).

GB, you are relatively uninitiated into the world of my mother.  Buckle your seat belt!

Chinese food.. my fav!  Now I want some!  I was sick all weekend, still not feeling so well, but got lots of sleep and really took it easy.. luckily the weather was so nice that I just sat in the sun and caught up on  some books I had laying around..  Just came back from the dentist and I'm exhausted from a small walk across town.. hopefully I feel like my old self again soon.... I'm a bit over the fatigue situation.

I am drooling over GrammaB's dinner from last night.. it sounds so good!  I love Bok Choy and haven't had it in like forever.

Granwe, what the hell are you taking besides F Femara???  Crack?? Speed??? My goodness  you are one busy girl.   Have you shared the color of the room yet??? Painting is on my HATE to do list... hate painting.. everything about it.

Wren, glad to hear you escaped any damage...  I can't remember.. what color were you doing the bathroom?  I need to know these things because I still have so much remodeling to do and not a clue what I want to do lol.

Zils, I hope the baby is doing better.. she's really had a rough time of it hasn't she.  And another death in the family.. I'm sorry to hear it.. but the good news is the women appear to live a long time!! :)

Granwe, GS1 sounds adorable and so smart!!! haha loved that story.

Beer and tomatoes.. nice call NDgirl :)

Moira, hope you are feeling better.. we just can't help ourselves overdoing it, can we.  How many types of lettuce is being planted??

Bobogirl, the loins are being girded in anticipation.  I'm glad to hear your mother wasn't as bad as usual and no I am not complimenting her, I just hope that she starts to appreciate you a bit more.

Posting before I lose this.. I probably won't be back until tomorrow  so have a great evening everybody :)

Wren, we are getting the wind/rain here too.....so glad to hear more is on the way!! NOT!!  My house is surrounded by 7-8 huge cottonwood trees, this wind does scare me a lot!!

Ariom, here is a link to the product on Amazon, Miracle Rice.  It is a ground up root, konnyaku, that is used.  I have the powder too that I use as a thickener for some sauces.  The added benifit for me is this product actually lowers my bg number the following morning.  Since I eat no grains of any sort, no breads, pastas, rice, corn wheat etc, this makes a very good and healthy vehicle for foods that just need something to soak up the sauce for an alternative to smashed cauliflower.  It comes in several pasta shapes too.

Yep, doing the exercises every time I have a moment down time, @ computer, while watching TV, etc.  Multiple times a day.  It is helping, but sometimes my rib cage is a little sore.....

gramwe, you did it again!  Great little story!! Wow, good luck with the baby tomato plants, they'd have no chance at all here!!  I do love me a fresh off the vine fresh tomato too, just have to really limit them now with the diabetes.

Zills, I'm in the bag!  So sorry about the baby, hope whatever it is passes quickly!!

bobo, my first hubby was Chinese, born in Canton.  I learned to cook from his mom.  Definitely not the Chinese restaurant fare.  But many similarities!

I think those of us that thought your appointment was yesterday were just wishing it was, so you could have it over and done with it!!  We all got so wrapped up in the fact it was a Sunday, we were thinking the soonest one!

Oops, I thought you implied your brother would have them for a while and you and DLLP would have dinner before they got home.  You are right, I do not know much about your mom, sorry if I misspoke. So I revise my comment to, I'm sorry your mom got more info than you wanted her to have and that that is all she gets going forward.  I didn't have the greatest relationship with my mom either..... she was abusive to me as a child, whether she recognized it or not. As adults we just could not relate, so I sort of get where you are.  I would never have left my children alone with her!

ldesim, cooking Chinese/stir fry is my go to meal when I can't figure out what I want to eat.  It's quick and easy and also uses up veggies that are approaching their expiration date in the drawer.

Sorry you haven't been feeling well, lucky you had sun to bask in.  Clouds/wind/rain here for many days any sun is just a peek a boo and then gone! This is supposed to last a few more days.

LOL @ your comment to gramwe!  I can't believe her energy either!!

On the coffee table tonight is Parmesan crusted chicken tenders (like the TV commercial, mayo and Parmesan on top) with steamed broccoli and cauliflower drenched in parsley butter.

    Hugs to all!

Scan uneventful. Laughing at the std questions. Wearing an underwire? Possibility pregnant? Do you want fries with that?

Dr couldn't see right ear drum due to wiggling and ear wax. She never has ear wax so maybe ear infection. Ear infections clear up quickly. Fever still hovering around 101 even after Tylenol. Will dose her again in middle of night with Tylenol and amoxicillin. Gave her ibuprofen before she went to sleep. Hoping to buy me a few hours of sleep.

I can tell I didn't get much sleep. No nap. She pooped and stuck her hand in it. Am feeling anxious and ate junk (Doritos and a bite of snickers). Haven't felt anxious in awhile. Don't like it.

I tried to eat a granola bar but it was dry and tasteless. Any suggestions for a portable protein snack?

Yes Granwe. What are you taking?

GrammaB/Wren. Send the rain our way. Keeps disapaiting before it gets to us.

Idesim. Hope you are feeling better a little bit each day. What did you read?

Ariom. Would love a fresh salad. And real tomatoes. Guess I have to wait until next year. Need to go write down my questions like how long will I be immune suppressed.

Ndgirl. My husband's family raised 10,000 turkeys as their cash crop every Christmas. I'm surprised he still likes to eat turkey. So he's in charge of the bird for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

My appt is 11:40. Last time it was 11:40. I wasn't seen until 1 pm. Pray hard no more chemo. I'm hoping for rads and maybe the month of October off so we can do Halloween.

Zills, I am praying, doing rain dances and crossing anything that can be crossed that there will be no more chemo for you... when do you learn about the scans? I hope the baby is better soon and I hope that you are getting some sleep.

I took a nap when I got home from work and now I am awake at 11 pm.. hopefully I can get back to sleep.

GrammaB, I looked at the Miracle Rice, I just may try a couple of these.. what would you suggest to start off with? I'm thinking the Fettucine one.. it's impossible to try to get Joe to try anything new so I have to be careful how I introduce it lol.  I share the same mother experience, which is a shame.

Zills, I can't recall if you have dietary issues, but pumpkin seeds, cottage cheese & fruit.. especially banana or blueberries.   Hard boiled eggs.  String cheese, greek yogurt or a nice shake with banana, Peanut butter & blueberries.. add a dash of cinnamon to it.   I can't think of anything else right now.

Gonna try to get back to sleep... nighty night!!!

Hi all, we have gale force winds and driving rain. I can't get out to plant my stuff.

Still wheezing. trying to decide if I will do a mega steroid dose for a few days.

I am so sorry the baby isn't well Zills, and you lost sleep again. I know what you mean about that awful anxious feeling, I hate it too. I am hoping and meditating that you won't need any more chemo.

I'd love to have you over for a fresh salad when my greens are ready!

ldesim, just 6 types of lettuce this time, but if I find more I will buy them.

I couldn't believe it but the seedlings came in a 10 punnet container with a handle so you could carry it like a basket, but they are all in bright screaming hot pink, gosh I hate pink these days. I keep getting BC newsletters in the mail, and I have a physical  reaction to the color of the envelope every time I see it.

I hope you are feeling much better now. You said you weren't well over the weekend, was it a virus?

gB Your food sounds delicious, and I am going to look for that new ingredient. Thanks for the link. I will try to source it here. I am sure some of Colin's vegan relatives will know of it.

I bought an air fryer yesterday online. I love fried foods but don't eat them too much. I love the idea of a benchtop appliance that will make just about anything with either no oil or just 1 teaspoon. I love chicken filet in cornflake and herb crumbs, and fish done the same way. I hope it will be something I will use and not something that will end up in the cupboard with all the other great ideas:)

gramwe, another great story! You never fail to entertain with your great turn of phrase!

How is the painting going? I hope that stain has gone, and you aren't having to contend with the "Claw".

Wren, did you get that curtain rod up? I hope the bathroom is about done and you're happy with it. I am loving my new bathroom. There's nothing like having everything fresh and new.

Colin mentioned how glad he is that we had the big eucalyptus tree taken out last year, I doubt it would have stood up to the winds we are experiencing now.

Bobo, sorry I got the date all up the wazoo, but at least I'll be ready for next week!

Pity your Brother couldn't have the children fro the day, so you and DLLP could have a bit of time after the MRI to have a meal and really relax for a bit. I can't remember you having the slightest bit of time since you've moved into the tiny house.

I am also wondering if your Brother has spoken to your Mother and has sworn her to not mention it to you, and her change for the better could be the result??? Maybe, maybe not!

Don't be concerned about not having time for the garden, there is plenty of time for that next season, when you are more settled in the tiny house.

ndgirl, I hope you got lots done outside, I am glad someone is getting good weather!

    Take care all..M x

Zills, I too have everything crossed that one can cross!!  Sending positive energy your way that you have had enough chemo!!  Hope the baby gets better quickly!

I take string cheese with me or little baggies of nuts (almonds, pecans, macadamias) for snacks when I am out.  Also small packets of jerky, beef or turkey (natural/organic).  Not protein, but the other snack I take when I am out and about is olives in a small plastic container (w/a toothpick to eat them with).  They are high fat and filling for my low carb/high fat diet.

ldesim, the thing to know about the Miracle Rice and other noodles is that they don't have the consistency of rice or wheat pasta.  They have a crunch to them more like an Oriental noodle.  I would just get one package the first time to make sure you like them OK.  They are easy to fix just follow the directions on the package.  When you open the package, it has a strong fishy smell but that rinses off quickly.  I guess it is part of the preservative process.  If you like Oriental food, you will probably like these.  People either like these noodles or hate them, no in between. The fettuccine is probably a good one to try.  I find them best used in Asian type recipes.

Sorry you share the mom experience.  I wonder sometimes if it was the way she was raised or maybe she just didn't like me?  Her parents were very strict and that was definitely the spare the rod and spoil the child generation!! My goal was to always be the total opposite as a mother than she was.  It worked for me, and my kids are great parents!!

    Hope you get some sleep!

Ariom, be sure to read what I wrote to ldesim, it is a love it or hate it product.  I am pretty sure Colin's vegan family would know of them.  Another brand I get is a shiratake noodle, basically same directions for using.  Also a kelp noodle that makes a killer sesame oil salad.  They all have a distinct crunch in the mouth.

Zills, I buy Kind Bars when they're on sale, but only the almost pure nut ones. I don't like the ones with fruit. They are mostly nuts, so mostly protein. I like string cheese for my desk at work, but not where it can get hot and limp.

I think I'm going to end up a vegan. I looked at chicken parts at the supermarket today and it turns my stomach to think about touching it. I still eat chicken in things like Lean Cuisine dinners. I don't eat any red meat. We have chicken or fish about 3 x week and the rest of the meals are vegetarian. It's a little difficult because I'm trying to keep the soy usage down.

Idesim, The bathroom walls are a sky blue. Fixtures and tile on walls are white. The new shower curtain (not up yet) is 3 shades of soft orange and the rug is the middle shade. Our Sunday paper features pictures of a house done by an architect. This Sunday it was the architect's own house. The living room had neutral walls and floor but a bright magenta sofa and an orange chair. The sofa had orange pillows on it. Very unusual, but attractive.

Zills, I carry a small Lil Oscar ice chest in my car to keep my snack and an extra bottle of water cold. I don't even know if they make them any more but any small cold sack would work to keep things like cheese and olives cold.

Another snack I carry is Justin Almond butter in a single serve packet, I think they have peanut butter too, but I can't eat much of that.

I've heard the Kind bars are good, I've looked at them and they do look good, but they have waaaay to many carbs for me.  If you can do nuts, they might work.

Hi gB! I'll find the product. I am used to love hate relationship with unusual foods. I stopped dairy and wheat 30 years ago. In those days it was hard to find any alternatives, so I would try anything I could find for variety. I have been able to reintroduce wheat but only tiny amounts of dairy.

I have been trying to think of high protein snacks for Zills too. I think the protein shakes might be good and portable because I don't think she can have any kind of nuts around her son. He is allergic. Most of the protein bars have nuts in them. Boiled eggs were mentioned, and cheese.

Wren, your bathroom sounds lovely, I love the pop of orange with the blue and white!

I love doing up houses and rooms. My fave website is Houzz, If I am ever stuck for an idea for the house I just put what I want in the search bar, and there are thousands of pics of ideas. I used it quite a bit when doing this house last year.

    I hope everyone is sleeping soundly...catch you later..m x

Please refer back to the a$$ on the TV incident, that was the motivation for movement. Unfortunately at this mornings weigh in, I had gained weight. Now I have to replace the bathroom window, and explain to my neighbors why my scales are now residing in their yard. F-femara is the only explanation I have for the gain, and it is so frustrating. I know that weight will not disappear overnight that it is a process but yet it is still so disheartening to see higher numbers instead of lower ones.

Wren, love the color combinations in your new bath. Blue and orange remind me of sunrises or sunsets. I am limited on color selections, OG is very colorblind so I have to keep things in the ranges he can actually see. I love the colors of fall, but he sees none of them.

Gb, you are always so prepared. Keeping your snacks with you in the car is so impressive, and essential when you are diabetic. I'm wondering if following your way of eating would be helpful in my battle with the bulges.

Zills, have everything crossed for No More Chemo for you!!!!!! You said that scans were uneventful, did that mean that they saw nothing on the scan or that nothing eventful happened at the appointment? Hope the baby is better today and that you had an uneventful night.

Bobo, your mom is baffling. I wouldn't know how to deal with her. Getting everything ready for your appointment on Sunday, B bonnet is at the ready, bracelets are in place, beer is chilling. How is the Princess and her new hairdo?

M, pink is now my least favorite color too. I'm guessing that when I go to the park this morning the water in the fountains will be pink, they usually change them on Oct 1st and they stay that way until the end of the month. They attempted to make them Aqua for ovarian cancer awareness last month but the color wouldn't hold. My question was isn't water aqua on its own?

Almost time to meet the DIL. Yesterday I walked for 1:45, don't know how far but I do know my legs were burning. Today I'm going to try to figure out the distance. Hugs

Finally!  We get Wren's bathroom color!  Now, granwe, what is your color?  I second Idesim -- I am on a need to know basis.  We are ramping up to paint over here.

Birdie, I feel the same way about chickens.  If you become vegetarian we will swap recipes!  My DLLP is not a vegetarian, and she makes meat for our children... I am conflicted about that.

Z, can't wait for the news of your scan.  How is the baby?  Praying hard for today.  Left you a silly phone message to cheer you up.  Did you get it?  While I was singing I was walking through campus on the way to class.  People were staring!  But F being embarrassed about that.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with singing.

For protein I am going to vote in the protein shake camp.  Yogurt protein powder bananas vanilla and a little milk.  Sometimes I add other fruit to it, sometimes I just like it very plain.  I think my shake has something like 30 grams of protein.  Sometimes I have one before bed.  I also add chia and flax to mine; I think that increases protein somewhat.

Laughing that our Granwe may be on crack.  Finally, an explanation.  I for one am somewhat glad about the shared mother situation.  I'm not glad it happened to any of us.  It's funny.  Due to the way DS was adopted -- we got him at 19 months, he had been injured, was in hospital for a year -- we have to parent him differently.  After lots of consults, etc., we discovered we have to parent him with certain boundaries.  If you smother him with love and kisses, he falls apart.  So you have to keep your distance in some ways, praise him judiciously, provide reinforcement in other ways.  He's extrinsically motivated, we're trying to have him develop some intrinsic motivation.  But it's not really working.  Anyway, this measured way of parenting makes me feel bad.  Just in the way you were saying, gB.  I want to parent the opposite of my mother.  But after years and years, we know this is right..   I get to do more what I want with our princess.  I am not sure I'm making myself clear here.  The way in which we need to parent DS, which is good for him, makes me feel badly because I worry I'm being more like my own mother.  But whenever I transgress, and do something... effusive... there are always repercussions.

Well, I'm going to be late for work.  Talk later!  XXXXX  A I am jealous of your lettuce too.

You're just out the door Bobo, and i am preparing for bed!

I understand what you are saying, and why you have to do it. You're a great parent doing what's best for your children and their individual needs. Have a good day!

gramwe, I am so sorry you had to frizbee tha scales out the window. I have been researching the best way to drop some pounds too. I managed lose quite a lot of weight while I was waiting for the results and the surgery. Unfortunately it began to creep back on once I was home. It seems there is just no getting away from the walking and the high protein low carbs for consistent loss.

I admire gB in her ability to live the diet she eats, but I don't think I could handle such a dramatic change, or the amount of fats you have to eat. I would die from the reflux, but I have no doubt that it works.

gramwe, I had to laugh at your comment about the colored water, I can't imagine lurid pink fountains, but yeah, water is aqua!

I am looking forward to meeting you in the bag on Sunday, maybe this time I'll do Bruschetta, and forget the TimTams, sorry ldesim but it's better for us, well maybe one pack of TimTams, it may be an extended visit!

You take it easy gramwe, enjoy your time with your daughter!

Zills, I hope you had a better night and the baby is on the mend. All things crossed for good news for you.

    Have a wonderful day everyone...catch you later ....M x

Baby better but not 100%. Still has a fever, almost 101. Trying to arrange care for her.

I am acidic and anxious. Cleaning and doing laundry while I wait to hear from my sister and leaving for my appt. Trying to get everything ready, just in case.

Protein shake sounds ok if not sweet. Cheese is my go to already but it's still too hot to carry. Not sure about nuts or hard boiled eggs. Yes boy has allergy so it would have to be single serving to leave in my purse. Afraid olives would be salty. I know I have lots of limitations but thanks for the suggestions.

    Will keep you posted.

And yes I'm not a pink fan anymore.

Oh my dear F-femara. I think it almost got me arrested this morning and embarrassed my poor DIL too. We arrived at the fountain just as they were pouring in the pink dye. We stopped our walk to watch the process. One of the workers commented, loud enough for me and my flat chest to hear, that because of the pink awareness that BC wasn't such a big deal any more. I went into an anti pink sermon! I was right at the point of pulling up my top to show this person just how much of a no big deal BC had become when my mortified DIL put the brakes on me. By this time I had drawn a few stares from other park walkers. Oh well guess they know where I stand on their pretty pink waters..Hugs

Oooh, excellent pink update!  Laughing about the scales.  I too dread the pink.  To the point of my heart stopping a little when I realize it is October.  You know, there is an excellent thread here called Pinktober Revolution, with a lot of really p1ssed-off sisters ranting and raving about all things Pinkwash.  It is hilarious and furious.  I am truly dreading this Pinktober.

Z, thinking of you this very minute.  Fingers and toes crossed.  M, loved your description of the air fryer!  You could do a commercial!  I love it when you 'get onto' a new product.  Can't wait to hear how things turn out in there.  Are we going to have to have the OG make you an 'air-fryer-moire'?

Noon and just got my blood drawn. Got a free pink spatula for bc awareness. Baby will like it to stir magnets in her pans. See Bobo. Lots of noise.

Granwe. Good for you educating them. You know you can't really get in trouble for flashing your scars. Precedence has been set in other communities for going topless but you would have given them a good fight.

Way to go Gramwe!! love the scale story and pink water!! Why do people think bc is no big deal anymore? Glad you enlightened them in your own special way! my scale is going to leave too, but at this time of year in ND, better not break a window! all my life I never had any extra pounds, but BAM menopause middleage hits and I do mean MIDDLE, cause that is where I am thick, I am not obese and still an average size but why does all the extra pounds have to go just to middle??

Zills, good luck today, a pink spatula?? am I the only one that wishes they wouldnt give that stuff away and spend all the $$ of finding a cure for God's sake...

I really resent them ruining pink. It's probably my best color to have near my face and I used to love it.

A little pi$$ed at DH this morning. I've discovered a lot of drips done while he put the second coat of paint. I asked to do the paint for this very reason in the first place. He did it in secret with the door closed while I thought he was putting in the new light. The wall tile is slick and it comes off pretty easily, but the floor and tub are not slick and it's a pain.
