hello ladies...just sitting at my final AC treatment (yeah) and decided to check in and thank you all for asking about me. Each one has zapped my energy more and more but overall I am not complaining. Onco dr. Could not even feel any of my masses today so I am happy and will take the SE so long as the chemo is killing those nasty cancer cells. I hope to try and come to next meet up. Hope to see you Jeni, Cindy, faith and vicki and meet some new ladies. Cand

I wanted to share with all of you that today is my 14th wedding anniversary. We've had our struggles- a separation, Finacial strain, child with a heart defect, cancer... But we are still kicking- just not as high as we used to!! LOL
Below is what I put on my blog. Have a wonderful day.
Happy Anniversary to the Love of my life!! I love you more today than yesterday and will love you more tomorrow than today!! Thank you for always sticking by me through thick and thin (no pun intended :0). Your perserverence through this past year is awe inspiring. At times you have had to be mom and dad. Not to mention care giver, chef, house keeper , and ultimate insurance fighter. I am amazed by you and honored to be your wife.

Cindy, how are hubby and Hunter? I guess all of your tests were boring...?
I read Tam's SE's and indeed the memory loss is one of them...so, I'm really not senile after all!

Holli- Congrats on the Anniversary! Love the photos!
Terri- I hate to say it but I can't wait to be a grandma. So much fun you get to have with them. I have plenty of time until it happens to me.
Cindy- I do hope you find time to spend time with the grand babies. I am sure you hubby would understand. Praying for him. Glad the dog is doing well.
For everyone else I hope you are doing well !!
As for me I am doing pretty good. I am starting back to work tomorrow. Everyone wonders why I wasn't going to wait until the beginning of the year but doing it this way works me up to working full time again. I did find out I will be getting radiation after all. Which it good want to kill all these cancer bugs. I find out my schedule of radiation after the 31st. I will be making it to the meet up. The only request I have is PLEASE somewhere that sells something to eat other than just fish as I am not a fish eater. LOL. Can't wait to meet all you fantastic women!

Holli - congrats on ur anniversary - sounds like you found a keeper. Hope I get to meet you. Terri - yeah such great news - keep it up. And all the holiday activities sound like such fun.
I ended up in the hospital yesterday after 21/2 days at home. Neutrophil count at critical level -220 - so no wonder I felt like crap. Fever finally broke last nite and feeling better with all the antibiotics they are pumping in me. Shoul HO home tomorrow - 3 days before my first Taxol on the 23rd. I sure hope it is easier than AC - cuz I couldn't take much more of this one. Sending hugs to everyone - candy

Cindy, enjoy your time with family. I hope hubbys' appts go well. What a crummy time to be out of commission. Hunter sounds like he's going to be a real Sweetheart.
Candy, good to hear from you. Wow, sorry you are having problems. Recover soon! I can't tell you anything about Taxol. I hope you do well on it. Maybe Jen' can help...
Kelsey, being a Grandma is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I have wanted to be a Grandma for as long as I can remember. I hope you get to experience it also! I hope work is treating you well and not wearing you out.
I am so looking forward to meeting your new faces soon!
On a side note, if any of you local ladies know anyone who has O neg blood type, please ask them to consider donating soon. A dear friend of mines' daughter has recently been DX'd with MDS- a blood cancer. She beat Leukemia 16 yrs ago. She will need tranfusions 2 or 3 times/wk until they can find a suitable bone marrow donor. Her Mom is the one who took me to chemo TX's. I have O neg, but can't donate, obviously... Her name is Lisa Sabra. If you need more info, PM me. O neg is one of the more rare types and they are always low on supply.
Have an awesome week-end, ladies!
((Hugs all around))!
