Lisa - are your frangipani blooming already? I just got mine back in the ground 3 weeks ago after our last freeze. Leaves coming out but no blossoms yet.

Nancy, so sorry about your fall. It’s so scary. I tripped over one of the dogs today and broke my fall by slamming my forehead on the edge of the door molding. Got a pretty deep gash that I might have been tempted to go to ER with....but no way. DH & I kept pressure on it, got the bleeding stopped, put neosporin on it then bandaged it...no gauze so had to use the coveted toilet paper. I think I’ll be okay. I hope you are better soon. Thanks to everyone for all the great photos!!

Nancy, A friend of my fell out of bed (while awake) and landed on a piece of exercise equipment. Her ribs still hurt a month later. She had to force herself to breathe deeply. I hope your tests come out OK and it's not another problem. Good to know your doc is taking it seriously.

Yoga, I am sorry you took a bad fall too. I hope you don't need stitches. I asked my doctor where the safest location to go for this scan was. The place I would have normally gone to I think he said is set up for people who may have been infected. The person checking me handed me a clipboard to fill out questions. This person had a really bad cough. YIKES She had a mask on and at that moment I didn't. I forgot mine at home but she gave me one. I am just now thinking this all through. She handled the mask she gave me. This kind of thing can make us all a bit crazy!!!! I have a cat who has made me crash into walls before so I know what you mean. She thinks she is playing when she darts in front of me. Anyway hopefully both of us will recover quickly. I didn't get results in MyChart like I was hoping. Only blood work results. So the wait continues. I already have a brain tumor and hopefully nothing will change it's size.

Wren, sorry to hear about your friend. I actually didn't fall out of bed which is maybe what it sounded like. I was standing reaching over to turn my light on my nightstand and kept moving forward. This has been an issue for a while. I did dizziness therapy last March and was still doing some of the exercises but they can't prevent everything. Thanks. This is a fairly new doctor so I really didn't know what he was going to say. It is always better to be safe than sorry. So we'll see.

Nancy and Yoga, I'm sorry you both had falls. I hope you both recover well.

    Lisa, lovely flower pic.

Nancy, I hope your test results are good and you have an easier time. You have been through a lot! In some ways my move went okay and the house is looking pretty but we are finding it hard to find things. The virus situation has made the move much harder than usual. Also, when I walked around my bedroom the first night I got itchy feet, even though I know the new carpet isn't made of wool, which I'm allergic to. I was trying to get away from things I'm allergic to, so I'm really struggling with it and wondering what to do. Thanks for hoping it's going well. Are people here interested to see photos of my new house? People usually post nature photos here.

Thanks, JO-5, I will try to find some photos to post. Can you tell me the best way to shampoo carpet without a special machine, please?

I would check with a place that sells carpets or the manufacturer if you know who it is. It could also be that the carpet was recently cleaned and you're reacting to the residue of cleaning material.

We would love to see photos of your house. Not finding things is the usual result of moving, or at least of my moving. It's also one of the most stressful events in life. At least as stressful as having a baby in my experience.

Thanks, Wren. We got the carpet put in in December and it hasn't been cleaned apart from us vacuuming it. We know who the manufacturer is, so I will try to contact them after Easter.

Thanks for understanding about moving house being so difficult. We like most of the changes we've made but the house is significantly smaller and that's making it much harder to decide where to put things. I was really hoping to get away from carpet that I'm allergic to, so I'm really disappointed about that. I will upload my recent photos some time soon.

I saw my doctor today and my CT of the brain showed no injury so that was the good news. The not so good news is a couple of my sinuses are blocked after all of these weeks of antibiotics and nose sprays etc. I am happy but would like to feel 100% soon.

Yoga, I hope you are feeling better and don't need stitches.

Cathy, I am glad you are moved in. I agree with Wren about how stressful that is. Even the thought of moving makes me feel overwhelmed. I sure hope you can figure out something with your carpet. That is a shame but hopefully it will be an easy fix and the sooner the better.

Remember one box at a time!!!!

Bandwoman, have you been tested for allergies? I've had bad sinuses for as long as I can remember. Developed a chronic cough and discovered I had acute, chronic sinusitis. Discovered I had three indoor and three outdoor allergies. Did the shots and things improved tremendously. Just throwing this out there if you haven’t been tested.

Nancy, glad to hear about no brain injury but sorry to hear about all the sinus issues. Hopefully you will get some relief from that soon.

Aussie, what a pain with the carpet issues. Sounds like you are getting good advice here.

My injury looks considerably better than yesterday and DH and I agree i should just keep it clean. No sx of concussion, so staying away from ER.

Life can certainly deal a lousy hand!!

I moved 10 times after college and the first 10 years we were married including one to Spain Finally when we moved here I said that was it. And so far it's been 44 years. I also moved 10 times before I was 18.

Kath, I did allergy shots for 38 yrs through Dec. of 2019. My allergy doctor retired and my new allergy doctor retested me and I reacted to NOTHING. She did a blood test just to be sure and again NOTHING. I was doing fine with no shots until the end of February. Now limping along with these clogged sinuses. I had to have sinus surgery in the 90's so I am really hoping I don't have to do that again. I have non allergic rhinitis which I think the symptoms may be similar to allergies but the treatments are different. Thanks for your post. I am glad you had good results from your shots. I was retested two years ago and reacted to everything. My new doctor is wondering if the cancer drug I was on for five years came into play with the no more allergies. It would be nice to think that might be the case since I had such a difficult time on the AI while taking it. I am off of it as of July 2019.

    Thanks again.

    Nancy

Yoga, glad your injury is better. I would definitely not want to go to any ER during this time. I don't blame you. Hopefully keeping it clean will allow good healing.

Lisa, all of those moves gives me more of a headache than I already have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa, I LOVE rabbits. I used to have several for pets over a lifetime. I don't like them eating my flowers though!!

Here are some more happy flowers. I experimented with another specialty lens today.

I love blue also. Love the kitchen. Have been thinking about doing it in blue and white. It is much tinier so there wouldn't be a lot of blue showing, I'm afraid. Our bathroom is blue with white cabinets and fixtures - and an orange shower curtain and towels.
