Lisa, a beautiful scene on Earth Day.
You should title the bird photo " I'm looking at YOU". Beautiful photo.

Beautiful shot of you cat.

Thanks Cowgirl. Looks like you have horses. That is something I have always wanted to do is take horse back riding lessons. Even though I live in the suburbs of Chicago there are horses not too far from me that offer riding lessons. One of these days.........

Nancy, what a gorgeous cat! I'm glad you have a companion through the lockdown. I'm sorry it's been extended to May 30. Take care.

Thanks Cathy. She is sitting at the bottom of my lazy boy as I type with my laptop. I have had several people tell me I should write a book on her antics especially when she was a kitten. I sometimes call her my special needs cat. She can be a handful but I laugh and say what she lacks in good behavior she makes up for in her good looks .LOL She is in her teenage years. She is 13 with her birthday last month.

Lisa, that photo is gorgeous.
Cowgirl, I hope it will happen sometime. When ever I get to resume my low back therapy I will run it by her to see what her opinion is.
Here is what has been happening in my back patio that I didn't realize for a while. This Mama bird is persistent. She tried for 8 or more days to build a nest over my front porch light which would be a fire hazard. I kept tearing the nest down and felt horrible doing it. Then she decided she would try my back porch light which I don't use as I have lights installed in my patio now. So here is Mama and her eggs. This is my first cell phone pic (the eggs) I have ever posted as I couldn't get my camera in position to get this shot.

Nancy, great photos! Those eggs are so green!

Thanks Lisa. This nest is right by my patio door so every time I even open or close the door or the drapes Mama bird flies. I wonder if she has seen my cat yet?
Thanks Cathy. The robin's eggs are baby blue. I know monitors can have different color settings. I calibrate my monitors with this device but have not calibrated it in quite some time. Is anyone else seeing green or blue? In all of my spare time I suppose I better calibrate it again since our shelter in order has extended through May.

The top 2 eggs look blue. The bottom one has a greenish tint.

They look almost turquoise. Beautiful eggs.

Thank you all for your color input on the robin's eggs. My neighbor took a pic of them a day or 2 before I did when I showed her the nest. At that time I didn't realize there were eggs in the nest as it is high up. There were only two eggs when she took the pic so I am wondering if the age of the eggs makes the color different. I hope Mama bird doesn't end up leaving the nest. I live on a corner with quite a bit of foot traffic going by with dogs etc. She is very nervous and when I even peek at her through my patio door she can see me before I see her and she immediately flies. Today I got home from the doctor's visit and peeked and she was not on the nest. I hope that was only because she was finding food for herself.

Nancy, how did your doctor's visit go? Well, I hope.

Hi Cathy,
I came home a little bit overwhelmed as I have a lot of issues that need xrays, more blood work and possibly more PT. I have to repeat some bloodwork because of some issues which hopefully is only a symptom of dehydration only. I am really sad tonight. The Mama bird has not been on the nest with her eggs every time I looked today. I am afraid she has maybe abandoned the nest for whatever reason. Tomorrow I will get a step stool and see if there are still eggs in there. A predator could have taken the eggs or someone messing with the nest. I was gone for a period of time this afternoon. So I am sad especially all the trouble this poor bird went through trying to build a nest near my house.
How are you doing settling into your new house? I am in my first house now and I remember how excited I was for the first several years to have my own house. I have now been in this house for 29 yrs come June. I can't believe it has been that long. I have been decluttering and organizing. Oh my. You won't have to do that in a new house as you probably already did that in the move. Enjoy it while it lasts!!!! Remember stuff is NOT your friend!!!!!
Have a nice weekend.

Nancy, I'm sorry you feel overwhelmed about your health issues. I pray the tests show that nothing serious is wrong and it's only dehydration. I hope the bird comes back and there are still eggs. I understand you feeling sad though.
We finally finished emptying and cleaning the old rental house and handed back the keys to the real estate agent on Friday. Now we can focus more on the new house. We cleaned a lot of things and gave away some things in the move but since the new house is smaller, we can't fit everything in and we need to do a lot more sorting. We have been busy for months with looking for a house and getting it renovated and I hope we finally have a chance to focus on getting more organised. The house is more or less functional but there are some things we can't find and the garage needs a lot of sorting. It's amazing you've been in your house for 29 years. I've never stayed anywhere that long.

Cathy, you will eventually get settled in. One box at a time as I told a good friend who also just moved. I just found out tonight that a resident in my Mom's supportive living facility was taken to the hospital tonight with Covid 19. I am not sure what my sister and I are going to do yet.
The robin's eggs are gone. I found a broken shell on my patio later this afternoon and the Mama bird had not been on the nest all day yesterday or today that I could see. So I wish I knew what happened. I was sad and then mad thinking it might have been someone messing with the nest when they new I was gone yesterday.
So it has been a difficult day even before hearing about my Mom's facility.
Nancy
