Cute little bird. I have probably asked before in the past but do you know what kind it is?

I bought some flowers the last couple of days and that is thing that feels most normal in this completely foreign time we are in now. We are one of the last states still in shelter at home orders. They did open up garden centers in May so that is how I could buy some flowers.

My orchid I splurged on back in March now has about 14 blooms on it. Looks like constant rain for many days so that means indoor pictures. I will have to send some.

I was pretty sure I heard a hummingbird in my yard yesterday. I usually am not at home for most of May and visiting my Mom but that isn't happening yet. I usually don't put up my hummer feeder till the end of May so I guess it is time.

I did see an ENT last Friday and am on a nasal rinse which I think is helping finally.

    Have a great weekend.

Nancy, I hope you enjoy the flowers and the nasal rinse helps. I know the shelter at home order must be frustrating.

Thanks Lisa. I think we have those here but I don't see them.

Cathy, yes, it is frustrating because many of my photo opportunities like going to the butterfly houses are closed for now. Of course if it means saving lives that is the most important thing.

Here are a couple of migrating warblers I got while Bluebell hunting.

This first one is a male Blackburnian Warbler.

This one is a Black throated green warbler, I think.

Here is another bluebells photo. I loved the reflection in the water. I could not for the life of me figure out how to get to the other side of the water which was massive with bluebells.

    Thanks Cathy.

Very pretty bush Lisa. Interesting blooms. I need to take a pic of my purple/blue Columbine that has come up next to my patio for several years as a complete surprise.

Lisa, I think there was a not so large tree that had fallen across the water but I have trouble balancing period so you can just imagine me trying to balance beam myself across the water on a fallen tree!!! Maybe when I was too young and foolish to know better but certainly not now!

Do you know the name of that bush? It's awesome and I've never seen one like it.

I wouldn't be crossing on a log either. My art teacher has a video on her website of a backpacking trip. Everyone is standing looking at the log. She gets 1/2 way across, loses her balance and falls in. Obviously she's a good sport.

Lisa, I would like to think so.

Wren, that would be ME falling in. When I first got to this place I was stooping down to take a close up shot of a wildflower and lost my balance and fell backwards in the mud. That was my big adventure for the day!!

Good photo, Lisa. The back bird has rather a knobbly face, doesn't he.

Lisa, that is a beautiful presentation of your Lilies of the Nile.

Interesting birds. One looks like a swan hybrid of sorts. I've never seen anything like that before.

Nancy, I think they are geese

Ok, I had to look up the birds as they are so unusual looking. They appear to be Chinese geese. The basal knob is more prominent on the male.
