I am in your pocket, Lucy. It will be fine. Do you have ice packs, peri bottle, wet wipes on hand? Do you have your recovery area set up with remote, books, and other things to entertain you? Wyatt's doing better but I see problems ahead with him sleeping so much from the meds. Yesterday he turned bright blue while trying to cough up the thick secretions. I had my DD on the phone with 911 just in case but he pulled out of it.

    Thinking of you all!

For those who like meditation or are curious about trying it. Great app has first 10 days free. Headspace is the name of the app. 10 minutes a day teaches the basics! I need to relearn consistency...

Lucy - in your pocket. Happy you found hystersisters to be helpful. Back in '99 they had a chat room. Was disappointed when they discontinued it. Having real time chats was a great way to calm nerves.

Molly- my prayers continue for your precious family.

Pennys- local is better, but still disconcerting. 🤗Hugs 🤗

Poppy- thank you for letting us know how Beppy is doing.

Ducky- I love that picture of the 3 amigas!

I went to one of those Escape Room places last night. It was so much fun. Live action puzzle solving! We used Groupon, full admission prices are crazy.

ladies thanks so much for your prayers and well wishes..I will be seeing my MO this afternoon and he will map out my plan. Will will be doing chemo for 3-6 months, every two weeks. The good news is...it is small, no lymph node and there is no metastases. The surgeon says my prognosis is good because of this. If he sees shrinkage he will do the surgery right away. It is near the blood vessels.

I told him I wanted him to be upfront with me and he said he was being completely honest. But out of all this, it was the gallbladder. They just happened to find this incidentally while doing an ERCP and a CAT scan early in the morning. So my gallbladder is on hold until we take care of this. For now I'm on oxycodone for the gallbladder pain.

He also mentioned that this is like a miracle because most patients are at the end of life, so I'm happy this was caught early.

Shorfi, he fact that it’s small (stage IA) and basically an “incidentaloma” (found by accident while looking for something else in another organ) is extremely encouraging. Most patients don’t find out until they become symptomatic. Good idea getting the jump on it right away. We’re in your pocket for your chemo (having had TN, you know the ropes) and surgery. Probably wouldn’t be a radical surgery, either.

Lucy, stretch that pocket a bit so I can jump in too. Beppy, prayers for a smooth and imminent awakening.

    Hi Crazies -

I got some test results. They do not explain why I am having shortness of breath. They do show a few other odd things, one of which is concerning. A bit. There are two unexplained little spots on my vertebrae. I am going for a pet scan a week from tomorrow. The medical oncologist thinks it is unlikely that they are significant. But they might be.

Why they want to scan my cat I don't understand. Winking haha

I'm going to try taking anastrozole made by a different manufacturer to see if that will solve the breathing problem.

On a happier note, I got to go to a retreat for breast cancer patients and had an absolute blast. I am feeling much better because of it. & in about three weeks there is a one day conference I hope to attend. They're going to discuss reducing risk of lymphedema and also sexual health & menopause. (Send me a message if you want information on this.)

I want everyone to know that I read all the posts & think of you all often. I don't manage to post much by way of response, especially, like now, when I have been away from the internet and am playing catchup. I'm so impressed the way some people can write a kind word to everyone. I can't remember what I read at the top of the page, let alone what was on a previous page! I can't blame this on treatment for cancer or even on aging. At my house we call it "Kelly Bundy Brain."

    Hugs to all !
