Yeah, low oncotype - this lump is different and in the other breast. I have a "my favorite bible verse" sketch book I do, exercise bike - we have had rain non stop here for the last week - It is quite heavy even to walk in.. So kinda cooped up in the house on top of our mountain. I am learning Kinyarwanda so I can write to my sponsored children in Rwanda - and I send pictures of my book to them.

GmaFoley, That is beautiful! Awesome. I actually tried too look it up and translate it (Kinyarwanda) But it didn't work. But I looked up the Psalm. When I was 13 years old, My Parents adopted a child in Egypt. They wrote all the time, she sent money for his schooling. She sent a camera, clothes we sent letter asking what they needed all the time. Mostly he just wanted to write but we figured out what was needed.. She went to visit him and his family. It helped the WHOLE town. It was one of the most beautiful things. His last letter was a thank you and he didn't want/need her to send anything  except letters! He and his family were doing wonderfully and he was going to college!!

And, even if it's hard rain? "Up in out house on top of a mountain." Yea girl.. Keep up on the bike and the beautiful letters ..

    Very cool chickee you are!

    Music, don't forget some music!!

    Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the Lord.( I cheated : ] )

I have a Kinyarwanda bible translation in my You Version - so I look it up in English and then switch to Kinyarwanda.

Well , I got my PET scan results today. Boob looks good except for skin thickening, which MO is sure is from radiation. She did a pretty thorough physical exam and comparison, and I have my one year mammogram and BS appointment next month.

On the other hand - or body part - the area where I had the nephrectomy lit up and twinkled a bit, so I get to look forward to a biopsy there. Back to the waiting room. Crap.

The tech told me that the doctor said there was nothing scary.. The mammogram didn't show anything but wanted ultrasound. Got that an hour after mammogram - still waiting for the report. It is probably more scar tissue from reconstruction, is my guess.

Lucy55, I don't have an appointment yet; they're supposed to call me to set it up. Maybe I can get a pincushion tattoo there first!

Hello crazies! eggroll and Gma, so good to see you post. Sorry for the reasons you are posting! Alice, do you have Lynch syndrome or some other genetic mutation? That is a whole lot of cancer you have been dealt! You are one tough cookie. Lucy, nice rock river. Dorene, you are quite talented! Octo, glad you like your new MO. Iris, glad you are doing well. I think about you often. Does anyone hear from PoppyK? I ran across the picture from our meet up in Riverside with PoppyK, our lovely Beppy and Octo. Hello to any crazies that are reading and not posting.

I have my CT with contrast this Friday evening. Since my PCP ordered it I don't know who is going to get the results to me. We are looking to see why I have a chronic cough and see if the radiation fibrosis that was spotted previously is what is causing my woes. Hopefully nothing more nefarious than that but you all know my brain keeps going back to mets. I am doing okay otherwise. I miss my boy terribly. The monthly support meeting helps. I am slowly getting his room cleaned out to turn it into a TV/reading and honoring Wyatt room.

    Love you all!!

molly-So glad you are benefiting from your support groups. Cleaning out Wyatt's room must be anguish and joy for you. The joy of course remembering all the wonderful things he brought into your life and the anguish, well you are living with the anguish. Stay strong. Try not to let your mind wander into dangerous areas with the CT scan.

Ultrasound and mammo report is benign.. Thanks for all your support. I still have a lump I feel but couldn't see anything on the scans.

Hello all, I'm gonna just jump in here because it looks like a great group to follow. I'm not waiting on any tests at the moment, but waiting to start radiation. I meet with the radxonc on Friday and hopefully this time I'll get a date. Tired of this hurry up and wait game. Molly50 I also have a chronic dry cough that started about the same time I found out I had BC. My nodes were clear but I can't figure out where the cough is coming from. I haven't started radiation yet so that's ruled out for me. Let me know what you find out on yours please. Thanks everyone for letting me jump in here. ((hugs)) to you all.

60 ..Welcome to the Land of the Crazies ..pull up a chair ..we are always here for each other ...sorry to hear you have the cough ..we always worry over EVERYTHING now 😟

Molly ..in your pocket for your CT on Friday ..Clearing Wyatt's room would be very emotional , but you are turning it into a Happy Room to remember him ..glad the support group is helping you .

Iris ..how are things going ? Been to the beach again ?

GMA ..yay for benign results !

Octo ..are you settled in ?

Hi to Jo and Alice , eggroll and Dorene !

My little saga is 2 weeks ago I lent over , into the recycling bin ( as one does 🙄 ) to retrieve the plastic bad I accidentally dropped in , felt a sharp pain in my rib cage ....Dr Google says with the reaching and twisting it's a muscle pain , and takes a few weeks to heal...BUT my mind keeps going to a dark place ..and I don't want to go to the doctor and start a million tests ..so I'll wait a little longer ...

    Hugs to all

GMA Foley, good report!! Seems like we always tend to think the worst, don't we?

    60notpretty, Welcome!

My update, going to PT is helping my hip pain (which has been diagnosed as bursitis and arthritis, not the mets I worried about). Hoping to get back to being able to climb stairs and hills without pain again.

    In your pocket, Mommy!

Welcome 60, do pull up a chair...

Molly, I remember that pic too: the one where we held smiley faces over our real faces? Seems like a lifetime ago...

Lucy, I'd think it is clearly a pull of some type if it happened right when you bent over, but keep us posted.

As for me, move is postponed until April 20th, but will happen then whether we are ready or not. Can't wait!

octo-another delay. The good news is the house will be perfect when it's time to move.

    Mommy-good luck

    Molly-you are in my thoughts

    60- welcome.

Lucy- as we age, we can sneeze and crack a rib or laugh hard and pull a muscle. LOL

    Hey everyone,

I'm sending good vibes, and I really mean sending! Around 7:00p.m. Connecticut time, I sit and think of everyone and hopes that your thoughts of the people you love will be comforting, that waiting can be tolerated and not consume. Something makes you smile or laugh no matter how tough life gets.

Thank you guys, really for being a great bunch a people. In the short time I have been on here, you have been sooo supportive.. The things you say and care about helped me so much more than you know! Very Special.

If there is ever a get together of groups of you all? Man it seems like we are from all over the world... :]

    Peace,

    Dorene

Twelvestrong60, check in the forum " Member matchup and local support groups" to see if there are any get togethers near you. I found one near me that way--we gather a bit irregularly but about once a quarter just to chat and, of course, eat!

Thanks for the thoughts and good vibes.
