Snagged this today at Trader Joe's--it's a cat advent calendar! They've got stinky dog ones too, plus ones for people. Made me smile.

That calendar is pawsome, and so is Wally!
Mommy, I am sorry about your friend. Our animal friends know when we need comfort, that is for sure. Hugs.

Edj3 that is great! I've never seen one of those. Wally is going to thoroughly enjoy (and so will you I bet)
Mommyof2 so sorry to hear of your friend's passing. Glad you have the comfort of your four footeds to help you.

Petsitting, Cava. Her 'parents' are in Italy for 3 weeks and they have never been away for so long. It's taken quite a bit for her to feel comfortable but she is now relaxed. It makes me feel so good as it is hard for me when they are afraid.

Love her crossed paws. My foster cat does that.

She is beautiful. I really miss my two cats. One was over 20 years old when he died the other one was 19.

It's always hard to lose a family member. Sounds like you have good memories.

still trying to make friends with these 5 week old babies. Nice and 70 today, tomorrow falling to 17 degrees and freezing rain. Thankful for a good momma. Held a few, and been talking to them, so they won't be feral like momma, a couple of them hiss, and it is so tiny, there is no sound. One has come into the catio, my husband has gone and bought chicken wire to run around the bottom, so my inside cats that look at them like perhaps they are a snack cannot hurt them. There are 5. Making sure they have full bellies for cold temperatures.

Such darling kitties. Bless you.

They are super cute! We're going to get that free falling temps and snow early tomorrow morning--hope it doesn't get to you!
Edited to add, finally looked up Webb City, yeah you're directly south of me (Leawood) so I'm sure we'll be enjoying tomorrow's weather at about the same time

They are all so adorable. Thank God there are such wonderful people like you.

Handle them all you can. The older they get, the harder it is to get them to like humans.

Oh! They are all so stinkin' cute!!

I love that Spookie!!!
Thank you for loving kittens. My husband, who gets off work earlier than me, says they are all over the place now. I hope to spend all day Saturday outside with them, my number #1 goal is for them to have loving homes. It's hard when you work. Ejd3, if you ever come to Joplin, let me know, maybe we can get a coffee or something. I have two tornado kittens from different places that are BFFs.
After the Joplin tornado, I worked with a retired teacher, who found this kitty (look closely at kitty's photo on their end table, name is Tiger. There was so much loss and devastation after the tornado, Mary Sue and her husband just cried when their kitty came home, and we all cried with them. It was one of the best things I have ever been a part of. In helping someone else, you really help yourself. I am so thankful for all the friends I have made on breastcancer.org, you all have helped me during the hardest time in my life. Hugs to you. Lisa
