Yes the tiger is pretty real if you see the painting in person, I have it in my computer room and it looks at me like I am his meal hahaha... Took me a year to paint that. I am working on a painting called "after the bath" originally painted in 1875 by Bouguereau you can google it. Once done I will post it, thanks for viewing, it is a very soothing hobby it occupies my head so I don't go dark places...

fifthyear, Great painting. I love how the background echoes the birds but muted so it doesn't interfere.

I've been trying my hand at polymer clay after seeing some beautiful swirled beads on Pinterest. Not too bad for a newbie. :)

And not easy to make. I tried to make something that swirled like that and found I needed hand strengthening exercises to do it.

I found this really good how-to site. The hardest thing I need to do is be patient and go slowly. My swirls are nowhere near as even as hers, but they are getting better.

I think uneven swirls look creative so I wouldn't worry to much about getting them even.

CDR I'm so happy that you're painting again too. It's a wonderful world in my head when I'm holding a brush. I had quit for 5 yrs and am just now picking it it up again. Best therapy I know.

Your painting is very good. Congrats. Hugs
