Micmel, I always have this fear of my boys (Fritz and Pavlov) knocking me down the stairs. I try to make sure I have my hand on the handrail for extra balance, but you never know.

MOmmyof2, I feel the same way about my dogs. They are my boys.

Spookiesmom, I LOVE that poster! "That's the guy....." Hilarious! I know some day in the near future, against my better judgement, I am going to rescue another furry child! They are the best, so loyal and great for stress relief!

When I fell it scared me. I was almost seeing it in slow motion as I fell. My arm has a torn rotator cuff. Not sure if it's completely torn as of yet, but no matter. I can't have it operated on anyway. No nodes in that arm, can't take the chance. Infection. I did grab the handrail and had to let go. That’s how I tore my rotator cuff. They said it looks like a broom... in the X-ray. So. Wtf. Always somwthing

    Micmel I love the picture!

I don’t know all your health issues but in 2010 my right rotator cuff had complete tears. I actually wasn’t in pain, but I could only move my arm at the elbow, I couldn’t move my arm forward or backwards. I had a total reverse shoulder replacement and it is so good I forget that I had it replaced! Six years later my left shoulder had the same issues. Because I had IDC in my left breast in 2003, 24 nodes removed which caused me to have immediate lymphedema, I didn’t think I could have surgery on my left shoulder. I was wrong and I had a complete reverse shoulder replacement on my left shoulder with no harm to my arm. My orthopedic doctor was amazing and they wrapped my arm for the surgery and were very pro active to prevent infection.

Just food for thought. I wish you the best!

Again, really love the photo, did you take it? Reminded me of my sweet lab, Maverick! I miss him so much

I am going to find out as much as I can about getting it looked at. It worries me at the thought of another surgery. But I don’t want this to be the pain, okay additional pain. Everyday. I have enough already. My daughter sent the pic to me. It’s from a highway close to her work. She’s all about dogs and was freaking out holding up traffic. She showed that in her rear view mirror lol. She didn’t care lol. I love the picture also. It is just one of those formations we get lucky to see.

micmel- a COMPLETE assessment of your medical history will be done prior to making a recommendation for shoulder surgery. Mavericks mom is one of many women who have had shoulder repairs even with lymphedema. It's extremely important to have an excellent orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulders. Loved the picture.

I just completed a 5-hour round trip from my mom's house back to Miami with thunderstorms. When I arrived home,I poured a glass of wine and set it aside. I wanted to make sure all my dogs went outside to potty while I prepared their dinner. Imagine my surprise when I turned around and realize my darling Janko who is a shitzu / Cavalier decided to drink my glass of wine. There's no more wine in the house so I will have to wait until tomorrow evening to have a glass of wine.

Reminds me of when I was sick from chemo, couldn’t eat, but I was gonna be “normal” and choke down some coffee. Which I left on the coffee table for a bathroom break. And came back to see Kris standing on the table, with coffee dripping off his whiskers.

Every time I make mashed potatoes from scratch, my Jackson has to have a few bites. He won't eat them from his dog dish, hehas to have it right off the fork!

Mivmel- hilarious. I've never seen the show The Bachelor. Colton is one good-looking young man and the pups cute too. I cannot wait to share this story with my friends tomorrow. They will get a kick out of it.
