I love my dogs but I would go stir-crazy if I had to stay at home with them every day. LOL

I don’t know how she knows there is toys on my messy desk. And it’s not like she doesn’t have others to play withimage

could someone please tell me why, every single time my Deeohgee comes up on the bed to cuddle with me at naptime. That it’s like a green light for him to put out gas near my blankets. Uhhhh. Ugh. Gagging gasp! 🤢 it’s like they save it up just for us. Talk about a potential Dutch oven scenario.! Arrrrrgggggghhh mans best friend really do stink at times... especially with age!

Cut off his broccoli? My 2 love their veggies. But really, maybe it’s the food, or ask your vet.

Thought I was the only one who got gassed by their dog! Jackson has done that to me a couple of times! It’s so bad that it could kill a squirrel at 25 paces

We have a new member of our family, Lily, a 5 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I didn't know how much I wanted a dog, no, that is not true, I did, but I didn't know how much I NEEDED a dog! We have always had dogs but after we lost our beloved Lucy, a chihuahua mix, years ago, I didn't expect to ever own one again. This was totally unexpected and all because of a hermit crab!

My grandson is 5 and he loves animals. He wants a dog but a dog won't fit into their lifestyle right now. When my daughter and her family went to the Jersey shore last weekend, they came home with "Hermie" a hermit crab. They actually need specific things to stay alive, so my daughter had been visiting the pet stores all week getting different supplies.

Today she added two more hermit crabs and of course needed a bigger aquarium. She visited PetSmart and they had their rescue dogs today. She saw the cavalier and was on the phone to me. I went up and it was love at first sight. She is so sweet. She came from an abusive situation, a Lancaster "puppy mill." She was forced to have puppies, and they starved the father of the litter! I saw pictures and it was heart breaking! She had an open hernia and still was forced to have puppies! Then the rescue group came in and she got the hernia repaired and was spayed. They couldn't save the sire of the puppies even though they tried.

She seems to be adjusting to us well, but prefers my daughter and I over my husband. I think that is because it was a man who hurt her. She will warm up to him in time and he already loves her! My grandkids can't wait to come over tomorrow and she her. In a little while it will be doggie spa day as she really needs a bath!

Finally, something that makes me think of something other than cancer and makes me want to move forward in life with a smile on my face! I will try to post pictures but I need to use my iPad for that. Not exactly sure how to post pictures. Can someone give a technology challenged woman a few pointers on how to post a picture on here? Thanks!

there is an icon that looks like a mountain. Poke that, follow the prompts.

Congratulations on a new baby, and YAY to all involved in her rescue. Our Kris is our second rescue poodle.

Welcome maverick...looking forward to the picture. Maybe your grandson can help you post the photo Happy

I sure understand the need vs want. The longer I've had my little Punkin - 3+years now - the greater that need becomes yet so does want.

Hello fellow paw moms! I'm back after the trip to Italy, and then not having time to post for while as things had gotten really busy between work and caring for my mom who spent 10 days in the hospital with pneumonia (she's better now and is going to be fine).

Anyways, I've been following along the pics and of course fun posts (the one about favorite thing ever from a dog's perspective was awesome).

Mavericks mom - welcome and what a gorgeous King Charles cavalier you have! So glad you rescued her.

Micmel - how is your arm? Any further advice from the docs? I can totally understand not wanting to go through another surgery, maybe it can heal on it's own?

Domino and Tucker say hello! Here's Tucker (who is 17!) getting a lift from my husband, and Domino looking super cute with her summer puppy cut.

The horse is a neighbors . There are 3 horses and this one and Daisy have hit it off. We try to walk several evenings a week and we pass them on our walk. This horse and daisy will rub noses and be affectionate . It’s really cute . The other horse will try to butt in and then the horses start nipping at each other so we move on along.

Jackson has been acting very odd since after the 4th of July. Every night he waits for my hubby to take him upstairs to bed when my hubby goes.

Think it could be that or because we have had some really bad hot spells here.
