I always wanted to try yoga, I am in no way graceful, I think you're all amazing to be able to have freaking bone mets and practice yoga!! I can't even get up without taking the time to adjust my bones and walking. But I ran yesterday , taking a break today. It's very hot already in the northeast and that means humid! So today I'm taking a break. I think you're all amazing. Thank you!! For the boost! ~M~

Ran a musical errand, actually biked it, carrying a violin with my left hand and holding the handlebar with my right. DD was then 15 minutes late, by which time I had spoken to several of her friends from elementary. I also ran into DDs kindergarten teacher and found out her mom had passed away from BC. We both had teary eyes while we hugged. This juggernaut seems unstoppable sometimes.

Jackboo, I just noticed the pink-haired ladies. Nice contrast to the traditional houses.

Will go to the gym today and tomorrow go out with a new running buddy.

Got 60 minutes of yoga and a brisk 20 minute walk in yesterday. Shooting for about the same today.

When mood and sleep are the issue, yoga and walking seems to be the best recipe for me. Hot yoga is beyond awesome but a little harder for me to arrange. Getting a condo in a nearby city next month where my husband's company has moved. Should give me better access to more fitness options.

Mood and sleep improving each day on this regime, but not an overnight kind of thing. Takes time.

Keep moving ladies. What are you dealing with? How are you doing it? How is it working?

jogged for an hour and now I feel like my back could break right along with my foot. Geeze running away from cancer is hard work. My back is nothing like it used to be. It is amazing I can stand no less jog. I am almost at 10k today at its 4:00p.m. here so not too bad. Just wish all the aches and pains of ours would pack up and move on out!!! I'm sick of feeling aches and pains that we have no choice but to push through. I sincerely miss the days when I would fly through my work out and it was actually getting me progress, now it's like I just do it because I'm praying it might buy me another year or who knows many! Hope everyone is happy with what they were able to do today, if that was nothing then good job ! Because I most likely, won't be getting up for the rest of the night! ~M~

    Nice job Micmel!

Well, I actually did 30 minutes of telemere lengthening cardio today ... worlds slowest jog but still cardio ... and 90 minutes of yoga in the sauna of the local spa. Nothing seems to set things straight like yoga in a hot room. I cannot get enough. Well, 90 minutes was quite enough, but if I can find a way to get to it tomorrow, I will.

A normal exercise day, first in a while. Fog cleared a bit, but still taking it easy.

    Keep moving ladies!

Just checking in. Day 2 post THP chemo. Feeling rough. Sleep issues as it is 5.30am now for me and have struggled with steroids. I am flushed in face and chest and fatigue setting in. The change is hard to take having regained fitness at end of cycle 1 to a significant degree.

So I wil aim for shuffling around the house and a possible trip to store with Richard ( husband) but I'm determined to stay positive and I'm going to lol into meditation, a yoga instructor who could come to my house and more tasty nutritious food.

I need more ideas on meals I can prepare in advance as I'm struggling to cook in eve. But I get lots of help and support so the only pressure there is what I put on myself. Have swapped to organic chicken which is double the price but I'm eating that from now on.

Z- the yoga in the sauna sounds amazing and I'm in awe generally of everyone's efforts on this thread. Looking forward to dropping my BMI and mixing up exercise. I like cycling and did Pilates years ago so these are on the plan.

    Sending best wishes

Z~ still envious of the ability to stay in the hot sauna. With my one lung. I just couldn't do it. Can't breathe, like sponge bob square pant under a light drying up, is how i would be. Sounds so relaxing, glad to see you trucking along. Been worried about you. Thanks for always inspiring this thread and everywhere you seem to go Z. You're a good person.! Hugs! ~M~

Jack~ sometimes shuffling around the house is all we can do, there is nothing wrong with that at all. I have terrible heat flashes so I can relate and do experience self combustion regularly. You'll get there just take one day at a time. Somedays I just feel so strong. Others... hate to think of going to the bathroom. My bones ache!!!

    Hope everyone hasa nice weekend!

Ankle x ray and leg US all good but no idea what caused the pain and swelling. It's ok now but I'm still taking it a little easy. Went for a slow scenic walk today instead of the usual 3 miles on the hike/bike path. I do enjoy the bayou's, just no swimming.

I've been working up to it over weeks, but 60-90 minutes of yoga in a hot or hot/humid room has become a pleasure. Sleep issues diminishing, mood improving. I started just sitting in a sauna for 15 minutes in December. I am surprised myself how much I love it.

60 minute hot yoga class today. possible nap coming on. wouldn't that be awesome....

Micmel, that bayou is too shallow but yes, we've got gators in many ponds and bayous in southeast Texas.

    Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Love the hot stories, Z! Heat is so good for our stiff joints and then add yoga, wow! Illimae, lovely path and glad your ankle is ok. I had a swollen hand once and my doctor checked me for gout, but it wasn't that. No idea what it was. Probably lifted too much and strained my hand muscles.

I had a rest day yesterday and today due to fever and feeling flu-ish. Slept for almost 16 hours straight.

Feel better Heidi! I am jealous of 16 hours of sleep but did get a delicious nap today.

11 year old DD nailed one seriously hairy concerto at her recital today .. first time playing with a professional accompanist. It was so lovely, I got weepy.

    Good day.

    Hey Ladies

Couldn't make my dance competition today due to 11 hours of bartending, but all of my gymnasts did extremely well, what really made my day special was that my youngest 5 and 7 year olds took 1st place overall, high performance award and judges award, makes it so worth it💕💕💕worn out and tired now! Sleep well !

Nice job Paula ... so you coach gymnasts and you bartend and you are dealing with cancer? You are made of superwoman material.

Thanks Micmel. Gotta get out of bed when you have kids. No other option. So grateful for that.

thx z and 2 days a week I am also a nursing supervisor for a home heath agency, I also tire easily and have to rest at times! I will go to see my baby girl next week in a Utah. Staying busy helps my mind from thinking to much. You run and I don't think I could handle that

omg!!! precious!!! 👌👌👏 very well done ladies and mom. They look so glamorous in their make up and their hair all done. I remember my DD when she would do that. Brings a tear to my eyes. She is now 21 and full of personality even back then. Hold on to every moment because it is true you turn around and they grow up on you, god bless those beautiful children and everyone here who fights for what is really important! Those beauties! Wonderful mothers everywhere, you are pretty amazing creatures you are. Reliable, loving, honest ,steady, beautiful and also come equipped with super hero talents that allow one to do all this and still battle cancer. Amazing things go on here on this thread. I am so proud to know you all. I just wish it wasn't because of the bad cancer! Hugs to all youstrong ladies. ~M~

Z~ you always do a great job getting out of bed, there are many days where your words make me get to walking or running. I hope you know that!!

Beautiful, beautiful, Z, Paula and Stefajoy. I can hear the music playing, feel the thrill of victory and hear the sounds of otters and sea lions. Thanks for sharing, guys. Echoing Micmel, I am so proud of you. Micmel, you are strong, too, if you managed to raise your 21 year old without going insane. Mommyhood is such a tough job.

I am out of bed and promise to get out and enjoy the great weather. I really need some Vitamin D, infrared, blue light, whatever. I had DDs D Levels checked and she was low. I must be much lower as kids usually are more efficient at producing it. Time to get a handle on that by exercising outdoors. I am helping out at the salsa school tonight so will keep moving.
