Gracie~WoW! That is a long time. I can totally understand why today would be a difficult day for you. I am so very sorry, more than words can just say. Things are just damn hard. I wish I could give you a hug. You're such a good person. Hanging in there my friend. ~M~
Robin~ welcome back. Good to see you're ok and was just out of town. I hope it was a good out of town. little willy is absolutely perfect. I love him and I don't even know him. You're a lucky lady. You picked a perfect angel. I love cuddle bugs. Mine are big big babies actually. It's so muddy outside. They track in paw prints 🐾 everywhere on our new carpet. At least it brushes out when it dries. Owning dogs is tough work. But they are so loving. Sleep well. Much love ~M~

Micmel, I think of you every day and will be, in spirit, sitting in the waiting room patiently waiting for you. As will so many others.

I'm waiting for my ride to the hospital for the colonoscopy. I'm like you micmel, I'll be fine as soon as I am "out". Last night was horrible with the prep and no sleep. This is just a routine colonoscopy for me. I had polyps three years ago

Good morning to everyone following this thread. All is well with me. I read the posts here pretty much every day, but I have to be in a certain frame of mind to collect my thoughts and put them in writing. It's been hectic in the household, in mostly good ways, and that translates into less time spent writing. My brain only holds so much information these days before it hits overload!
Micmel, I wish you the best as you head into surgery tomorrow.
Mae, that is an interesting scan report; I'm glad it hasn't zapped your sense of humor! You is tough, girl.
Also hope things go well for you, Grannax, and the colonoscopy.
Rpoole, that dog is gorgeous!
Magda, hope you are recovering well enough from the hospitalization.
Fiddiesgirl, your trip to F-L-A sounds like it went well.
March weather has sucked. So much rain, some snow, cold temps. Ready for spring! Wishing all a nice Easter weekend, whether you are of the faith or not.

Well this was a first. Buying a house from a hospital bed. We had a very pleasant and efficient mobile notary, everything went off without a hitch, and closing is done. The hospitalist was just here, and has agreed I can go home, with home health and protocols in place. I will have to be extremely careful with any postural changes, sitting, standing, etc. Still not out of the woods for possibility of congestive heart failure. They don’t want to do a cardiac cath/stents with my extensive mets as it would be too invasive and not worth the risks.
I will be forever grateful to Loveroflife (Loverly) and Sas-Schatzi for their years of expertise, research persistence, and love, because they were the ones who guided my medical team to the right diagnosis and treatment plan that got me through to today. I would kiss Loverly’s feet - but that would require postural change.
So onward and upward!

Mags, I am glad that you are in recovery mode. Wow, what a frightening experience. I read through Loverly's and Sas's posts on the insomniacs thread. They truly went above and beyond to make sure you received the correct diagnosis and treatment. I am thankful that Max listened to Sas's advice and information and passed it along to the hospitalist who was then wiling to investigate and act upon that information. I do believe that, as Loverly said, they were guided by God. If Loverly and Sas aren't already on the BCO VIP list, they deserve to be added. So many pieces had to fall into place for you, Mags. I am thankful that things happened as they did and quickly enough to make a difference. It takes my breath away. Tears of joy and prayers of thanks from me. Amazing, Mags, just amazing
Gracie, My heart aches for you as you remember your anniversary without your husband. I can only imagine how hard it is to mark that wonderful event that happened 32 years ago. Hold on to the good memories, Gracie. Feel the love you shared. (((Hugs))).
Hugs and prayers to everyone from, Lynne.

Hi my friends! I jast lost a big post. It's ok I'll start again.
Magda it's so nice that you can go home. At home you'll recover with sure faster.
MicMel, tomorrow is the big day! Now with your DH next to you it will be a lot easier. Try to have some sleep tonight, I wake up every morning 6 o'clock, so my prayers will be with you. We all will be praying and the power of prayers will be multiplied by as many as we are. Let God gaid the surgents hand and have successful surgery.
DivineMrs it's nice to hear from you!
Grannax, I'll pray for god results from the colonoscopy and you are going to be good for the next 5 years.
Mae ,sorry the results are not all good, but at least they are 50 percent good. I am sure the doctor will figure out the medications . Once the tumor shrunk it will shrink again. This horrible cancer robbed our lives!
Tanya, I like your pictures. Please keep posting from the sunny Florida. I can't wait for the green grass, colorful trees and blue sky.
Minni31, hopefully you have less pain and be able to enjoy every precious day !
Prayers, love for all Elen

50sgirl, so happy for you that you spend a lot of time in Florida, enjoying the weather and having normal life! Sorry that you have to come back, but after the tests you can plan the next vacation. I am stuck with my grandson, but this is what I want now. I am in a happy denial every day with him. He is my purpose to live.
Love and hugs

OH, Blueshine, I think there must be a typo. I think that you are not stuck with that beautiful grandson of yours, you are blessed to have time with him. I completely understand why it makes you happy to spend time with him and gives your life purpose. He is absolutely adorable. The picture put a big fat smile on my face. Children provide us with so much joy and hope, don't they? Enjoy every minute.
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

o, yes 50sgirl, I was joking! I like to travel, but I wouldn't exchange my time with him for the best trip in the world. He is my blessing, he took me out of a very dark place. Grandkids are something special
Hugs for all. Elen

No one could frown with that adorable baby around! Mine are my happy place too.
Done with colonoscopy. I had three small polyps this time. She removed them and will BX. No worries, last time they were the pre cancer type but not cancer. I do have to do this again in three years.
Magdalene You had heart failure? I'm going to have to read those other posts. I guess you're on strong diuretics? Congrats on remote house buying. Has yours sold yet?
Micmel this is the day you can say it's finally tomorrow. Yay
Hydrangeas I love but I have black thumb! Bigbhome I thought you were gonna rest when all guests went home?!?!?💞

Hi all! I have been MIA with the flu. I have not been that sick in 20 some years. Literally could not get out of bed for 5 days. I am slowly recovering, able to make it downstairs and sit in he recliner and shower without assistance. I missed the last 3 pills in my Ibrance cycle per my oncs advice, it was the first time I've ever had to miss. I have lots of reading to catch up on all of your news but wanted to pop in and wish Micmel good luck on her surgery tomorrow. We will all be angels on your shoulder as you are being wheeled in for your surgery. Hope everyone else is doing well and the flu stays away from you.0

Hello Ladies~ I am all medicated up and drinking as much water as I possibly can before midnight. I am an avid water drinker. Tell me I can't drink water, then it becomes all I want. I'll miss my friend coffee in the morning. Thanks to all for the sweet wishes it means so much to have all of your friendship and wonderful support. I am going to try to get to bed early.... I have to shower at 515 with that hipacleanse. Such fun. I have to report to the hospital at 630. I am first on deck for the morning... so I should be prepped rather quickly I would assume. IV another entirely different story. DH unusually quiet tonight, I think the last month has caught up with him. Basically moving himself. He's beyond exhausted. Hopefully he will also sleep well. People can only take so much. I just wanted to to check in one more time before I leave for the hospital Bright and early. Good night friends. I'll check in when I i can. Much love ~M~
Oh Runor~ I think of you every day also my friend. Thanks for that! Also GP thanks for the sweet PM.... Mae, hope you're ok. I'm sorry I missed you. Thinking of you as well. Hugs to all. ~M~
