@mara51506 I'm glad to hear that that outlet will be checked out by an electrician tomorrow. I had a similar incident in my home and was worried it could be a fire hazard if it shorted again. I am surprised that no one came earlier to check the breaker. Thank goodness your brother came and had access to it.
1 -
Electrician is replacing the outlet for me, will also add some extra outlets that can be plugged in. Give me 6 outlets. Still cannot use more than one high drain thing at a time like the microwave and breville oven or heater. I plan to dedicate the higher outlets for that. Air fryer will also be run off it. Again one at a time and unplugging smaller kitchen things after use. Found another long cord to put on bottom and have it go to the washers in there. All grounded and have power surge protection.
Gonna buy lunch now since he is not back yet. Again, will all be safer when checked and new outlet and connectors put in. Decided on a mcdouble value meal, add onions and lettuce with mayo too. Small fries and a fruitopia. I would have got the Big Mac Meal but by the time tax, delivery fees and tips are added would have been 10 more dollars.

So I am happy with my wiring. Electrician said he did not have a problem with taking one of my plugs which had one plug in and 4 separate places to plug stuff in. So I used that on the bottom, put another long cord to be the plug for the wash machines. Knowing nothing is wrong in the wiring gives me a sense of ease. I am also going to keep the other small appliances, chopper, spice grinder and magic bullet in the same container but put them on the floor next to the air fryer. Keep room on the counter.
I ordered another burger meal, the same as the earlier one. McDouble with tomato, lettuce extra onions and mayo added, no pickles with small fries and another fruitopia as well.
I did buy snacks since will be at the cancer clinic for the better part of a day, visit MO for CT results first then the Herceptin. The snacks are from Amazon, called veggie crisps and the flavour is zesty ranch and they are yummy. Also had 3 Sweet Tarts, they are so tart if overdone in eating, a belly ache will head your way.

hello lovelies. I’m just checking in. We finally got the word that Gabbie is cancer free, she’s gettting her surgery these coming months thrilled and beyond happy. I saw my oncologist Monday after another ct scan. She told me flat out you are in remission . I lost all the blood in my face and almost fainted. I’ve never heard of this directed toward me before or had a doctor put it in writing officially. Elated for Gabbie and shocked for myself. She said 5 years is good for nead and 10 years which I hit this past January is amazing. I thought I was dreaming. I pray and think about all of you ladies everyday. I’ve been trying to keep cancer at bay in my life so I’ll continue to pop in to say hello. Love to all. Hugs and smiles

@micmel thats amazing news for you and your family.

@micmel I am beyond ecstatic for you and Gabby! Wow what wonderful news , I wish your family all the best going forward.❣️🍾
@mara51506 In your pocket today, hope all goes smoothly and it's all positive news. Glad you got your extra outlets!

Mel - what amazing news🎉🎉🎉. We are elated for you and dear Gabby❤️❤️.

@cookie54 Thank you, I am sure it will be just fine. I can feel your pocket duty of support.
I am so glad the electrical stuff is over, he changed the outlet, left 2 plugs with 2 outlets each. I set up the outlets the way I wanted to and this time put the basket full of the spice grinder, magic bullet and chopper on floor beside cabinets, helps to support extension into the bathroom since he said no real way to add electricity into the bathroom. That is fine. Like having full countertop and just bringing out one thing at a time. He also does not have problem with extensions or fashioning other outlets but being aware that no more power can go through. He was a nice person.
Not sure about breakfast yet, thinking eggs and a meat pie or eggs and beefless ground. Got a while yet, laundry is on the go, it was hot yesterday, cooler now. I wanted to wear my favourite shirt which is a warmer one. I found a swiffer wetjet in the hall, was sitting there for 3 days with no one out to claim it so I did. I can use in conjunction with the microfibre vileda as a dry mop.
EDIT breakfast is 2 eggs, lentils, beefless ground with garlic butter dry seasoning, sour cream and onion seasoning and a bit of salt, stirred first and added to microwave for 5 mins. I added some chipotle and will be adding some mayo as binders. I am sure it will be good.
EDIT2 So the 2 eggs lentils and beefless ground with the garlic butter and sour cream and onion seasoning binders after came out of microwave, timed for 5 mins on high was delicious. Very creamy post queso and plain mayo binders, made eggs more tasty to my palate, yummy, fat filled and good. The cost with my stomach was one digestive enzyme and 3 immodium. There was a bit of leftover stuff so can make that tonight.
I will post any good meal, I hope everyone has a great day and in pockets for all.

Oh No @mara51506 . That electrical sparking is very scary. That happened to me last week while I was in my I Pad and Im sitting there on the couch and suddenly hear a snapping crackle sound I looked at the connection to the extension cord with my charger plugged in and noticed sparks coming ou during crackling noise. So I disconnected the extension cord and pulled out the charger. DH went a nd got me a new extension cord and we plugged it in, an now I can sit downstairs living room with my IPad next to the aquarium where it’s so relaxing., we didn’t blow a fuse though. Mara I’m sorry you lost power. Thank goodness DB saved the day for you.🌷🪻🌸🩵
@cookie54 Thankyou for your kind words. yes my Pulmonologist is a baby. He’s so young. My oncologist loves him and has known him his whole life because he is glose with his Dr Father for many years😊So my baby Pulmonologist grew up with Dr.s and his practice works with my Oncologist closely. so that’s been a blessing. Baby Pulmonologist just had his first baby 3 months ago.. It’ so wierd going to such young doctors who are a little yoinger than millennieals. He is so nice and does take care of me.
2 -
@shanagirl Yeah it was scary, good that DB came over and flipped the breaker that I was too weak to do so I did get power back to my place. Lucky that I have the hip fan which has a fantastic flashlight on it and does actually charge things too. Fan power is fantastic. The electrician replaced the outlet after checking on it, nothing damaged inside but replaced anyway, gave me extra outlets too, pack of 3 per original outlets, gives me six. Let me know that though it is OK to plug other outlets in as I have had to do, still limited to the power available so run one thing at a time. Easy enough to do. I also gained a counter on other side, put all kitchen tools in their container on floor and keeps the extension cord for the washers flatter than they were before.
I did go to be pretty late, supper was thrown off as I snacked a lot at the MO and Herceptin appointments. The 6pm pick up after Herceptin was fine as I waited about two hours. Good thing I have a charger and two pairs of earbuds to see me through at all times. Got full from my snack of veggie crisps and the two little blocks of cheese and ginger ale later so supper did not happen.
CT was clear, no changes in 11 years of those scans. Neck down of body has always been NED. I am relieved and thankful for the pocket duty.
Nothing firm on the agenda today. I am a little bit tired as bedtime is usually weird, I did fall asleep from about 10 pm, woke a 330 am so just made tea and went off to bed again. Woke around 9 am so I consider it a full night of sleep.
Not sure what to do meal wise, still have part of the egg and lentil meal I had yesterday so may use again today, just add a mini pot pie to it I think. I am also planning to microwave one egg on its own and add green and black beans to the chopper, possibly some cheese as well. As many know, I prefer smaller bean type stuff, easier to blend. I also need to check on noodles and flavour paks to see which if either don't taste right, if they are fine, no problem using, if not, chuck them all and go with new stuff. I am also looking at taking some veggie crispy crunch zesty ranch to act as seasoning, I have to say they are delicious, got them off Amazon. Have to buy 2 at a time eqaling 4 plus tax so thinking of playing a mobile game to take the cost off and be free or half off. Pretty easy to do.
I hope all have a good day, in pockets for all.
3 -
Not sure why meal plan did not post, will contain it here.
I opened a can of black beans and green beans separately. I put both kinds in one container to keep in fridge.
I took 2 eggs, about a cup of green beans and black bean mix. Heated in microwave for 6 mins since only 700 W. Let it cool. I brought out my chopper and put the egg and bean mix together, added some cheese and zesty ranch veggie crisps, not too many. If I describe what it looks like, ground beef to be honest.
The meal was really good, I have more to serve along with a mini pot pie and possible english muffin.
I am also tossing the pot, finish is coming off in earnest, can do it all in the air fryer which the finish does not come off and non sticky. I will figure out dinner soon.

I did do my monthly charges from Amazon for cats and myself. I think I mentioned finding a Swiffer Wet Jet in the hall which was there at the back door for a few days, it sure does a bang up job of making the floor look great but realize that the pads are quite expensive so got some reusable pads to use instead, can then do the vacuum sweeper first, then a run along with a dry swiffer pad for fur and the jet for the cleaning. Excited. Since my apartment is quite small, it will not take long to clean floors. It really does look good and doesn't eat up too much energy to keep things clean.
3 -
@mara51506 Great news on 11 years of nothing in the lower half, may it continue! You're smart to always have the phone accessories with you for the longer waits. I hear ya on the Swiffer Wet Jet it can get pricey with the pads when you using them often I have hardwood floors throughout most of my house and use various methods to clean them. I do have the mop that has the velcro microfiber pad and water reservoir which I put the Bona floor cleaner in and it does a quick and easy cleanup. Also I love this bathroom brush , it saves my back and des a great job, (amazon of course) Figured I would spread the word for all the cleaning fanatics here lol.
Had a nice lunch yesterday with friends / former co-workers. We went to Applebee's it's never about the food , it's usually going somewhere that doesn't mind if we sit there for hours and catch up! Quiet relaxing Easter here this year which works for us. Just the kids and significant others , keeping it simple with our traditional Italian. Lasagna , meatballs, sausage etc, relaxing day. Going Monday morning to be a witness for our DD and future son in law as they get their marriage license. Just 4 more weeks to go, getting exciting!
@candy-678 Thinking of you , sending strength and hugs.
@shanagirl I love that you have your "baby Pulm doc" lol. How nice it that to follow in his dad's footsteps and to be also as caring. Well he learned from the best and it shows!
Thinking of many here and hope it's a good day and a nice weekend. Wishing all who celebrate Passover and Easter a blessed holiday🌷

@chicagoan , @cookie54 I do enjoy the bathtub scrubber myself, makes it easier to keep bottom of the tub more presentable for sure. For sink and toilet beyond the toilet scrubber for toilet, I tend to load up a spray bottle with a toilet cleaner in a spray bottle and use that mostly. Got those discs that are supposed to go in the toilet tank but found they did not last so took hot water in a measuring pot that is not used for food, let the hot water melt the puck down a bit and funnel the mix into a spray bottle, makes it easy to just give a good spray and it is clean. Floors will be done more often as well.
Not sure about food, still have the mix of black and green beans, working my way though the canned stuff. I do like the stuff chopped including microwaved egg but will do the warming routine in the air fryer as it does not make stuff stick, getting rid of the old fry pan. I will not be booking any groceries this weekend since stores are closed today and Sunday over easter and food will likely be out of stock anyway by the time people pick over the stock. I will post what I end up making.
I have to say the inexpensive veggie crisps I get on amazon are really nice both for a snack and as an addition or seasoning to other stuff. It is quite yummy. I play mobile games to get it for a less expensive price, had enough for the last delivery of 2 packs which should have been 4 plus tax but were 1.50 total after adding funds from my little mobile games. Probably going to chop up an egg or two with beans in, green and black, got lentils too. If microwaved first, it can all be chopped up, possibly with some shred cheese and likely include some dry seasonings including chopped up leftover regular chips, I have spicy BBQ that are too much for me. Run them through the grinder and I have a really nice seasoning to add to a meal and uses up chips. I have also thought about popping up some of the microwave popcorn, adding butter and garlic butter to the mix, eating some and saving some for another layer of meals as a seasoning. I will definitely post if that happens.
EDIT I have decided on a couple of eggs, put in the microwave but put a couple of mini pot pies on top and season with the ever present garlic butter seasoning and some sour cream and onion as well, heat for approx 4 to 5 mins. Will add the ever present lentils as well
EDIT 2 Supper was lazy, frozen beef and tomato macaroni pasta with a healthy dose of lentils. If I had to give my preference for beans or lentils, canned lentils win all the way for me. They are good. Overdid the dry seasoning a bit but no bother really. Still a simple good meal.
I have cut all streaming except for you tube, can get all shows I watch on a delay so saves me almost 30 bucks which is good. Spending limit for groceries will hopefully stay within 60 bucks a month as I still have food I am going through. Mostly looking at things like eggs, yogurt and cheese. I have plenty of pantry meals and will eat through those.
Hope everyone had a good day, still was in pockets for all. Loving the Swiffer wet jet and the reusable cloths. They are much easier to put on and take off, a lot like velcro. Washed one today which is cool.

A very Happy Easter 🐰 🐣 to all who celebrate! I hope your day(s) are full of joy and hope.
I haven't been on the site for awhile, as just so wiped out and fatigued these days. I've thought it was all the Xeloda, but now I'm wondering if I have Covid or some other virus. I planned to go out to eat today with my brother and a friend, but wondering if I shouldn't go to urgent care instead.
For the last few days I've had a lot of sneezing, coughing, runny nose and super fatigue, but I figured it was allergies, as the pollen count is quite high around here this week. Claritin helped a little, but not completely. Developed a low grade fever overnight, but it's gone now. Heart rate is a little higher than normal, though. Just can't decide whether to go out to eat anyway or go to urgent care.
Getting first scans since starting Xeloda, this coming Wednesday. Tumor markers for the last two months showed really good progress. Hoping the scans do too. Onc says if scans look extra good he will consider lowering the dose. I think that would be great, if possible. This Xeloda is sooooo exhausting!
Well, there's my Easter rant. Again I hope everyone else at least is having a wonderful day. We do have a lot of sunshine here and about 64°, and I'm real happy for that. Birds are chirping like crazy and much is starting to bloom. May we all have some renewed hope for our health situations this year!
@micmel - Mel, I did just happen to see your post about both Gabby and you, and I am just thrilled that the two of you got such fabulous news. Happy Easter and hugs 🤗!!
6 -
@threetree Sorry you are suffering extra today. Only you know your body and how it reacts. Yes, Xeloda can give extra fatigue. I have also had something extra happening with coughing and sneeznig I think. Usually I recover from my chemo a lot faster than I did this time also, but I have been extra weak with very low stamina and extra coughing. I was thinking it was allergies and a result of the fires that are all around us. Yesterday I finally got out of the house to go Easter shopping with my DD and DGD. I just hung around the store while they tried on clothes, etc., but it was good. I actually walked longer and farther than I had in a long while. My DD has lost almost 40 pounds and needs a whole new wardrobe as she is now a size 6, Yay for her! She is going on a cruise in June and needs to replace her wardrobe. I am going to attempt to fix dinner for the four of us today. I haven't really cooked in a couple of weeks.
7 -
@intolight - Thanks so very much for your thoughts. They are much appreciated. I'm feeling a little better as the morning goes on and am thinking about just taking a couple of Tylenol and going out to eat, instead of bagging it for urgent care. Xeloda can cause this awful fatigue, and especially when starting the week off, which I am. I guess it can cause runny noses and coughing too, from what I read.
The allergies can cause body aches, fatigue, sore throat, coughing, etc., so I'm back to thinking this is "just" a combination of Xeloda and allergy side effects. No more sign of the low grade fever, and I read that being under the covers at night can raise body temperature, and that's when I took my temp. I'm leaning towards going out to dinner now.
Wow re your daughter's weight loss success. What fun - a mother/daughter new wardrobe shopping trip! Interesting too about your rougher week with chemo. That's what I've had with the Xeloda (chemo pill). Maybe there is something seasonal involved?
Wishing you a wonderful dinner making experience today, and I hope you all have a nice and special time together eating it. Happy Easter 💐🐰🌞!

Happy Easter Ladies……🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🩵🙌 I hope you’re all spending. Time with those you love. We had a lovely brunch and played this family game my daughter arranged. It was a wonderful time !

Oh I'm late, I'm late, for an important date. That's paraphrasing Christopher Robin from the book 'House by Pooh Corner". I think it was my first book that I read by myself as a child.
That important date was a Happy Easter to all that celebrate. I hope it was wonderful making memories with family and friends. We made Hunt's manwich, beanie weenies (lol), potato salad and bought fried fish sandwiches from a little shop that makes the best fish and oyster sandwiches in the area. Kids didn't show up, but DD finally stopped for 10 minutes to take food with her.
We watched Easter Parade with Judy Garland and Fred Astaire. And the Phillies lose a game to Colorado. Glorious weather. Been working on planting seedlings and removing weeds (grr). Used that vinegar/water/dish deter./salt receipe. It does a good job on the surface but not much help with the roots. A few of our tropical plants are making a comeback. Tiny little buds at the base of the plants. At this rate, I'm estimating 5 years to regain same size before heavy freeze. Haha.
Mel, we are so very happy for you and Gabby. No better words could have been spoken!!
Shanagirl, I hope your pulmonary dr. gets you back to feeling better.
Mara, glad the electrician did show up but thank goodness for brother. We had a storm that struck our power line and back tracked into the house thru the neutral wire. I smelled smoke and called fire dept. The used a sensor device and tracked it to a inside dining room wall. We had it rewire and fortunately no fire, just hot wires.
In pockets for all the sweet folks here.

I did nothing Easter Sunday, that is OK, does not bother me, watched a couple of movies, Deadpool and Wolverine and I also watch Candyman 1992 version. It is one of my favourite movies.
I got some much needed peanut butter from Amazon yesterday. I am enjoying some buttered english muffins first, let them cool from toasting in the breville, put a bunch of peanut butter on and a bit of honey. Have to be careful with it because too much is unappealing to me. I have also thought about what I can add a bit of honey to, yogurt is obvious but I will see. I will post if I make something interesting. Still working through pantry and freezer. Been waiting to make a Walmart order since my limit is 60 bucks per month. Not sure if it is possible but we would see. I may start getting dried lentils and beans and stuff, be easy to go in and select the amount needed but would have to be careful on the amount being soaked. We will see. I know dried stuff offers a higher yield than canned and it would be easy enough to soak over night. I would not do the whole bag because that would be too much. I am also thinking I would like to add quinoa to the mix today, still got some of the dried stuff hanging on the rack on outside of my bedroom.
I have also decided that when it comes to meat, I need it not to have too much grease. Even the lean ground beef produce a lot of grease and it is too much trouble to get it out. Thinking of buying beefless ground, it is expensive but paired up with beans, rice and eggs could stretch over several meals without providing the grease. Still got two more chubs of the lean ground beef as well. I will see what happens, try cooking it without adding another fat to it at the bottom of the pan, who knows. I see they have ramen for 12 cents but I still have a lot to use up myself so even that price makes no sense to fill up my pantry when there are so many packages already.
I am also debating going to the grocery store on the regular bus if I have decided I must have something, I am running low on hash browns and it would be nice to go and get some myself. Yes, I would need to walk and wait out side for the bus but it is not far and would just have them lower the ramp, trip is also free for me between 9 and 2pm and after 6pm weekdays and free all weekend. So makes sense to do that vs a full order of groceries, take advantage of a lack of snow and pick up stuff as needed provided weather not to bad and be cautious of picking up too much stuff. Pretty sure I have a bag to hold frozen stuff as well, I will check. I also noticed that I get a free transfer ride same as the regular bus if going home within 90 minutes. Can keep that in mind for later.
EDIT Chicken dogs I did in air fryer just require a shorter time, thinking 7 or 8 mins. I was plain hungry so ate the two I did for 15 mins. I will add the chicken dogs for later, they are cheaper and no grease which makes me happy. I can also cook one up, let cool then chop into beans, cheese and a microwaved egg then do a low heat warm up in the air fryer. I will see..
I hope all have a good day and in pockets for all, any cooking I do will be posted if fantastic.

Grateful to have had a really nice Easter this year. Last year I completely lost my voice and had to stay home alone. This year I had the privilege of preaching for a church that is waiting for its new pastor to arrive and then to also baptize two children! My brother who was hospitalized over Christmas was now well enough to host so we had a really nice day with friends and family-both of his children were home from college-it was so good to see them. My only disaster was an attempted lamb cake-I seasoned my cast iron mold two time but the cake did not turn out this year so I pivoted and made cup cakes. Fortunately they came out fine.
@mara51506 Going to the grocery store by bus sounds like it would be a nice change of pace. I think of you b/c in the US McDonald's has a $2 breakfast sandwich special on the app. I'm able to walk to my McDonald's and get a sandwich and wish you also were able to take advantage of the great deal.
6 -
In thinking about bills and stuff I watch, I decided to turn back on Stack TV, 16 channels on prime video and the Paramount as well as I love my Star Trek and other shows. If I give up Skip the dishes even just twice a month, the costs of the channels is still less money than two Mcdonalds meals by the time fees and tip are added.
4 -
@threetree In your pocket and fingers crossed that your scan on Wednesday shows improvement. This way you can get the dose reduction and hopefully feel less fatigued!
@chicagoan So glad to hear you had a great Easter! What a privilege to preach and also perform baptisms, you were blessed this year for sure. Hmmm I have never seen the lamb cake..sorry it didn't turn out .. I have seen the bunny cake which is adorable. Glad you were able to pivot and still have dessert.
@intolight Glad you were able to enjoy a shopping day with your girls! I'd rather not be the one trying on clothes lol, it's just great to be out and enjoy the simple things. Congrats to DD for losing all that weight, awesome.
@irishloveOh the Phillies… bats have been a bit quiet. hope they get rolling consistently soon! Sounds like you had a nice day anyway…. Ugh weeds are my enemy, I have tried that solution also..just meh…
@mara51506 There are so many channels out there anymore but what annoys me and DH is sometimes they want to charge you to stream some old 1980's movie. Ummm no thanks we pay enough for streaming and will catch it on live TV eventually. Hope you had a nice trip to the store today.
All status quo here, had a nice Easter Sil stopped by for a bit and the kids came over for dinner. Usual MO monthly appt this week, hoping my port behaves. I don't currently use if for treatment since I'm on oral but keep it open for labs and the future. Anyhow last month it would flush but couldn't draw blood from it so we used my arm. They said if it doesn't work this week they will try using clot buster alteplase to open things up..fingers crossed.
Hi to all and have a peaceful evening.
5 -
@cookie54 I decided to put the channels back, I like being a day ahead of US on Young and Restless in Canada and I do enjoy Star Trek. This is 25 bucks vs two burger meals would cost double so will stop meal orders from skip the dishes.
I also played my mobile games for snacks. I have enjoyed veggie crisps from amazon in zesty ranch flavour, going to try the ketchup flavour. Was 1.44 for two bags of them as made 2.86 dollars on the games I played.

Well, was in bed a bit late but slept well. Some of the sleep was on couch and finally climbed into bed.
Today is chilly, we have a dusting of snow but only on the grass, will get warmer as the week goes on. Debating a paratransit trip to Walmart to get the few things I want. I will see. My plan is to utilize a transfer so I only pay for one trip. Need to arrange it so that my pickup is within 90 minutes. I want to get some stuff and not sure about doing all shopping this early. I will see how the weather is on Friday or Saturday. I know we will be warmer. Will likely book for Friday or saturday. It would only cost 2.35 for the trip there and back. Option 2 sees me pull out the other transit card for free rides in the off peak hours on regular bus. Weather is better on Wednesday and Thursday. I will decide later between regular bus or Paratransit or even delivery.
Laundry needs doing, need to chop up beans to get them used up. In future, will be mostly lentils. They go so easily into anything. For now, working through the green and black mix of beans in the fridge OR just microwave an egg in a small bowl then make an english muffin to put it in, perhaps adding some shredded cheese to mimic an english muffin. Easy enough to make or make the egg in the mini griddle, I could go either or.
Not too much else to say, waiting on a monthly trillium benefit which is good as well then will do taxes for last year to get them in before end of April.
Play more mobile games too, there are lots of snacks on Amazon to get, got my ketchup Veggie Crisps coming tomorrow, with a credit earned on amazon got two of them for a dollar.
Hope everyone has a good day, in pockets for all. If a meal seems good to me I will post it for sure.

Hey all you sweet Lovlies🥰Wow just reading along here and how wonderful for you Mel and Gabby.. Mel In Remission! and Gabby Cancer Free. That’s so cool 👏
@cookie54 Yes I’m doing really good with no cough thanks to my baby Pulmonologist 😊♥️. I
I hope everyone who celebrates had a Happy Passover and a Happy Easter. I love the Spring. and I did had a very Happy Birthday also. I celebrated on Easter Sunday at my SIL’s Restaurant with my kids. It was really a nice time. We all laughed a lot and of course the food there is so excellent which made the whole experience wonderful.
@chicagoan I’m so glad to hear you really enjoyed your Easter this year
@threetree I’m in your pocket for your scans tomorrow and I hope you start to feel better soon. The constant fatique is always awful and takes away from daily goals to do anything. I’m still that way even though my cough and cold are gone, so I just chalk up the fatique to cancer Mets and the treatments..period. Otherwise I would keep wondering if it was something worse..
@intolight It sound like you and @threetree are dealing with the same thing Iwas a couple weeks ago. I think our treatment meds with the fatique and allergy runny nose SE’s were worse for me after the Fasoldex injections with the fatique and weakness. Verzenio also knocks the hell out of me. I was so tired after Easter & Birthday celebration on Sunday…. And I guess the Dirty Martini added to it.😉🍸
@irishlove Sounds like you had a fun day with the Hunt's manwich, beanie weenies 🤣potato salad and fried fish sandwiches from a little shop that makes the best fish and oyster sandwiches 😋😉🩵and I’m so glad you got to do some gardening.
@mara51506 that’s good!! Movies are a good thing to do when your doing a holiday by yourself. I like a good action movie always🩵🌷
6 -
@shanagirl Belated Happy Birthday! So glad you were feeling well and able to celebrate with family and friends. For me, every birthday since being diagnosed with MBC feels like a victory!
Let's hope that Spring is finally here-our weather keeps fluctuating-one day in the 70's, next back down to the 30's. I'm trying to declutter-hopefully I'll take some boxes of things to Goodwill today, then pickleball!
6 -
Slept OK, both on couch and later on in bed.
I ordered some cheeseburgers as a treat. I said I would not but there you go. Not feeling bad either about ordering. Insurance for year was paid, gonna use my 75 dollar trillium benefit to pay the insurance off faster.
Other than that, nothing but cleaning and taking out the garbage. I finally went out back and moved my old AC off another garbage can of mine, no room to store garbage and recycle in house and I cannot manage the can out back with my cane in tow since it is much larger. Better to just take bags of garbage over myself. With the AC, just knocked it off the garbage can and inched it in front of my other stuff. Easier to sort out back and march it out front giving a toss of the garbage bag.
Hoping the cheeseburgers are good, something happening with beans tonight. I will post later on.
Hope all have a good day and in pockets for everyone.
