@mara51506 I'm glad to hear that that outlet will be checked out by an electrician tomorrow. I had a similar incident in my home and was worried it could be a fire hazard if it shorted again. I am surprised that no one came earlier to check the breaker. Thank goodness your brother came and had access to it.

So I am happy with my wiring. Electrician said he did not have a problem with taking one of my plugs which had one plug in and 4 separate places to plug stuff in. So I used that on the bottom, put another long cord to be the plug for the wash machines. Knowing nothing is wrong in the wiring gives me a sense of ease. I am also going to keep the other small appliances, chopper, spice grinder and magic bullet in the same container but put them on the floor next to the air fryer. Keep room on the counter.

I ordered another burger meal, the same as the earlier one. McDouble with tomato, lettuce extra onions and mayo added, no pickles with small fries and another fruitopia as well.

I did buy snacks since will be at the cancer clinic for the better part of a day, visit MO for CT results first then the Herceptin. The snacks are from Amazon, called veggie crisps and the flavour is zesty ranch and they are yummy. Also had 3 Sweet Tarts, they are so tart if overdone in eating, a belly ache will head your way.

@cookie54 Thank you, I am sure it will be just fine. I can feel your pocket duty of support.

I am so glad the electrical stuff is over, he changed the outlet, left 2 plugs with 2 outlets each. I set up the outlets the way I wanted to and this time put the basket full of the spice grinder, magic bullet and chopper on floor beside cabinets, helps to support extension into the bathroom since he said no real way to add electricity into the bathroom. That is fine. Like having full countertop and just bringing out one thing at a time. He also does not have problem with extensions or fashioning other outlets but being aware that no more power can go through. He was a nice person.

Not sure about breakfast yet, thinking eggs and a meat pie or eggs and beefless ground. Got a while yet, laundry is on the go, it was hot yesterday, cooler now. I wanted to wear my favourite shirt which is a warmer one. I found a swiffer wetjet in the hall, was sitting there for 3 days with no one out to claim it so I did. I can use in conjunction with the microfibre vileda as a dry mop.

EDIT breakfast is 2 eggs, lentils, beefless ground with garlic butter dry seasoning, sour cream and onion seasoning and a bit of salt, stirred first and added to microwave for 5 mins. I added some chipotle and will be adding some mayo as binders. I am sure it will be good.

EDIT2 So the 2 eggs lentils and beefless ground with the garlic butter and sour cream and onion seasoning binders after came out of microwave, timed for 5 mins on high was delicious. Very creamy post queso and plain mayo binders, made eggs more tasty to my palate, yummy, fat filled and good. The cost with my stomach was one digestive enzyme and 3 immodium. There was a bit of leftover stuff so can make that tonight.

I will post any good meal, I hope everyone has a great day and in pockets for all.

Oh No @mara51506 . That electrical sparking is very scary. That happened to me last week while I was in my I Pad and Im sitting there on the couch and suddenly hear a snapping crackle sound I looked at the connection to the extension cord with my charger plugged in and noticed sparks coming ou during crackling noise. So I disconnected the extension cord and pulled out the charger. DH went a nd got me a new extension cord and we plugged it in, an now I can sit downstairs living room with my IPad next to the aquarium where it’s so relaxing., we didn’t blow a fuse though. Mara I’m sorry you lost power. Thank goodness DB saved the day for you.🌷🪻🌸🩵

@cookie54 Thankyou for your kind words. yes my Pulmonologist is a baby. He’s so young. My oncologist loves him and has known him his whole life because he is glose with his Dr Father for many years😊So my baby Pulmonologist grew up with Dr.s and his practice works with my Oncologist closely. so that’s been a blessing. Baby Pulmonologist just had his first baby 3 months ago.. It’ so wierd going to such young doctors who are a little yoinger than millennieals. He is so nice and does take care of me.

@shanagirl Yeah it was scary, good that DB came over and flipped the breaker that I was too weak to do so I did get power back to my place. Lucky that I have the hip fan which has a fantastic flashlight on it and does actually charge things too. Fan power is fantastic. The electrician replaced the outlet after checking on it, nothing damaged inside but replaced anyway, gave me extra outlets too, pack of 3 per original outlets, gives me six. Let me know that though it is OK to plug other outlets in as I have had to do, still limited to the power available so run one thing at a time. Easy enough to do. I also gained a counter on other side, put all kitchen tools in their container on floor and keeps the extension cord for the washers flatter than they were before.

I did go to be pretty late, supper was thrown off as I snacked a lot at the MO and Herceptin appointments. The 6pm pick up after Herceptin was fine as I waited about two hours. Good thing I have a charger and two pairs of earbuds to see me through at all times. Got full from my snack of veggie crisps and the two little blocks of cheese and ginger ale later so supper did not happen.

CT was clear, no changes in 11 years of those scans. Neck down of body has always been NED. I am relieved and thankful for the pocket duty.

Nothing firm on the agenda today. I am a little bit tired as bedtime is usually weird, I did fall asleep from about 10 pm, woke a 330 am so just made tea and went off to bed again. Woke around 9 am so I consider it a full night of sleep.

Not sure what to do meal wise, still have part of the egg and lentil meal I had yesterday so may use again today, just add a mini pot pie to it I think. I am also planning to microwave one egg on its own and add green and black beans to the chopper, possibly some cheese as well. As many know, I prefer smaller bean type stuff, easier to blend. I also need to check on noodles and flavour paks to see which if either don't taste right, if they are fine, no problem using, if not, chuck them all and go with new stuff. I am also looking at taking some veggie crispy crunch zesty ranch to act as seasoning, I have to say they are delicious, got them off Amazon. Have to buy 2 at a time eqaling 4 plus tax so thinking of playing a mobile game to take the cost off and be free or half off. Pretty easy to do.

I hope all have a good day, in pockets for all.

Not sure why meal plan did not post, will contain it here.

I opened a can of black beans and green beans separately. I put both kinds in one container to keep in fridge.

I took 2 eggs, about a cup of green beans and black bean mix. Heated in microwave for 6 mins since only 700 W. Let it cool. I brought out my chopper and put the egg and bean mix together, added some cheese and zesty ranch veggie crisps, not too many. If I describe what it looks like, ground beef to be honest.

The meal was really good, I have more to serve along with a mini pot pie and possible english muffin.

I am also tossing the pot, finish is coming off in earnest, can do it all in the air fryer which the finish does not come off and non sticky. I will figure out dinner soon.

I did do my monthly charges from Amazon for cats and myself. I think I mentioned finding a Swiffer Wet Jet in the hall which was there at the back door for a few days, it sure does a bang up job of making the floor look great but realize that the pads are quite expensive so got some reusable pads to use instead, can then do the vacuum sweeper first, then a run along with a dry swiffer pad for fur and the jet for the cleaning. Excited. Since my apartment is quite small, it will not take long to clean floors. It really does look good and doesn't eat up too much energy to keep things clean.

@mara51506 Great news on 11 years of nothing in the lower half, may it continue! You're smart to always have the phone accessories with you for the longer waits. I hear ya on the Swiffer Wet Jet it can get pricey with the pads when you using them often I have hardwood floors throughout most of my house and use various methods to clean them. I do have the mop that has the velcro microfiber pad and water reservoir which I put the Bona floor cleaner in and it does a quick and easy cleanup. Also I love this bathroom brush , it saves my back and des a great job, (amazon of course) Figured I would spread the word for all the cleaning fanatics here lol.

Had a nice lunch yesterday with friends / former co-workers. We went to Applebee's it's never about the food , it's usually going somewhere that doesn't mind if we sit there for hours and catch up! Quiet relaxing Easter here this year which works for us. Just the kids and significant others , keeping it simple with our traditional Italian. Lasagna , meatballs, sausage etc, relaxing day. Going Monday morning to be a witness for our DD and future son in law as they get their marriage license. Just 4 more weeks to go, getting exciting!

@candy-678 Thinking of you , sending strength and hugs.

@shanagirl I love that you have your "baby Pulm doc" lol. How nice it that to follow in his dad's footsteps and to be also as caring. Well he learned from the best and it shows!

Thinking of many here and hope it's a good day and a nice weekend. Wishing all who celebrate Passover and Easter a blessed holiday🌷

@cookie54 I have been interested in those scrubbing brushes because they keep popping up on my feed. Thanks for sharing the photo-maybe I will get one. They look great for the bath tub.

@intolight - Thanks so very much for your thoughts. They are much appreciated. I'm feeling a little better as the morning goes on and am thinking about just taking a couple of Tylenol and going out to eat, instead of bagging it for urgent care. Xeloda can cause this awful fatigue, and especially when starting the week off, which I am. I guess it can cause runny noses and coughing too, from what I read.

The allergies can cause body aches, fatigue, sore throat, coughing, etc., so I'm back to thinking this is "just" a combination of Xeloda and allergy side effects. No more sign of the low grade fever, and I read that being under the covers at night can raise body temperature, and that's when I took my temp. I'm leaning towards going out to dinner now.

Wow re your daughter's weight loss success. What fun - a mother/daughter new wardrobe shopping trip! Interesting too about your rougher week with chemo. That's what I've had with the Xeloda (chemo pill). Maybe there is something seasonal involved?

Wishing you a wonderful dinner making experience today, and I hope you all have a nice and special time together eating it. Happy Easter 💐🐰🌞!

I did nothing Easter Sunday, that is OK, does not bother me, watched a couple of movies, Deadpool and Wolverine and I also watch Candyman 1992 version. It is one of my favourite movies.

I got some much needed peanut butter from Amazon yesterday. I am enjoying some buttered english muffins first, let them cool from toasting in the breville, put a bunch of peanut butter on and a bit of honey. Have to be careful with it because too much is unappealing to me. I have also thought about what I can add a bit of honey to, yogurt is obvious but I will see. I will post if I make something interesting. Still working through pantry and freezer. Been waiting to make a Walmart order since my limit is 60 bucks per month. Not sure if it is possible but we would see. I may start getting dried lentils and beans and stuff, be easy to go in and select the amount needed but would have to be careful on the amount being soaked. We will see. I know dried stuff offers a higher yield than canned and it would be easy enough to soak over night. I would not do the whole bag because that would be too much. I am also thinking I would like to add quinoa to the mix today, still got some of the dried stuff hanging on the rack on outside of my bedroom.

I have also decided that when it comes to meat, I need it not to have too much grease. Even the lean ground beef produce a lot of grease and it is too much trouble to get it out. Thinking of buying beefless ground, it is expensive but paired up with beans, rice and eggs could stretch over several meals without providing the grease. Still got two more chubs of the lean ground beef as well. I will see what happens, try cooking it without adding another fat to it at the bottom of the pan, who knows. I see they have ramen for 12 cents but I still have a lot to use up myself so even that price makes no sense to fill up my pantry when there are so many packages already.

I am also debating going to the grocery store on the regular bus if I have decided I must have something, I am running low on hash browns and it would be nice to go and get some myself. Yes, I would need to walk and wait out side for the bus but it is not far and would just have them lower the ramp, trip is also free for me between 9 and 2pm and after 6pm weekdays and free all weekend. So makes sense to do that vs a full order of groceries, take advantage of a lack of snow and pick up stuff as needed provided weather not to bad and be cautious of picking up too much stuff. Pretty sure I have a bag to hold frozen stuff as well, I will check. I also noticed that I get a free transfer ride same as the regular bus if going home within 90 minutes. Can keep that in mind for later.

EDIT Chicken dogs I did in air fryer just require a shorter time, thinking 7 or 8 mins. I was plain hungry so ate the two I did for 15 mins. I will add the chicken dogs for later, they are cheaper and no grease which makes me happy. I can also cook one up, let cool then chop into beans, cheese and a microwaved egg then do a low heat warm up in the air fryer. I will see..

I hope all have a good day and in pockets for all, any cooking I do will be posted if fantastic.

In thinking about bills and stuff I watch, I decided to turn back on Stack TV, 16 channels on prime video and the Paramount as well as I love my Star Trek and other shows. If I give up Skip the dishes even just twice a month, the costs of the channels is still less money than two Mcdonalds meals by the time fees and tip are added.

@cookie54 I decided to put the channels back, I like being a day ahead of US on Young and Restless in Canada and I do enjoy Star Trek. This is 25 bucks vs two burger meals would cost double so will stop meal orders from skip the dishes.

I also played my mobile games for snacks. I have enjoyed veggie crisps from amazon in zesty ranch flavour, going to try the ketchup flavour. Was 1.44 for two bags of them as made 2.86 dollars on the games I played.

Well, was in bed a bit late but slept well. Some of the sleep was on couch and finally climbed into bed.

Today is chilly, we have a dusting of snow but only on the grass, will get warmer as the week goes on. Debating a paratransit trip to Walmart to get the few things I want. I will see. My plan is to utilize a transfer so I only pay for one trip. Need to arrange it so that my pickup is within 90 minutes. I want to get some stuff and not sure about doing all shopping this early. I will see how the weather is on Friday or Saturday. I know we will be warmer. Will likely book for Friday or saturday. It would only cost 2.35 for the trip there and back. Option 2 sees me pull out the other transit card for free rides in the off peak hours on regular bus. Weather is better on Wednesday and Thursday. I will decide later between regular bus or Paratransit or even delivery.

Laundry needs doing, need to chop up beans to get them used up. In future, will be mostly lentils. They go so easily into anything. For now, working through the green and black mix of beans in the fridge OR just microwave an egg in a small bowl then make an english muffin to put it in, perhaps adding some shredded cheese to mimic an english muffin. Easy enough to make or make the egg in the mini griddle, I could go either or.

Not too much else to say, waiting on a monthly trillium benefit which is good as well then will do taxes for last year to get them in before end of April.

Play more mobile games too, there are lots of snacks on Amazon to get, got my ketchup Veggie Crisps coming tomorrow, with a credit earned on amazon got two of them for a dollar.

Hope everyone has a good day, in pockets for all. If a meal seems good to me I will post it for sure.
