    I wake up between 8 and 9. Go to bed between 10 & 11.

Except for treatment or clinic days when almost always I have to be there between 730-830 so I go to bed earlier and need to set an alarm.

Zopiclone and the Sleep with Me podcast have really been working, tho on nights before scans and appointment i wake up more during the night. My fitbit is logging my sleep too.

I'm usually up between 530 to 7 sometimes 8 if I take Benadryl, but I rarely feel as if I've had true restful sleep.

Mara, that's awful about your oven episode. Sure hope they get it all resolved for you quickly.

I LOVE sleeping in! I wake up between 7:30-8:30 too with bedtime around 10pm.

Watching mysteries now but plan to run errands later and clean the kitchen. DH is spending the day and night camping out with a couple of friends and he’s off carbs for now, so I’m making French bread pizzas with salad for dinner.

Got my bucket and the clip on washer. It works really well and will be a good addition if I need to wash in addition to blankets on blanket day. I just have to put a towel down in the kitchen as well as there is limited splashing. Less messy than the tub. did not like it in the tub because next to my portable wash and spinner, too much water splashing around near plugs. Using in my kitchen sink instead. will be handy for this like bras, undies and socks. Bucket will be better if I want to soak stuff overnight as well.

I am a creature of habit. I go to bed around 9p. And up between 5:30a- 6a. But my sleep is horrible. I toss and turn with pains, and up usually twice to pee. Some nights I am sitting on the side of the bed for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. I have the majority of my pain at night-- shoulder, hips, back. I use several pillows for positioning. My cat sleeps with me and one night I think I kicked him off the bed-- he was using claws to hang on to the covers. He still sleeps with me, even though he doesn't get much sleep. Probably wishes he had the bed to himself.

Wow, mara sorry for your troubles.

Dollar store this morning first thing, laundry this afternoon, Zoom gaming this evening. Full day for a change. And, of course, horrid sleep last night. Will be ready for bed tonight.

I love sleeping in too. I wake up between 7-8 and go to bed around ten. Not too much planned today. I thought about cleaning house today. It's going to be another hot day in AZ.

Simone, I would be more upset if I did not have a breville oven I can use. If I was stuck without a stove, that would really suck. They do have until 4 pm. They also have permission to enter if I am not here so if I am desperate to go somewhere, I will just go. I just have to clear the hallway to make sure they have room to get in. I keep the dyson leaned up on the counter along with a container of garbage bags. I did tell them it was an emergency and what happened. Guessing it is not on their priority. If they don't replace the stove, I will ask for a rent reduction for being without it.

mara, hopefully you can get your stove replaced today. I use mine all the time and I know I would miss it.

No stove for today. No one came or even left a message. I cannot imagine they will come tomorrow either. No point in trying to get them to come tomorrow or Labour Day. Tuesday it is then. I will phone the property manager office to find out when I can expect someone.

On a brighter note, the cute clip on washer and bucket combo work really well together. Will be glad to use the combo when I have a lot to wash or if it is blanket day for sure. It really agitates them well. Needs to be in the tub when doing it's thing or else too much water splashing around on the floor.

I’ve been so emotional today. It’s partly missing my dog, partly feeling bad for my doxie, and partly missing my husband. He’s gone for a few days, and my doxie is very close to him. She does a lot with him. Now I took her dog friend and her human friend in the same week. Luckily, my husband will be back, so she’ll feel better. I took her to Pets Mart today, and when we came in the house, she ran to every room. I’m not sure if she was looking for my boy or my husband. I hope she perks up when Daddy comes home.

I wake up when girl cat thinks its time for me to wake up which, at the moment, is about 530 or 6. She knows all the tricks - stand on bladder, chew on cord, heavy breathing, tromping around on the bed (although today I got catupuncture when she stood on my sore thighs). Its easier just to get up and feed her and her brother and let them out but by that time Im awake and can't fall back asleep. But I like the quiet mornings with my coffee so its not so bad. Its just tough in winter when you go to bed and its dark and you get up and its dark and you wonder if you slept at all.

FitBit tells me I get about 6 to 6.5 hours of sleep a night and I function pretty well on that and usually go to bed about 11. I love a nap on the weekends though and today I took a really good 2.5 hour one.

We ordered a new king sized bed which will be arriving week after next - can't wait! If I check my sleep tracking I can see where - OH came to bed, cats came to bed, cat started waking me up, and when OH went to the bathroom at night. A proper sized bed will fit everyone with space to spare, with our good mattress and toppers, and hopefully I won't be disturbed as much.

Sondra, you are kind to have the cats in your room. I cannot sleep with a cat. I tried the first few days I was here but the pair of the cats would just have frenzied energy spurts and run across me, kept me awake. They are used to me going to bed and they sleep wherever they wish. When I open the door in the morning, they are all over me. I also feed them several small meals a day. My boy cat is a fast eater so less in the stomach each times means not so much barfing which I find gross to clean up. Worse than the litter box for me. I do sleep well without the cats I will say and I need about 8 hours of sleep to feel functional. Less and I am just a frustratable mess. Everything becomes an issue then.

At one point we had three dachshunds sleeping with us in a queen-sized bed. I finally got to the point where I said no more. I thought they’d be upset, but they were just as happy as we were to get out. Now I just have one doxie, not one of the three, they’ve passed. She sleeps with us. Much easier. And she stays out until we get up.

Mara - we do have a can of compressed air that has a motion sensor attached for those nights when I REALLY need sleep so we can shut the door. They have any number of couches, day bed, chairs, blankets, and pillows to sleep on all over the house but cats are gonna cat. A few mornings I have woken up 'late' because they have let themselves out the back door and its soooo nice to not feel that weight of expectation!

imageit looks like we all vary with our wake up times. I enjoy my quiet coffee time as well. But since March and Dh being here since, I get to have coffee with him. I need time to wake up, I can't spring into action and chat up a storm. I need a good 30 mins to wake up with my coffee. Sleeping habits also vary for me. Some days I can fall right asleep others not so much. Don't know what the differences are. Maybe naps. This morning when I woke up I thought I had been napping and it was 756 pm and I was sleeping the evening through. Dh looked at me like I was nuts. He laughed. Lol so did I after. Lol. Dh bought me a gorgeous lamp for my desk and sewing area. I needed a small lamp for my range of sight to be better. It's a Tiffany adjustable desk lamp and I love it . It's so elegant looking and the White is actually a baby sweet blue. I'll post a pic. I love it. Can't wait to sew at evening time.

Lovely lamp from your DH Mel. Glad you are enjoying it. I do not wake up very awake myself. Usually poke around on my phone for a few minutes before getting out of and making the bed. Even on days I trudge to the store first thing, I am not awake until I return home. Luckily, the only things here besides me are my cats. They just need food, not conversation.

Mel - my coffee time is my ME time.... for a good three or four hours :) Just like OH has his me time in the evenings after I go to bed, to play video games or work on his music. I just love how this flat is laid out that we can each have our me time in separate areas that are removed enough that you can go about what you are doing at normal sound and the other person can't hear. BTW - love that lamp, itll look fab on with your desk layout.

Mara - thats the stuff! We used it a lot more at the old place but now not as much, mostly as boy cat likes to go thug/mousing at night lately and isn't in there with us.

Western US ladies - I've been watching the weather forecasts for out there and criminy that's hot. Grew up in Las Vegas so I know hot but days on days on days of that type of heat is draining. I saw that news article about the campers cut off by fire in the Sierras and was going to read that next after BCO - just terrible.

I made some really fabulous carrot and white bean burgers last night for dinner from a Smitten Kitchen recipe. Made an open faced sandwich with a slice of good sourdough, a bit of mayo/hot sauce schmear, pile of spinach, bean burger, more hot sauce, smoked sea salt flakes, and then some pickled red onions and pumpkin seeds on top for crunch. Ate it with a knife and fork. Turned out delicious and I have more than a few for lunch for the week now!

Sondra, your sandwich sounds good. I've never had a white bean burger. I'm going to have to try that.

Mel I saw a few pages back you are still offering masks. No rush but I would love some! I will PM you.

This thread moves so fast. Happy Birthday Tanya! Yay Moth! I skimmed a little so might have missed things. Sending best wishes to all.

Mel, I cannot even remember if I said it, but I really like that lamp. It is lovely.

I scored a really good deal for yoga pants that gave me a lot of rewards on top. The pants were buy one get the other 50 percent off, I also had a 10.00 off coupon and a chrome add on removed another 5. Then I ordered through a site that gives 3 percent cash back. I used a credit card that gives 4 percent cash back at that retailer. I can call and get the price reduced once the money back posts on that same credit card. Best part is that they are athletic leggings that last a long time. I love it when I can take a purchase and stack rewards. Feel like my money goes further.

Thank you Ladies on the lamp. I got it last night and it’s prettier in person honestly. I love it and it matches with my set up so well!

Santa~send me your information! I’ll get it out ASAP It will give me an excuse to go by the fabric store lol. It’s a lovely day here. Not too bad heat. I’m helping Dh snap green beans. He’s canning them. I do it every year So I’ve snapped one buschel of beans today and yesterday. They are delicious.

Hi all, I am actually going to DB and SIL place for dinner, their dog won't know who I am at all LOL. Glad to be going I must say.

I have been playing with my clip on washer and bucket set up finding it way too messy when I realized something simple. I just needed to cover the top. I won't be doing heavy duty washing, just odds and sods that require no more than three to five minutes. While main washer is doing something else, the bucket washer can do small things if I hold a cutting board over it. Then it won't spit out tons of water. It will be contained within. Big problem solved and no water splatting near electricity or on the floor. That is a relief and a simple solution.

Me again... had a really good and filling dinner at my brothers. Some chicken coated with sauce, chinese type vegetables and of course fried rice. Dessert was a scoop of vanilla icecream served with a smore. Have not had a smore in years. Delicious and filling. I had not been to their place since I passed out Christmas. I have come a long way. Their cat was happy to see me and the dog was excited as well.
