DH is hoping Drumph recovers after January. He wants him alive to go through all the lawsuits, fines, penalties, and interest payments he has coming to him. He wants him cogent enough to see his fortunes devoured, his holdings liquidated, and his brand diminished beyond repair. He wants him present to witness the vulture lawyers descend, so that his massive debt doesn't just disappear with his passing. He wants to see his children and wife scramble as they realize that there will be nothing to inherit but a sullied name.

He wants Drumph to pay - very literally.

Miriandra, I agree with your husband 200%. I want him to get well soon so everyone can start mercilessly mocking him, I want him to suffer a humiliating defeat in Nov and then literally pay back all the stolen money through long drawn-out lawsuit.

I still can't believe nobody says no to him, doctors, secret service, etc. People have lost their family members to Covid and had to say their goodbyes over the phone or zoom, and this moron gets to have a publicity stunt using public money?

Miriandra -- I agree as well. I would though like for Trump ( just to make sure he never forgets what it is like ) to have heart palpitations daily -- just any time -- no set time to count on but when it is least expected. That would be for mocking all those who did not get to see anyone who loved and cared about them before they passed away alone. If fortunate some may have been able to hold the hand of a beautiful nurse or even Dr. but they sure as heck weren't able to get a joy ride. For sure I would in fact like for Trump to ENJOY watching all his holdings disappear and perhaps see his family looking at him like the creep he is for destroying ALL they might have had. I do think they all should suffer for their arrogance and the scorn they levy to others -- especially those who they love to hound for perceived deserved retributions. I want none of them around after this -- but that would of course, be after they have all been brought to their knees where they really belong.

Miriandra, I'm with your Dh as well. That said though, before Trump gets all the way well, I'd like to see him have enough of a downturn in his disease process that he is very, very worried that he just might not make it. Perhaps some of those heart palpitations that come every day for just a bit, enough to remind him of all the others he more or less totally mocked as they lay alone in hospitals with no one. I would like to see him face his family while they display their displeasure at his ruining them along with himself. I hope they all suffer twice as much as nayone else ever did.

'This Is Spiraling Out of Control' Allies Panic About Trump

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 10:32 AM PDT

Gabriel Sherman: After spending months denying the dangers of COVID-19, [President] Trump is expressing an emotion aides have rarely seen: fear. On Friday, Trump grew visibly anxious as his fever spiked to 103 Fahrenheit and he was administered oxygen at the White House, according to three Republicans close to the White House. Two sources told me Trump experienced heart palpitations on Friday night"possible side effects of the experimental antibody treatment he received.image

New Group of Evangelical Leaders Forms in Support of Biden

Trump PAC Co-Chair on Covid: "We're ... the Stupid Party"

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 04:32 AM PDT

The drip-drip-drip of positive tests, coupled with the specter of a president who as of Saturday was "not on a clear path to a full recovery," as White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows put it, has prompted some Republicans to question whether the party is responsible for its own potential undoing. "There was a panic before this started, but now we're sort of the stupid party," said Edward J. Rollins, co-chairman of the pro-Trump super PAC Great America.image

How many people are DEAD because they believed the words of, and followed the example of, the President of the United States? Not to mention the 'collateral damage' done to people infected by those followers. I am even more furious than ever before.

Miriandra - Your husband is right. At first I thought a rough and lengthy recovery would be good, but not if he endangers others like today on his pathetic joy ride.

    Still...

New Jersey health officials said Sunday that more than 200 guests may have been exposed to COVID-19 during President Donald Trump's campaign fundraiser on Thursday, just hours before the administration announced his diagnosis.

The state's Department of Health tweeted that it has finally received enough information to contact trace those who attended the high-dollar event at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. The White House supplied New Jersey officials with the names of at least 206 individuals, not including staff working at the golf course.

    Serenity,

Thank you.I am always understanding of someone who may not be familiar with this “hidden” thread and simply remind them of the moderators rules. I am less understanding of someone who posts simply to provoke. I hope the moderators see this because this thread has been largely peaceful and I think most of us would prefer it stay that way.

Thank you again gals! For always explaining things, helping me understand what is going on with this "administration"! I usually send part of your comments, or whole pages to my Daughter, as we all believe the same way.

Sometimes people just like to "look-in" on what we are saying here... they know all to well what we are about... and yes, this IS a safe place to talk to each other, and try and understand what is going on!

I was just amazed, when I saw the so-called leader of our country, thinking of going out for his joy-ride, to greet his little group of fanatical fans! IF he really DOES have the virus, to think of contaminating another group of tag-alongs is just un-thinkable! My Daughter thinks we've all been played. Have to admit, this clown really knows how to garner all the attention from what is actually going on, and turn it all on his worthless little self.

I just don't put anything past him... never have, and I would never trust him OR his paid entourage! Guess he can even influence his doctors now! We will never know the truth... only what he wants us to know...

Perhaps edwards750 thinks as women, we should "stay sweet". After all, for centuries, societal conditioning wants to insist women not be permitted to express any feelings other than having nice thoughts. They should not display anger, be demanding or insistent.

Perhaps edwards750 doesn't realize that her right to vote was fought for—fought for—by women who, for years, demanded to be heard, who marched for the right, some who were imprisoned for seeking the right to vote. Perhaps edwards750 thinks women in 1920 had a bake sale trying to get voting rights and the men in power thought that was so sweet, they said, hey, lets give women the right to vote. It didn't go down like that.

If edwards750 has a credit card in her own name, used birth control, served on a jury, participated in girls' high school sports, worked while pregnant without getting fired, these are some of the rights she has benefitted from countless women who went before her and demanded, petitioned and fought for. No where along the way were these rights freely given.

A book called "Good Girls' Revolt" tells of women in the 1960s working at Newsweek who were only permitted to do research but not allowed to be writers or editors. Women journalists raised in the 1940s and 50s challenged the system by filing a class action lawsuit claiming discrimination. Men tried to shame them by saying, "We thought you were good girls." Being good doesn’t get you rights.

As the saying goes, nice women seldom make history.

Perhaps edwards750 could educate herself on the kinds of women it takes to produce change in society so women have a voice in our world. There is a time to be good and a time to revolt. Hmmm...sounds kinds like a Bible scripture.....

I, for one, am so very happy to have found this group. Intelligent women that understand history, the constitution, personal rights, etc. I am so very disappointed in our current administration and the medical actions around the president. Seems sad to me that Melania is back at the White House and the public is unaware of her condition. The Osteopathic doctor that is treating Trump certainly has a different way of informing the public with half truths and misinformation. I want Trump to recover, continue the campaign and LOSE in November.

Thanks for all of your voices!

Since Edward's aim is to stir us up, I suggest moving on is what would disappoint her the most.

George Washington said, "Good moral character is the first essential in a man." I think I will post and re-post this quote over and over again from now until the election as I see examples of good moral character, and its opposite, during the last stages of this campaign.

I thought his absence would put the spotlight on Biden and that could be risky, but thankfully the orange menace can't stay out of the spotlight for too long and is already making a fool of himself. This is going to get really comical (and dangerous), his insecure petulant child personality is not compatible with a contagious disease and pandemic guidelines.

Integrity is not a conditional word. It doesn't blow in the wind or change with the weather. It is your inner image of yourself, and if you look in there and see a person who won't cheat, then you know you never will. -John D. MacDonald

I'm heartened by the fact that Edwards 750 seemed to have gotten "comfort" herself by putting in one entry and then not returning. I very much hope she won't. No one here and a lot who are not her would not give her one minute of their time. She certainly won't get much of mine. The mods have continued to be gracious about understanding our huge need to share here and release much of our tension over political events.
