Self checkouts in my area are able to weigh produce.

My opinion is, charge less for the groceries we self-check, and I will go along with it. Right now, I avoid self-check if I can.

I could likely go for self-check-out if indeed the price of groceries reflected a decrease. True the store is not making all the extra they would like, but they are also not paying as much in wages, bonuses and insurance and any other incidentals that may have come in the last few years. I avoid self-check-out now and will for now continue that habit. Should they go to all self-check-out which is more likely than not someday, I might end up using other stores. As it stands Walmart doesn't have anything special, I can't get somewhere else.
In time I hope our little berg gets a bit more variety. They are just now building a drive- thru coffee called Scooters. Prices sound close to Starbucks which is in fact in Mt. Vernon 22 miles away. I sometimes get a cup if I'm there, but too far to drive otherwise so every little bit we do seem to get some 'business'. I hope the coffee place makes it and that we fall heir to a few more places later on. I dream of an IHOP which likely will never come but oh would I be happy if it did.

Like, why does he still grab so many headlines? He shoulda been canceled years ago, just after he stormed the stage and grabbed the mic away from Taylor Swift during the Video Music Awards in 2009 when she got up to accept the Best Female Video of the year award.
