So, my old boss is getting really desperate to unload the massage studio. Back in August, he fired myself and another lead therapist. We filed a complaint with the NLRB, and they found merit in our complaint. We have a hearing date before a labor judge set for 9/15. Earlier this week, he offered to GIVE us the studio if we waived the backpay he would owe us in an NLRB settlement. He also offered to pay the franchise transfer fee and "pay all the unpaid rent". 😳
So, we're not saying "no", but we'd need a lot more information before we considered a "yes". We'd need to see the financials ("unpaid rent" = red flag) to make sure there were no liens or debt attached. There's also the matter of a lot of inventory that's gone walk-about since he began disassembling the studio. We'll also want to see the property lease and the franchise agreement with the corporate entity. And of course, this is all assuming that the corporate brand even allows him to transfer the franchise to a group of pro-union roustabouts. ✋💪🤚
We'd love to take over the studio, but we don't trust the other guy in the least. We've reached out to a business lawyer who works with franchises. We'll be discussing how we might go forward as safely as possible, or if it's just not a feasible move.

Ruth, love the My Pillow hire. Just perfect. Heard it said that they need someone as 'gross' as Carlson was but that is not reasonable. Seems to me, Fox will remain in a bad situation owing to the lawsuits that are coming.
Can't see many ways to satisfy their off the wall extremist viewers and thinking that is what they get for choosing to be a brain-washing program.

I love all the memes! I am struggling with this new format also- hard to tell when something new is on a thread and some of the print is so tiny! I haven't read any of the instructions thoroughly and guess I will have to. when I log on it takes me (again) to a site telling me to update my profile.

The new comment date on this thread hasn’t changed since 4/23 despite many new comments. I informed the mods and they thought it had something to do with the hidden status of this thread but did not mention if it would be fixed. At least the thread is hidden again! There are many other minor glitches but they are annoying and I am not thrilled with the fact that in addition to dealing with bc we have now been tasked with reporting all of them. What happened to beta testing and the members who were involved in this?

I likely mentioned it already, but I, as well, thought there would be less white. Not sure but I also thought you could change the font appearance for what you could see — maybe even for sending although if individuals wanted something else it would change for how they saw the font.
There is something that changes - it is that little mark at the beginning of where YOU type. The font stays the same, but I think the size changes. At least it appeared that way in the directions to me. I haven't tried it yet because I'm okay with how it is.
I do find the avatar as well as the other 'facts' right by it on the small side and the I think it is therefore somewhat confusing when getting done with one entry and going to the next. It just doesn't seem to be delineated very well.
Well, I'm a mass od complaints, but thought most of the things I don't like were really okay before when we still had the older version. I do so miss the coloring.
I do note that you can make a word, or words dark black, or italicized etc. just by highlighting the word or sentences. It will give you a drop down choice — so that works far better than the old one ever did for me. Finally — something I'm not crabbing about.
Hope in time (and I guess with enough complaints) some of these things might become better.
