Loved the juvenile red tailed hawk photo. We have a semi-resident Cooper's hawk who views our bird feeder as a buffet table. He occasionally nails a mourning dove. We also have a resident garter snake who used to live in our rock wall abutting the patio. When they had to realign it, the worker came to get me to move the snake. Turns out he was deathly afraid of a snake that was barely 12 inches. DGS found him in pachysandra last summer and he is now nearly 3 feet. He can remain because he will eat mice. He's also very beautiful.

It can be tempting to blame others for our loss of direction.  We get lots of information about life but little education in life from parents, teachers, and other authority figures, who should know better from their experience. Information is about facts.  Education is about wisdom and the knowledge of how to love and survive.  But no matter how much advice you get, you are the one who chooses which train to board.  As you pass through life, pay attention to the signs and stations; if you don't like the scenery, pull the emergency cord and get off the train. There is no other conductor in charge.  There is no one who needs to give you permission to transfer.  This is your life. Your journey. Your trip to conduct.

Still boggles my mind that people see the anger around the Loon and how disloyal it can present for them and yet they just keep doing it. Each person obviously thinks highly of themselves and then becomes convinced that they can be for the Loon exactly what he needs to move him to an acceptable area while so many others could not.

Where they get that I'll never know. You see others brought down and destroyed so the Loon can shine. I think a couple of the Loon's (or more) lawyers may find themselves there as well. Kise and Habba are just as 'crazy' as their client lately. Then again — he is and has been indefensible which is why we have Biden. The lawyers have a long history to losing as they fail to view the more, they listen to the client lunatic the farther over the edge they go with their client.

Trump Loses It At Judge For Not Postponing Trial So He Can Attend Mother-In-Law’s Funeral

    by Sheila18 mins ago10 mins ago582ShareTweet

It’s a different day and more drama surrounding Donald Trump. The former president’s recent request to postpone a trial has become a talking point, reflecting the intricate blend of personal, legal, and political narratives that often surround him.

The saga began when Trump sought to delay a defamation lawsuit filed by E. Jean Carroll, citing the need to attend his mother-in-law’s funeral in Florida, but the only problem, his calendar showed that he was scheduled to attend a campaign rally on the same day as the funeral. Trump’s lawyers requested that Judge Lewis Kaplan who is overseeing the trial, postpone the trial to the following week because of the sudden death of Trump’s mother-in-law Amalija Knavs. Trump could not attend the trial in New York on Wednesday and Thursday because he would be traveling to Florida to attend the funeral. This revelation raised eyebrows and questions: Was the request for postponement purely out of familial respect, or were there other motives at play, perhaps even political ones?

Although Trump is not required to be at the trial, Donald had expressed interest in attending. Kaplan denied the request, however, and said that while the court “offers its condolences” to the Trump family, the trial would continue as scheduled.

Unsurprisingly, Trump’s response to the decision was filled with manic anger. He took to social media to express his displeasure, labeling the judge as biased and the trial as a politically motivated sham. This reaction is typical of  Trump’s aggressive style, especially when dealing with legal challenges and perceived opposition.

No surprise what-so-ever. We all know how Trump worshiped his mother-in-law with sooo much love and devotion. About as much as I'd love having a cockroach living in my kitchen. I'm sure he barely knew (and for sure cared less) that she was barely alive when she was.

As an aside, I've never quite known what to think of Melania's parents. I don't think too highly of them, but I do realize that your off-spring turn out sometimes because of you, and sometimes in spite of you. In my book, Melania did not turn out well. Which of the descriptions above is the right one, I don't know. Trump and Melania did get her parents over to the U.S. and frankly at that time who wouldn't have been enamored of migrating here. Melania to me is basically as cold-hearted and rotten as the man she is married too — may they both rot in jail.

So true. I hope Judge Cannon ends up with deep regrets for her present behavior. I do understand she may feel quite beholden but anyone with well-developed brain cells would never have allowed themselves a "judgeship" present compliments of Trump.

I'd be embarrassed and pretty sorry I said that, but I know — Idiot Reps. Pence ended up beholden too.

We need to quit looking the other way for ALL people who do crimes —ALL should indeed be treated the same. We certainly need to keep our politics above board after the Loon fiasco.
