The list was as follows: Applied Underwriters (Sirius Point), Allianz, Amynta, Arch, Argo, Ascot, AXA XL, Berkley, Berkshire Hathaway, CAP Specialty, Chubb, Cincinnati, CNA Surety, DUAL/Axis, Everest Re, Frankenmuth, Hartford, Hudson, IAT (Harco), Intact, Liberty, Munich Re, Philadelphia Indemnity, MainStreet (NGM), Markel, Nationwide, RLI, Skyward (Great Midwest), Sompo, Swiss Re, Tokyo Marine HCC, Travelers, and Zurich.
There are the people who did not want to have anything to do with the bonding of the Loon's New York/James fraud judgement. I note the Chubb group is among them. They were the ones that are backing the Carroll judgement.

Just goes to prove that the Trump name by definition really has no value in the eyes of most sane people. If you look at Mara A Lago and other holdings they are beyond gaudy with his taste in decor. I understand that Melania wanted to redecorate their living area and had made some changes which he hastily had torn out and replaced to their former style. For some, taste is limited exclusively to their mouth and he may be the poster child for this though his diet leaves a lot to be desired, too. Waiting for those burgers to totally occlude his arteries. Think the brain is already showing signs of impairment.

Dh and I rarely listen to nightly news but we watched ABCNews a bit ago and saw the report on how Trumps lawyers were rejected by 30 companies and he can’t secure the $464 million bond.
Amd then it showed Trump at a rally referring to those who went to prison for the Jan 6 attack on the Capital as “hostages” and then he played the national anthem. It was heinous. He wants to jail Liz Cheney and others who investigated Jan 6 and release those jailed for their Jan 6 crimes. It was beyond heinous. Dh and I are incredulous that anyone could continue to support such a deranged person.

I am laughing out loud with you MM, while wondering if the Loon is jealous of Taylor Swift's bank account. I ordinarily would be amazed at anyone that had as much hanging over their heads as the Loon. I think he is only able not to totally collapse from the wt. because he is so mentally un-sound.
To that end, I think from what I'm reading that the story (although actually has truth to it) that the Loon won't be going out on rallies but will do the campaigning from his MaraLago digs, is so he can conserve funds in short supply. They are in short supply, but a great deal of the time he doesn't pay anyway. What seems to be much closer to the truth is that he made so many gaffes in the last rally that his handlers just don't really dare to keep letting him out.
Both of the issues (the money as well as mental) are on the top of the list for Loon. I do think though that the handlers know that the time has come that the media will not be able to "play" along anymore.
I also note that he will now be tarred with the same brush he tried to use on Pres. Biden in the campaigning run up to the 2020 election. Pres. Biden was doing a lot from home or offices and the Loon kept saying that Biden was campaigning from his basement. Sort of hiding out as it were. This was covid quarantine which never stopped the Loon. He paid for his supposed bravado later. Or was that just purely narcissistic in nature. Did he think he was too great to come down with a case of Covid ?
I've never forgotten how he checked out of Walter Reed quickly (wasn't going to let M. Pence be in charge - no way) and stood outside after leaving the helicopter panting like a fish out of water. I kept waiting for him to keel over, but he disappointed me.
I'm waiting with baited breath now to find out if Putin comes to his rescue at the 11th. hour. Scary, but no matter how much time it takes, he is not going to have much of anything left.

Great memes and the dog toy one was a real eye opener. I would never buy one for my dog even though she would most likely destroy it. I am sure he is desperate enough to try to be making a buck off them or will sue to get his share.
I don't think Putin will bail his ass out either. Yes, it would give him control but it would be a dead giveaway to election interference.

Please don't think a country without Trump would make things "normal" again. We are actually lucky Trump is such a crazy man. There are many who would do exactly what Trump is doing but wouldn't be vocal about it.
It reminds me of when I worked in the veterinary practice. It was never the growling dog that concerned me, it was the dog that crouched in a corner with eyes glaring.
Even with a Biden win, after the violence has calmed, (there will be violence, hopefully managed by law enforcement and/or military) our fight to keep our Democracy will not be over, it is only just beginning! That is why it is critical to gain control of both the House and the Senate in addition to the Presidency. Not the way a healthy democracy should work, but right now there is no Republican party!
It is past time for the adults in the room to take control!

I worry that at the last minute, some billionaire will pay Trump’s bond, or some super PAC or a few ultra wealthy people will pull resources to do it. He just always seems to get financial support for his dastardly lifestyle.
I hope there is not violence with a reelection of President Biden, but if so, at least he will call out military troops to contain it. How can people not remember how Trump excoriated Colin Kapernick, NFL player, who took a knee during the national anthem, and how Trump went on to blow up the entire situation with the NFL and players taking a knee— a peaceful protest!—- yet he turns around and calls those who attacked the capital, broke in, caused damage and loss of life and ended up going to prison, he refers to them as politcal “hostages“. The disconnect is astounding.
