With both MM and Divine. I do worry very much since people have always stepped up to help the Loon. It defies logic but I have always thought it partly happens because "normal" people don't operate like Trump and so there is something of disbelief and due to that people begin to think he has something going on that he doesn't really. All he has is the lack of conscience and rational judgement. So, he is able to manipulate life and make it seem he knows how to exercise some sort of control.

One way or the other I do think he is over, but like MM I also think it will be some time before the mesmerized right will let loose of all they were able to be and express after the Loon took over their party. We are in fact fortunate that we didn't end up with someone much smarter than the Loon who might have been able to get much farther. The greed and avarice have done their work and who knows for sure how long it will take to rid people of their desire for power and dominance.

I do HOPE that bloodbaths and other 'threats' will be ignored by most. For one thing, anyone who wishes to 'fight' on the Loon's behalf will have to do so on the strength of what has already been the fate of the 1/6 group. What good would be done for a loser who will make you one and be even less help than he has been to the 'original' group of helpers. I think you'd have to be way off to assume you'd get anywhere in any way. You'd have to be nuts to want to be the absolute martyr for such a losing proposition. That said, there are I'm sure people who might indeed be inflamed to the point of forgetting reason and blindly forging ahead. I do think those types might quickly be dealt with by police and military.

There were if memory serves a couple of earlier calls by the Loon for people to show up for him (I think one or more of those were his some of his first court appearances for booking) and there wasn't all that much response. Who wants to face jail when you go and the Loon walks around free. Hostages for the Loon. Doesn't sound like anything to risk my freedoms on. I hope others will see it the same way.

No future in it for anyone but the Loon. I'd back off too. It's about that word friend. Some people don't know the meaning of the word.

COCERCION: Team Trump hangs Alina Habba OUT TO DRY in sexual harassment settlement

    by STEPHANIE BAZZLE

Alice Bianco was a server at Donald Trump’s National Golf Club in Bedminster New Jersey when she confided in attorney Alina Habba that she was being coerced into sexual activity by a food and beverage manager at the property, Pavel Melichar.

Now she says that Habba’s display of kindness at the time was a cover for helping hush up the allegations.

Bianco just settled a case against the property, negating the nondisclosure agreement, allowing her to keep the original $15k hush money payment, and granting her another $82.5k. However, what the settlement doesn’t do is offer any protection for the woman Bianco says tricked her into a too-low settlement.

In fact, she’s already considering further lawsuits, and Habba could be the target of one of them. The settlement makes it very clear that the attorney is still fair game. The Daily Beast reported:

There was an error displaying this embed. There was an error displaying this embed. There was an error displaying this embed.

“But then comes this line [in the settlement] out of nowhere: ‘The parties agree that Alina Habba is not a party to this release.’ That means Habba was specifically cut out of the deal, allowing Bianco to sue her directly for the exact same issues.”

I am still amazed…...I know people on the right for the most part is in a bubble, but surely, they emerge once in a while. I assume they don't believe that their glorious guy is going to take a hike and a crap on them. The ruin the Loon has left behind for others is monumental.

I don't think Putin will help. If he thought he could genuinely get Trump in then he might. But if Trump loses then it is money wasted because he gets nada out of it. Maybe the Saudi's?

If things are tough, remember that every flower had to go through a whole lot
of dirt to get there.  So do not grieve about a bitter experience.  The present
is slipping by while you are regretting the past and worrying about the future.
Regret will not prevent tomorrow’s sorrows; it will only rob today of its strength.

Trump is crying election will be "rigged" again. Shocker! He claimed the same in both of the former elections except MAGA members have brain fog when he ran in 2016 because he won!

I think Putin is done with Trump and set his sights on others in the GOP.

Even Fox News and MAX are saying GOP is wasting time on Joe Biden impeachment case.

And here we go AGAIN! Another looming Partial Government shutdown. Tell your representatives you are tired of this!

The continuous threat of a government shut down does leave me weary! When does it end? Do our representatives even care? And yes, the whole impeach President Biden thing is a complete waste of time! Wtf.

Locally, President Biden campaign ads have been airing on tv. He has announce an 8.5 billion dollar grant for microchips to be made in four states in the U.S.; Ohio is one of them. Currently the chips are all made outside the U.S The United States Steelworkers have endorsed him for President. The stock market is doing well. Unemployment is down. What’s not to like about all this?

Biden is giving Intel $8.5 billion for big semiconductor projects in 4 states

    Deepa Shivaram/March 20, 20244:05 PM ET/NPR

CHANDLER, Ariz. — President Biden announced a deal with Intel that will give the chipmaker up to $8.5 billion in grants and another $11 billion in loans to build semiconductor plants in four states — the biggest project to date in his push to bring chips manufacturing back to America.

The funding comes from the CHIPS and Science Act passed by Congress in 2022 to pour more than $52 billion into projects to dramatically boost U.S. production of the tiny electronic devices found in everything from cars to cell phones to military weapons.

The deal with Intel — which is preliminary and still involves due diligence to finalize — will see the company invest more than $100 billion of its own money into the projects. Intel expects to offset that investment by claiming as much as $25 billion in investment tax credits, the company's CEO Pat Gelsinger told reporters.

These are the kinds of jobs Biden has been campaigning on

All told, Biden said the Intel projects will create nearly 30,000 construction and factory jobs. They are an example of the kinds of jobs he is campaigning on as he makes his pitch for a second term — jobs made possible by his brand of government intervention in the private sector, an industrial policy that had, for decades, fallen out of fashion.

Biden announced the funding during a swing through two battleground states that are key to his reelection campaign — Arizona and Nevada — where he is trying to change the perception that the economy was better under the policies of former President Donald Trump, his opponent in November.

Trump had also promoted policies he said would support American manufacturing, like tariffs to keep out imports and tax cuts for corporations.

But Biden said his investments in manufacturing had help the economy rebound. "It's a fundamental break from the trickle-down economics supercharged by my predecessor," Biden said during his remarks at Intel's Ocotillo campus outside of Phoenix.

"On his watch, companies sent American jobs overseas for cheaper labor, and imported products," Biden said.

These plants will make a kind of chip not currently made in the United States

The investment by Intel will give the United States a foothold in leading-edge logic chips — the kind of semiconductors used for artificial intelligence and military systems. Right now, these chips are all made overseas.

The Loon has to have some reason as to why he is going to lose in 2024 and he doesn't want it to be because he's in jail or senile and which both are strong possibilities. He'll also be totally broke with no business. Ole' Fred Trump must be rolling in his grave.

There are numerous reasons why the Loon should never set foot in the WH again and in addition to all of them is the fact that he has spent his whole life not taking responsibility for anything he has done. The more negative the event the more he runs from it and assigns it to someone or something else. Then it comes as no surprise that he would claim another rigged/stolen election. Most of his followers gleefully gobble up his excuses and I'm wondering how much of their life they are not taking responsibility for either.

Love the memes about hiring a guy from New York who is not allowed to run a business there and yet you think he should run the U.S. A whole Universe of people and this is your choice. How could you want a dehumanized monster who doesn't really care if you (his voter) ever draw another breath. I wish those people would start to care about themselves again.

I think one of the things Pres. Biden promised if elected was to bring chip building back home. Being responsive and responsible. As you said Divine and MM — what's not to like about a leader who keeps his word and is making our life all the better for it. Problems yes, but in Pres. Biden we have a leader who will look those problems in the eye and challenge them. No excuses, no searching for someone else to blame. Yes indeed - what's not to like, even love.

Lessons in how to be stupid and insane at the same time. The Reps. are appealing to each other while trying to continue to create doubt and confusion. I hope/think they are creating their uselessness and that won't be much appreciated come election time for them.
